Celebrating the Ancient Solomon Temple’s Simchat Beit Hashoeva (“Water Drawing Ceremony”)

Isaiah 11:3 - “You will say on that day, ‘I thank You, Hashem, for you were angry with me, and now Your wrath has subsided and You have comforted me. Behold, G-d is my salvation; I shall trust and not fear. For G-d is my might and my praise – HaShem! – and He is a salvation for me.’

You can draw water with joy from the spring of salvation. And you will say on that day, ‘Give thanks to Hashem; declare His Name, make His acts known among the peoples; declare that His Name is exalted. Make music for Hashem, for He has acted with grandeur; make this known throughout the world.”

I’Chaim weekly – “One of the most joyful celebrations in Israel was the Drawing of the Water during Sukkot. The Sages noted that "Whoever never witnessed the Simchat Beit Hashoeva has never in his life seen true joy." They have left us wonderful descriptions of the scenes that inspire us with longing to witness it once again.

How was the ceremony conducted? A golden container was filled with water drawn from the pools at Siloam in Jerusalem. When the water carriers reached the Water Gate, they blew three notes on the shofar.

On the right side of the ramp leading to the altar, there were two silver bowls, each with a hole shaped like a narrow spout, one wider than the other. One bowl stood to the east and the other to the west. The shapes of the bowls allowed them to be emptied simultaneously. (The wider spouted bowl held wine, which flows more slowly than water.)

As the evenings of the festival approached, the people made their way down to the Court of the Women. There were golden candlesticks, fifty cubits high, with four gold bowls atop them. Four ladders led to the top of each candlestick, and four young kohanim mounted the ladders, holding in their hands large jars of oil which they poured into the golden bowls. Wicks to light the oil were made from worn-out clothing of the kohanim, and when the candlesticks were lit, the light glowed throughout the entire city of Jerusalem.

The greatest Sages and Tzaddikim would participate joyfully in the celebration, performing the most extraordinary feats. Some of them would bear burning torches in their hands while singing Psalms and other praises of G-d. The Levites would play many various musical instruments, including harps, lyres, cymbals, and trumpets as they stood on the fifteen steps which led down from the Court of Women in the Holy Temple.

Simchat Torah celebrates the ending of one cycle and the beginning of the new cycle of reading the Torah, the Jewish holy scrolls used in every synagogue.

Two kohanim were stationed at the Upper Gate of the Temple, holding trumpets in their hands. As the roosters crowed the first light of dawn, they blasted their trumpets, and as they ascended the steps, they blew two additional rounds of tekiah's. They continued walking until they reached the gate which led to the east, whereupon they turned to face the west and uttered the words: "We belong to G-d and our eyes are turned to G-d."

The Sages relate that when the great Sage, Rabbi Shimon ben Gamliel rejoiced at the water festival, he would juggle with eight lighted torches, tossing them into the air, catching one and then throwing another, so that they never touched each other. He would also prostrate himself on the ground, bend down, doing a head-stand, kiss the ground and draw himself up again, a feat which no one else could do.

The Talmud relates many of these displays of prowess which the Sages performed at the Simchat Beit Hashoeva. They record that Reb Levi used to juggle in the presence of Rabbi Yehuda HaNassi with eight knives. Shmuel would do the same with eight glasses of wine, without spilling any of their contents. Rabbi Abaye would juggle before Rabbi Rabba with eight (or some say, four) eggs.

It is written in the name of Rabbi ben Chanania, "When we used to rejoice at the place of the water-drawing, our eyes saw no sleep." It is explained that the entire day was occupied with holy activities, so that the participants in the Simcha were busy from day to night.

In the morning the sacrifice was brought, followed by prayers, and then an additional sacrifice. Then they would study Torah and eat breakfast. Afternoon prayer was following by the evening sacrifice and then the water-drawing festivities commenced. The celebration of the Simchat Beit Hashoeva continued throughout the entire night, lighting up the city so brilliantly that there was 

no courtyard in Jerusalem which didn't reflect the light of the great candlesticks which illumined the Festival of the Water-Drawing.”

The Fall Festivals of the Jews: Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish knowledge of Time – Part Seven

Yearning to know all that is to know about the history of the world, the Jewish sages also sought and had access to the reservoir of the greatest historical collection of documents in the Roman Empire from the Greco-Roman era to the European medieval era. During the first two centuries of this Common Era, the largest concentration of Jews in the world lived near the cosmopolitan city of Alexandria, Egypt. This was in part that many of the Jews had fled early in the arrival of the Roman forces into Judea that culminated in the sacking of the city of Jerusalem and the destruction of the famous Temple of Herod.

This concentration of Jews living in Alexandria was not just a coincidence but was divinely ordained for Egypt, though being the Jews first oppressor was also Judah’s retreat in time of danger and disaster.

Here in Egypt was located the Great Museum and Royal Library of Alexandria that was founded in the year of 283 BCE. Here was also the largest archive of ancient books, manuscripts, papyri, and documents of antiquity than any other library in the history of the world up to that date.

The Royal Library of Alexandria was reputed to have had over a half a million documents in their archives from Assyria, Greece, Persia, Egypt, India and numerous other nations. This included a complete Hebrew Torah and TaNaKh. Here also over 100 full time scholars researched at the library and impelled the Egyptian government to also open a secondary library at the Temple of Serapis. No doubt many of these fulltime scholars were of Jewish lineages.

The history of the Alexandrian Jews dates to the days when Alexander the Great founded the city in 332 BCE. From the foundation of the city, the Jewish people were there and prospered. They formed a large segment of the Alexandrian population where the two of the five districts of the city were assigned to them by the Ptolemies so that they would live a “pure life” free of indigenous cultic and pagan influence.

Over the centuries the Jewish people became almost an autonomous sector of the Egyptian society.  They did not have to hide behind “private societies” that were used for religious purposes like in Rome. Neither did they have to become a part of a “corporation of foreigners” or a “merchant guild” like they had to in other centers of commerce.

Not only that, the G-d of Israel provided them with their own Jewish Temple so they could perform the sacrifices to the L-rd when their own land in Judea was being corrupted by Hellenism. As BibleSearchers reflection wrote in the article titled, “The Jewish Temple in the Land of Onias at Leontopolis in Egypt”:

BibleSearchers Reflections – “In the year of 154 BCE, Onias V (not Menelaus as Onias IV) became the first high priest that was denied the office of the high priest by an outside imperial ruler. It was Lysias, the Imperial Vice-Regent for the Syrian king, Antiochus V Eupator (164-162 BCE) that deprived Onias V this esteemed post. He gave the role of the high priest to Alcimus (163-159 BCE), a descendant of Eniachim, the brother of Jozadak, the exiled priest in Babylon and father of the High Priest Yehoshua II (Jesus II).  

We ask, what was the problem? Eniachim was the brother to Jozadak the high priest and therefore he was not the oldest son and legitimate heir to the throne of the high priest. The high priest designate, Onias V, escaped from Jerusalem and took his family to Egypt. For the first time in Hebrew history, a foreign ruler had intervened in the hereditary succession of the high priest of Israel, and denied the accession of Onias V, to rule in his father, Onias III’s place.

There upon an island in the marshy Delta of the Nile River, the high priest designate, Onias V placed the mark where the Temple of the Lord would be built that would rival the temple in Jerusalem. It was here where the Nile River meets the Egyptian Delta and spreads like a mighty fan northward before entering the Mediterranean Sea.

Onias V settled his family in the Nome or District of Heliopolis. Nearby were the ruins of the ancient Egyptian Temple of Bubastis where they began to build their temple…

There on the island, in the beautiful island-delta region of Egypt, a high tower rose like a temple with the same dimensions but smaller and less ornate than the Temple in Jerusalem. Many writers have written how it was different in style to the Temple of Zerubabbel in Jerusalem. Yet, it was the archeologist, Ernest Martin, who also argued that the Temple of Herod was also built like a tower.

It was here, where the High Priest Onias V and his entourage of priests performed the ritual sacrificial services according to the laws of Torah. The Kohens or Levitical priests would be presided over by the authorized family of high priests from the House of Zadok, the high priest of King David. This region of Egypt came to be known as the Land of Onias, in Greek, Egyptian, Jewish and Roman sources.

It was Onias III who wrote a letter, whether real or spurious, seeking royal permission to build a temple from the Egyptian brother and sister, king-queen, Ptolemy VI Philometor and Cleopatra II. There was a reason for this action of Onias V, the son of the High Priest, Onias III, for in the aftermath of the attempted ransacking the treasury of the Jewish temple by Heliodorus, representing the Syrian Emperor Seleucus IV Pilopator, Heliodorus’s divine expulsion by heavenly apparitions, and the later “abomination of desolation” by Syrian ruler, Antiochus IV Epiphanes, Antiochus later invaded into Egypt.

In that military battle Antiochus IV lost to the Egyptian rulers, who were part Grecian, the brother and sister king-queen, Ptolemy VI Philometor and Cleopatra II. These events heralded the rise of the Jewish Hasmonean State.  

Onias V knew that Ptolemy VI Philometor and Cleopatra II were not friends of the Syrian king, Antiochus IV Epiphanes, who had desecrated the Temple of Zerubabbel. They no doubt looked more favorably upon the Jewish people.

Flavius Josephus – “When Onias saw that Judea was oppressed by the Macedonians (Antiochus Epiphanes IV) and their kings out of a desire to purchase to himself a memorial and eternal fame, he resolved to send to king Ptolemy and queen Cleopatra, to ask leave of them that he might build a temple in Egypt like that at Jerusalem, and might ordain Levites and priests out of their own stock.

The chief reason why he was desirous so to do, was, that he relied upon the prophet Isaiah, who lived above six hundred years before, and foretold that there certainly was to be a temple built to the Almighty G-d in Egypt by a man that was as Jew.” (Flavius Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, XIII, iii, 1) Josephus was emphatic that it was the prophecy of Isaiah that inspired Onias V, and that Onias V was person to fulfill this oracle of the L-rd.

Isaiah 19:19-20 – “In that day there will be an altar to the L-rd in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the L-rd at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the L-rd of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they will cry to the L-rd because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptian will know the L-rd in that day.”

For the next three generations, the descendants of Onias V, the high priest at the Jewish Temple at Leontopolis presided over the temple services. There in the tower-like temple that was built to imitate the temple in Jerusalem, the large population of Jews in Alexandria, Egypt went to worship. This Jewish temple did not have a menorah (candelabrum), but instead a large hanging lamp). It had a courtyard that was surrounded by a fortress like brick wall with stone gates. There, this family of priests of the House of Zadok would dwell, until they were recalled back to Jerusalem.”

The Jewish scholarship in biblical translations was well known in antiquity. In the late 3^rd century BCE, according to tradition, Ptolemy II Philadelphus, ruler of Egypt over a century earlier had commissioned the translation of the Hebrew Torah into Koine Greek language, the lingua franca of the Eastern Mediterranean region after the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BCE. 

According to traditions and legends, Ptolemy II Philadelphus commissioned seventy or seventy two Jewish scholars to translate the Torah from the ancient Hebrew script into Koine Greek called the Septuagint. This “Greek” Torah would then be included in the famous Library in Alexandria. According to the Megillah of the Babylonian Talmud:

Tractate Megillah, 9a-9b – “King Ptolemy once gathered 72 Elders. He placed them in 72 chambers, each of them in a separate one, without revealing to them why they were summoned. He entered each one's room and said: "Write for me the Torah of Moshe, your teacher." G-d put it in the heart of each one to translate identically as all the others did.”

It was Philo of Alexandria, who used this same translation of the Septuagint (Greek Torah) in his writings when he stated that six scholars from each of the 12 tribes of Israel were chosen. As the legends continued, each of the 72 Jewish translators translated the Torah into Greek in solitude and every one of the translations came out the same. Scholars today identify that the Greek represented the early Koine era by manuscripts datable to the early 2^nd century BCE. From this one translation came the foundation for the Old Latin, Slavonic, Syriac, Old Armenian, Old Georgian and Coptic versions of the Christian Old Testament.

This was the same, Philo the Jew, a Hellenistic Jewish biblical philosopher who lived in Alexandria in the year of the Alexandrian riots and pogroms against the Jews in 38 CE. It was he who led a Jewish delegation to meet in Rome with the Roman Emperor Caligula and effected the reestablishment of the legal residence in Alexandria of the Jewish people.

The legitimacy of the Jewish people and their relevancy to give us a vignette of history from the Egyptian Empire in the days of Jacob and Joseph to today is summed up in one thought; they were there when every empire of the world made their bid to be the rulers of the world. They all disappeared and today once again are reasserting their rights to rule the global “New World Order”. Yet, the G-d of Israel has proclaimed that in the end, they all will disappear and Messianic Age of the Messiah in Jerusalem will rule the whole world.

As we have seen the world is quickly polarizing between “The Jews” and the “Nations of the World”. In the end that will be only two choices; we are either for the Hebrew Israelites; both now part of the Jews of the house of Judah and the Lost Israelites of the house of Israel or we will be against them. This comes to one sobering conclusion, if you are a descendant of the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel and you despise your brothers, the Jews, you will be left cohabitating with peoples who will have a genetic hatred to you even though you think you want to be a part of them.

So today, the G-d is whistling you to come back to the brotherhood of Klal Yisra’el (All Israel). The Days of Awe - The Pathway of Repentance for the Lost Tribes of Israel

The Return of the Good Shepherd – the Maschiah Yisra’el (Messiah of Israel)

When the Shabbat or the Seventh-day Sabbath falls during the Ten Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the Haftarah (Half Torah) read on that day is called the Halftaras Vayeilech. This is a special and meaningful Haftarah because it gives special consideration to the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel. This special Shabbat is called the Sabbath of Repentance and also the Sabbath of Return and focuses on the three books of the “The Twelve Prophets”; Hosea, Joel, and Micah; Hosea 14:2-10; Joel 2:11-27; and Micah 7:18-20

This Haftarah follows the seventh and the last of the Haftaros of consolation, called the Haftaras Nitzavim that speaks of the ecstatic time of redemption or the final years of the throes of both the Israelite and the Jewish exiles. Here we are greeted with the words, when HaShem, the G-d of Israel proclaims, “For Zion’s sake, I will not be silent.”

Here we are faced with the emotions of the Divine that the days of exile are about over. This is emphasized in the Targum Yonasan to be a warning that as long as the 3700 years of exile of the Lost Northern Tribes of Israel, and the 1942 years of Jewish exile continue in their dispersal throughout the world, the world would not have a peaceful night of tranquility.

In other words, the 70 nations of the world are groaning and moaning in famine, pogroms, genocide, holocausts, climatic changes, progressive earthquake and volcanoes, and social disorder as the economic instability becomes not just national but global. This will continue until the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel and the Assimilated Jews in the Diaspora have returned from their exiles and become one in brotherhood in the Land of Israel.  

The History of the past and the History in our immediate future will bear out the rest of this prophecy in Isaiah 61:16-63:9.

Isaiah 62:1-5, 10 – “For Zion’s sake I will not be silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be still, until her righteousness emanates like bright light, and her salvation blazes like a torch. Nation will perceive your righteousness and all the kings your honor; and you will be called by a new name, which the mouth of HaShem will pronounce.

Then you will be crown of splendor in the hand of HaShem and a royal diadem in the palm of your G-d. It will not longer be said of you “Forsaken One,” and of your land it will no longer be said “Desolate Place”; for you will be called “My Desire is in Her,” and your land “Inhabited,” for HaShem’s desire is in you, and your land will become inhabited. As a young man takes a maiden in marriage, so will your children settle in you; and like a bridegroom’s rejoicing over his bride, so will your G-d rejoice over you…

Go through, go through the gates; clear the way for the people; pave the road; clear it of stones; raise a banner over the peoples. Behold, Hashem has announce to the end of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your Savior has come!” Behold, His reward is with Him, and his way is before Him. People will call them, ‘the Holy People, the redeemed of HaShem’; and you will be called, ‘Sought After,’ ‘The City not Forsaken.’”

Here in metaphoric language, the One G-d of Israel is described as a Warrior coming from a battle. His clothing is splattered with the blood of the Edomites, whose ancestral beginnings was one of the sons (grandsons) of Esau. At the end of this prophecy, it also states that the G-d of Israel called the “One Who was majestic in His raiment, Who was girded with His abundant strength” will join Klal Yisrael (All Israel), Jews and Israelites alike against the nations that will come against them. As stated:

Isaiah 63:1-8, 27 – “Who is this that comes from Edom (NATO/American forces), sullied of garment from Bozrah (port in Southern Iraq)? It is this One Who was majestic in His raiment, Who was girded with His abundant strength? – ‘It is I Who speaks in righteousness, abundantly able to save.’ Why the red stain on Your raiment? And Your garments – as one who tread in the wine vat!’

A Wine press have I trod my Myself, and from the nations not a man was with Me; I trod on them in My anger and trample them in My wrath, their lifeblood spurted out on My garments, and I soiled My raiment. For the day of vengeance is in My heart and the year of My redemption has come.

I looked, but there was no helper, I was astonished but there was no supporter. So My arm saved for Me, and My wrath supported Me. I trampled peoples in My anger and stupefied them with My wrath, and threw their lifeblood to the ground.’

The kindness of HaShem will I mention, the praises of HaShem, in accordance with al that HaShem has bestowed upon us, and the abundant goodness to the House of Israel, which He bestowed upon them in His compassion and in His abundant kindness. For He said, ‘Yet they are My people…

Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am HaShem, your G-d, and there is no other; and My people shall never be put to shame.” (Stone Edition TaNaKh)

Here we see unequivocally that the G-d of Israel joins both Jews and Israelites in their exile and during the centuries of their troubles, He was troubled. Though the Lost Israelites had lost their identity, they were drawn back to HaShem even through the apostate roots of Roman Christianity.  They were never abandoned but would someday be “returned home” to spiritual roots in Orthodox Judaism.  

Though many of the Jews also lost their identity in the apostasy of the Shabbatean heresy by assimilating into Islam or Roman Christianity, they also were never truly abandoned; for the One G-d of Israel was watching over them through the pogroms, holocausts, and Inquisitions and sharing in their grief. If one pathway of the long journey of redemption and restoration was unbearable, the G-d of Israel was preparing another pathway to the final journey into the Messianic Era. Always along this paths, with both the Lost Israelites and the Jews, He, as the One G-d of Israel was sharing the travails of their journey.

So why did the Haftaras Vayeilech follow the Haftaras Nitzavim? These days from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur are foretelling the future days of redemption when the Maschiah (Messiah) will come to redeem all of His people. It is interesting that in the Haftaras Vayeilech portion, the verses responding to the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel in the Book of Hosea are especially highlighted; for it is they, the Lost Tribers, who continued to abominated G-d’s Holy Name throughout all their generations.   

Hosea 14:2-10 – “Return, O Israel, to HaShem, your G-d, for you have stumbled through your iniquity. Take words with you and return to HaShem; say to Him, ‘Forgive every sin and accept goodness, and let our lips substitute for (the sacrifice of) bulls. Assyria cannot help us, we will not ride the horse, nor will we ever again call our handiwork ‘our god’ – only in You will the orphan find compassion.’

I shall heal their rebelliousness; I shall love them willingly, for My wrath will be withdrawn from them. I shall be like the dew to Israel, it will blossom like the rose and strike its roots like the (forest of) Lebanon. Its tender branches will spread, and its glory will be like an olive tree; its aroma will be like the Lebanon. Tranquil will be those who sit in its shade, they will refresh themselves like grain and blossom like the grapevine, their reputation will be like the wine of Lebanon.

Ephraim (will say), ‘What more need have (for idols? I will respond and look to him. I am like an ever-fresh cypress, from Me shall your fruit be found.

Whoever is wise will understand these, a discerning person will know them of the ways of HaShem are just – the righteous will walk in them; but sinners will stumble on them. (The Stone Edition of “The Chumash”)

So we read the original nine verses of Hosea that are universally highlighted in the services of all the synagogues around the world, for it is a loving call to repentance. Even though the Lost Ten Tribes have grievously sinned, the true neshama Israeli soul or their spiritual essence had remained good and pure. They were not hopelessly evil, and will someday be redeemed because HaShem, the G-d of Israel claimed that He will do it!  

The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel had stumbled into sin, for they followed what their eyes desired and what their emotions (heart) yearned for, and failed to daily recite the “Shema Yisrael” that their brothers the Orthodox Jews daily recited to remember the commands of G-d:

uz-char-tem et kawl mits-vot A-do-nai, va-a-si-tem o-tam,

 Even though the Lost Tribes of Israel sinned, their potential was always there for repentance. Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish Celebration of a New Year

During the medieval era, the Sages and rabbis began to comb all the historical records that were known to exist. Having extensive resources in the Middle East where most of these records of great antiquity were still in existent, the Jewish scholars reviewed the Biblical records left by the Jewish clerics surrounding the court of Ezra the Scribe as Prince Zerubabbel was rebuilding the city of Jerusalem and the Temple of Zerubabbel. 

The sages reviewed in extensive detail all the biblical records of the genealogies and personal life spans of the Jewish and Israelite ancestral forefathers. They, in a very literal historical sense matched these records as modern genealogical researchers would do today.

They compiling all the records from several rabbinic sources back to the “seven days of Creation” which they treated as seven literal days. At the same time, they knew full well that that these could have been “time eras” of long duration where the days were actually stages of creation.

But how did the Jewish people find meaning to historical time in their daily lives? When was their year to begin, and how were they to govern their agrarian season, their festival season and their beginning of their calendar year?

In the Torah, it mentions that the 1^st month of the Jewish calendar year would be the month of Nisan, the months of Passover. There is no mention of Rosh Hashanah as being the New Year, but rather puts it on the 7^th month, the month of Tishri.  Considering that the number 7 is an important number, the number of G-d then we are not surprised that every 7^th day, month or year had a special significance.

The Hebrews and later the Jewish people had a weekly calendar of 7 days, called the Sabbatical week of days. Then there came the rotation of the weekly Seventh day Shabbat (Sabbath) that came every 7^th day. The Jews then had the Sabbatical Week of Years which every 7 years for the past three thousand years since the days of Kings David and Solomon, they waited on the Shemittah 7^th Year for the revealing or the coming of the “Maschiah” (Messiah) called the Maschiah ben Dovid (Messiah son of David). At this time the “Land” was to get a year to rest and rejuvenate before entering another agrarian cycle of plantings and harvests.

The Torah does mention that the 1^st day of Tishri, the 7^th month of the Jewish calendar year was to be called a holy Day of Remembrance (Yom Hizikaron) and the Sounding of the Shofar (Yom Teruah). 

With all of these “beginnings”, the Hebrew time cycle began at Creation. This is when literal historical time began with the creation of the first ancestral human; Adam and Chavah (Eve).  According to the traditions from the dim and mystical past heralding from the mists of antiquity; that cosmic event called Creation began on the 1^st day of Tishri.

This was an epic event, where 7 literal days, or 7 epochs of time all began at Creation. Not only that, Creation began when G-d spoke it into existence while standing on Mount Moriah, where Abraham offered his son, Isaac as a sacrifice to G-d. Today this is where the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is located; the designated Solar Rex Capital of HaShem on Planet Earth.

According to the Mishna text in Rosh Hashanah 1:1, it lists actually four separate New Year Days in the Jewish calendar. They include:

1. The 1^st day of Nisan was the New Year day for Kings, for in spite of whatever day they took over the royal throne of Kings David and Solomon, their reign would begin its 2^nd year beginning on the next 1^st day of Nisan. The 1^st of Nisan was also the New Years Day for the Yearly Festival Season that marked also the beginning of the yearly spring harvest season. As such, Passover was the first festival to be celebrated of the festival year.
2. The 1^st of Tishri was the New Year for Years. The Sabbatical Week of Years began on this day, as well as the calculation of their Jubilee Year. The question to be asked here; even if the Jews were living in the land, would they have to wait until they had possession of all the capital city of Jerusalem before a Jubilee Year could be celebrated? If so, would 50 years from 1967 give us the next Jubilee Year as the year of 2017 and the coming of the Maschiah ben Dovid (Messiah son of David)?
3. The 1^st day of Elul was the New Year for the tithing of animals; and
4. The 15^th day of Shevat was to be the New Year for Trees. 

The conclusion; the G-d of Israel was, is and will be the G-d of all times, the Sovereign King of the Universe and the One G-d who controlled their destiny then and today. Even if other nations of the world had only one New Years Day, the G-d of history would give his “chosen people” four New Years.

What made the Jewish people so special was the fact that they have lived through and experienced every imperial culture that has dominated the history of the world. So we will review these ancient imperial epochs of history and show how the Jews participated in each of them; making them the only national peoples who have walked, talked, lived, raised children, and prayed to their G-d during all of these eras.

Even their imperial oppressors from every era from the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greece, Romans and Islam had to go back to the historical archives of the Jews and by using the Jewish histories were able to learn and recreate their own ancestral histories of past eras.

The Days of Awe: Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish knowledge of Time – Part Three

The Children of Israel in Route to the Mount called Sinai and the Covenanted Israel begins Historical Time

While the Christians habitually used the postscripts of AD and BC, the Jewish academics in the rabbinic yeshivas began to use the postscripts of CE and BCE two centuries ago in the early 19^th century. Later this trend was popularized by academics and scientists seeking a more neutral definition of time. Over the course of the last two thousand years, we have seen the imprint of those who whose ancestors were first given the conceptual spiritual ideas by the G-d of Israel to the ancient Hebrews at the mount called Sinai.  These ancient beliefs and traditions came from the singular Source of HaShem Himself as He met personally with the Children of Israel hidden and shielded by the fiery volcano at Mount Horeb.

Today, the fragmentation of those ancient laws and traditions were represented over the years by the covenanted Jews of the house of Judah and the covenanted rejecting Ancient Israelites representing the Ten Northern Tribes who rebelled from their sacred traditions instituted by the One G-d of Israel and given to them as the Torah.  

The Jewish people, like all other peoples, counted their years by the years of the reigns of their kings. Yet, their spiritual reference point early began by counting their national existence from their epic escape from oppression in Egypt called the “Great Exodus”.  By the beginning of the Roman Christian Era that began three centuries after the days of “The Nazarene” the Jews already had been counting their ancient history for over fourteen hundred years.  

What we have noticed is that there is a wide discrepancy to even the counting of the historical years since the Great Exodus from Egypt. We first see the progressively discredited “Short Term Egyptian Chronologists” giving us the date of the Exodus and the entrance of the Children of Israel into Canaan as being in the 12^th century BCE.

Then we have the highly acclaimed Rabbi Halevy Donin who wrote the seminal book titled, “To be A Jew; a Guide to Jewish Observance in Contemporary Life” that the date of the Exodus was about 1350 BCE. Other respected scholars give the dates of the Exodus closer to 3,450 years ago or 1457 BCE. And then there is the respected Australian Astronomer Barry Setterfield’s correlating historical time with the geological era and atomic clock conversions to orbital time and thereby dated the Exodus to 1557 BCE plus or minus 6 years. The importance of it all is that the beginning of the National Consciousness of the Hebrew Children of Israel now reflected in the life of the Jewish people began with the Exodus and was sealed by their covenant with the G-d of Israel at the Mount called Sinai as early as 1550 to 1600 BCE.  

With these considerations, by the time of the 1^st century Temple of Herod era, the Jewish religious and national consciousness had already coalesced 1450 to 1,600 years earlier. With the destruction of the King Herod’s Temple, the largest and most opulent temple in the Roman Empire in 70 CE, the Jewish people seriously began to develop a chronology that would have universal significance. Here began the Jewish calendar based upon the years taken in sequence since the Creation of Adam, created in the Image of G-d and the special relationship between G-d, Adam and Chavah (Eve) before the “fall” that ended their lives as spiritual angels as they devolved into a lower state of existence and began the true beginning of historical literal sequential time.

The World of the Divine and the Creation of Adam (Man) in Mystical Judaism

The World of the Divine as the Merkhabah Throne envisioned by the Prophet Ezekiel 

One of the greatest goals of the Sages of Judah was to be blessed with the comprehension of the Divine.  Here we beginwith the comprehension of the four universes or “worlds” of creation. Here is also where we, as the Lost Israelites have to retrain our Lost Israelite brains to remember our ancient heritage of Torah that was given to us back at the mount called Sinai.

 To comprehend the totality of this all; there is a World of the Divine where Infinite Source of Energy called the “Ein Sof” resides. He is, was, and will be the Infinite Unknowable G-d or the Holy One of Israel. From this Energy Force Field comes the sustenance of all other living beings from the exalted Archangels that surround the Throne of G-d to the creatures and microorganism on our Planet Earth or any other planet in our universe.  

The concept of “There is No G-d” or “G-d is an Absentee G-d” is a form of rebellion that states that we refuse to comprehend that G-d of far greater than anything in which our brain could comprehend. It refuses to conceive that He is the philosophical foundation and the true reality of all Torah observation.

If G-d was not interacting with every moment of the existence of every planet, universe, or any of the creatures who dwell therein, He would not be the Sovereign G-d of the Universe. If the electrons from the emanations of G-d that are freely given by Him for our continuous existence were to cease to flow through the ether of the universe, we and all other living organism on Planet Earth would cease to exist. Even other creations such as the Angelic Beings in the World of the Spirits, or the “Sons of G-d” living on other planets as spoken about in the Book of Job are sustained by the creative power of the Divine.

As HaShem, the G-d of Creation is a G-d of Infinite Energy and resides in the highest of all the energy realms, so also rocks, fossils, and trees living in the lowest energy realms are sustained by Him, to suit His creative purpose. Yes, they are still there because the G-d willed it to be and His creative energies sustain them.  

Inherent in the comprehension of these wonderful universes of creation is the comprehension that HaShem, the Creator of the Universes is an Incomprehensible Being of Unfathomable Energy. In a way, we can look at each of these worlds or universes as different manifestations of the Divine Reality. It all begins as the Keter that is the “Brain Center” of the Powerhouse of G-d and the Divine Throne that governs the entire universes.

The Keter of the "King" of the Universe begins in the highest Energy Field of all Existence. Here is the Throne; the Dwelling Place of the Divine sitting upon His throne in the World of Atzilut.  It is an Energy Field which we cannot comprehend, where the Speed of Light of that Supernal Light Source is beyond our capacity to calculate, test or comprehend. It is easier to state that it is “Infinite Energy”.

As Rabbi Chayim Vital writing in the name of Ari, the famed Rabbi Isaac Luria in Likutey Torah Haazinu declared:

R. Chayim Vital – “G-d created four main universes – atzilut, beriah, yetzirah, and asiyah. To join all of them together, He created Man (Adam), for Man contains within himself [aspects of] all the universes. G-d therefore said to all the universes, “Let us make Man in our image.”

For the universe of beriah was to give Man his neshamah (divine soul-breath); (the universe of) yetzirah was to give him his ruach [vivifying spirit), which is the portion of the chayot-angels (these were the four “living creatures under the throne chariot of G-d with four heads each and four wings each)…; the (universe of) asiyah gave him (Adam) his nefesh (indwelling soul).

After this, He Himself gave him His portion [from the level of atzilut (world of the divine)], as it is written, “He breathed into his nostril the nishmat chayim (breath of life)” …In sum, when Man refines himself and walks in the ways of the Creator, he binds all the universes together…” 

This is an awesome statement for it portrays the unique role that Adam and all his descendants were to have played for Eternity if Adam had not made the “mistake” of eating of the wrong tree in the Garden. Yet, this is also the unique role that the descendants of Adam will play throughout all the historical era of man. They are now living in a “world of sin” yet they will be participants in the Tikum, the process of “setting things right” or “correcting” that which was broken that included the process for the restoration of the fragmented universe and bringing it back to the its state of perfection. When this act of restoration occurs and is completed, the final act of the “Drama of the Ages” to eliminate sin from the universes will be complete.

 

Adam and Chavah created in the Garden of Eden as “Light Beings”

The exalted level of existence in which Adam and Chavah (Eve) were involved in the creation of the world is really above our comprehension. According to Jewish traditions, Adam and Chavah were both angelic beings sent into the Garden for the awesome role of binding together all the four universes of creation.

According to the Talmud, they were capable with their immense capacity to visualize the vast reaches of the interactions between the Divine and the angelic hosts that were taking place to sustain and support the universes, inhabit the planets, and other realms where the “sons of G-d dwelled”. Adam and Chavah were able to observe the “Supernal Light” that were the emanations or the energies of G-d that flowed “from one end of the universe to the other”.

In other words, Adam and Eve were vital participants in the economy of the universes from the highest dimensions all the way down to the physical world on Planet Earth. Not only that, within the hidden traditions of the Kabbalah Adam and Chavah was capable of flying like the angels into inter-dimensional travel between third and forth dimensions and beyond.  

The molecular structure of reality was a lot difference within the World of Formation in which Adam and Eve were created. Their “bodies of light” were not the same as the physical carbon based bodies in which we live in today. When they “sinned” and later were clothed in “skin”, this was the act of the Divine to lower their “angelic beings” into the third-dimension world of “human beings” in which we now live (and are now trapped) until that day when we will be restored to the life as “Light Being” and restored to the fullness of the “Image of G-d” which we were created to have been.

The whole concept of the corrupting element of blood today in halakhic Jewish kashrut food comes from the fact that we are shielded from the “Glory of G-d” and as such are shielded from the life-transforming Supernal Light of the Divine that destroys the wicked while at the same time transforms and “saves” the righteous. This suggests that “blood” surging through the arteries and veins of Adam and Chavah (Eve) while living as “Light Beings” in the World of Formation, was exposed to the immensely higher energy fields of G-d’s Presence and as such they in turn were irradiated, transformed and then reflected the “Glory of the Divine” that was illuminating them from within.

This force field could effectively transform the lower energy hemoglobin, the main cellular constituent of blood that exists almost to the point of coagulation or congealing into an infusion of higher and intense energy. When it was energized and irradiated by the higher energy streaming at them by the Master of the Universe, it glowed as it flowed through their arteries and veins.  As the hemoglobin was exposed to the intense energy of the Divine, it was energized into an effulgent glow as it was irradiated by the divine energy and the “Glory of G-d” and then became also the “glory of man”; the most amazing creature of G-d’s creation.

The Ten Sefirot of the Kabbalah

This concept is validated by the consideration that ice, when exposed to the higher energy of warmth turns to liquid water and then later disappears as it is energized into steam as it continues to warm and achieve a higher state of energy. That which was rock hard as ice now disappears into a different form of matter and transformed into a higher energy state as it appears to move into another dimension invisible to our senses.

So we can begin to comprehend how higher energy beings called angels can move in and out of our dimension. Taking this thought into consideration, according to Jewish traditions, Adam and Chavah were created as “angelic beings” in the Garden of Eden. It was their role to be custodians of all animal life on Planet Earth, a role in which they could communicate with every species of animals, birds, fish and land creatures that walked, many of which can relate and communicate with man today. Yet this was not their most august role in which they were to perform there in Gan Eden.

It is stated by the sages of Judah that the Supernal Light of HaShem flowed “from one end of the universe to the other.” The immense energy of the Light of the Ein Sof flowed from the highest spiritual dimension all the way down to the physical world of mountainous rock, shady glens, roaring waterfalls, pristine lakes, and meandering streams. The particles of G-d in the form of the electron stream that flows through all life from the heavens to earth were within the capacity of the sensory system of Adam and Chavah to watch, behold and to comprehend.

Even the Crystals forming the Matrix of Earth reflect the Glory of G-d

As their physical composition was vastly different than our carbon based bodies today, their molecular structure was different for the matrix of their beings were spiritual and their bodies, not physical as we can see and visualize, constituted pure “light” They were “Light Beings”, the most magnificent of all G-d’s creations.

In their august state, Adam and Chavah had the mental capacity to connect to the Source of Life for when they closed their eyes, they had the capacity to fly and to travel into other dimensions and to other worlds. They could communicate by extra-sensory perception, observe images millions of miles away, and connect directly with the Divine reality that flowed through the entire universe within the electron stream.

If the Supernal Light of G-d was shining “from one end of the universe to the other, then Adam and Chavah were capable of observing this Light as it flowed throughout the entire universes. They truly were universal beings, created in the “Image of G-d” to hold together all the four created universes to each other. As written in the Zohar in Raya Mehemna Pinchas (3:238a)”:

Zohar Raya Mehemna – “Elokim said; Let us make Man in our image and in our likeness, and let him rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the livestock animals and all the earth, and every land animal that walks the earth. Elokim thus created Man in His images, in the image of Elokim He created him male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:26-27).

After G-d completed every detail of creation, He said to them, “I have one more creature to make who will be a partner with all of us. All of you join together so that you can give him something of yourselves. I too will join you to give him (Adam) a portion of Myself.” This is the meaning of “Let us make Man in our image and in our likeness…)”

These same concepts of hidden divine reality have been elaborated within the writings of the sages of Judah in the Tiukuney Zoyhar Chadash 89a, Gra edition 48a, plus Zohar Chadash 32c, 33a, 58B; and Etz Chayim 26:1.

The role of Adam in the Divine Creation was hinted about in the Zohar Naso which reads with these words:

Idra Rabba – “Above the firmament…like the appearance of sapphire, was the likeness of a Throne; and over the likeness of the Throne, was a likeness that was like the appearance of a Man, on it from above.” (Ezekiel 1:26)

Compare this with the writings of Rabbi Abba, who opens his discourses with these words:

Through the intellect of his mind, Adam could participate with his “extra-sensory receptors” and with the two emanations that HaShem holds closely to His own being, Binah or “Understanding” and Hokhmah or “Wisdom”, these were available only with this divinely created creature called Adam, which within his matrix carried polar opposites binary beings; male and female.

Adam’s upper body, the arms and thorax, dwelled in the angelic spirit world of “Spirit Beings” and there Adam participated in assisting G-d with the running of the universe with the spiritual beings called “angels”.  Yet at the same time, Adam walked on Planet Earth and communicated with all the animals, bird and fishes of G-d’s creation. This was the universe in which Adam and Chavah lived, participated and observed. Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu: Is He a “messiah” for the Jews as Cyrus was in the days of Babylon?

There is probably no other Israeli Statesman who is as articulate and skilled in the communication to the American people and the world as the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. These attributes have been recognized since his youth.  It was the reason that he was early on in his life identified by the American State Department as an ally of the United States and groomed to be an Israeli leader.

Netanyahu’s skill at oratory and his unflinching and unyielding hammering down a strategic nuance or point of reference has even made his political opponents yield to the fact that Netanyahu has been and still is Israel’s most valiant spokesman for Israel.

Cyrus was chosen by G-d to become the chess master to destroy the invincible power of the Babylonian Empire and the topple the impregnable city of Babylon so that HaShem’s people, the Jewish people, could return home after their 70 years in exile and rebuilt the Temple of Zerubabbel. So Netanyahu today may also be such a “chosen one”.

To the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel living in America and Europe, take hope!  The G-d of Israel as proclaimed in Ezekiel 36, will not redeem you and take you from the lands of your dwelling today, and bring you back to the land of your forefathers in Shomron, Galilee, Lebanon and Syria today, unless He will also be protecting you with the palms of His divine hand.

The Eternal One of Israel foretold to the Jews through the Prophet Isaiah during the days of Sennacherib the King of Assyria, years before the days of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon that Cyrus the Great would be His messiah, His “anointed one”. He counseled them that the city of Babylon would not have to be destroyed, the walls would not have to be breached, but rather the double doors of Babylon would be opened to Cyrus and his troops and that the gates to the mighty Euphrates River would not be shut so that his army would be able to secure the city without the loss of one drop of Jewish blood.

So also Benyamin Netanyahu may be that same “messiah” and “anointed one” who will bring the Jewish people in the Land of Israel plus all the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel who the Divine One also brought to the land of their forefathers, through the guela (time of redemption) when the Maschiah ben Dovid (Messiah son of David) will come and rule over His people.

With the deciding vote in November for who will be the 45^th President may virtually hang on the swing vote of the Jewish American voters, the die is being cast for both America and Israel. There is a threat that Israel has let its enemies know that, so far, has kept the next war in check. In Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and Iran, they have decided not to order the missile war ignited because Israel has threatened a kamikaze nuclear ending. Any rational person knows that Damascus cannot be destroyed by an Israeli nuke. It would be the same as nuking yourself.

Located just 10 miles from the Golan Heights, if you destroy Damascus, and no matter which way the wind was blowing, the Golan and upper Galilee would be irradiated within minutes. The same goes for Sidon, Tyre, and Gaza. If you start the next war, we will lose, but you're going down with us. We will nuke you to oblivion, so don't do anything stupid.”

So Israel is at one of those existential moments, go alone and maybe without the protecting hand of the G-d of Israel or to “call upon the Name of the L-rd” as the Master of the Legions of the heavenly forces has asked over and over in the TaNaKh, “call upon Me and I will answer”.

In a series of newspapers, advertising and billboards, the “Soon Coming of Mashiach” is being announced in the Land of Israel. This event alone is palpable, not whether it will happen now, but that the Jewish soul is being awakened by the Almighty One of Israel and the Israeli people are responding to the facts that the days of the Messiah (Mashiach) have now arrived. The Jewish People’s “Right to Live and the Right to Settle” in the Land of Israel

Destination Yisra’el – “Inherent in all the annals of history is the recognition of the ebb and flow of history as peoples come and go and nations rise and fall.  But what is unique, there is only one people, who believed that upon the recognition by their Supreme Being that they were given not just a mandate but a obligation to finish out earth’s history with a return and resettlement to a land, that when they lived there flourished and was called a “land flowing with milk and honey” yet when they were gone, lay desolate, wasted and rejected by all nations, and all peoples.

Such is the dialogue, many times bloody dialogue between the Jewish State of Israel and her neighbors. Recently there was a mandate given to an Israeli committee chaired by Retired Supreme Court Justice Edmond Levy to reexamine all the international laws over the decades of the legality of the Jewish people to build new homes, establish new cities, and develop new land for agriculture and husbandry used to feed, support, and sustain a population of people in the the Land of Israel; who once lived there, then were cast out by wars, and now return to participate in rebuilding a land that no  one else wanted.

And then on the eve of the 4^th of July, 2012, the National Holiday of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America, this Israeli committee declared that the Jewish Israeli citizens do have a legal right to settle in what are called the “Settlements” of Shomron and Judea. This was the former lands where the Northern Kingdom of Israel once ruled in Samaria and the former Southern Kingdom of Judah once reigned in Judea.

These reports have been widely reported around the world, and for the process of archiving this debate on Destination Yisra’el, will print this article about this critical debate during an era in which the existence of the world community of nations appears also to be in jeopardy. Anyone who asserts that it is illegal for a Jew to live in Judea and Samaria just because he is a Jew, is in fact advocating a concept that is disturbingly reminiscent of the 'Judenrein' policies of Nazi Germany banning Jews from certain spheres of life for no other reason than that they were Jews. The Jewish villages in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza district are there as of right and are there to stay.

"The right of Jews to settle in the Land of Israel was also recognized in the League of Nations 'Mandate for Palestine' which stressed 'the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and ... the grounds for reconstituting' - I repeat, reconstituting 'their national home in that country.'

"The Mandatory Power was also entrusted with the duty to encourage 'close settlement by Jews on the land, including state lands and waste lands not required for public purposes.'"

As first reported by Israel Hayom last Tuesday, Retired Supreme Court Justice Edmond Levy, who headed a committee tasked with examining the legality of Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria, declared last Tuesday that Israelis have a legal right to settle the area.

“According to international law, Israelis have a legal right to settle all of Judea and Samaria, or at the very least the lands that Israel controls under agreements with the Palestinian Authority,” Levy stated. “Therefore, the establishment of Jewish settlements [in Judea and Samaria] is, in itself, not illegal.”

The committee was established by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an effort to determine and cement the legal status of the outposts in Judea and Samaria, with an emphasis on communities that were not built on privately owned Palestinian land, whose status was still in doubt due to legal bureaucracy.

According to Levy, the report’s basic conclusion is that from an international law perspective, “the laws of ‘occupation’ do not apply to the unique historic and legal circumstances surrounding Israel’s decades-long presence in Judea and Samaria.”

“Likewise,” the report said, “the Fourth Geneva Convention [relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War] on the transfer of populations does not apply, and wasn’t intended to apply to communities such as those established by Israel in Judea and Samaria.”

Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) welcomed Levy’s findings, and said that he plans to ask the prime minister to convene the Ministerial Committee on Settlement Construction to discuss the report and devise a policy that would reflect its findings, Israel Radio reported. “The report rectifies an unjust situation – both historically and legally – that was perpetuated by the skewed political views that governed Sasson’s outpost report,” Erdan told the radio station.

Upon its establishment in February, the committee headed by Levi was charged with reviewing a 2005 government report by former State Prosecutor’s Office official Talia Sasson, which found that several dozen outposts had been built not only without state approval but on privately held Palestinian land. Officials said at the time that the report needed to be reviewed because Sasson, who later entered politics on the left-wing Meretz party list, may not have been entirely objective.

Head of the Yesha council [the council of the Jewish communities of Judea, Samaria and until 2005 in the Gaza Strip] Danny Dayan told Israel Radio that Levy’s report reflects a “thorough, exhaustive and serious legal document that stands in stark contrast to the report compiled by Talya Sasson in 2005; His recommendations should be read thoroughly and implemented in an orderly fashion.”

Sasson dismissed Levy’s assertion Monday, telling Israel Radio that the Israeli High Court of Justice is the only body vested with the authority to rule on the legal status of Judea and Samaria and that Levy’s report ignores the court’s ruling that declared some of the outposts illegal.

Science and Technology Minister Daniel Hershkowitz (New National Religious Party) echoed Erdan’s request to convene the ministerial forum and said he would like to see the report adopted without delay. He said that Sasson’s report was political and that the new report should be treated as a binding document.

The committee’s recommendations include the following: The government must clarify its position on the issue of Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria to prevent varying interpretations of its policy; a new community will only be built after the government or an authorized ministerial committee has approved it; the expansion of a community outside the bounds of its authorized jurisdiction must first be approved by the defense minister or a ministerial committee on settlements, in coordination with the prime minister.

On the other hand, the committee declared that the encouragement provided by the government to the settlement enterprise constituted authorization. According to the committee, communities that were built on land owned by the state, or privately owned Israeli land, with the help of government bodies could not be classified as “unauthorized” due to the absence of an official government decision to authorize them. The very assistance provided by the government in their establishment constitutes implicit authorization.

Reacting to the report, the Association of Civil Rights in Israel said Monday that Levy’s conclusions were “unfounded and baseless in international law, and their aim is to legitimize and deepen the injustice perpetrated by successive Israeli governments in the Territories over the past 45 years. The settlement enterprise has created a wrongful situation in which the human rights of the Palestinians are totally subsumed in favor of the interests of settlers.”

“No committee has the ability to change international law, whose main tenet is defence of human rights,” ACRI said in a statement. “Since 1967, successive Israeli governments have held fast to the clear position that the Territories are held in belligerent occupation, that is, military occupation, and are thus not part of the State of Israel. In this matter there is complete agreement between the State of Israel and the international community. Reneging on this position, by a committee appointed by the prime minister, is scandalous,” ACRI added.

Alan Baker, who served in the past as the chief legal counsel to the Foreign Ministry and sat on the committee, dismissed the allegations that Levy’s report is politically biased, telling Israel Radio that the committee members took into account international law, Jordanian law (which is still partially enforced in Judea and Samaria owing to Jordan’s almost 20-year rule) and Israeli law.

Baker said there are no grounds to the claim that settlement construction in Judea and Samaria is illegal, so long as it is not carried out on Palestinian land without authorization and that the necessary construction permits are issued. Baker believes the lack of clarity over property rights in Judea and Samaria and related petitions by alleged landowners prompted the government to commission the report. He said that demolition of structures in those areas should be subject to legal review to avoid a situation in which a “Civil Administration official or clerk decides to do so.”

The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel, a group of activists and jurists, said of the report that “The Levy Committee frees the country from the horror show that was produced by jurists who had abused the interpretation of international law and tailored it to their political views. This was the first such instance where a serious committee headed by a [former] Supreme Court justice engages in a brainstorming session and issues a meaningful report that applies the proper interpretation to the law and points to the distortions created by the justice system. We implore the prime minister to embrace the report and have it serve as a guiding principle in government policymaking.”

On 28th August, the case of the fate of the Jewish town of Migron will be presented to the Supreme Court of Israel.  It will decide the fate of 300 Jewish souls living in Migron a thriving community just 14 kilometres (6 miles) north of Yerushalayim. The town itself was developed by the State of Israel under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s leadership for it was located on a very strategic location overlooking Route number 60 in Binyamin. It was located on Government sanctioned land given to the community by the then PM Ariel Sharon in 1999.

Attorney Howard Grief has testified that "Migron was .....never private Arab property".

This video titled "Let Migron Stay!" is a plea to both PM Binyamin Netanyahu and Chief Justice Asher Grunis to leave Migron alone. Today it is a testimony of one town that continues to "peacefully co-existence" with its Arab neighbors. Here is a town that has become a role model for other parts of Eretz Yisrael.

Today, the State of Israel is in an existential fight for the survival of its people and state. All around the world prayers by Lost Israelites and Jews should be ascending to the Throne of the Almighty or He alone will determine the destiny of Israel and our lives. He counseled the ancient Hebrews that this land was irrevocably theirs and their destiny to keep it was conditioned on whether they were willing to never to give it away.

Whether we can have quick closure to the Guela, the redemption of Klal Yisrael (All Israel), or that catastrophes will continue to engulf the world, will depend not only upon the response of the Jews living in the Land of Israel but also the reawakening Lost Israelites all around the world plus the Jews of the diaspora to support the rightful existence of the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to live in the land of their forefathers to support every effort to retain every square inch of the covenanted Land of Israel. When war begins, 700,000 Left Coast residents will flee to the Shomron, and this ugly debate will cease forever.”
