“Theologians of the Holocaust” – Jews and Lost Israelites are One in the Same!

So it was seventy-four years ago, on November 9-10, 1938 that a Nazi pogrom against the Jewish people throughout Germany and Austria began under the direction of the Nazi SA paramilitary.  While the German authorities looked the other way, Jewish owned buildings, stores and synagogues were ransacked, torched and destroyed. This included also the famous Fasanenstrasse Synagogue in Berlin.

This evening of infamy became later known as Kristallnacht (“Night of Broken Glass”) in memory of the evening when the shattered windowpanes on the Jewish businesses lay scattered across the German streets of Berlin. In a well organized outburst of violence, it appeared to be precipitated by a November 7 assassination of a German diplomat, Ernst com Rath in Paris by a Jewish teenager, Herschel Grynszpan, whose parents alongside another 17,000 Polish Jews were expelled from the Reich.

When the Nazis unleashed a wave of pogroms against Germany's Jews on November 9, 1938, in the space of a few hours, the evening turned violent. The Jewish community in Berlin was devastating as thousands of Jewish businesses, homes and synagogues were damaged or destroyed. The debris of thousands of shattered store windowpanes carpeted the German streets thus leaving behind the name, Kristallnacht ("Night of Broken Glass").  

With 91 deaths at the hands of the German storm troopers, for the first time in the modern era, the Jewish people were arrested and rounded up in mass and transported to the Nazi concentration camps. Thirty thousand Jews were transported to Buchenwald, Dachau and Sachsenhausen alone. Those that were released were those who were able to emigrate and willing to transfer their homes, businesses and properties to their “Aryan” captors.

The Fasanenstrasse Synagogue in Berlin was completed on August 26, 1912. I was located in the affluence neighborhoods close to the Berlin Stadtbahn and the Zoo Station. Only twenty four years after its construction, the synagogue was forced to close in 1936 by the Nazi authorities. In fact, it was the Nazi Minister Joseph Goebbels who personally ordered the destruction of the Fasanenstrasse Synagogue on the night of the Kristallnacht pogrom on November 9, 1938.

Large enough to accommodate 1,720 worshippers, this Neo-Romanesque style synagogue was highlighted with notable Byzantine construction elements. It boasted a richly decorated frontage along the front of this august Jewish temple. It was a powerful statement of what was believed to be the height of the Jewish emancipation within the German Empire. Even the German Emperor Wilhelm II came to present the synagogue with a richly adorned marriage hall that was adorned within with Maiolica tiles which his factories produced.

As Ilse Stanley, the daughter of Magnus Davidsohn wrote in her book called “The Unforgotten” when visiting this temple on its grand opening day, she documented the criticism of Kurt Tucholsky against the German Jew’s voluntary assimilation into German society. Their emancipation led them to forget the awareness that the “ruling class of Germany had nothing but contempt for them.”

And so on that eve of Kristallnacht, the SA troopers stormed the building, destroyed and shattered the entire interior and then ignited a fire from fuel from a nearby filling station. The fire department spent less effort to save the synagogue, but rather sought to prevent the flames from engulfing the nearby houses in the neighborhood.

One of the darkest secrets of the Protestant Reformation was the fact that Jews were slaughtered side by side with the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel during the Dark Ages of Papal Christianity. It was this unfathomable “crime against humanity” that began with the rise of consolidated imperial power of King Charles the Great known in history as Charlemagne. It did not end until the Papal Inquisition met its final fate. As Destination Yisra’el wrote about this later era of central Europe in the blog titled, “King Henry VIII, the Catholic Inquisition and the Puritan’s Visigothic Lost Israelite Ancestors; the Cathars, the Huguenots, and the Waldensians”:

Destination Yisra’el – “In the 12^th to the 16^th century, the Cathars and later the Huguenots and the Waldensians were hunted by the Roman Catholic Inquisition in Southern France. By the tens of thousands were captured and destroyed by the most ignoble of means, by the Catholic Inquisition. They again morphed again with the arrival of the great Protestant reformer, John Calvin, who for the first time, spoke to his audiences of the Lost Tribes of Israel, that they had divine destiny. And that they did for the prophecy as given by Hashem, the G-d of Israel to Ezekiel the prophet in chapter 36, was to be fulfilled centuries later as their prophecy of destiny…

Yes, the Cathars and the Waldensians plus all the surrounding sects were corrupted in part in their concepts of the true Torah teachings given to the Hebrews at the mount called Sinai. For those critics who wish to demean the testimony of the lives of which these people’s lived, and the G-d in which they served, have only to remember, that the apostasies in which they adhered were but remnants of the apostasies in which they adhered to as the worshippers of Baal and the “Golden Calf” worship of the ancient Northern Tribes of Israel.

Yet their biblical apostasies paled in terms of the corruption and the apostasy of the ancient Roman Christian Church, called in Revelation the “mother of harlots”. Most critics of the Waldensians today, would rather adhere to the apostasy of the ancient Church of Rome, and denounce the lives of the Lost Tribes of Israel, who as the Cathars and the Waldensians lived and gave their lived in testimony of the G-d of their forefather’s in which they remembered only in part…

It took the Catholic massacres of the Waldensians who lived across the English Channel in Provence, France in 1545 who began to polarize the Europeans between those who would follow the path of Edomite Rome and the Northern European Lost Israelites. As early as 1631, the Protest-ant scholars began to regard the Waldensians as the early forerunners (13^th century) of the Protest-ant Reformation, a mantle that would later be given to John Wycliffe (14^th century) and Jan Hus (15^th century). They were all directly targeted by the Roman Catholic Church, and the latter burned at the stake.

The facts that the Reformation took its greatest hold upon the minds and souls of the populous living in Northern Europe, suggests that these were the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel. Somehow in their “collective mind”, they knew that they were different when they arrived in the virgin forests of Northern Gaul, has been the testimony of numerous antiquarian researchers. These archives have then have been collected and collaborated with modern Jewish historical scholarship such as Yair Davidiy with Brit-Am, whose research on the Lost Tribes of Israel has been intensively documented and published in numerous historical volumes, that the nations of Northern Europe were colonized by the Lost Tribes of Israel known in history as the Celtic, Anglo-Saxons, the Vikings, along with the incoming waves of the Germanic tribes called the Ostrogoths, Visigoths, and the Vandals.

Even today, the Mechoqeck of Judah, the judiciary trained Jewish rabbanim, have now taken up the mantle of historically validating the truth and verity of the return of the Lost Tribes of Israel. This testimony is especially affirmed by the Jerusalem based Rabbi Avraham Feld, founder of Kol Ha’Tor, based upon the analysis and affirmation of the extensive documentation left by the ancient Hebrew prophets; that it is a biblical mandate that the Northern Kingdom of Israel will be redeemed and restored at the time of the end. It is also a biblical mandate that the descendants of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, that were exiled, will, at the end of days be restored and redeemed.

It is amazing that these Protest-ant reformers who were viewed as rightist seditionists in medieval Catholic Europe, in the same “mantra” are today attacking with the international press the Orthodox “settlers” who are living upon the same land inhabited by the Northern Ten Tribes of Israel. It is these Jewish patriot youth who today guarding and protecting the tribal homeland of the Jews from the House of Judah in “Judea”. Yet, they are also protecting the tribal lands of the House of Joseph in Shomron (Samaria) that were given with the tribal blessing by Jacob to the descendants of Joseph’s youngest son, Ephraim. Both groups, four hundred and fifty years apart, had a dominate sense of “destiny” and “chosenness” and both of them believed in the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Today, Protestant Christians are no longer Protest-ants. The foundation of the United States would never have been laid had its original colonists, the Pilgrims and the Puritans nor its founding fathers had not come from the same indigenous stock of people endued with a divine destiny as the earlier Cathars and later the Huguenots and the Waldensians that were hunted and massacred by the Roman Catholic Inquisitors in Southern France.”

As our minds are sobered by the implications of the Nazi eve called Kristallnacht ("Night of Broken Glass"), our eyes are also opened by the words of the eminent Rabbi Avraham Feld in Jerusalem who assisted in the founding of Kol Ha’Tor to assist in the opening of the redemption for the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. He gives at this time a historical enlightenment of that evening called Kristallnacht and its truest meaning to the Jews of the House of Judah and their “Lost Brothers”, the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel:

Rabbi Avraham Feld – “Here we have an opportunity to pause and contemplate the miracle of Judah’s survival!  10-Israel should take a moment of silence; another moment for prayer and still another to do something productive for the Restoration in this week when we remember Kristal Nacht (Crystal Night).

In the year 800 of the Common Era, a Pope made Charlemagne (‘sword of the Church’) the 73rd Emperor of the Fourth World Empire. He quickly went about the business of killing Saxons (10 Tribers, Israelites). He did not stop till they were Roman Catholics.

Hitler was an admirer of his. In fact Hitler’s hilltop enclave, the Eagle’s Nest, overlooked Untersburg; burial place of Charlemagne!

The elite Nazi leadership believed that England et al were deeply connected to Jewish roots and with their victory would be gradually destroyed!  Often millions of Ephraimites, Josephites, in brief 10-Israelites have been killed alongside Judah, unbeknown to either of their joint destiny! Remembrance is all about Redemption

Moses said, “Let My people go."  We say, “Let our people know!”

May 10-Israel soon remember and know who they are.  May Judah remember, recognize and know Ephraim.

Together, no Kristal Nacht could ever happen again!”

Parashat Bereishit: Genesis 1:1 –6:8:

Parashat Name Meaning: “In the Beginning”

Haftarah: Isaiah 42:5 - 43:10

The Festive season is past.  The New Year now starts in earnest.  Personal introspection made, new decisions taken, slates cleared after Teshuva (repentance) – and, aptly, AFTER the Feasts, the new year’s Torah Reading Cycle begins all over for the next 52 weeks. 5773 times before, this yearly cycle has been restarted by followers of the Torah delving for the life-giving guidance of Torah.

Meaning of the Jewish Year 5773

 The Hebrew letters depicting this year, is Ayin, Ghimmel (Numerical value 70 and 3). What do we learn from this? According to a summary by Rabbi Jason Sobel, ‘ayin’ means ‘eyes’.  This decade of the 70’s may turn out to be a decade of “seeing in abundance; revelation; proper perspective.” This would bring with it the increase of wisdom and revelation. The numerical value 73 also refers to ‘wisdom’.

Ayin also means ‘fountain’.  A fountain brings life (water) to an area. This is especially valuable in barren areas, as in the desert, where it forms an Oasis with ponds and streams.  Psalms 126, a Song of Ascents, speaks of “When HaShem will return the captivity of Zion – which refers to the Return from Exile – the Times that we have now entered. It continues: “Return our Captivity like streams in the desert.”  The coming year thus holds the promise of the Return from Captivity.  We see it all over.  The 2-House Restoration Message is spreading like wild fire, like a great Tsunami, gathering height as it moves along!

The value of 73 also refers to a Sickle – used for cutting and gathering the grain. We are in the 4^th year of this decade of the 70’s.  Looking back from a KHT perspective, we have certainly over the last 4 years seen such increase in wisdom and revelation amongst Ten Tribers. “Gimmel” or “Gamel” refers to a camel – a powerful animal that is used for the transport of goods through the desert. Man will traverse the wilderness of ignorance and false traditions like a camel which cannot lose its direction, guided by G-d who can bring them through the hardest paths of life.

The value of 3 for this letter, further confirms the Message in last year’s (5772, where 2 refers to ‘Beyt’ (House), the 3 sides of the letter Beyt indicates three areas of revelation concerning the House of G-d. 

• 1^st the House of G-d, itself, will be revealed. Many false houses have been built in the name of G-d.
• 2^nd Who’s IN the House;
• 3^rd Who’s OF the House.

 Parashah Bereishit

 Bereishit, true to its meaning, starts at the Beginning: 

• What is Life about?
• Why are we here?
• Where are we heading?
• What is it all about?
• Why is an infinite Creator G-d interested in us, unreliable and unfaithful earthlings? 

“In the Beginning, G-d created the Heavens and the earth …” Genesis. 1:1

This very first verse, like all the rest in the Bible, is open to refute, acceptance or rejection and personal interpretation of a subject that boggles the mind. Creation?  Of what, how, why …. It may be a good platform to start this review from: WHAT did the Creation entail?  Thereafter, we will trace the answer from our Haftorah portion for the week regarding WHY an infinite Creator involved us, mankind, and to what extent His interest in mankind, His Creation, extends.  The answer to this we will find is as mind-boggling vast as the encompassment of the Universe which He has created!

Rabbi Zamir Cohen, in his book “The Coming Revolution” – Science discovers the Truth of the Bible masterly points out that “Today, it is undeniable that scores of scientific ‘discoveries’ are nothing more than the result of scientists finally taking notice of ideas that were already clear to Sages of Torah since the moment the Jewish people received the Torah at Mount Sinai.  It is incredible, that a vast number of scientific discoveries cited in the Torah, were only discovered in modern times, thanks to the aid of electronic and other cutting edge technological advances.”

The conclusion is derived that ONLY G-d, the Creator, Who formed this wondrous and mysterious creation, could have inspired the Written Bible. “Penzias, who together with his colleague Wilson, won the Nobel Prize for their discoveries, summed up his research as follows:

Penzias - “Astronomy leads us to a unique event, a universe which was created out of nothing and is delicately balanced to provide exactly the conditions required to sustain life.  In the absence of an absurdly improbable accident, the observations of modern science seem to suggest an underlying one might say, supernatural plan.”

The first words of the Torah thunders its Statement of Truth against all these scientific ‘unknowns’: “In the Beginning, G-d created the Heavens and the earth …” Science since the latest scientific discoveries is more and more agreeing on this point. Rabbi Cohen points out: 

Rabbi Cohen - “Prof. Robert Jastrow, one of today’s foremost astronomers and the founder of NASA’s Goddard Institute, expressed very well the embarrassment felt by his colleagues in space research when he said: ‘… for the scientist who lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream … he is able to conquer the highest peak and pulls himself over the final rock … to be greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries…”

Today, scientists admit that the world was created.  The scientific findings of the 20^th century have led many to believe that there is a Supreme Force though they have no idea of how to reconcile that fact with the known laws of physics.

What does the Universe entail?

 

Here again, Oral Torah (interpretations of the Bible by Jewish Sages of antiquity), superseded modern science by millennia! The naked eye can discern some 4000 stars in the night skies.  Super telescopes have come to be only in modern scientific times – only to confirm that ancient Jewish writings were ahead of them by millennia! Consider the defined descriptions by Jewish Sages in the Talmud (with only the Torah at their disposal) of the myriads of stars in the universe as ‘discovered’ by modern scientists: 

Talmudic Sages - “This is how ancient Jewish Sages described it in the Talmud using Roman military terminology: “G-d said to the people of Israel: ‘I created twelve constellations in the firmament, and for each constellation I created 30 hosts (clusters of stars), and for each host I have created 30 legions, and for each legion I have created 30 divisions, and for each division I have created 30 battalions, and for each battalion I have created 30 camps and for each camp I have created 365,000 tens of thousands of stars, corresponding to the days of the solar year – and all of them I have created only for your sake.”

Doing the mathematical equation of the above formula, Rabbi Cohen arrives at the following number of stars in the heavens, according to the Sages: 1,064,340,000,000,000,000 stars.

Modern science with its advanced electronic equipment are estimating similar figures, some 3000 years after the Sages who had the naked eye only – but, who were equipped with the Word of G-d and oral traditions stemming right back from Moses, who was informed by G-d personally.

Let us now consider the Divine Promises made to Abraham and the patriarchs, that their descendants would equate the numbers of the stars and the sand on the sea shore.  Is it possible that G-d could have referred to the mere 14 million Jews in the world today only? People who reason like this lose sight of the Divine Promises that the Lost Ten Tribes would be re-identified at the End of Time and returned to the Land of Israel.  Add to this the myriads of Lost Jews who through the ages assimilated with the nations through marriage and escape of religious persecutions – and the possible future population figures for the Land of Israel increases to a figure which is more and more mentioned by commentators, viz. 1 billion and even 2 billion souls!

Shomron (Samaria) Israel – the Promised Land; Birth Pangs of Armageddon, Gog & Magog War

  

“And all of them I have created only for your Sake.”

As if the insight of the Jewish Sages were not phenomenal enough from the above example (and there are myriads more such examples proving that Oral Torah was millennia ahead of the world’s scholars in all sciences – including religion, a fact greatly contested by Christianity and, sadly, by re-awakening Ten Tribers the world over), consider the following:

Why did G-d create this immeasurable expanse of flying and rotating masses in the heavens?

Quote the Jewish Sages: “… all of them I have created only for your sake.” Now behold how this week’s Haftorah, the first of the new yearly cycle, confirms this awesome Divine Statement.  And consider simultaneously how these paired sections (the Parashah and the Haftarah) have been programmed centuries ago by Jewish Sages to answer man’s biggest Questions: 

• “Why did G-d create man on earth?”
• “What is His Purpose for mankind?”

This reading hardly needs commentary – it speaks for itself in the light of what we have discussed here.  Some portions have been highlighted, just for emphasis.

Isaiah 42:5-25 - (This translation was taken from the JPS Tanakh) - “Thus said G0d HaShem, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and what it brings forth, Who gave breath to the people upon it and life to those who walk thereon: I HaShem, in My grace have summoned you, and I have grasped you by the hand. I created you, and appointed you, a covenanted people, a light of nations – opening eyes deprived of light, rescuing prisoners from confinement, from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

I am HaShem, that is My name; I will not yield My glory to another, nor My renown to idols. See, the things once predicted have come, and now I foretell new things, Announce to you ere they sprout up.

Sing to HaShem a new song, His praise from the ends of the earth - You who sail the sea and you creatures in it, you coastlands and their inhabitants! Let the desert and its towns cry aloud, the villages where Kedar dwells; let Sela's inhabitants shout, call out from the peaks of the mountains. Let them do honor to HaShem, and tell His glory in the coastlands. HaShem goes forth like a warrior, like a fighter He whips up His rage. He yells, He roars aloud, He charges upon His enemies.

"I have kept silent far too long, kept still and restrained Myself; now I will scream like a woman in labor, I will pant and I will gasp. Hills and heights will I scorch, cause all their green to wither; I will turn rivers into isles, and dry the marshes up.  I will lead the blind by a road they did not know, and I will make them walk by paths they never knew.

I will turn darkness before them to light, rough places into level ground. These are the promises — I will keep them without fail. Driven back and utterly shamed shall be those who trust in an image, those who say to idols, 'You are our gods!'"

Listen, you who are deaf; you blind ones, look up and see! Who is so blind as My servant, so deaf as the messenger I send? Who is so blind as the chosen one, so blind as the servant of the Lord? Seeing many things, he gives no heed; with ears open, he hears nothing.

The Lord desires His [servant's] vindication, that he may magnify and glorify [His] Teaching. Yet it is a people plundered and despoiled: all of them are trapped in holes, imprisoned in dungeons. They are given over to plunder, with none to rescue them; to despoilment, with none to say "Give back!If only you would listen to this, attend and give heed from now on! Who was it gave Jacob over to despoilment and Israel to plunderers?

Surely, HaShem against whom they sinned in those ways they would not walk and whose Teachings they would not obey.

So He poured out wrath upon them, his anger and the fury of war. It blazed upon them all about, but they heeded not; it burned among them, but they gave it no thought."

Isaiah 43:1-10 – “But now thus said HaShem — Who created you, O Jacob, who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I will redeem you; I have singled you out by name, You are Mine. When you pass through water, I will be with you; through streams, they shall not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be scorched; through flame, it shall not burn you.

For I HaShem am your G-d, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as a ransom for you, Ethiopia and Saba in exchange for you. Because you are precious to Me, and I honored, and I love you, I give men in exchange for you and peoples in your stead. Fear not, for I am with you: I will bring your folk from the East, I will gather you out of the West; I will say to the North, “Give back!” and to the South, “Do not withhold! Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the end of the earth — all who are linked to My name, whom I have created, formed, and made for My glory -  Setting free that people, blind though it has eyes and deaf though it has ears."

All the nations assemble as one, the peoples gather. Who among them declared this, foretold to us the things that have happened? Let them produce their witnesses and be vindicated, that men, hearing them, may say, "It is true!" My witnesses are you.”

Now consider….! What measure of Love by the Creator of the immeasurable Heavenly expanse? That He has created this ALL for His Beloved, the Creation of His Hand – mankind, with a FREE Will to applaud and embrace Him … or to scoff, insult and scorn Him!

That He is prepared to receive back His Beloved, His Bride who played the Harlot with ‘other gods’, notwithstanding her whoring and rebellion against His guidelines for His Household and His Nation! Can it really be that He could love His Creation to such an extent?

Perhaps, when we can picture Him as the Creator, lovingly molding the crown of His Creation - husband and wife, from the dust of the earth; clay models, we could find an answer.  When we consider that He then instilled in them firstly a free Will (with all the risks that this involved), and then the entire untouchable human factors which would make for LOVE and CARE between husband and wife, parents and children, family bounds, national bounds. What measure of Love and Grace He exudes!

It would all be well and understandable in a world of love and peace – but imagine to what degree this Love is powered when we allow for the hate, greed and monstrosity that mankind so easily emanates.  He, who can see into the inner chambers of man’s hearts and minds, has to live with and endure all this!

If it all ended there, it could still be understood – but, and this is the pinnacle of His Greatness:  That, while He has the power to intercede and cut off, destroy, annihilate humans who portray such opposite and evil inhibitions, He has to withhold this Destructive Power!  Why?  For the sake of the Glorious Future that He has planned for Humanity, of which all could partake.  (Consider this also as the probable answer to why He allowed the Holocaust to play out its full length, while He could have cut Hitler’s life with simply a gaze in that direction!)

Ezekiel chapter 20 (A MUST READ!) is clear on this factor:  “How often did I want to destroy you, wipe you off the face of the earth … but, for My Name’s Sake and My Honor did I withhold Myself; for the sake of the Oath that I took before the nations that IN THE END YOU WILL BOW THE KNEE BEFORE ME!” (paraphrased from the context).

This topic is as profound as the immeasurability of the vast expanse of the 1,064,340,000,000,000,000 stars flying around light year distances away from each other in the Universe!!! ALL JUST FOR YOU AND I.

How can we ever deserve this Love? How can we be worth such Supreme Royal Love? Here, in closing, are a few ‘life-style jewels’ which I have gleaned in my search on this topic:

NOTE: Why Jewish and Judaism?  Because “THAT” is the Purpose underlying the entire Salvation or Love Plan of G-d.  ALL religions have “good” values in their teachings, BUT, ONLY Judaism, from its foundational moments, embraced the Divine Plan of the eventual establishment of a Reconciled and Re-united 12-Tribed Kingdom of the G-d of Israel.  It will incontestably be a Jewish Kingdom – and if this does not appeal to you, then you are disqualifying yourself and you need no further Judgment for entering the Kingdom or not!  You would be very unhappy in such a Kingdom anyway.

“TO BE JEWISH means not only to seek to make one’s life more meaningful. Being Jewish also asks us to play an active role in transmitting Jewish values to the next generation. In that sense, Judaism is not only about enhancing one’s own life experience but ensuring that the message of Judaism will continue to have an impact on others. After we have committed our energy to self-care, let us be sure to extend our hearts and our care to all of our community and to all of Israel.

As the midrash reminds us, nothing is ours; all belongs to G-d who with great hope has given the world to us to watch over and return it as good as new or even better when our time to tend it is up.”

Introduction – Setting the scene for our Review

In Parashat Bereisheet, last week (13 Oct. 2012) we reviewed the vastness of the span of the Universe.  We arrived at the staggering, revealing conclusion from various sources, that the Creator, the G-d of Israel, had made it all “for the sake of His People” – the crown of His Creation…Humanity…male and female…husband and wife (Genesis 1:27).  Theirs was the duty and obligation to ‘manage’ the earth and all its creation (Genesis 1:28).

Deeper contemplation on this overwhelming prospect of G-d’s Intent for humanity, confronts us with the awesome concept that the Creator intends to bring humanity into a form of co-opted rule of the earth – with Him!  We highlighted from last week’s Haftarah portion the Divine promises for 10-Israel and Judah in this regard:

Isaiah 43:1-10 – “But now thus said HaShem — Who created you, O Jacob, who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I will redeem you; I have singled you out by name, You are Mine. When you pass through water, I will be with you; through streams, they shall not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be scorched; through flame, it shall not burn you.

For I HaShem am your G-d, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as a ransom for you, Ethiopia and Saba in exchange for you. Because you are precious to Me, and I honored, and I love you, I give men in exchange for you and peoples in your stead. Fear not, for I am with you: I will bring your folk from the East, I will gather you out of the West; I will say to the North, “Give back!” and to the South, “Do not withhold! Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the end of the earth — all who are linked to My name, whom I have created, formed, and made for My glory -  Setting free that people, blind though it has eyes and deaf though it has ears."

Just consider this:  We have raised up these awesome concepts all from reviewing the very first verse of the Bible Reading ONLY!  Bereisheet, the first of the 52 weekly Bible Readings, spans the first 6 chapters of Genesis in the Bible.  This represents many centuries of history over a span of 10 generations until Noah.

Our 2^nd Parashah, which entails another 6 chapters covering many centuries until Avraham.  Surely, the Bible is as vast as the encompassment of the immeasurable Universe out there in Space! Yet, we see patterns in it, as with this division of the first two Parashot.

This vastness notwithstanding, we find frail mankind so often arrogantly exalting itself  over the Divinely appointed teachers of Torah, i.e. the Rabbinic Order (Gen. 49:10 – Write for copy of our study on this Divine Mandate).  This attitude is rampant today amongst the ‘re-awakening’ remnants of G-d’s rejected Bride – which, in His Great Love, He vowed to receive back at the

Conclusion of this Dispensation or era.

With one vile stroke these ‘know betters’ then wipe the testimony and interpretations of this 3500 year old Academy of Higher Learning which establishes its foundations right back to Moses, off the table.  They then present their own interpretations as ‘the real Truth’ – while most of them have not passed even pre-school levels of Hebrew, the language which the Bible was written in!

In our commentaries therefore, we will concentrate on Jewish Rabbinic interpretation only, though on more of a futuristic, Prophetic basis.  We will therefore lay great emphasis and value on the Haftarah portions of the weekly Readings,  which are generally from the prophetic Books of the Tanach (derogatorily called the ‘Old Testament’ by Christians).  It is evident that the selection of these parallel sets of Readings, since ancient times were inspired by divine Guidance to provide a ‘spot light’ on the Torah portions and their inherent meanings and time settings for mankind – and especially for His People.

Instructive Guidelines underlying the Pattern set by these Two Introductory Parashot 

The Ark of Noah and the Great Flood

In the first Parashah, Bereisheet, we find Creation completed.  At the end of His Creation on the 6^th day, “G-d saw all that He had made, and it was very good.” Yet, within days, the very ones for whom He had made all, disappointed Him – and they were set out of the Garden of Eden and hardships pronounced over them.  Yet His Eternal Promises and long-term Intention remained.

The following 10 generations of this first Adamic dispensation saw the degeneration of mankind – all because G-d created man with a free choice to choose Good or Evil. The 1^st Parashah ends with the sad observation;

Genesis 6:5-8 - “HaShem saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. HaShem regretted that He had made human beings on the earth and His heart was deeply troubled. So HaShem said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.”

Yet, G-d did not discard His Eternal Promise and Intention, for Noah found favor in His eyes and G-d would use him to safeguard and ongoing remnant of mankind and all the animals.  Noah alone in his generation was upright and righteous; fighting against the tide of his entire generation.  He maintained the religious truths handed down from Adam: belief in the One G-d and obedience to His Law. 

Following G-d’s instructions, it took Noah 120 years to build an Ark which would house and save him and his direct family and pairs of two of each animal and bird; in the Flood that would engulf the earth and wipe out its evil generations. We see in this a parallel with the dispensation that we are living in.  The signs of mankind’s degeneration are all around us – a world of wars, moral depravity, and rejection of the Living Creator, greed and increasing evil.  Just like the pre-Noahide civilization, we are awaiting Divine retribution on mankind. 

Just like Noah must have been scoffed at for building an Ark on dry ground, with the Promised flood delayed for 120 years, so, centuries have passed without any confirmation of eventual retribution by a Living G-d. As Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov (1698-1760) wrote:

Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov - “The Hebrew word for ‘ark,’ teivah, also means ‘word.’ "Come into the Word,’ says G-d; enter within the words of prayer and Torah study. Here you will find a sanctuary of wisdom, meaning and holiness amidst the raging floodwaters of life.”

A striving segment in the world today, faithful to G-d’s Promises, are similarly surviving in the Ark of His Word. Amongst these also are Ten Tribers across the world who are reawakening to their Hebrew Roots and returning to the Original Truths of G-d’s Word. It should be clear that this Ark represents the One True Faith which had been guarded by Judah throughout the ages and not the hybrid religions that sprang up in downright rebellion against and usurping and replacement  of the Original Hebrew faith.

Yet, this Ark is open to anyone, of any nation, race or tribe who, like a Noah,  wishes to maintain the religious truths handed down from Adam: belief in the One G-d and obedience to His Torah. Rambam, in his commentary to Parashat Noah, writes a surprising conclusion about “all the animals, every beast, every creeping thing and every bird after its kind... two by two,” as follows:  

Rambam (Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon or Moses Maimonides) – “And some of them - such as elephants, rams and others - are very large; likewise, the creeping things upon the earth are very many. Of the fowl of the heaven there are also innumerably many kinds, Noah was thus obligated to bring all of them into the ark in order that they may beget their like after the flood. Even if you could gather a full year's supply of food for all of them, you would find that this ark and ten others like it could not hold it!”

The Rambam concludes:  “Since an ark of some 150 meters could in no way contain all the animals and birds of the world, it is obvious that G-d made a miracle. A very large assembly was contained in a small space. If so, why bother Noah with the construction of the ark? Here, he toiled and worked for some 120 years. Every day he and his sons would go and gather wood, cut and shape it and construct the ark, working from sunup to sundown. If in any case there needed to be a miracle to house all the animals and fowl - let there just be a miracle and that would be that. Why trouble Noah so much?”

The Rambam answers that miracles do not happen by themselves; first one must do his utmost - all in his power - and then, and only then, will G-d do His part.

This is something that re-identifying 10-Israel has to wake up to.  Their Christian roots have generally left them in stagnant mode with a dependence on G-d to do it all for them. Noble as it may seem, they want to pray everything in.  They depend on signs and miracles while they keep praying for while waiting action less in their observation posts.  Even though the Return of 10-Israel and their Reconciliation with Judah requires a Great Miraculous Intervention by HaShem, we have to labor faithfully and tirelessly.  

Like Noah, we have to persist against all the odds, even in the face of the grotesque impossibility of it all, for the eventual Happening.  G-d can do it all by Himself, but, like a Noah, we actually qualify on the strength of our ACTIONS and persistence in Faith. 

If G-d could make the lamp oil last, as we commemorate in our Chanukah celebrations, then He could make the food stocks last on the Ark for all the animals throughout the year in the Flood.  He will make the Miracles IF we lay the ground work.  Without our faithful labors and support, there will be NO Reconciliation, for G-d is not a Puppeteer. He not only intends to use those of us who will qualify in the End as co-rulers with Him in His Kingdom, but He also  requires us to be co-workers with Him beforehand in achieving peace in Zion, in His Household and nation. In fact, in this way we shall be qualifying those who are to rule with Him.

That, seemingly, was His Intent with creating the Universe for our sake.  By creating man with a FREE choice to serve Him or reject Him; by raising man through a process of overcoming ever increasing stumbling blocks, He is busy qualifying a leadership for His Kingdom who will rule in righteousness.

HaShem’s other option at Creation would have been to create man righteous from the start and showering him with Blessings only.  What kind of Rulers would that have provided? 

The Noahide Dispensation

For the sake of one righteous man, Noah, G-d maintained His Intent with mankind.  But, just like in Parashat Bereisheet, shortly after the Flood, the new human generations degenerated once again. As Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum from AZAMRA wrote:

Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum - “As the population of the world expanded in the generations after Noah, man set himself a new goal: to unite in rebellion against G-d. 

Genesis 11:1-9 – “Let us build for ourselves a city and a tower with its head in the heavens and let us make for ourselves a NAME.”

Man wanted the “name” for himself -- for his own glory -- instead of giving all the glory to G-d. However, G-d confounded man -- by sowing confusion through the very faculty that is uniquely man's: speech. Instead of helping people to communicate with each other, the torrents of words they directed at one another simply led to incomprehension, misunderstanding, hatred and violence.” 

Human history is that of the rise and fall of civilizations. One after the other, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome. reached the heights of power and arrogance, only to enter into decline -- just as we see contemporary "civilization" in its decline, with the widespread breakdown of security, social order and moral integrity. The Parshah of NOAH teaches us about the global, ecological disaster that comes about in the wake of human arrogance, excess and immorality.” 

G-d has not given up thus far on His Intent with mankind, i.e. to raise a righteous rulership who could rule with Him in His Kingdom.

In our next Parashah, we will be taken into the next Dispensational Metaphor, that of Avraham.  To Him and His descendants G-d promised the Land of Israel, from where He will rule over the world, together with His People who will qualify.

The Bride of the One G-d of Israel

A righteous G-d, faithful to His Intent

Our Haftarah (from the prophets) confirms G-d’s faithfulness to His original Intent to the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel:

Isaiah 54:1-10 – “Sing, barren woman,  [referring to 10-Isael, His divorced Bride] you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband…

For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.

For your Maker is your husband – the L-rd Almighty is His Name – the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the G-d of all the earth. He will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit – a wife who married young, only to be rejected,” says your G-d.

‘For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,’ says the L-rd you Redeemer.

To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that that waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing Love for you will not be shaken nor my Covenant of Peace be removed,” says HaShem, who has compassion on you.”

Once again, that unfathomable Love, that 10-Israel so often unwittingly and non-concerned tramples upon! 

Surely! – This Love deserves our reciprocation and every effort to conform to being a righteous Bride for Him?  Shall we keep trampling on this Love? Shall we keep taking it for granted, in a mode of expectancy and receiving only?   Surely, the least that we can do by way of thanksgiving, is to do something substantial to promoting His Great Cause?  Are we really doing our best to show our gratitude?  Or are we hiding behind the sanctimonious response that “there is nothing we can do to earn our salvation”?  Would you like your own children to handle your love and gifts with such a one-sided expectancy on the receiving side only?

May the inspiration of these two Parashot serve to inspire us to assist in hastening the Redemption and perfecting of His Kingdom!

Destination Yisra’el – “One of the most unique characteristics about the 2012 Presidential race is the fact that no matter who wins the race it is guaranteed that half of the American voting public will be angry and will feel disenfranchised from the democratically constructed American political scene. The polarization of this race does not bode well for a peaceful outcome. As Benjamin Fulford wrote on October 22, 2012 in the blog titled, “Will there be a coup d’etat in the US during the next couple of weeks?”

Benjamin Fulford – “The people in charge at the US agencies and military know the presidential election scheduled for November 8th will be a fraud and a sham no matter what the outcome. That is why many reliable sources are saying US militias and reserve troops were put on alert last week. They have either started to mobilize either to pre-empt the elections and put the Joint Chiefs of Staff in charge of an interim government or to get ready to act in anticipation of post-election violence and chaos, depending on who you talk to.

In any case, it is no coincidence that both the US and China will be selecting a new government on November 8th and there is a lot of plotting and speculation going on beneath the surface as that date approaches. In Europe as well, there are signs of a fundamental struggle reaching a climax as the IMF and certain governments face off against the bankers over control of the process of money creation.  A lot of shadowy organizations have also now informed the White Dragon Society that, should they stand in the way, certain prominent individuals around the world are scheduled to die of stroke, heart attack, cancer or bullet wound over the coming weeks.

The murder of CIA “ambassador” Stevens in Libya, was a part of the ongoing battle. According to the Gnostic Illuminati, Stevens was murdered because of his role in smuggling the nuclear weapon into Japan that was used in the 311 tsunami and nuclear terror attack.  It is true that there is a resemblance between the Stevens who was implicated in the nuclear attack on Japan and the one killed in Libya. However, the Stevens in Asia was supposed to be a British SAS trained former senior Hong Kong police official while the Stevens in Libya was CIA. There is a deliberate fog of disinformation surrounding this death but what is clear from public statements is that the Obama faction failed to protect him and the Bush faction are furious about this fact. It is also well known that there was no US embassy in Benghazi and that Stevens was involved in some sort of violence related clandestine work.

This is also linked to the upcoming US “presidential election” farce. Plenty of insiders have forwarded information showing links between Romney’s Bain capital and drug money laundering, making it clear Romney is the Nazi candidate. On the other hand Obama is seen by many right wingers as the foreign born Muslim communist candidate. As mentioned before the Queen and the Pope have been funneling billions to Obama while the Bush folk finance Romney.  In either case, there is expected to be widespread violence and rioting if either Romney or Obama win. The obvious answer to most intelligent observers is that neither of the two gangster front men should be put in charge of a United States government that desperately needs its biggest overhaul since 1776.  The next few weeks should show if the US military and agencies are staffed with men or mice.”

It is also interesting that in the year of 1844, the Great Awakening in America along the Eastern Seaboard of the 13 Original Colonies representing the 13 Tribes of House of Jacob (Joseph represented two tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh) erupted as a religious revivalist movement who fundamentally ripped the messianic veil away from the Roman Catholic Church claiming that “The Church” was the Divine mediator to bring humans beings salvation. All Protestant denominations still accepted the Roman Catholic apostasy that the Messiah of Israel was also ready “spiritually” here. There was not concept of a literal living Messiah, nor a concept of a Kingdom of G-d on Planet Earth

As we shall see, while Protest-ant Christianity was eagerly seeking the coming or the revealing of a Messiah on October 22/23, 1844, the Mormon Church was funding an independent presidential candidate, Joseph Smith to run for the president of the United States in 1844. Apparently it was one of his purposes was to take control of the American government and put it under the Mormon Church as an American theocracy. Joseph Smith’s life and political career was cut short by a politically motivated “vigilante squad”.

Destination Yisra’el nor any of its associates neither confirms nor disproves whether any or all of the Mormon critiques that will be stated below are true or not. It seeks rather to depict the uniqueness of this election where a Mormon entrepreneur is rapidly ascending in approval with the American public to be the next president of the United States, yet many are judging him as to whether he is a Christian or not. He is challenging the current occupant of the Oval Offices that appears to be an Islamic groomed and trained president riding into his second term. If the residing president does not win, he still has a high possibility of taking control of the entire American government, even if it meant implementing a “State of Emergency” and transforming America, Canada and Mexico into a North American Union.  Is it possible that the North American Union could be ruled as an Islamic Union?  Will Islamic Sharia Law with roots in Islam replace the Jewish Torah Roots of the American Constitution?

What is more apparent with those with “eyes that can see” and “ears that can hear” that the G-d of Israel is in direct control of the affairs of the nations and is dismantling Planet Earth in preparation for the revealing of the Maschiah ben Dovid, who will rule this planet with a “rod of iron” in his mouth.  All the great imperialists will cease to exist and all the noble and grand idealism of a One World Government will come to its fulfillment and end when HaShem, the One and Only G-d will take control of Planet Earth and as foretold in numerous of its prophets will bring to this planet a new Gan Eden (Garden of Eden) and a righteous government ruled under the enlightenment of Torah law.

James Martin – “The first thing you need to know about Mitt Romney is that he is a Mormon, aka a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They call themselves Christians, but they have so thoroughly brainwashed their members that anything the church says…goes. No matter how much Mitt Romney says he would keep his church separate from Government, and how he would never let the church come in and run Government, commands of the church come first and foremost in Mormon minds.

If the church wanted Mitt to let them come in (AND THEY WOULD) and help or direct the Government, that is how it would be. Why? Because the church leaders would supposedly have a “vision” that it is God’s will. The church is all about trying to prop up the image of its founder, Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith had a supposed vision (prophecy) that one day a Mormon would become President of the United States, FOR THE EXPRESS PURPOSE, of letting the Mormon Church take over the U.S. Government.

You can take it to the bank, that if Romney were President, the church leaders would have another “vision,” that a church takeover must happen. By the way, that prophecy was simple revenge for perceived wrongs done to Joseph Smith by the government. Nevertheless they treat all his prophecies seriously, no matter how ridiculous they are.

The only other church I know of that elicits such obedience was The People’s Temple, and we all know what happened there, they drank the Kool-Aid. In other words, the Mormon religion is a cult of brainwashed souls.

Mormons duck out the back door of the church as quickly as they come in the front door. The number of people on the church rolls rises all the time, but that’s because even if you join and then decide the church really isn’t for you, they still continue to count you as a member. Unfortunately this trend doesn’t apply to the “old school” Mormons like Romney. They’re totally entrenched into the religion/cult. Some of the freaky Mormon beliefs are:

 

1. Mormons have a member “stand in” for a dead person and they’re baptized as a member of the church. 
2. Mormons have a couple “stand in” for a dead man and woman and marry them into the church, and those count as a “twofer” in church membership rolls. Supposedly they’re “sealed for time and eternity” as husband and wife. Mormons are also supposedly the only ones who will be allowed to have sexual intercourse in Heaven.
3. Mormons believe that God was once a man here on earth and that he attained God-hood due to his “good works” here on earth. He was then elevated to live on the planet Kolob. This is why the Mormons stress “good works” as part of their membership. But here’s the rub! How could God create the earth according to the book of Genesis (which their other teachings do NOT dispute) unless he was ALREADY a God, and then attained God-hood through “good works?” If you truly are a Christian, does this all sound a bit weird to you? And no I’m not kidding you, these things are core beliefs of the Mormon Church. They all are from the false prophecies of Joseph Smith. You see, it’s easy, if you know all the facts, to tell why Mitt wants the White House so badly.
4. One of the tenants of the Mormon Church is to have as many babies as possible. So this goes hand in hand with Romney’s stand against abortion AND birth control. If you’re not popping out a new “Mormon Unit” every 12-18 months, you’re not having enough unprotected sex.
5. It also explains why they stress getting a good education, so they can make enough money to support all those kids with the mother being a “stay at home mom” like his wife Ann. Yet he wants to cut and privatize education. This is one of the Republican strategies to keep the voting public too dumb to see the truth.
6. Back when I was a youth in the church, we were taught that black people were descendants of Cain, and that the dark skin was the curse God put on him for killing Abel. Black people were to be shunned at all cost. We weren’t to be rude about it, but we weren’t to associate with them. This racist “teaching” is no longer part of Sunday School, because a few black people threatened to sue the church for racism and discrimination because they were not allowed to join. Suddenly the church elders had another supposed “vision” that blacks had paid their penance (still indicating they’d done something wrong) and they’re now allowed to join. But they were not allowed to hold church offices, so the threat to sue was renewed and lo and behold another “vision” comes down the pike and blacks are now allowed full membership. I used to go to church with people like Donny & Marie Osmond and their family. I KNOW they were raised to be racist. In my opinion, to be raised racist and suddenly have your church tell you that you must do a full 180 and love and embrace black people is a total mind-fuck. (Excuse the one word, but nothing else seems to convey the gravity of the situation)
7. Christians don’t believe that God changes his mind to fit the times, yet this is what the Mormon Church is saying he does. A further example of this is that Joseph Smith said polygamy was an “everlasting covenant” from God, but the government said that if Mormons continued to practice polygamy, Utah would not become a state. If you look up the words everlasting, and covenant, you can see once again that God SUPPOSEDLY changed his mind just to fit the times.
8. Mormons wear “special” undergarments. For reasons too long to go into, suffice it to say that they believe this underwear protects them from evil and gives them mystical powers, as well as making their bodies more visible to the spirits when the rapture occurs. There are symbolic cuts in the underwear that are the same as symbols of being a member of the Masons. Also many of the secret ceremonies, hand signals and handshakes are derived from Masonic rituals.

Romney wants to be President to fulfill a cult prophecy. When Mitt Romney received his patriarchal blessing as a Michigan teenager, he was told that the Lord expected great things from him. All young Mormon men — the “worthy males” of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as it is officially known — receive such a blessing as they embark on their requisite journeys as religious missionaries.

But at 19 years of age, the youngest son of the most prominent Mormon in American politics — a seventh-generation direct descendant of one of the faith’s founding 12 apostles—Mitt Romney had been singled out as a destined leader. The Cougar Club — the all male, all white social club at Brigham Young University in Salt Lake City (blacks were excluded from full membership in the Mormon church until 1978) — was humming with talk that its president, Mitt Romney, would become the first Mormon President of the United States. “If not Mitt, then who?” was the ubiquitous slogan within the elite organization.

The pious world of BYU was expected to spawn the man who would lead the Mormons into the White House and fulfill the prophecies of the church’s founder, Joseph Smith Jr., which Romney has avidly sought to realize.

Economic goals according to Romney’s own book, “Believe in America” Mitt Romney’s Plan for Jobs and Economic Growth 

• Wants to provoke China into war by labeling the Chinese government as criminals in the world court. Never mind that they own most of our money, they have nuclear capabilities and over a million soldiers. I’m sorry, but we wouldn’t stand a chance. 

• Wants to privatize Social Security and Medicare. They say Obamacare would create death panels, but that’s nothing compared to what it would be if Wall Street controlled medical benefits. And with how well Wall Street has proven that they can screw up even a wet dream, do you really want them deciding how much your Social Security checks should be? I don’t think so. Romney would privatize his next meal if he could.

General plans (from stuff he has said lately) 

• Wants to cut education funding and oversight. 

• As a vulture capitalist, Mitt Romney cost thousands of employees their jobs and their retirement pensions, while he made out like a bandit. If elected president, Romney will kill Medicare and Social Security and further subjugate women’s rights, while destroying the EPA and other government services.

OBAMA is looking pretty good now, isn’t he? Read on, don’t just shut your mind and stop here.

Romney avoids mentioning it, but Joseph Smith ran for president in 1844 as an independent Commander in Chief of an “army of God” advocating the overthrow of the U.S. government in favor of a Mormon-ruled theocracy. Challenging Democrat, James Polk and Whig, Henry Clay – Smith prophesied that if the U.S. Congress did not accede to his demands that “they shall be broken up as a government and God shall damn them.”

Smith viewed capturing the presidency as part of the mission of the church. Smith’s insertion of religion into politics and his call for a “theodemocracy where God and people hold the power to conduct the affairs of men in righteous matters” created a sensation and drew hostility from the outside world. But his candidacy was cut short when he was shot to death by an anti-Mormon vigilante mob.

Out of Smith’s national political ambitions grew what would become known in Mormon circles as the “White Horse Prophecy” — a belief ingrained in Mormon culture and passed down through generations by church leaders that the day would come when the U.S. Constitution would “hang like a thread as fine as a silk fiber” and the Mormon priesthood would save it. Why the Israelis don’t Mind a Mormon in the White House

While US President Barack Obama’s perceived Islamic sympathies have continued to hound him with conservative Christian voters, challenger Mitt Romney’s Mormonism has hardly stirred a prayer. As far as Israel is concerned, many Christians believe that Romney’s support for the Jewish state is stronger than Obama’s. But how might Romney’s Mormon faith influence his policies vis-à-vis Israel?

Mormons teach that they are the direct descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Book of Mormon states that the Israelite tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim were exiled from Jerusalem and settled in America. According to Mormon doctrine, this migration fulfilled the prophecy of Jacob on his son, Joseph:

Genesis 49:2 - "Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall"

The Book of Mormon also tells of a group from the Tribe of Judah who came to the Americas after its defeat by Babylon around 600 BCE.

On the title page of the scriptures of the Latter-day Saints there is a clear condemnation of anti-Semitism and support for a future Israel.

3 Nephi 29:8 - "Yea, and ye need not any longer hiss, nor spurn, nor make game of the Jews, nor of any remnant of the house of Israel; for behold, the Lord remembereth his covenant unto them, and he will do unto them according to that which he hath sworn."

These beliefs may account for the fact that among Jews, Mormons ranked at the very top of the approval list in a report done by the Public Religion Research Institute (Jewish Values Survey, March 2012). Jews viewed Mormons more warmly than any other religious group in the survey. This positive attitude is not only the result of Mormon support for Israel. Christians also love Israel, and yet Jewish people tend to be far more suspicious of evangelical Christians.

According to “Shrbh” (Hebrew initials), a Messianic Jewish scholar in Jerusalem, there is a unique affinity between Mormons and Jews. “I think there is a common feeling of being a minority which has suffered persecution,” he said. “This leads Mormons to a feeling of identity with Jewish suffering.”

This Messianic Jewish scholar supports Romney for president because he believes that “this will provide a platform for a respectful relationship with Jews and Israel as a whole. …This respect will prevent a Mormon president from placing overbearing pressure on Israel to conform to the international community's desires.”

The connection between Jews and Mormons runs deep and could play a significant role in Romney’s support for Israel. Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, believed unashamedly in the return of the Jews to their ancient homeland in Israel.

Israel’s ambassador to the USA, Michael B. Oren, writes about the first Mormon pilgrimage to Jerusalem in his book Power, Faith and Fantasy: America in the Middle East. In 1841, Smith sent his “personal apostle” Orson Hyde to the ancient Jewish capital. “Climbing the Mount of Olives, Hyde erected an altar and beseeched God to ‘restore the kingdom unto Israel, raise up Jerusalem as its capital, and continue her people a distinct nation and government.’

Mormons would later integrate that prayer into their liturgy and, on the site of Hyde’s altar, build a branch of Brigham Young University.” In terms of Mormon theology, their presence in Jerusalem is far more significant to them than just a university center.

Governor Romney’s commitment to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is well known, although he was quoted in U.S. News & World Report as saying that if elected he would “pledge allegiance to the Constitution, not the Mormon Church.” From 1981-1986 Romney held the position of Bishop over his congregation in Boston, and from 1987-1994 he presided as President over the entire Boston district, which included dozens of congregations and over 4000 members. Romney spent two years after graduating college as a Mormon missionary in France, and he and his family continue to attend a Mormon congregation every Sunday.

Yedidiah, a Messianic Jewish officer in the Israeli army is not convinced that a Mormon president in the White House is good for Israel. “I can’t understand how an intelligent government official can believe all those strange Mormon doctrines,” he said about Romney. In spite of the fact that while visiting Israel in July of this year Romney made it clear that Israel is “the highest national-security priority,” many Israelis are still undecided. “There are too many things about Romney that I don’t know,” the Messianic officer said. “Obama has not been bad for Israel. At least we know where he stands.”

The faith elements of the upcoming US elections are fascinating. Both vice presidential candidates are confessing Catholics, the incumbent president is perceived as a Muslim, and a Mormon is making a serious bid for the White House.

Israelis, however, will not be judging Mitt Romney, or any other candidate, on their faith, theology or church attendance. Israelis just don’t have that option. Israel will be looking at the actions of any candidate that shows good faith and understanding of Israel’s predicament. Matters of personal faith they leave to God.

‘Obama and the Threat to Israel’: See the ‘Absolutely Uncertain’ Video That’s Gotten 650K Hits in Three Days

Absolutely Uncertain: Obama, Israel and the Nuclear Threat

A roughly 20-minute YouTube video analyzing President Obama’s relationship with Israel, narrated by a 23-year-old former Obama supporter, has gone viral. In just three days, the little-reported on video “Absolutely Uncertain” has logged roughly 650,000 hits.

Irina, the 23-year-old “Jewish New Yorker” who narrates much of the documentary, explains that she has always seen American-Israeli relations as a cornerstone of American politics, reaching into both parties.

“So when it was time for me to vote for the first time in 2008, I didn’t doubt for a moment that the strong relationship would continue, no matter who won,” she states.

Adding that many of her fellow students also had “confidence” in President Obama, Irina explains that the more she learns about politics and the Middle East, the more she doubts President Obama’s ready commitments to Israel’s security.

“I don’t know how many people realize this, but today, Israelis are lining up for gas masks and cleaning out their bomb shelters,” Irina begins.

On Obama’s promises that Iran will be stopped and the Middle East is becoming more “democratic,” the young woman simply says: “I’m not sure I believe it anymore.”

Alternating with a clip of Obama saying he has Israel’s “back,” Irina says: “When I stop to think about the situation and the possible outcomes, it really scares me. Rather than doing what we can to make Israel safer, we have allowed Iran’s nuclear program to inch toward the point of no return.”

“I’m just not sure the president really does have Israel’s back, and I know I’m not alone.”

Harvard’s Alan Dershowitz and others then weigh in: “The great fear…is that a second Obama term could be more dangerous for Israel than the first Obama term.”

Irina continues: “Israel may soon find itself fighting for its very survival once again. And while I am proud that Israel is strong enough to defend itself, I’m extremely disappointed that President Obama has managed to put Israel in an even more difficult situation than it needs to be.”

The Legendary evidence that 88 foot Menorahs lit the Skyline of Jerusalem during Succot in the 1st century CE

Destination Yisra’el recently revealed the hidden wars of the globalists that are battling for world dominion.  One of these major battles is to take control of the Temple Mount from the Labor Zionist State of Israel and to put it into the hands of the of the winning party in the “Chess Game for World Dominion”.

What was interesting is that discussion are being entertained by rabbinic sources in Jerusalem and the Vatican seeking to return access of ancient golden menorahs hidden in the secret vaults of Vatican Rome back to the custody and control of the Jews.

If you were puzzled with the plurality of the word, “menorahs” you were correct in your observations. It appears that there were several and maybe numerous golden menorahs that may have been part of the 1^st century Temple of Herod Jerusalem culture.

The first shocking remark is the fact that “The Temple of Herod Menorah” may in fact not be in existence today, if the testimony is true as revealed in the Destination Yisra’el article titled, “The Vatican Globalists offer Jewish Golden Menorahs for a Temple and Control of the Temple Mount”.

Destination Yisra’el – “Word has also now come back from the Vatican archives about the fate of the Menorahs taken from the Temple of Solomon by troops of the Roman Emperor Titus. According to a senior Vatican archivist, the original Menorahs from the temple were melted down and turned into small statues that were distributed amongst various Romans and thus cannot be returned to the temple.

However, the Vatican also has several solid gold Menorah’s dating back to the time of Jesus that they say they would be willing to hand over to an honorable group of Torah Jews. The Talmudic Jews, whose belief system is Babylonian and Sumerian but not Jewish, would not be considered qualified to receive the Menorahs, the Vatican sources say.”

What a surprise this must be! Are we reading the truth, that there are “several solid gold Menorahs” that date back to the 1^st century Temple of Herod era that are today and for centuries been under the control of the Vatican?

This fact may truly be true. Let us look at an ancillary source of history that was written during the 2012 “High Holiday” season, in the Destination Yisra’el article titled, “Celebrating the Ancient Solomon Temple’s Simchat Beit Hashoeva (“Water Drawing Ceremony”)”. 

Here we learned that in the ancient days before the Temple of Herod was destroyed, there were numerous golden menorahs fifty cubits high that illuminated the Jerusalem night time atmosphere during the glorious holiday season of Sukkot.  This was especially during the “Water Drawing Ceremony” called the Simchat Beit Hashoeva”.  As described in the l’Chaim weekly article title, “The Water Drawing Ceremony”:

I’Chaim weekly – “One of the most joyful celebrations in Israel was the Drawing of the Water during Sukkot. The Sages noted that "Whoever never witnessed the Simchat Beit Hashoeva has never in his life seen true joy." They have left us wonderful descriptions of the scenes that inspire us with longing to witness it once again.

How was the ceremony conducted? A golden container was filled with water drawn from the pools at Siloam in Jerusalem. When the water carriers reached the Water Gate, they blew three notes on the shofar.

On the right side of the ramp leading to the altar, there were two silver bowls, each with a hole shaped like a narrow spout, one wider than the other. One bowl stood to the east and the other to the west. The shapes of the bowls allowed them to be emptied simultaneously. (The wider spouted bowl held wine, which flows more slowly than water.)

As the evenings of the festival approached, the people made their way down to the Court of the Women. There were golden candlesticks, fifty cubits high, with four gold bowls atop them. Four ladders led to the top of each candlestick, and four young kohanim mounted the ladders, holding in their hands large jars of oil which they poured into the golden bowls. Wicks to light the oil were made from worn-out clothing of the kohanim, and when the candlesticks were lit, the light glowed throughout the entire city of Jerusalem.

The greatest Sages and Tzaddikim would participate joyfully in the celebration, performing the most extraordinary feats. Some of them would bear burning torches in their hands while singing Psalms and other praises of G-d. The Levites would play many various musical instruments, including harps, lyres, cymbals, and trumpets as they stood on the fifteen steps which led down from the Court of Women in the Holy Temple.

Two kohanim were stationed at the Upper Gate of the Temple, holding trumpets in their hands. As the roosters crowed the first light of dawn, they blasted their trumpets, and as they ascended the steps, they blew two additional rounds of tekiah's. They continued walking until they reached the gate which led to the east, whereupon they turned to face the west and uttered the words: "We belong to G-d and our eyes are turned to G-d."

The Sages relate that when the great Sage, Rabbi Shimon ben Gamliel rejoiced at the water festival, he would juggle with eight lighted torches, tossing them into the air, catching one and then throwing another, so that they never touched each other. He would also prostrate himself on the ground, bend down, doing a head-stand, kiss the ground and draw himself up again, a feat which no one else could do.

The Talmud relates many of these displays of prowess which the Sages performed at the Simchat Beit Hashoeva. They record that Reb Levi used to juggle in the presence of Rabbi Yehuda HaNassi with eight knives. Shmuel would do the same with eight glasses of wine, without spilling any of their contents. Rabbi Abaye would juggle before Rabbi Rabba with eight (or some say, four) eggs.

It is written in the name of Rabbi ben Chanania, "When we used to rejoice at the place of the water-drawing, our eyes saw no sleep." It is explained that the entire day was occupied with holy activities, so that the participants in the Simcha were busy from day to night.

In the morning the sacrifice was brought, followed by prayers, and then an additional sacrifice. Then they would study Torah and eat breakfast. Afternoon prayer was following by the evening sacrifice and then the water-drawing festivities commenced. The celebration of the Simchat Beit Hashoeva continued throughout the entire night, lighting up the city so brilliantly that there was no courtyard in Jerusalem which didn't reflect the light of the great candlesticks which illumined the Festival of the Water-Drawing.”

This must have been an amazing scene during the Succot season in 1^st century CE Jerusalem. These glorious menorahs that were 50 cubits tall, or 87.5 foot tall (1 cubit equally 1.75 feet), lit up the entire ancient city of David. They “brilliantly” reflected upon every courtyard and each private succah in the city of Jerusalem.

The day will come when Jerusalem will become the capital of Planet Earth. Thousands of years ago the biblical sages of the Torah predicted a wave of assimilation by the Jewish people close to the period that the sages foresaw their return to their biblical homeland in Israel after a lengthy and bitter exile. Following this wave of assimilation the sages predicted a mass Holocaust of the Jewish people following this Holocaust they predicted the Jews would return to their homeland which would be given to them as a gift by the leaders of the world.

Sadly this spiritual deterioration was predicted to continue after their repatriation in the holy land. This was predicted to be followed by a number of wars. Reb Aharon Rubin – “The purpose of creation was so that G-d could give of Himself. G-d, the Ultimate Source of all Goodness, wishes to do the Ultimate Good. Since He is the Ultimate Good, that act of Ultimate Goodness is to share Himself, thus bestowing His Prime Goodness; to do that, He withdrew, as it were, or hid His Presence and created man with free-will and the intelligence and wherewithal to find Him.

After humanity and the world had fallen with the sin of Odom (Adam), Avrohom (Abraham), Yitschok (Isaac) and Yaakov (Jacob) were the first to truly seek, find and attach themselves to G-d, to become the ‘man’ that G-d could delight in and bestow His Presence on them. Because of them, G-d chose in their descendants to be the nation within the sea of humanity to bring His Presence into the world, to reveal It within the physical, to complete G-d’s purpose and Will and enable Him to Grant His Unity to His Children. With the acceptance of the Torah, they proved themselves to be the true descendants of Avrohom, Yitschok and Yaakov.

On Rosh HaShonnoh we proclaimed the Creator, our King. We brought His presence closer. We blew the sound of redemption. We brought closer the correction of the world and the ushering in of His Revelation to all humanity.

On Yom Kippur each of us personally became cleansed; we entered a spiritual washing machine, we clove to G-d like a child running back to a mother’s open embrace, hugging, crying, pleading, while the mother presses the child close to her bosom. And as we pressed ourselves close to G-d, G-d wrote our names on His Heart, as it were, sealing us to Himself, everlasting life.

On Succot G-d says, you have come so close to Me, stay with Me, sit with Me, bask in My Presence, become One with Me; here is a Mitsvoh [Sukkoh] that gives you a taste of Olom Haboh, the world hereafter. And here is a Mitsvoh [the four species] that represents Myself in this world.

You know that My goal is the complete revelation of My Presence to the entire world, למען דעת כל עמי הארץ כי ד' הוא האלקים אין עוד – that all nations will recognize and know that G-d is the Prime Force, there is nothing else. You, My children, are always My Prime Thought. Everything I do in the world is because of you and I guide everything towards the time when all nations will declare the G-d of Israel is King and rules over all and there is none like His people Israel. The revelation of My Glory will come about through you, My beloved Children.

During the holiday of Succot G-d says to take the four species in our hands. The four made up of seven (1) represent My seven lights (2) that are hidden within My Four-lettered Name through which I continually renew and guide the world (3). Take these lights and become one with Me. The six directions around you are the six main ways that I connect with the world and draw it closer to that Revelation of My Everlasting Kindness and Glory. The seventh point is you, my children, whom I have chosen to be the catalyst for that revelation. You are thus always on My Heart.

So as you are one with Me, and guide these seven lights from the six directions, all towards the seventh [the heart], so I am doing: drawing down Supernal Lights of Everlasting Love from the point that transcends creation from which I renew creation, drawing those lights down arousing My Love to connect with the world through each of My six attributes (4), and building the structure that will be speedily revealed, the revelation of My Kingdom on earth.”
