With all the international attention on the Israeli
Settlements in the Shomron and Judea regions, one wonders which of the Israeli
Prime Ministers was the most dynamic builder of towns and villages for the
Israeli people in the strategic mountains of Central Israel? These figures were ranked and reported on Channel
10 News and the Jewish Press in Israel on January 16, 2013 and here are the
surprising results.

Shimon Peres has been known as the ultimate
globalist. As a Jesuit trained Jew, he tried valiantly to give away Jerusalem
to the Vatican with the Oslo Accord, but the hand of G-d prevented it from
happening. Even so, for serving for less than a year as prime minister of
Israel, Shimon Peres was probably per month the most prolific builder in Israel
according to the construction statistics, yet we do not know the tenders for
buildings that were not completed.
Ehud Barak, in spite of his reputation of
destroying outposts and isolated communities appears to be also one of the most
prolific builders in the last five administrations. At the same time, he almost
gave away the entire region of Shomron and Judea to Arafat and the Palestinians
but, Arafat refused and gave Israel instead the 2nd Palestinian
Intifada and spilled the blood of over 1,000 Jews by suicide bombers.
Benjamin Netanyahu was a great builder in his first
three year term in office and only a third as many homes built in his second
three year term. He worked so hard for a Palestinian State Agreement that he
gave up 80% of ancient biblical city of Hebron to the Palestinian government
plus control over the Tomb of the Patriarchs to Yasser Arafat. The Hebron
Protocol was a complex framework that would have implemented eventually the
Oslo II agreement and a Palestinian State. Yet, the Israeli people were not
with him and he lost his bid for his next term in office to Shimon Peres.
Returning back to politics ten years later, we notice a
significant drop in the building construction of Prime Minister Netanyahu. The primary reason was that he stopped
all building construction for over 10 months to honor the Palestinian’s desire
for a peaceful transition into a national state under one condition; accept the
sovereign State of Israel and the Jewish people to live in peaceful coexistence
with each other. Abbas refused.
The last two years were still dismal in housing tenders
rendered yet 30% of the tenders never became Jewish homes for Israelis to live
in them.
With 2013, a new beginning of a new term in office, Netanyahu
quickly promised up to 3,000 new home starts, part in retaliation with the
Palestinians going before the United Nations to become a non-member observer
state. Will these be just tenders or actual new homes build in Israeli soil? To honor his commitments to the Israel
people, will he allow them to build their own homes that have clear titles and
will not be taken away from them by false claims of Palestinian ownership and
international pressure?
Ariel Sharon for all his bravado of being a
friend of the Jewish settlers was a remarkably poor supporter of Israeli homes
and their construction over the five years he served as Prime Minister. Even so
he became renowned for his unilateral 2005 disengagement of which 10,000
Israelis were forcibly evacuated and sent into exile from their homes,
nurseries, and synagogues in Gush Katif in the Gaza region. This supposedly
tide of Muslim affirmation that would come by Sharon’s gesture to the Gaza
people was swept up by the rising tide of the militant Muslim Brotherhood
called the Hamas who took over Gaza in 2006. These were the dark years of
modern Israeli history. The judgment of G-d against Sharon has left him in a
vegetative state of living death since that day.
Even worse, during Ehud Olmert’ three year term, he
was the one prime minister who almost gave away the entire region of Samaria
and Judea and half of Jerusalem to the Palestinians. He apparently desired to
do so without real pressure from the international community.
Once again the hand of G-d ‘hardened the hearts of the
Palestinian leaders.’ He was a poor
military strategist and triggered an Islamic militant resurgence against the
State of Israel, which Netanyahu had had to cope after the 2009 Hizbullah-Lebanon
War against Israel; a war apparently guiding by Rome and the international
community and halted by the Rome Accord in the fall of 2009 with left United
Nations observers watching Israel but not necessarily protecting her from
Islamic terrorists.

What is most interesting, do we notice that the building
tenders initiated by both Prime Ministers Ehud Olmert and Benjamin Netanyahu
approved were about the same number for the construction of new Jewish homes in
the Shomron and Judean settlements? Yet, the administration of Ehud Olmert
built 115% more homes than the tenders he granted. Netanyahu built only 70% of
the homes from the tenders his administration granted.
Do these facts suggest that Netanyahu publically announced more
tenders than he knew his administration would allow to be built into homes? It
is true that Benyamin Netanyahu began his administration in Israel about the same
time as Barak Hussein Obama’s administration did in 2009 in America. The
international “lovers of Israel” have watched with dismay as the American White
House has become progressively dismissive and later abusive to Prime Minister
Netanyahu. Politically taking the taking the brunt of the world opinion on the
housing tenders in which his administration has granted, the facts on the
ground have witnessed that there were 45% less homes built during Netanyahu’s last
administration.
It is known that the Netanyahu administration has
concentrated on building the infrastructure such as homes, schools, children’s
parks, and electrical, water and sewage resources for the building of new
communities. Will he now be willing to
build more homes, or just publically grant the building tenders and not build
the homes?
Yet, we notice that Ariel Sharon issued 5,293 tenders over
five years of which only 1,826 homes were constructed. This was a very poor
showing for a prime minister who began politics and became known as the “Father
of the Jewish settlement movement.” As Daniela Weiss, West Bank Settlement
mayor once stated:
Daniela Weiss - “Ariel Sharon can be
definitely be considered historically as the “Daddy of the Settlement
Movement.” There is “Father” and there’s
“Daddy. I use the term “Daddy” because he accompanied us, taking us by the hand
from one hill to the other.”
It appeared that Sharon lost his vision, and his bravery of
committing himself to the defense of the Jewish settlers.

explains his settlement policy as follows:

Sharon - “In my opinion what determines our fate for many generations to come
are the Jewish settlements. Without underestimating the importance of war and
military combat in the defense of our country, I think that in establishing
settlements in the Galilee, in the Negev, in the Golan Heights, in Judea and
Samaria, in the Jordan Valley and in the Gaza Strip I had the privilege as the
chairman of the Settlement Affairs Ministers Committee and as the Defense
Minister to decide about the establishing 230 settlements all over Israel, more
than 60 of which in the Galilee. To me, the settlements are the most important
thing.
Even
back when I was on the banks of the Suez Canal, at the end of the Six-Day War
in 1967, after my division fought and broke the Egyptian formation in Um Katef,
I sent a telegram to the Infantry School in Israel ordering to move it, or
units of it, to the nearest Jordanian base in Nablus. Later, when I returned to
the General Headquarters in my position as Head of Training Department, I moved
other bases as well… This was the foundation of the Jewish settlement in Judea
and Samaria… It started under the Labor government of Rabin and Peres, with Kedumim
and Elkana.
Moving
the army bases was indeed what created the settlement map. Part of Nahal’s
Basic Training Camp to Mevo Dotan, Infantry School to a base near Nablus, Horon
Military Base, Military Police HQ was moved to Kadum, which is now Kedumim,
Artillery Basic Training Camp was moved to Dir Sharf, which is now Shavey
Shomron, Basic Training Camp 4 was moved to Beit El, Paratroopers Base to Beit
Sahur near Beit Lehem, Engineering Base to Gush Etzion, Engineering Basic
Training Camp to Adorayim, between Hebron and Dahariya, and to the Jordan
Valley.
This is
how the map was created. Later, in 1977, when the large settlement campaign
began, in that night when 12 settlement groups of Gush Emunim began building
their settlements, each group was directed according to the settlement map
which was based on the location of those army bases. Those army bases were the
first places to which Gush Emunish’s settlement groups entered.
The most important motive for settlement is historic. It was a mistake, of mine
too, that for 30 years I did not stress enough the historic significance of
establishing settlements in Judea and Samaria. This is indeed the birthplace
of the Jewish people, and feeling your rights, which is a crucial component of
security, depends first and foremost on the fact that you live in a place
that’s yours.
To
think that only the security factor is important was a mistake. Throughout the years, when I explained why Israel should
keep Judea and Samaria and other regions, I emphasized only security reasons.
While it is true that there’s no alternative to the minimal depth problem,
there’s always the possibility that someone would say: ‘To solve this security
problem we grant you such and such aid or guarantees or means to cope.’ The
security issue is of a temporary nature and a moot point, while the historic
issue, which is the real issue, if far stronger than anything else. It was a
mistake. Not a personal, but rather a Zionist one.
The
center of attraction to Israel is the Bible stories. The holidays, the seasons,
the landscapes – everything is historic. Mearat
Hamachpela (Tomb of the Patriarchs) – what nation in the world has such a
monument, of almost 4,000 years, where the forefathers are buried, Abraham and
Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, Jacob and Leah? We come to the United States and see
Jefferson’s tomb and the Lincoln Memorial, and millions of people come and
observe with excitement a thing that is 200 years old. And here we see sites
that are thousands years old. This element gives power and a feeling that you
have a right.”
Someday that vision will be restored, but it may take a
hundred million refugees from the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel embracing
the courage to personally join forces with the Jews in Israel and assisting in not only
holding on to Eretz Yisrael (Land of Israel), but also to settle the lands of “Greater
Israel.” This will establish “on the ground’ a new spiritual reality that the
days of the messiah are here.

The creation of the new government by
Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu had barely been completed and waiting the nod
from Shimon Peres, the President of Israel, when the United Nations Human
Rights Council published its first report on Israel’s global settlement
policy. They called Israel’s national
plan a “creeping annexation” of territory predicated upon their assumption that
it violated the human rights of the Palestinian peoples.
Though these reports have no
international binding legitimacy, they further alienated the Palestinians from
the Israeli people, calling for all construction to “immediately halt” In the
West Bank. Then Palestinian government
had no concern about legal or international binding proclamations so they had
already hinted that this report would be used by them to initiate legal action
at The Hague for prosecution against Israel for “war crimes.”
As the report that was sent to the
47-nation council stated, the investigators at the UN Human Rights Council
claim that the humanitarian laws under the Fourth Geneva Convention were
violated. This same law was part of one of the treaties that laid the ground
rules for “human rights” on what was considered “humane” during times of war.
So building homes for Jewish people is a
“crime against humanity” that is valid only against “times of war” and now can
be classified as “war crimes?” Yet, history
will attest that it has been the Palestinians in Gaza and Hizbullah in Lebanon
that have declared wars in the past, in 2006 and in December 2012, not the
Israeli people or its government. At the same time the members of the UN Human
Rights Council that are making the charges against Israel area also are representatives
of nations with huge human rights violations; China, Saudi Arabia, Uganda and
Cuba!
The UN Human Rights
Council stated that this “thematic report on Israel's settlements was the
first historical look at the government's policy since 1967. Prior human rights reports have look also at
the Israel settlements but through the narrow lens of a specific even such as
the 2009 war in the Gaza Strip that was started by hundreds of missiles aimed
at Jewish hometowns, cities and schools.
This later paved the way for the larger Hizbullah War
against Israel that started with abduction and killing of Israeli soldiers by

that establishing homes in the lands that the G-d of Israel gave the “title and
deed of trust” to the Hebrew, Children of Israel 3,600 years ago is now being
challenged in the world councils and world courts as a violation of
international law.
With the charges of “settlements are illegal”, “Israel’s
obligation under the Road Map”, “Israel never cooperated”, Israel occupied
Palestine”, “weapon for the Palestinians against Israel”, “international
charges against Israel to The Hague International Criminal Court”, “Israeli
forced transfer of Palestinians’ and Israel’s policy of ethnic cleansing”
facing the Nation of Israel, there is no doubt that the nations of the world
are plotting against Israel and against the G-d of Israel. This reminds us more
succinctly when Zechariah the Prophet wrote these words 2,500 years ago.
Zechariah 12:2 – “Behold, I am
making Jerusalem a coup of poison for all the peoples all around…It shall
be on that day that I will make Jerusalem for all the peoples a burdensome
stone, all whose bearers become lacerated; and all the nations of
the world will gather against it.”
Today there are over a half a million Israelis living in the
settlements within Shomron (Samaria) and Judea, which the Arabs called the
“West Bank” that is across the Jordon River from the Palestinians real
homeland, the “East Bank” in the Nation of Jordan. These disputes have been legally demolished
by Israel international law experts such as Ambassador Alan Baker that recently
proclaimed in the Women in Green’s Conference that “Israel has the
Historic Right to Build in Samaria and Judea” yet at the U.N. headquarters in
New York, Secretary–General Ban Ki-moon also repeated one of his continuous
statements against Israel:
UN Secretary–General Ban Ki-moon – “All
settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territory, including east
Jerusalem, is illegal under international law. It also runs contrary to Israel’s
obligations under the Road Map.”
Destination Yisra’el – “It was in July 4, 2012 that a retired
High Court Judge and his panel in which he presided issued a legal brief that
came to the conclusion that the Israeli Settlements are not “Occupation” and
International Law allows Jews the privilege to live in Judea and Samaria. The
legal panel included; former Supreme Court Justice Edmond Levy, Circuit Judge
Techia Shapira and internationally renowned legal jurist Dr. Allan Baker.
In
one swift move, the revolutionary legal document shifted the view of the
international community away from the international media attention that Israel
is an “apartheid” state because of the “occupation” of the Palestinian people
living in Shomron and Judea, a region known as the “West Bank” to the rest of
the world.
The
legal panel noted that the Nation of Jordan took sovereignty control over most
of the region of Judea and Samaria after the 1948 Declaration of Independence
and the subsequent 1948 War of Independence, a move that also was not
recognized by the international community. Therefore the State of Israel did
not “occupy” this same land when they went to war in defense against five Arab
states intent on the annihilation of the Jewish people.
The
committee analyzed the historic and legal background of Judea and Samaria. They
concluded that the “belligerent occupation approach” by the State of Israel
must be abandoned and reflect Israel’s legal status in those areas. It also
noted that Jordan’s assumed sovereignty over most of Judea and Samaria after
the 1948 War for Independence was not legally recognized by the international
community. The legal sovereignty of Samaria and Judea was recognized only by
Great Britain. Therefore the State of Israel did not “occupy” the same land
during the Six-Day War in 1967 when Israel launched a surprise raid bombing
raid against Egyptian air-fields, the Jordanian-controlled West Bank, and
aerial clashes over Syrian territory in the Golan Heights.”
It is interesting that a judge from France, Christine
Chanet, the European country known as the “Daughter of Rome’s Vatican” actually
heads the human-rights council panel. To gather their fact-finding
dis-information, the UN panel traveled to Jordan and interviewed over 50 people
there. They claim that they did not go to Israel because as Judge Chanet
charged “Israel never cooperated with the probe.” The purported Israeli
violations committed by the Jewish settlers included: “violence by Jewish
settlers against Palestinians and the confiscation of land and damage to olive
trees that help support Palestinian families.”
Another panel member, Pakistani lawyer Asma Jahangir, said
the settlements "seriously impinge on the self-determination of the
Palestinian people, an offense under international humanitarian law.” Yet, not one
Israeli settler was interviewed about the violence of the Palestinian people
who enter Israeli homes and murder entire families, throw rock upon cars that murder
young innocent Jewish children, the evicting and evacuating thousands of
settlers out of homes, razing them to the ground, on land in which they legally
purchased, mortgaged and then built, and the overwhelming evidence that most of
the damage to the olive trees are done by Palestinians against Jewish orchards,
with film support to document the evidence.
From all appearance, there was no attempt to be “fair and
balanced” and look at the grievances on both sides of the conflict where the
Jewish settlers are attacked by Palestinians, while they are working in their
fields and orchards, building their own homes, or even walking down nature
walks, where in many of these instances Jewish blood has been spilled and
numerous have died by those peoples (in Gaza and surrounding territories)that the
G-d of Israel proclaims have “blood in his mouth” and “abomination between his
teeth” (Zechariah 9:7).
Yet, as if seeking to incite an international event, French
Judge Chanet called the report, a kind of ‘weapon for the Palestinians’” if
they want to take their grievances before The Hague-based International
Criminal Court. To that effect, PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi
stated that they will do such an act:

Ashrawi – “The settlements are a form of ‘forced transfer’ and a proof of
Israel's policy of ‘ethnic cleansing.’”
Not only that, it is not just any nation, but the ancient Philistines
who fought against Kings Saul and David, have now been resurrected today as the
modern Palestinians that are fulfilling their prophetic image and destiny to
perfection. For those who don’t believe in “conspiracy theories”, take note;
for the G-d of Israel does, for peoples and nations are truly conspiring
against Israel.
This fact alone was spoken as a literal historical imagery
3,000 years ago when the Psalmist wrote about the Philistines and their rage
against G-d’s anointed, King David and 3,000 years later when this same test
will be fulfilled again with the future anointed one, the Maschiah ben Dovid,
(Messiah son of David):
Psalms 2:1-12 - “Why do nations
gather (in rage), and regimes talk in vain?
The kings of the earth take their stands and the princes
conspire secretly, against HaShem and against His anointed (the ‘anointed
king’): ‘Let us cut their cords and let us cast off their ropes from
ourselves.’
He Who sits in heaven will laugh and
the L-rd will mock them. Then He will speak to them in His anger, and in His
wrath He will terrify them: I, Myself, have anointed My king, over Zion, My
holy mountain!’”
It was on November 30, 2012 that the United Nations General
Assembly endorsed by a vote of 138 in favor, 9 against, and 31 abstaining that
included France, Spain, and Germany, the recognition of the Palestinian status
from a “non-member observer entity” to a “non-member observer state.”
With their minds elated with zeal, Palestinian people in the
West Bank were “elated” but this vote elevation was “largely symbolic” and it
infuriated Israel significantly. With
the constant agitation and the propagating of war and violence against the
“sheep of Israel”, it was only a few days into December that the Palestinians
accused Israel of planning more "war crimes" by expanding settlements
when after hundreds of rockets and missiles fired upon their the Jewish people,
the IDF selectively targeted for eight days the military facilities of Hamas in
Gaza and its leaders.
It was in 2006 that the Geneva-based U.N. Human Rights
Council replaced the prior 60-year-old commission whose proclamations were
universally discredited for its panels were dominated by nations with
significantly poor human rights records to their own people and foreigners
within their own country. Three years
later in 2009, the United States joined the council.
After this vote by the UN Human Rights Council, the U.S.
State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland reported that while all countries
should appear for their review, “we (the United States) also consistently
registered our opposition to the council's consistent anti-Israel bias.”
With the “8-day War with Gaza” occurring two weeks before
the UN Human Rights Report was released, as they were fighting in defense of
their own people from being attacked by Hamas Muslim Brotherhood militants in
Gaza, the scheduled Israeli elections and upon the recommendation of Israel’s
diplomatic Corp, the State of Israel became the first nation to skip a review
of its human rights record by the council.
According to the United Nations, all 193 member nations are
required to submit a review every four years. If the nations of the world were
so concerned about whether an Israeli or a Palestinian had the right to build a
home on a certain bit of property, and called this “ethnic cleansing” and “war
crimes” the rest of the world was judged, it appeared with a different standard
of justice.
In
the 2013 report, most nations received some human rights violation and
recommendations but non received the international condemnation as the Israeli
government.
Russian had the worse year
of human rights violations since the USSR collapse in the early 90s. It was Sergei Markov, Director of the Center for
Political Research believed that the Human Rights Watch is a great organization
and routinely paints an objective picture, that is if it does not included;
Israel, China, Russia or the United States. The reason for this is the fact
that these four countries are in the “crosshairs of major political forces and
it’s impossible that analysts can be completely impartial when talking about
these countries from a political standpoint.”
The Pakistani government
and its military and intelligence agencies were sharply criticized for failing
to reduce human rights abuses especilally with religious minorities who bore
the brunt of killings and repression.
Internally, though, Israel in its dealings with the Palestinians
and Bedouins live to a higher standard of justice, but both of these
populations groups have no affinity to live according the laws and justice of
Israeli civilian life. Consider how America would be if Mexican nationals
living in the United States were denoted suicide bombs in American market
places and had 50,000 missiles pointing towards the southern states of
America? Yet, the G-d of Israel has
proclaimed that there will be a day when the Ishmaelite descendants of Abraham
will live in harmony with the Jewish people. By the time that day come, the
redemption of the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel will be complete. They
will also be home, but this time as a friendly and supportive brothers and
sisters of the 12-Tribes of Israel. May that day come quickly!

When
Israel and Jordan signed a peace treaty in 1994, special arrangements were made
for a parcel of land near Naharayim and Kibbutz Ashdot Ya’acov. Although the
land belonged to Israel for decades and had been farmed there by Israeli
settlers; under the treaty it was transferred to Jordan.
Then,
in a spirit of cooperation, it was leased back to Israel so that settlers could
continue cultivating their fields. From that time on, visitors were warmly
welcomed to the Israeli enclave inside the Kingdom of Jordan, and the amicable
agreement was tangible proof that peaceful coexistence could be a reality. The
so-called island became known as the Isle of Peace.
Nearly
three years later, a group of schoolgirls from Beit Shemesh participated in an
outing to Naharayim and the Isle of Peace. The girls and their unarmed teachers
were standing on a hill above an abandoned lake in the enclave when a Jordanian
soldier aimed his weapon in their direction and pulled the trigger. Seven girls
were killed in the massacre.
Following
that tragic event, the late King Hussein made an unprecedented trip to each of
the victims’ homes to express his personal sorrow and the grief of his nation. Eventually,
new security arrangements were finalized that ensured the safety of
contemporary Israeli visitors.
Naharayim
(“two rivers”) is an unusually exciting site. For, besides the Isle of Peace, a
lovely overlook, and a striking memorial garden dedicated to the memory of the
seven young victims, it features a walk to the Yarmouk and Jordan Riversthat
give this site its name. After a good rain, or a blessedly wet winter, their
waters churn so tumultuously that I once heard a visitor liken the sight to Niagara
Falls!
Access
to the Isle of Peace is possible only with a guide from Ashdot Yaakov, which
runs a kiosk and information center at Naharayim. The tour goes into the
enclave and crosses several bridges that Jewish forces blew up during the War
of Independence in order to limit the movements of Iraqi forces. It also
includes a view of Israeli farmers working the land, a deserted lake, a strange
railroad station, and the electrical plant built there by Pinhas Rutenberg in
the 1920s.
Known
as both the Old Man of Naharayim and the Father of Israeli Electricity, Pinhas
Rutenberg was born in Czarist Russia in 1879. He was a fiery revolutionary who
served for a short time in the Provisional Government after the ousting of the
czar, but he was imprisoned when radical Bolsheviks took over the country in
October 1917. At some point he was transformed from an assimilated Jew into a
fervent Zionist and, upon his release in 1918, headed straight for the Land of
Israel.
Rutenberg,
an innovative hydraulic engineer with a genius for organization, carried out a
thorough survey and developed an ambitious plan for establishing power stations
all over the country. But when Rutenberg asked the British mandatory government
for a concession to Palestine’s water sources so that he could build the dams
and power plants he’d envisioned, he found himself faced with stiff opposition.
Adversaries included the Arabs and assorted anti‑Zionists, as well as
detractors who vilified him as a communist because of his Russian revolutionary
background and said he couldn’t be trusted.
But the multi-talented Rutenberg — who some
called a human dynamo — didn’t faze easily. He persisted, and in 1921 he was
granted a 70-year concession to generate electricity by harnessing many of the
water sources in Palestine. Soon afterwards, he began working on an enormous
project: the first big hydroelectric power station.
It
was to be located near the southern edge of Lake Kinneret, at the point where
the Yarmouk River meets the fabled Jordan. Here Rutenberg could take advantage
of the Yarmouk’s heavy flow during floods. And he would also borrow from the
perennial waters of the Jordan, which itself is fed from the Kinneret and
springs in the Jordan valley.
Rutenberg
used a system of dams and channels to regulate the flow of water to his power
plant. There was also a lake, now an enormous empty pit filled with foliage,
which stored water for the summer months when the Yarmouk’s flow isn’t very
strong.
From
a security fence on the Isle of Peace, visitors gaze at the exterior of the
once magnificent power plant and its three large pipes. Water flowed into the
“Zero Canal,” eventually reaching the pipes and dropping sharply 27 meters to
the turbines inside the plant. The force of the water activated the turbines of
the power plant to create electricity for the entire north of Palestine. It
continued to operate until knocked out by Iraqi forces during the War of
Independence.
There
were two neighborhoods at Naharayim, one for Rutenberg and his clerks and
engineers, and another for the workers. Rutenberg didn’t believe in unions —
but if you worked hard you were set for life with medical care, schooling, food
and a place to live!
Building
of the plant commenced in 1927 and all was ready at the beginning of 1931. On
February 13, 1931, however, there was a huge flood and the canal burst. Water
poured into the power plant and sent a 60-ton turbine floating down south.
Everything in the plant was devastated.
Workers
were terrified that their cushy new lives were threatened, and offered to
rebuild the entire site for only room and board. Rutenberg agreed — but
insisted on paying salaries as well. A second February passed with no damage,
and on March 9, 1932, the new turbines began to operate. Naharayim, which
connected the entire north with the country’s first electric network, had begun
to roll!
On
the eve of the Arab invasion of Israel, in May of 1948, Golda Meir held a
secret meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah in an attempt to reach an agreement
that would avoid a war. A shed near the power plant is all that remains of the
fabulous Rotenberg villa in which the two met, for it was blown up by the
Israeli army in 1969, after Arab terrorists used the house as a base for launching
terrorist attacks on Israel.
One
last, unusual site on the Isle of Peace is a deserted railroad station located
out here in nowhere! Back in 1905, and for the next 40-odd years, a train ran
from Haifa to Damascus and, in the 1930s and ’40s, had a stop at Naharayim.
Like the power station, the railroad station was built with Jewish labor. It
was designed in Bauhaus (International 1930’s) style, with a notable lack of
ornamentation, rounded corners, and long, horizontal lines.
The
train was said to be so slow that you could jump off, pick a bouquet of
wildflowers, and climb back on without missing a beat. And it was often late,
which led annoyed passengers to leave graffiti on the walls. On April 1, 1939,
one of them scrawled the Hebrew equivalent of “Where the heck is the train???”
The G-d of Israel was
instrumental in bringing the Jewish people home after the Holocaust in the
mid-20th century. The Land of Israel which has archeologically
depicted the life of the ancient Hebrews for almost 4,000 years is also now
gaining archeological remain of it more modern early Jewish life in the Land of
Israel.
This Biblical
portrayal includes Prophecies that the Jews of House of Israel would return to
the lands of their forefathers. These same prophets also depict how the Lost Tribes
of the House of Israel will soon also return to the Land of their Biblical

On January 1, 2013, within week of
the 2013 Israeli Knesset elections, Alan Baker spoke at the “Women in Green
Conference” on the legality of the Jewish towns sprouting up in Samaria and
Judea. Ambassador Alan Baker is
recognized as one of Israel’s leading international law experts, served as
Legal Counsel and Deputy Director General of Israel’s Ministry for Foreign
Affairs between 1996 and 2004. This was followed by four years (2004-2008) as Israel’s
ambassador to Canada. He is presently the Director of the Institute for
Contemporary Affairs at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs.
Of
more recent, Alan Baker was asked to become a member of the committee
headed by Judge Edmond Levy to every all the international legal document son
the legality of regulating building communities in Judea and Samaria. This committee in what to known as the “Levy Report” would eventually agree that Israel would
be fully in its rights to do so.
According
to Alan Baker, the task of the Levy Committee was to appraise the global
construction of towns, industry and homes in the Shomron and Judea region and
to make recommendations to the government on how to proceed with these
recommendations. It was the purpose to establish the appropriate legal
procedures on how to authorize such construction in according to the law, for
the planning and zoning requirements in the settlement region of Judea and
Samaria was critical to the State of Israel.
One
of the critical reason for such a report has been that the only guiding
government document used by the Israeli government was the 2004 report authored
by an Israeli leftist attorney, Talia Sasson, who recommended that the
government of the State of Israel dismantle many of the new communities called
“outposts” in Judea and Samaria. Later, Talia Sasson ran for the public office
as an MK in the Israel Knesset as part of the “far-left Meretz Party.”
The
problem, according to Baker in his speech to the Women in Green organization
was due to the misconception of the fact that she had been asked by the former
Prime Minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon to prepare a report on “unauthorized
outposts”. When the report was completed, the “unauthorized outposts” suddenly
became “illegal outposts” which made every pioneering Israeli citizen building
a home outside of the restricted regions zones for Jewish communities into
“criminals” in which they were truly “patriots of Israel.”
It
was then, after the Sasson report was published that the American Presidents
George Bush and later Barak Obama adopted this mantra that all these communities were illegal. As
Baker stated; “Not having authorization is not a crime…Or mission was to
clarify the situation and to make appropriate recommendations.”
The
committee diligently examined all the legal rights of the State of Israel to
build in Judea and Samaria. During these
hearings, the leftists groups who presented their documents to the committee
were solely intent on proving that only the Arab Palestinians had the right to
build on non-privately owned land in the region. Those claims were rejected by the committee
according to Baker.
It
was then at this time, that the Levy Committee, according to Baker, came to its
legal conclusions that “after extensive investigation, we determined that Judea
and Samaria were not legally “occupied.”
During the years between 1948 and 1967 while the British Mandate was the
force of law according to the League of Nations, even the Jordanian crown, who
declared that they had sovereign rights to rule of the “West Bank” region were
never recognized by the international organization such as the United Nations.
Therefore Jordan was not a “former sovereign.”
In
addition to the international dispute over Israeli control over Shomron and
Judea, Baker stated that “building by Israel in Judea and Samaria does not
violate the Geneva Convention.” As such
the current position of the United Nations who claims to represent the legal
opinion of the international community is truly a misinterpretation of the aims
of the founding drafters of the Geneva Convention.
Yet,
as unusual as it may seem, the State of Israel, representing the Jewish people,
do claim that they have a historic right to build in Judea and Samaria. In his conclusion, Allan Baker stated, “No
one can deny this historic right. There are non-legal documents, or treaties,
that attribute to the Palestinians sovereign rights to the region,” but there
are no legal documents that attributes that Palestinian sovereign right to the
region is legal and binding.
Supporting
the legality and strategic legitimacy of the region of Shomron and Judea,
Destination Yisra’el and Kol Ha’tor both share the vision that this entire
region will become the future homeland of the restored Lost Ten Tribes of the
House of Israel. Together with the Jews of the House of Judah, Klal Yisra’el
(All-Israel) will be redeemed and restored back to their tribal homelands in
peace and support for one another.
The Yesha Council - the
council of the Jewish communities of Judea, Samaria and Gaza have created this
graphic Three-dimensional Topographical
Map(in
Hebrew) which shows the danger to all living in the Land of Israel of having a
‘Palestinian state’ in Judea and Samaria. On this pictorial map, it reflects
the idea that a “3-D map is worth a million words” and gives explanation on how
the strategic region of Judea and Samaria towering above the Gush Dan, the
region of Israel’s largest city, Tel Aviv, is critical to the safety and
defense of Israel; where millions of Israeli people live.
Even more so, the Golan Heights also is depicted towering over the Sea of Galilee
(Lake Kinneret) just as the mountains of Jordan stand much higher than the
Jordan Valley. The surrounding region of Jerusalem clearly depicts how hostile
forces on three sides of the city of Jerusalem are controlled by the
Palestinian forces. As former Yesha Council
Director-General and now the leader of the 4th largest Israeli
Political Party in Israel, Jewish Home, Naftali Bennet stated:

Bennet - “The map is designed to make clear to the citizens of greater Tel Aviv
that Judea and Samaria is not far away, but rather overlooks their back yards.
Most of the population is unaware of this, because maps are generally
two-dimensional. Residents of Kfar Saba and Raanana might not be happy to find
themselves literally under the thumb of a State of Palestine, and it’s time
they knew of this danger.”
Strategic
Facts about Samaria (Shomron or Yesha)
The mountains of Judea and
Samaria are the central mountain range of the Land of Israel, running 140
kilometers from the Jezreel Valley in the north to the Arad Valley in the
Negev.
The width of the Judea and
Samaria mountains is 55 kilometers, and the width of Israel’s coastal plain
near Tel Aviv is only 16 kilometers.
Yesha’s main north-south
route, Highway 60, is also the national watershed line, and runs mostly along
the same route taken by the Patriarchs in the Bible.
The mountain aquifer, which
supplies half of Israel’s water, is in Judea and Samaria.
It was two months earlier in November, 2012 that the Women
in Green movement called upon the Israeli government to begin plans to officially
annex the region of Judea and Samaria after the Palestinian Authority presented
an application to the United Nations’ General Assembly to approve their status
as a “non-member observer state.” In a
statement sent to media, WIG spokespersons Nadia Matar and Yehudit Katsover
quoted the founding prime minister of the Jewish State, David Ben Gurion, who
said:

Gurion - “What's important is not what the Nations say, but what the Jews do!”
After
the expected vote to approve the PA's application, the Women in Green movement
then called upon the “Israeli government to respond with the immediate
application of Israeli sovereignty over all Judea and Samaria” with these
words:
Women in Green – “The WIG movement is
supporting this request with a massive media and public campaign that is
headlined by the declaration that the application of sovereignty over Judea and
Samaria is a necessary step. Nothing can be more authentic, Zionist, justified,
and Jewish than such a move.”
Included
in the campaign was a short film from the WIG’s second conference whose theme
was for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Shomron and Judea that was
head in the summer of 2012 in Hevron (Hebron), called the “City of the
Patriarchs” that is most noted for its traditional burial site of the biblical
Patriarchs and Matriarchs of both the Jews and the Lost Ten Tribes of the House
of Israel. As such, this city is consider the second-holiest city in Judaiem
next to Jerusalem.
At
the “Sovereignty Conference” in Hebron, the noted guests of honor were Israeli
Minister Daniel Hershkowitz, Knesset MKs Elkin, Hotoveley, Regev, and Ariel, as
well as the Jewish public figures such as Geulah Cohen, Caroline Glick, Adv.
Dafna Netanyahu, Adv. Itzik Bam, head of the Samaria Regional Authority Gershon
Mesika, Yoram Ettinger, and Adv. Howard Grief.
The
WIG spokespersons Nadia Matar and Yehudit Katsover also rejected the cowardice
of the those who feared a hostile international response to the Israeli act of
applying Israeli sovereignty over the regions of Shomron and Judea. Their
response was simple, in the past the international community was hostile to the
fact of the application of sovereignty over Greater Jerusalem and over the
Golan Heights regions. As they retorted: “Just as the international opposition
passed then, so it will pass now.”
In
conclusion, there two patriots of Israel, both Matar and Katsover wrote:
Nadia Matar and Yehudit Katsover – “Two weeks
ago we saw that Israel has advanced defensive means (Eight Day War with Gaza in
December), but all of our sophisticated technology will be of no avail if we
will not internalize that “This is our land”…“The war over the Land of Israel
is a moral and justified one. We will win it. The command of the generations
beats within us, and the voice of the L-rd, in our ears: ‘I will give this land
to your offspring ... and to your offspring after you for an everlasting
possession.’”
The G-d of Israel is quietly
recreating the State of Israel to begin its final acts before the G-d of Israel
take full control of the Land of Israel.

Our previous Parashah (Weekly Torah Reading) related how
that Moses, until in his age eighty, never lived amongst his nation of birth,
the Hebrews (12 Tribes of Ya'acov) till he was called by G-d to go and release
the Hebrews from Egyptian slavery. We learned from this, that HaShem uses
whatever forces He wishes, in order to bring about Redemption and that we dare
not try and advise Him on that. We should rather adjust our outlook on
Redemption and broaden our scope to recognize His True Call and Actions towards
Redemption.
This week's Parashah links onto that by describing how, it
seems, even the great Moses did not realize that Redemption was indeed not a
simple process, according to his personal thinking and expectations. Again, it
is something that should be left to HaShem to steer - as HaShem reminds him
when he somewhat audaciously questions G-d "for bringing these troubles on
his people".
This Divine steering Process, according to numerous Bible
instances, are destined to go through an intensifying tribulation period. In
this way, as often referred to, it relates to birth pangs before the birth
takes place. Then, Joy steps in.
The Jewish Sage, the Gaon of Vilna in his book Kol HaTor
quotes a sentence from Psalms in this regard: “One who plants in tears, will
harvest in joy.” That is what the process of Redemption is all about, and there
is no getting around it.
All signs show that we are entering just such a period in
time, referred to in the Bible as the "Time of Jacob's Trouble."
Thereafter, Joyous Redemption will be the Wedding Feast Theme.
Our Torah Reading also relates such a period of great trials
before the enslaved Hebrew nation was released “to go and worship their G-d in
the wilderness.” Just as the ancient Hebrews were Divinely called out of Egypt
to the Promised Land, the Homeland of Ya'acov and the twelve Tribes, so today,
Jews and re-identifying Ten Tribers are being called out of spiritual 'Egypt',
the countries where they are exiled and had gone totally 'lost', back to the
Land Promised to Avraham and the Patriarchs.
Our Parashah is clear about what it is that prevented the
Hebrews from returning to their Land: two factors:
The stubbornness of the people, the Hebrews themselves, and
The stubbornness and hard heartedness of the Pharaoh who
wanted to keep them enslaved, i.e. cheap labor.
Now, Rabbis commonly refer to Pharaoh as a type and an
example of ourselves; individually.
The Talmud teaches us that “even when standing at the gates
of Hell, wicked people will remain unrepentant.” As such, we are all like
Pharaoh. The hardest thing for a person is to admit error; to change our
personal predisposition on preferential important matters; to reverse course.
These are very difficult challenges for people to deal with
as our personal ego's prevent it. It calls for repentance (teshuvah - to
admit error and turn around) - a much called for but seldom accepted and
practiced personal turn about. Our stubbornness, like a Pharaoh, prevents us
from dealing wisely and practically with circumstances which obstruct our
Return, physically and spiritually.
As we will show shortly, this Pharaoh culture of
stubbornness and hard heartedness is a wide-spread problem in both Judah (the
Jews) and 10-Israel (the re-awakening and re-identifying Lost Ten Tribes of
ancient Israel in exile across the globe). Like Pharaoh of old, this problem
presents the greatest stumbling block in the way of the Final Redemption, i.e.
the establishment of the re-united 12-Tribed Kingdom of Israel under the Rule
of Messiah ben David. Once this rebellion of Pharaoh against the Power and Will
of G-d is broken, the Redemption can take place and Peace can reign on earth.
To break this stubbornness of Pharaoh requires, as in this
Parashah, the Ten Plagues to totally destroy his ego and power. We will
highlight a few comparative features here, from our Parashah, to serve as a
mirror for our own images and attitudes. May this serve as directives for us
(both the House of Judah and the House of 10-Israel) to properly prepare for
the Redemption:
“Power always brings with it an
inflation of ego. Pharaoh cannot change course because doing so would deflate
his ego and weaken his perceived power base. His strength, his power, is really
his ultimate weakness. The great Pharaoh cannot admit his past mistakes for
then he would no longer feel himself to be the great Pharaoh.
“He is the victim of his own
position and the power that comes with it. Ordinary people, even his own
advisors, can admit to error and change course and policies. Not so the great
Pharaoh, who deems himself to be a god and above all other humans in his realm.
The more arrogant and prideful a
person is, the less likely it is that he or she will allow reality to alter
preconceived ideas and policies. Pharaoh is trapped in the web of his own
making.”
Can you see some of these traits in yourself?
Let us high-light it further. Pharaoh is carried away by his
own interests, his ruling power, his empire, his comfort zones. He can NOT let
another power interfere. He can NOT let his sources of cheap labor, kingdom
improvement and wealth (income) be dismantled.
Every individual has personal interests, assets, capital bases,
comfort zones and sources of income. Most of us are securely enslaved to it. We
are chained to it and fear the loss of it. Like a Pharaoh of Egypt, it resists
the freedom of our souls which are called to Return; spiritually and
physically. And in Torah terms, it most importantly includes physical Return to
the Land and to identifying with, and as, the Nation of the G-d of Israel.
Do you now start to recognize some of Pharaoh's traits in
you? Or are you already securely in the
Land and committed to HaShem's Cause?
Moshe spoke Hashem’s words to the enslaved Hebrews, “but
they did not heed Moshe, because of shortness of breath and hard work.” They
were caught up in their daily commitments and clinging to their ‘kingdoms.’ The
Rabbis teach that the majority of Hebrews remained in Egypt when their fellow
Hebrews left in the Exodus. They preferred to remain in their comfort zones.
Imagine, taking the road to an unknown Promised Land.
How many Bible believers today would leave their comfort
zones for a new start in a foreign Land - even if referred to as the Promised
Land in the Bible?
Resisting the Call to Return
The process of re-qualifying as a Ten Triber with a New
Hebrew Torah identity entails extricating oneself from enslavement in Egypt.
What is the biggest resistance factor in this process; Personal stubbornness,
lack of faith in the ‘Moses’ leadership AND a Pharaoh identity, resisting to let
the enslaved leave in freedom?
“The Torah tells us about the fertile Nile delta and the
material blessing with which ancient Egypt was blessed. The Egyptians were
granted these abundant resources in order to garner the bountiful crops that
their Nile yielded. They were supposed to use the Nile's refreshing waters to
nourish their blood supply and live spiritually meaningful lives.
However, this people became so debased, they turned the
source of Hashem's bounty into a source of idolatry by deifying the waters of
the Nile. They enveloped themselves in the darkness of the material world, and
were therefore afflicted with the plague of darkness."
Similarly, Jews who resist the Call to Return to Israel and
re-awakening Ten Tribers who resist the Call to fully identify with physical
Israel (which includes Spiritual Israel), have made their capital assets their
god (like the Nile for Egyptians); likewise their financial needs, their homes
and assets, and their infrastructures. Like in the land of Egypt, their daily
involvements have become their "country" - just like the Nile is the
reason for Egypt's existence. But HaShem assured the ancient Israelites,
through Moshe, that He certainly would bring them back to the Land. That, however,
would require “Ten Plagues” (Tribulation).
Thus, we have to expect this tribulation to come over us,
for G-d is intent on bringing us all Home.
The Secret is, that YOU can shorten the Tribulation - like
Pharaoh could have shortened it, had he yielded and not allowed his ego and
stubbornness to each time oppose their release.
The Rabbis point out that the famine in Yosef's time was
shortened because Ya'acov was allowed by Pharaoh to move to and settle in Egypt
for survival. The famine was subsequently even turned into great riches for the
Pharaoh because citizens had to sell their assets and homes to pay him for food
stocks which he had stored through Yoseph.
In this respect, the Rabbis point out an amazing change in
the nature of the Ten Plagues. The first five did not succeed to change
Pharaoh's hardened heart, for his magicians could imitate Moses' wonders. But
then G-d changed His approach and He hardened Pharaoh’s heart. So, from the 6th
plague onwards (the boils); when the magicians could not imitate Moses'
wonders. Pharaoh was still resistant, but this time because G-d had hardened
his heart (Exodus 9:12; 10:20, 27).
By the 9th Plague, Darkness set in, representing that all
Light (opportunity) had left. Pharaoh warned Moshe never to return, for he
would be killed. This was the end.
Pharaoh's opportunities (under the first 5 plagues) were
spent. He earned an unrelenting heart for that, which ultimately culminated in
the Plague of utter darkness. His opportunity to relent started with the 1st
plague, representing blood, which is the life stream of mankind which brings
life and enlightenment if correctly utilized. The Nile, god and sustainer of
the Egyptians, became blood - thus killing the life stream of Egypt to show
that the Creator God of Israel is the True Source of Life. But it would not
convince Pharaoh and humble him.
He lost every opportunity - until, from the 6th Plague
onwards, when G-d hardened his heart; there was no room for repentance and
utter Darkness set in. The Tenth Plague would force Pharaoh to release G-d's
People as He had promised them they would!
Ten Tribers today hear the Call of Moshe and of Yoseph
(representing the Hebraic Restoration spear point element in the Reawakening).
These souls may be Church goers, following what they believe the Bible is
teaching. They may be Sabbath observers, Jewish Feast Day observers - or simply
pro-Israel and pro-Jewish Christian Zionists; they may even be secular.
They are somewhere in the world as a result of their
forefathers having been exiled from the Land of Israel because of their
rebellion against the ‘Jewish’ Torah. They are confronted by some or other
format of the re-awakening Hebraic restoration Truths engulfing the earth.
Their souls are called BACK to their Hebrew Roots, back to the Land, but, like
a Pharaoh they resist, they refuse to bend and acknowledge to higher Truth;
they refuse to accept the ‘Messenger’ whom they proclaim ‘an Egyptian’, they
cling to their worldly comfort zone.
BEWARE! The Pleas that you encounter can start initially as
‘Blood of Life’, true Life, New Life, Eternal Life. Relent - before it turns
into utter Darkness!
Advanced Ten Tribers run another risk: Like a Pharaoh, they
can be proud hearted. They earned the Nile! - like Pharaoh who every morning
went down to it - like a self-worship exercise - but in vain. For outside of
the One True G-d of Israel, Who's Requirements have been mandated to the Tribe
of Judah (Genesis 49:10), there is very little Light - for His Word is the
Light of the World!
You have to humble yourselves and learn from His Lawgivers -
the spiritual leaders of Judah (Psalms 60:7; 108:8). The wisdom that you have
been led to in your Hebraic Restoration experience may have made you proud.
Many such Ten Tribers have become victim of their own position and the power
that comes with it - like Pharaoh - unwilling to listen to the ‘Message of Moshe’
which they reject with contempt. Don't let Darkness overtake you!
The Resistance of Judah
There is the risk of a Pharaoh culture here also: Many Jews
oppose the idea of an ‘Egyptian’ Moshe or Yoseph returning to the fold. The
Returnees who come in the Name of the G-d of Israel, like a Moshe and a Yoseph,
are rejected. They call them pagans, idol worshippers (‘Egyptians’). They
refuse them Return to the fold by conversion. They even reject their willing
and voluntary free support through their gifts and labors, to help to build the
Land and secure it, labeling it as unlawful, a curse on the Land and its
people.
We have had an example of this in Shomron, Israel, just this
past week. A bumper sticker started to circulate with the theme: “With
Christians - no Blessing”. This was a move of opposition by fundamentalist Jews
against the presence and assistance that volunteer Christians offer Shomron
wine farmers.
Hundreds of these Israel lovers (no doubt reawakening Ten
Tribers) come for periods of 3 months to offer their free labors on Shomron
farms. These farms are run by individual farmers who cannot afford the labor
costs for such large labor forces required to produce the fine wines that they
do.
This rejection by a sector of ultra religious Jews overlook
the Biblical Promises that Abraham's descendants would one day return to the
land where they would grow vineyards and produce wine on the mountains of
Shomron, the homeland of their forefathers!
Amos 9:11, 13-15 – “In that day I will restore David's fallen tent ... and
build it as it used to be ... ‘The days are coming,’ declares HaShem ... New
wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills. I will bring back my exiled people Israel;
they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards
and drink their wine. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to
be uprooted from the land I have given them,’ says the L-RD your G-d.”
This Prophecy does NOT
apply to Jews (Judah) only. As our comprehensive extract of Scriptures in this
regard show that "Israel" has a far wider implication in Prophetic
Tanach. It refers to 10-Israel mostly, and if not, then certainly to 12-Israel,
depending on the context - but NEVER to Judah alone. Judah is specified by
name.
Our Haftarah this week tells us what is going to happen to
this Pharaoh.
It should now be clear why HaShem is so resolute about
destroying the Nile - sustainer and god of Egypt - in this Prophetic Scripture.
Ezekiel 28:25-26 – “This is what the
Sovereign HaShem says: ‘When I
gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been
scattered, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of the
nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant
Jacob. They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant
vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment on all their
neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am HaShem their God.”
Ezekiel 29:9-12 – “Because you said,
‘The Nile is mine; I made it,’ therefore I am against you and against your
streams, and I will make the land of Egypt a ruin and a desolate waste from
Migdol to Aswan, as far as the border of Cush. The foot of neither man nor
beast will pass through it; no one will live there for forty years. I will make
the land of Egypt desolate among devastated lands and its cities will be
desolate among destroyed cities for forty years; and I will scatter Egypt among
the nations and disperse them through the lands.”

This week's Parashah brings us to the end of the Book of
Genesis and concludes the Process of Election (Bechirah). We have traced the Divine Election for channeling
the Blessing of Abraham, through its family tracks, through Yitzchak (Isaac)
and Ya'acov (Jacob), to the 70 family members who went down into Egypt. They
would form the nucleus of the Nation to come at the End Time, amongst whom G-d
would have a righteous Ruling Body to rule in His forthcoming Universal
Kingdom.
Our next Parashot, from the Book of Exodus (Schmot), will be
tell how these 70 souls multiply, become a multitude, become enslaved in Egypt
and eventually redeemed - all as a metaphor of the Ultimate future Redemption
at the final fulfillment of Abraham's Blessings in a multitude of nations.
Our Parashah opens with Ya'acov passing the Abrahamic Blessing
onto the two sons of Yosef; Ephraim & Menasha - a double Blessing. Menasha
would become a “great nation” but Ephraim would become a “group of nations”.
Scripture confirms (as do Rabbinic interpretation) that ‘Ephraim’ becomes the
Group Name for the Ten Tribes of Israel which would later be exiled and
intermingled into oblivion amongst the Nations.
Genesis 49:1 – “Then Ya'acov called
for his sons and said: ‘Gather around so
I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come.’
This week's Parashah then features Ya'acov's series of Main
Prophecies for the Times of Final Redemption - though with limitation on what
he may reveal. These Prophecies are of vast magnitude and we will simply touch
on one area of it - an important and captivating insight into the Times ahead
of us, as we approach the Final Redemption.
The Evil That Will Befall Israel in ‘The Last Days’

This article and the related teaching are based mostly on a
video link in an Israeli newspaper a few years ago. The research was done by
Orthodox Jews living in Israel, in August 2008, more than two months before the US presidential election of
November 2008. To arrive at their conclusions, they have used one of the Rabbinic
interpretation methods of Gematriah.
Gematriah is a Hebrew concept by which interpretations are
derived from the numerical values of words or phrases of the Torah and the
Scriptures. The Hebrew words of the Torah contain so much depth, meaning and
truth, which English words cannot generally teach or explain and which also
conceal incredible mysteries and astounding prophecies. Hebrew letters have
numerical values. By comparing the numerical value of different words or
phrases used in the Bible, the process of Gematriah portends deeper
revelationary meanings which seem to be Divinely built into the Hebrew
Scriptures like a mathematical formula underlying all.
Gematriah is not
‘evil numerology’ as most Christians assume. Christian interpreters of
their ‘New Testament’ are heavily engaged in exactly the same procedure in
trying to resolve one of its most popular clues for identifying the Personage
of ‘the man of Evil’ who is to arise in ‘The Time of the End.’ Various
interpreters using similar methods of numerical interpretation, have for ages
been suggesting the names of various famous people to fit the popular ‘sign of
the beast, “which is the number of a man - 666”
Some additional information and / or explanations have been
added to the article, in order to help those who do not read Hebrew or know
certain Hebraic concepts used in the Scriptures, to have a more clear and
better understanding.
Jewish Perspective: Obama and the Evil at the End of Days
IDENTIFYING THE EVIL AT THE END OF DAYS

The coded, end of days message that Ya'akov gave over to his
sons (Gen. 49) was not deciphered by them. But our generation, the generation
alive at the end of days, can understand the clues and break the code [ref.
Daniel 12:3, 4]. Ya’akov (Jacob) called for his sons and said:
Genesis 49:1 - “Gather and assemble
yourselves together and I will proclaim to you what will befall you [your
descendants] in the Last Days.”
That is, unify and become a single nation with “ONE HEART” (
lev echad לב אחד) and I will tell you about your
descendants' REDEMPTION ( Geulah גאולה ) in the LAST DAYS.
The Gematriah of the phrase “ONE
HEART” ” (lev echad לבאַחד ) is calculated as = Total 45.
The Gematriah of the word
“REDEMPTION” ( Geulah גאולה ) is calculated as = Total 45.
Thus both “ONE HEART” and
“REDEMPTION” have a Gematriah of 45.
[This emphasizes the importance of UNITY to attain
Redemption. See 'Main Conclusion' at end of this commentary']
But there was no UNITY among the brothers. There still were
bad feelings and finger pointing among them. They did REPENTANCE (Teshuvah תשובה
) with respect to their brother Joseph but with respect to each other, they
were separate tribes. And so, Jacob could not reveal to them what would befall
their DESCENDANTS.
[Bear in mind also, that they were well aware of the Divine
Promise that their descendants would grow into uncountable numbers, as nations
with kings. The rivalry amongst these first Patriarchs of Israel is obvious
from the way they treated Yosef who indicated his leadership amongst them. This
rivalry remained a great reason for division amongst the 12 Tribes of Israel
throughout time. It also was the main reason for the splitting of the ancient
12-Tribed Kingdom of Israel into two, viz. the House of Judah (with Benjamin)
and the House of ‘Israel’ – that is, the Biblical term used for the Northern
10-Tribes AFTER the split. UNITY should therefore be the Final Goal for those
who await the Return of the Shechinah (visible Presence) of G-d before the Redemption
can be brought about].
“IN THE LAST DAYS” [b’achareet
ha-yahmim בְאַחֲרִּית היָמִּים
].
Ya’akov thought that perhaps one of his sons had sinned. So
he then searched the names of each of his 12 sons to see if the letters ח { chet } or ט { tet }, the main letters of the word “To SIN” [l’cha-toh לחטוא] were present in any of his son’s names. He
was relieved when he realized that these letters were absent from their names.
He then thought that perhaps their LACK of UNITY (lack of oneness of heart),
was worse than he imagined. If so, their merit to learn about the future final
redemption was lost.
Yaakov then searched their names again to see if the letters
ק { Kof } and ץ [Tzahdi-final] from the word “End” [ kaytz קץ ] were present in
any of their names. Once again these letters were absent from all 12 names.
Yaakov then realized the extent of their DISUNITY and began
to give blessings and or make prophecies over each of the sons. Although he was
not allowed to tell about events affecting their descendants [Israel – being
the 12 Tribes re-united in Peace], for thousands of years into the future, he
had already hinted at the IDENTITY of the EVIL that would befall their
DESCENDANTS -- IN THE LAST DAYS. He also hinted that the lack of unity that
they possessed would continue until those LAST DAYS.
The Gematriah of “GATHER” (
hay-ahs-poo הֵאָסְפו ) is 152.
While the phrase ”UNTIL THIS DAY”
(ad ha-yom ha-zeh עד היום הזה) is also the Gematriah
of 152, for UNTIL THIS DAY,
there still has NOT been “ONE HEART among Israel.
However, there was one brief period of time of “ONE HEART”
at Mount Sinai, when the Israelites received the Torah. This unity lasted until
Moshe’s (Moses’s) death, and because of it, Moshe was able to tell the
Israelites before he died, what will happen to their DESCENDANTS IN THE LAST
DAYS. Moses declared that the Israelites would turn away from the path of the
Torah [ not “law”, but Instructions ] of Elohim, and that they would provoke
Him to anger “BY THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS” (b’mah-ahsay yaday-chem במעֲשֵה יְַדֵיכֶם ), “AND IT SHALL BEFALL” (
veh-kah-raht וקָרָאת ) you EVIL, IN
THE LAST DAYS.
Deuteronomy 31:29 – “For I know that
after my death you will become utterly corrupt, and turn aside from the way
which I have commanded you. And evil WILL BEFALL YOU in the LAST DAYS,
because you will do evil in the sight of HaShem, to provoke Him to anger BY THE
WORK OF YOUR HANDS.”
Normally the Hebrew word which would be used in a sentence
like this would be “To CALL / To PROCLAIM” ( yik-ra יִּקְרָא
), which is what Jacob used when he spoke to his 12 sons in Genesis 49:1
above.
Yet Moses uses the word “AND IT SHALL BEFALL” (veh-kah-raht
וקָרָאת ) instead!
Why? [ a mystery revealed ]
The only other time this variation of the word: “AND IT
SHALL BEFALL” (veh-kah-raht ) is used in the entire Torah [ Five Books of Moses
], is when Hagar was told that she would have a son, and was told by the
Messenger of HaShem to call his name Ishmael. [ Is this a co-incidence? We do
NOT think so! ]
Genesis 16:10-12 - “Then the
messenger [ “angel” ] of HaShem said to her, ‘I will multiply your descendants
exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude.’ And the messenger of HaShem said to her: ‘Behold,
you are with child, and you shall bear a son. ‘AND YOU SHALL CALL’ (
veh-kah-raht ) his name Ishmael, because HaShem has heard your affliction. He
shall be a wild man; his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand
against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.”
This Prophecy certainly seems to describe the descendants of
Ishmael -- Arabs and Muslims. They are against everyone in almost every nation
where they live, and their hand, by the sword of Islam in their hands, is
against everyone.
This word “AND IT SHALL BEFALL” ( veh-kah-raht ), which is
normally connected to proclaiming and voicing something ( ”AND YOU SHALL CALL”
), is mysteriously used by Moses in just two places in the entire Torah (Genesis
16:11 and Deuteronomy 31:29), but with different meanings in each case.
This tells us that when evil befalls the Israelites
(their descendants), in the LAST DAYS, it was proclaimed in Heaven
and does not happen by chance.
Both Jacob (in Genesis 49:1) and Moses (in Deuteronomy
31:29) prophesied that some horrifying “EVIL WILL BEFALL” the sons of Jacob /
the children of Israel, IN THE LAST DAYS. Thus, the prophecy was essentially
given two times. In the second instance, the words of Moses are more specific
and also include a mysterious, but alarming detail.
Moreover, since Moses uses the exact same word (in Deut
31:29) that is used in naming Ishmael (in Gen 16:11), we ask ourselves: So what
then is the PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL connection between the “EVIL THAT WILL
BEFALL” the sons of Jacob / the children of Israel IN THE LAST
DAYS -- and ISHMAEL?
The answer is very clear and simple: the descendants of
ISHMAEL (and his brothers) are the EVIL that will befall the
descendants of JACOB / the descendants of Israel – IN THE LAST DAYS.
HOW will this happen?
Israel will provoke Elohim to anger; “BY THE WORK OF YOUR
HANDS.”
This phrase “BY THE WORK OF YOUR
HANDS” has a Gematriah of 501.
The ISHMAELITES ( Yish-meh-ay-leem יִּשְׁמְעֵאלִּים ) also has a Gematriah of 501.
[ Is this a co-incidence ? We do NOT think so! ]
The fact that the Gematriah of both of these two words /
phrases is 501, and that they
are found in the same two verses (Gen 16:11 and Deut. 31:29) which are already
connected by “AND IT SHALL BEFALL” (veh-kah-raht) (Deut. 31:29) “AND YOU SHALL
CALL” (veh-kah-raht) (Gen 16:11), further strengthens and confirms the PHYSICAL
and SPIRITUAL connection in the prophecies by Jacob and Moses -- that the EVIL
that shall befall the DESCENDANTS of Jacob / Israel -- in the Last Days --
shall be from the descendants of Ishmael.
[ Comment - Yet now, with this
awesome understanding, we still have only part of the mystery solved. There is
still more. We need to understand what exactly the descendants of Israel will
do to provoke HaShem to anger “BY THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS”.
So what could we, the children of
Israel, have possibly done, “BY THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS”, that would anger
Elohim so much?
With our very own hands, we finance
and work to put the wrong people in power over us. This action results in our
downfall. By putting into power leaders in Israel who don’t believe in Elohim,
we help bring about a spiritual collapse.
And by electing dangerous and
hateful leaders in America ( USA ) and in other countries, we assist in
bringing about both our physical and spiritual downfall even more.
We raise money for them, we vote for
these people and we put them in power. This evil work of our hands will
bring PUNISHMENT from Elohim and evil upon us from the ISHMAELITES
(Yish-mehayleem יִּשְׁמְעֵאלִּים).
We have also seen lately how the
Israel leaders have capitulated and bent before the demands of Obama by signing
a Peace Agreement with the terrorist rulers of Gaza, Hamas, and with the
president of Egypt, Muhammed Morsi, who’s declared vow is to conquer Jerusalem
for Islam.
Morsi will also be the future
overseer of the Peace Treaty. In this way Israel’s leaders have acknowledged
Hamas’s terrorist rule and raised Morsi to a great Peacemaker in the opinion of
the world.]

Thus not only is 501
the Gematriah of: “BY THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS”;
But the ( EVIL ) THAT WILL BEFALL us IN THE LAST DAYS – that
is, our PUNISHMENT, will be by the descendants of ISHMAELITES, which also has a
Gematriah of 501.
And all of this is also connected to the president of the
United States, that many descendants of Jacob / Israel actually helped put in
power through their finances and efforts ( promoting and voting) – “BY THE WORK
OF YOUR HANDS”.
“BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA” are PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY
connected together, as they all have a Gematriah of 501.
Connecting all of this together, we have:
“The HEAD of the (descendants of
the) ISHMAELITES is BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA who will bring the EVIL THAT WILL
BEFALL the (descendants of) Jacob (BOTH Houses of Israel, all 12 Tribes) in the
Last Days for the evil WORK OF THEIR HANDS.”
HaShem watched as countless Jews, all over the United
States, rushed to send their money to Obama’s campaign chest and helped promote
and advise his campaign. Today, many Jews are in his cabinet, including
Emmanuel, Axelrod, Geitner and Bernanke. And so, with our own hands, we took a
DESCENDANT from Yishmael and placed him as our HEAD in the White House, just 7
years after 9/11.
Accordingly, he (Obama) is indeed a great EVIL THAT WILL
BEFALL the Jewish people, the DESCENDANTS of Jacob, “IN THE LAST DAYS”, the
EVIL that Jacob and Moses prophesied about to our ancestors.
[ Reawakening and re-identifying Ten
Tribers today, should not count themselves detached from the reason for bringing
this Evil upon Israel as recompense for “THE WORK OF THEIR HANDS”, while
pointing fingers to “the evil works of Judah” (Jews) only. They also voted for
Obama who has not proven himself the friend of Israel, but rather of Islam
(Ishmaelites). Today’s re-identifying Ten Tribers also do not show an open hand
of physical support for rebuilding the Land of Israel because of their
criticism of orthodox Rabbinic and non-Jesus-accepting spiritual leadership of
Israel. This all to the discredit of “THE WORK OF THEIR HANDS.” ]
But there are those who argue that Obama is youthful and
energized in his appearance and his ideas. Why shouldn’t we believe him when he
says the magic words that he is a friend of Israel?
How do we really know he is dangerous to us?
Not only does the name, Barack Hussein Obama), have the same
Gematriah 501 as ISHMAELITES,
evidencing that he is a Muslim, although he denies it (watch the video given at
the end of the article), but it also has a further connection to a wave of
impending evil against Israel and the rest of the world. This we explain below
in more detail:
At our Passover Seders, we spill a drop of wine when we
mention each of the TEN Plagues, and also when we mention the abbreviation of
those plagues by saying באחב עדש דצּכ
[ This Hebrew acronym is made up of the first letters (with
one surprising exception), of each of the Ten Plagues which HaShem judged the
land of Egypt with, at the time of the Exodus of the Israelites. The following
list is also not in the original article, but included here to help people
better see and understand how such Hebrew acronyms work.

The Gematriah of this acronym for the Ten Plagues in Egypt is calculated as; 501.
So we see that this acronym of the Ten Plagues also
has a Gematriah of 501, the same
as both the name, Barack Hussein Obama, “HEAD” and ISHMAELITES.
From all of these things, we learn that the Torah teaches us
that Obama and radical Muslims will bring as much tribulation, destruction and
confusion to the world, at the time of the end, IN THE LAST DAYS -- as all the
TEN ( 10 ) plagues together brought to Egypt.
[ HaShem used all of those plagues
and judgments on Egypt, in order to bring about the RELEASE of His People,
12-Tribed Israel, to bring them out in the First Exodus, to the Promised Land.
This is referred to as the Redemption of His People, ancient Israel. Although
those plagues were brought about by G-d in order to bring about their release,
the Israelites had to equally endure the plagues upon the land of Egypt. Their
only protection was under the 10th Plague, the death of the First-born of each
family – the Plague which ensured their Release. (Note the author’s special
application for this 10th Plague for purposes of the Gematriah formula
interpretation … see 3rd par. from here).
Likewise, HaShem will use the forthcoming
tribulation and destruction in the world (which relates to spiritual ‘Egypt’,
amongst whom His Lost Ten Tribes and Lost - unidentified and assimilated - Jews
are held captive in exile). In this way He will bring about, the Second Exodus
(Regathering of His 12 Tribes from amongst all the nations, for the FINAL
REDEMPTION of His people Israel) ].
Moreover, the prophecy of the messenger of G-d to Hagar
about Ishmael was that: "He will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand will
be against everyone, and everyone's hand will be against him.” We see this
happening all over the world IN THESE LAST DAYS.
[ It is interesting to note how
Rabbi Yehudah, who made the acronym or abbreviation of the Ten Plagues, took
the FIRST Hebrew letter of each of the first NINE ( 9 ) plagues. However, with
respect to the TENTH and LAST PLAGUE, the KILLING of the FIRST-BORN (machat
b’choroht), he took the FIRST letter of the SECOND word of the plague – the Hebrew letter Beit ב, for
‘first-born’, instead of the
FIRST letter of the FIRST word -
Mem , for ‘the killing of’.
This letter Beit refers to the subject of the sentence, the ‘first-born’;
Which also is the subject of the Release of Israel from
slavery and their proceeding in the Exodus from Egypt to the Promised Land.
The topic of the ‘first-born’ is an extremely
important factor in reference to Redemption in Judaism.
Noteworthy also is that ‘Ephraim’ is the group
name used in the Bible for the Ten Tribes and as such, the Ten Tribes to be
re-identified and Returned to their heritage and to the Land in the End Time,
holds a special role of esteem by HaShem.
Through their father Yosef, Ephraim and Manasheh received a
double portion of inheritance in the Promised Land, according to the Rights of
the first-born. Yosef, regarded in Scripture as the first-born through his
mother Rachel, beloved wife of Jacob, is also regarded in Judaism as a
proto-type or metaphor for the Ten Tribes which were torn away from the Kingdom
of Israel and rejected by G-d for their rivalry with and rejection of the
judicial authority of Judah. There remains a Divine Oath though for their
re-acceptance and Return to the Land by G-d at the Time of the establishment of
the Messianic Kingdom to rule over the earth.
It is evident that this ‘501’ Time
of Trouble for Israel (all 12 Tribes?) will be used in the likeness of the
ancient Ten Plagues, to Return the Lost Israelites and Jews to the Promised
Land in a Second Exodus which will be even greater than the first!
Jeremiah 16:14-15 –
“The
days are coming, declares HaShem when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as
HaShem lives, Who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ but it will be said,
‘As surely as HaShem lives, Who brought the Israelites up out of the land of
the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ For I will
restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.”
The wisdom of Rabbi Yehudah in
selecting the 2nd letter which refers to the first born, is therefore evident.]
The coded, End of Days message, that Yaakov (Jacob) gave to
his sons was not understood by them. But our generation, the generation which
is today and alive in these Last Days, which both Yaakov (Jacob) and Mosheh
(Moses) prophesied about, can now understand the clues and decipher the codes.
G-d told Daniel that His words would be concealed and the Prophecies of His
Book sealed or kept hidden from understanding -- until the Time of the End, that is. in the Last Days.
Now that we are living in the very Time of the End, G-d is
opening up the words and the Prophecies of the Book of Daniel, along with so
many other Prophecies, so that we can understand and interpret them.
Daniel 12:1-5 - “At that time Michael
will stand, the great [heavenly] prince who stand in support for the members of
your people, and there will be a TIME OF TROUBLE, such as there had never been
since there was a nation until that time. But at that time your people will
escape; everything that is found written in this book in this book [will
occur].
Many of those who sleep in the dusty
earth will awaken; these for everlasting life and those for shame, for
everlasting abhorrence. The wise will shine like the radiance of the firmament,
and those who teach righteousness to the multitudes [will shine] like the
stars, forever and ever.
As for you, Daniel, obscure the
matters and seal the book until the time of the End; let many muse and let
knowledge increase.”
In Yaakov’s (Jacob’s) statement and prophecy to his 12 sons
(in Genesis 49:1 above and following), there are FIVE words (in Hebrew): “what
- WILL BEFALL - YOU - in the LAST - DAYS”.
The word translated “WHAT”
(or ‘that which’) is ‘ashare’ אשר. [ It has the
exact same three Hebrew letters as the word “HEAD’. ] Nevertheless it still has a Gematriah of 501 being the sum of the same three
numerical values. Jacob’s prophecy is talking about WHAT EVIL shall befall the DESCENDANTS of Jacob / Israel in the
LAST DAYS
This is because the Hebrew word translated as “WHAT” (ah-sher) can also be translated
as “WHO”. This is word or phrase
[ 5. ] in our calculations that has a Gematriah of 501. And with this understanding, the prophecy by Jacob further explains
and identifies the EVIL -- THAT
WILL BEFALL the descendants of Jacob / Israel in the LAST DAYS by the “HEAD” (
rohsh ) of the Ishmaelites. That “WHO”
is: Barack Hussein Obama, whose
name we have already learned has the same Gematria of 501. [ How can this be just another co-incidence? ]
[ and if this were not enough, there is yet even one more
strange co-incidence as we close… ]
When we look carefully at the word for “IN THE LAST” ( beh-ah-chah-reet בְאַחֲרִּיתַ ) we notice that the FIRST THREE ( 3 )
Hebrew letters contain the letters of the initials of Barack Hussein Obama in Hebrew:
The Bet - ב
is for Barack;
the Alef - א
is for אובמה Obama;
and the Chet - ח is for Hussein.
The HEAD [501] of the ( descendants of the ) ISHMAELITES
[501] is BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, [501], WHO [ 501 ] is the EVIL -- THAT WILL
BEFALL the ( descendants of ) Jacob / Israel, in the Last Days, BY THE WORK OF
YOUR HANDS [501].
May HaShem [ Elohim ] protect us from this evil and bring
Messiah ( Mashiach ) speedily in our days.
One of the amazing features
of the Torah Readings is the confirmation that often comes from major news
events in the world - as if a Prophetic fulfillment of the Torah portion. Bear
in mind that these readings are done on a programmed basis which has been
formulated centuries ago and faithfully repeated year after year by Jews
throughout the centuries.
Our confirmation of the controversial statements contained
in this commentary, comes from WND (World News Digest) this week in an article
“Biggest
Lie of the Year 2012 is Obama, News Media for Misleading Tales”in which they reveal some shocking details of how the US
under Obama has been funding Al Qaida rebels in Libya and currently in Syria.
The reports states:
World Net Daily – “In September, WND
also broke the story that the slain US ambassador, Christopher Stevens, played
a central role (in Benghazi), in recruiting Jihadists to fight Assad’s regime,
according to Egyptian security officials.
Last month, Middle Eastern security sources further described both the U.S.
mission and nearby CIA annex in Benghazi as the main intelligence and planning
center for U.S. aid to the rebels that was being coordinated with Turkey, Saudi
Arabia and Qatar. Many rebel fighters are openly members of terrorist
organizations, including al-Qaida.
Questions remain about the nature of U.S. support for the revolutions in
Egypt and Libya, including reports the U.S.-aided rebels that toppled Gadhafi’s
regime in Libya consisted of al-Qaida and jihad groups. The U.S. provided
direct assistance, including weapons and finances, to the Libyan rebels. Similarly,
the Obama administration has aided the rebels fighting Assad’s regime in Syria
amid widespread reports that al-Qaida jihadists are included in the ranks of
the Free Syrian Army.
During the revolution against Gadhafi’s regime, the U.S. admitted to directly
arming the rebel groups. At the time, rebel leader Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi
admitted in an interview that a significant number of the Libyan rebels were
al-Qaida fighters, many of whom had fought U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He insisted his fighters “are patriots and good Muslims, not terrorists,” but
he added that the “members of al-Qaida are also good Muslims and are fighting
against the invader.”
While the impression is created in the media that Israel is
assisted and protected against their surrounding enemies, there is an ominous
build up in this process of even more fundamentalist Islamic neighbors who all
vehemently oppose the establishment of a Jewish State or Israel Kingdom.”
King David's death bed wishes to his son, Solomon, gives an
apt conclusion and secure guidelines to anyone who wishes to conform to the Message of the 12 Parashot that make up the entire
Book of Genesis and wants "to Live".
1 Kings 2:2-4 – “Observe what HaShem
your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep His Decrees and Commands,
His Laws and Regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you
may prosper in all you do and wherever you go and that HaShem may keep His
Promise to me.”
This echoes Ya'acov's wishes for his sons (as in our
Parashah) as well as the wishes, prayers and Blessings of all the Patriarchs of
Genesis who cherished and pursued the Divine Blessing to Avraham.
It is these Guidelines that their descendants forgot - and which
10-Israel is returning to today. No wonder that the evil forces have besmirched
these very principles and guidelines through the traditions in Exile. May
re-awakening 10-Israel realize and see through these evil intentions and return
to their original heritage as outlined in David's death-bed wishes so that
HaShem can fulfill His Promises.
Main Conclusion from Beresheet
The Blessings to Avraham stand firm - and HaShem is eager to
bring it on for us. WE, His People, the claimants to His Promises, are the
obstacles! We withhold it from occurring!
The underlying shortcoming which has echoed from all these
12 Parashot is UNITY. NOT just Unity amongst Judah, or unity amongst 10-Israel,
but also and mainly, UNITY between the two Sticks to be molded into ONE. UNITY
between the Brothers who make up the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

advises:

In early December, 2012, Moshe Feiglin and a number of observant Jews did what
was unthinkable. They violated the unwritten Israeli rule prohibiting Jews from
“practicing religion” like praying on the Temple Mount. There in sight of the Dome of the Rock
Mosque, Feiglin, a Likud Jewish “hardliner” who was No. 15 on the Likud list
for the imminent elections in Israel and the leadership of the Likud Party, was
walking with at least 10 men across the platform surrounding the Dome of the

Likud, the swelling tide of Messianism during the recent “Eight Day War with
Hamas in Gaza”, the nationalist and the settlers groups are now tilting the
entire political framework of the State of Israel towards Observant Judaism and
Israeli nationalistic idealism.
This is the same Feiglin who outlined his political
vision on Facebook of the future of Jerusalem when he stated that his “mission”
would be over when “we build the [Jewish] Temple on top of the Temple Mount and
fulfill our purpose in the land.”
Since the Oslo Accord, in spite of there being
no laws against a Jew praying on the Temple Mount, the Israeli government in
league with the Islamic Wakf, who control the Temple Mount, have informed any
Jews or Christians not to carry out any form of religious prayers, ceremonies
upon the Mount, with the threats that spontaneous riots and violence against
the Jewish people below at the Western Wall my occur.
On this given day, there just happened to be a
camera crew with Channel 10 News who obtained video footage of a group of Jews
including what many Observant Jews predict may be a future MK in the Israeli
Knesset, who were praying on the Temple Mount. Not only this, there was at
least a minyan of 10 men praying there on the Jewish peoples Most Holy Site in
the world.
It was considered that by ElderofZion
blogsite, that this might have been the first time since
the destruction of the Temple of Herod in the year 70 CE that ten men
constituting a minyan, which according to the sages of Judah would represent
that the Holy One of Israel would also be present with them. Over the centuries
there have been numerous pilgrims, visitors, to the site but there had been no
mention of ten men worshipping as a minyan; the minimum number of men needed to
pray, perform public worship, recite the priestly blessing, partake in readings
from the Torah and the Prophets plus recite the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy,
the Kiddush HaShem and the recitation of the Birkat ha-Gomel.
Gedalia Meyer and Henoch
Messner – “Following the Arab conquest we have very little information
concerning Jewish activity occurring on the Temple Mount. Unlike during the
Christian Byzantine times, there is no indication that the Muslims prohibited
Jewish visitation to the site. The first solid report of what was going on
during this time comes in the early 12th century when Jerusalem was already in
the hands of the Crusaders. This report is found in a rarely referenced book called
Megilas Hamegila by Avraham ben Chiya. He was a rabbi who is believed to
have lived in Barcelona and was occasionally quoted by the Abarbanel, among
others.
On page 99, he mentions that the Arabs had good relations with the Jews. He
says that the Jews were even permitted
to have a synagogue on the Temple Mount, which they used on holidays to
serve in place of the sacrifices that had been offered in the Beis Hamikdash.
This synagogue was destroyed when the Crusaders came [in 1099], and since that
time the Jews were prohibited from entering the Temple Mount, we learn.”
As reported on the “Recent Developments in the News regarding the Temple Mount”, last updated
on December 21, 2009, the late Chief Rabbi, Rav Shlomo Goren wrote in the
Yibane HaMikdash, Issue 10, that originally was published in the Darchei Torah,
the following summary of “The Struggle on the Temple Mount:”
Late Chief Rabbi Rav Shlomo Goren – “With the first military deployment in the
liberated and united Jerusalem, I decided that the time has come to establish
facts on the ground, and I started to organize Jewish prayer services on the
Temple Mount, in areas permissible for those defiled by contact with the dead
to enter.
In these great days, I
could not free myself from the thought that, from a historical perspective, the
designation of the Western Wall Plaza for Jewish prayer is only the result of
Jews being banned from the Temple Mount by the Crusaders and by Moslems
together. Hence, an intolerable situation has been created, that even after the
liberation of the Temple Mount, the Moslems remained up on the Temple Mount,
and we stayed down below, them inside and us outside.
Prayer by the Western
Wall is a sign of destruction and exile, and not freedom and redemption, since
Jewish prayer by the Western Wall started only in the 16th century. Before
that, Jews had prayed on the Temple Mount for centuries, and when they were
expelled, they prayed on the Mountain of Olives, across from the Eastern Gate.
Jews have been praying by the Western Wall for only about three hundred years.
In the framework of the
function of the Military Rabbinate, we held organized study and prayer on the
Temple Mount -- Shacharit (morning service), Mincha (afternoon service), and
Ma'ariv (evening service), and Torah reading on Shabbat, Monday, and Thursday
on the Temple Mount Plaza itself, inside the Mugrabi Gate, near our study
center. Once, the Waqaf people tried to close the Shevatim Gate, on the
northeastern end of the Temple Mount, from a gathering of officers of the Military
Rabbinate that was held on the Temple Mount. We broke through the gate and
entered. That taught them the Temple Mount is ours officially and practically.
On the 9th of Av, 5727
(1967 CE), I held a Mincha service for a small group on the Temple Mount Plaza
across from the steps going up south of the Dome of the Rock, a place that is
permissible to enter according to all Halachic authorities. This Mincha service
on the 9th of Av on the Temple Mount raised many reactions in the media in
Israel and abroad. Jewish writers hostile to religion in the State started
incitement against our efforts to renew Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount.
Handing
the Key of the Temple Mount to the Waqaf
In the midst of
deliberations, in both governmental and religious frameworks, about renewing
Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount and building a permanent synagogue on the
open southern plain, the Minister of Defense told me, to my great surprise,
that he decided to pass the auspices and responsibilities for all arrangements
on the Temple Mount to the Islamic Waqaf. He ordered me to take the Torah study
center of the Military Rabbinate down from the Temple Mount and to remove all
officers of the Temple Mount. From then on, according to him, the Military
Rabbinate has no responsibility for the arrangements there, and I should stop
organizing Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount. I accepted the order with anger
and pain, and I told the Minister of Defense that this is likely to bring about
a third destruction, since the key to our sovereignty over Judea, Samaria, and
Gaza is the Temple Mount.”
Such are the events that are now ascending into
the consciousness of the Orthodox Jews and the Righteous Gentiles especially
with the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Judah. Since the days of the soon
aborted, “Eight Day War with Hamas in Gaza”, when the young Israeli soldiers
were clamoring to participate in the invasion of Gaza, feeling that this was a
righteous war, the sense of the Messiah’s presence has been more and more
palpable in the Land of Israel. No doubt will see these types of events begin
to crumble the old framework of the global elite as an elevated state of
consciousness is changing the hearts of the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of
Israel seeking to return to the brotherhood of “All Israel” and gaining a new
respect for the rabbanim of Yisra’el and opening the gates of heaven for
eventually the full revelation of the Maschiah ben Dovid.”
The Finger of the Divine is rapidly transforming our world
in to the final guela and redemption for All Israel; Judah and Ten-Israel
together. As it comes to the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel, our
naturalized homelands as we know them to be will soon disappear and we will
have only one choice left, assimilate into rapidly decaying gentile world, or
return to our ancestral tribal homelands in Israel. The prophets have a lot to
say as to the fate of each of these Lost Israelites and continue to reveal to
us today the prophetic matrix of the future.
Daily a new State of Israel is emerging; dynamic, vibrant,
and exhibiting all the hallmarks of a new ascended attitude of their goals and
destiny for them, the “Land” and the progressive revelation of a New Spiritual
and Revitalized Israel. Outside the “Land” the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of
Israel are making their desires known that it is time for us to come home, and
reunited the family of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Judah ben Samuel’s the Last 10 Jubilees Prophecy
When this Grand Cross was revealed in the heavens
in the year of 1999, Planet Earth was surrounded by a Group of Four
Astrological Houses. At the four poles of the Zodiac, we know them today as
their secular names for the Four Houses as Taurus (Bull), Leo (Lion), Scorpio
(Eagle), and Aquarius (Man) that correspond to the four living
Creatures in Revelation 4:6-7.
Now two thousand years later, two waves of
peoples were being called and wooed home by the G-d of Israel. The Jewish
people, in part, had remained in covenant with their G-d, for over the
centuries, so they honed their identity of keeping every “jot and tittle” of
the Torah Law, plus protecting and preserving the sacred writings of the Torah,
the Writings and the Prophets in the TaNaKh.
During this era of three millenniums when
every other national peoples and sacred writings were lost, the Jewish people
were the only national people who did not lose their national identity for they
preserved and kept their sacred writings, their sacred tongue, sacred
literature, their sacred history, sacred national identity and their Sacred
Holy G-d, HaShem.
The second group was the rebellious
brothers to the Jews ancestral forefather, Judah. They were called the Lost Ten Tribes of
the House of Israel.
On the cusp of the 21st century,
and almost four years since the 6000th year of man that was fulfilled on Rosh Hashanah 2009, the
prominence of the “Grand Cross” planetary alignment on August 11, 1999 was
given a succinct analysis in the article titled, the “Signs in the Heavens” on
September 18, 2008, when on the topic of “The Grand Cross”, we read:
The Grand Cross – “The Grand Cross is a rare alignment of
the planets in which they form a giant cross. It is said to happen once every
twenty-four thousand years. The last time it happened was August 18, 1999. This
came 7 days after a solar eclipse happened on August 11.
The significance of the Grand Cross is
that it is said that it marks the beginning of a new cycle. We have seen that solar
eclipses are a sign for the nations so it could have been a warning that
the 9/11 terrorist attacks were going to happen and the U.S. would be at war
with Iraq and Afghanistan.
Looking at the even bigger picture it could represent the
west (King of the North) at odds with radical Islam (King of the South) since
the Grand Cross was supposed to begin a new cycle. When this grand cross happened in 1999 the planets were grouped into just
four of the astrological houses. They were in the emblems of the man
(Aquarius the Waterbearer), the bull (Taurus), the eagle
(Scorpio) and the lion (Leo). The man, the bull, the lion and the eagle also
corresponded to the four living creatures in Revelation 4:2-7...”
Revelation 4:2-7 – “There before me in heaven stood a
throne, and on the throne someone was sitting. The one sitting there gleamed
like diamonds and rubies, and a rainbow shining like emerald encircled the
throne.”
Surrounding the throne were 24 other thrones, and on the
thrones sat 24 elders dressed in white clothing and wearing gold crowns on
their heads…In the center, around the throne, were four living beings covered
with eyes in front and behind.
The first
living being was like a lion, the second living being was like an ox,
the third living being had a face that looked human, and the fourth
living being was like a flying eagle. Each of the four living being had six
wings and was covered with eyes inside and out; and day and night they
never stop singing, “Holy holy, holy is Adonai, G-d of heaven’s armies, the One
who was, who is and who is coming!”
Let us keep in mind, the heavens are used by G-d as a sign that points to the
feasts (of the Lord). Lunar
eclipses are a sign
to Israel and solar eclipses are a sign to the gentile nations.
Leviticus 25:4 states that every seventh years is a Sabbatical Year in which
the land is to remain at rest. Therefore, it appears that the last two
Sabbatical Years before the anticipated revealing of the Messiah was in the
year of 2008 when the economies of the world crashed, and in the future year of
2015. Does this suggest that the “Signs in the Heavens” will be critical to
note and pay attention to?

The year of
2014 will mark a tetrad where there will be four blood moons. NASA
defines a tetrad in theNASA web site as four blood
moons that happen back to back like the ones will occur in the years
between 2014 and 2015.
A blood moon is simply a total
lunar eclipse in which the moon turns a dark red color. The upcoming tetrad
is important from a prophetic standpoint for a few reasons; one is each one of
these blood moon lunar eclipses is on the Jewish feast days (remember the
heavens are a sign that point to the feasts of the L-rd).

The second reason that a Lunar Tetrad has
major prophetic significance is that this is the only time in the 21st
century that a tetrad lands on any of the Jewish feast days. Going back in time
we notice that occurred on the following dates that were Jewish feast days.
Notice that every one of these marked a major event for Israel and the Jewish
people.
Tetrad of Four Total Blood Moons in Modern Israeli’s Past
History
The Two Blood Moons in the years 1967 and 1968
marked the years when Israel captured Jerusalem in the Six Day War and Jerusalem
became the official capital of the State of Israel.
The Two Blood Moons in
the years 1949 and 1950 marked the date when Israel became a Nation (May
14, 1948) but had to secure the fate of their nation when five Islamic
nations invaded the Land of Israel seeking her destruction and annihilation.
The Signs of the
Eclipse of the Sun and the Moon
Israel’s national independence though came
over 500 years after the prior Blood Moon total Eclipse occurred in the 15th
century during the years of 1493 and 1494. These Blood Moons marked the era of
the Spanish Roman Catholic Inquisition when the Jewish people were expelled
from Spain on the 9th Av in 1492. It also marked the beginning of Christopher
Columbus’ voyage to the New World and a new epic era of the expansion and
colonization of the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.
What is also interesting is that there were not
any “tetrad periods” of lunar or solar origin during the 16th, 17th
and 18th centuries. Life to the Jewish people on the prophetic scene
became dormant. These were the years of
the Emancipation of the Jews in Europe and the years of the Great False
Messianic revival of the Shabbatean-Frankist disciples of Shabbatai Tzevi of
June 18, 1666.
As we know, the Festival of Passover begins
the official Jewish festival season and the Feast of Tabernacles is the last or
the ending of the Jewish harvest festivals. With these considerations, these
“blood moon” tetrads then can be seen as a completion of prophecy such as when
Israel became a nation (1948) which also fulfilled a major biblical prophetic
landmark when Jerusalem was recaptured by the Jewish people (1967) and became
the capital of the State of Israel.
In addition to the tetrad of lunar eclipses
coming up in the years of 2014 and 2015 there are also a couple of solar
eclipses. In the year of 2015 on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Years
that portends to herald the revealing of the Jewish Messiah in the Jewish Year
of 5776, there will be a total
solar eclipse and later on Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles, the end of
the Jewish harvest festival during the Sabbatical Year of 2015, there will alsobe a partial solar eclipse.
Concerning
Solar Eclipses that sent messages to the Gentile World, on August 1, 2008,
there occurred a solar eclipse on the 29th of Tammuz which some
scholars believed was a warning that Russia was going to invade Georgia (Jewish
State east of the Black Sea that was ruled by the Monarchy of Davidian rulers;
David and Tamar in the era of the Roman
Christian Crusades).
The reason
that it happened on the 29th of Tammuz on the Hebrew calendar was that this was
a window of time known as the dire straits which runs from the 17th
of Tammuz through the 9th of Av. During this three week period of time, the
fate of the world hung in the balance as the world economies were all
collapsing at the same time beginning with the collapse of the New
York Stock Exchange on Rosh Hashanah 2008 (Jewish Year 5779) and on Yom Kippur were awaiting their
day of judgment. These were days of “dire straits” for Israel and the rest of
the world. For the next two years, the solar eclipses that sent portends to the
Gentile World that fell in this window of time included:

The Events occuring during the “Dire Straits” of 2009; August 1 2008 - 29 Tammuz 5768
This global economic catastrophe was heralded earlier by the epic Hurricane
called “Ike” called “One of G-d’s Plagues” that occurred on September 14, 2008. On the very
day of G-d’s Judgment, Yom Kippur, October 10, 2008, the G7 financial ministers met to try to save the world’s economies.

The days of the World Economic Collapse, starting before
the November election in 2008, was beginning to ease, the portents of the Obama
White House upon the rest of the nations of the earth
and Israel was only beginning to be comprehended the role of President Obama
when he outlines his vision of the world in a speech in the Major Reception Hall at Cairo University in Cairo,
Egypt on June 4, 2009 titled, “A New Beginning.” It was later analyzed by Allen Z. Hertz on September 21,
2009 and reviewed in Destination Yisra’el, titled, “Obama, Walking on
Israel in Chamberlain’s Shoes”
The Events occuring during the “Dire Straits” of 2010; July 11 2010 - 29 Tammuz 5770
Only in retrospect do we remember those
days, when again the Gentile World was again walking through the “dire straits”
of the impact of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Platform explosion and its potential
affect upon the oceanic waters of the Atlantic and beyond. As with all catastrophes that appear to have international implication, the "rest of the story" appears stranger than fiction, as documented below:
In the context of this whole dramatic
Sabbatical Week of years between Rosh Hashanah 2008 and 2015, (Jewish Years
5769-5775), the global impact of the Obama White House upon the world is
sobering to consider and may blend well with the enigmatic text in Daniel nine
stating:
Daniel
9:25-26 – “Know therefore
and understand, that from
the going forth of the command to
restore and build
Jerusalem until Messiah the
Prince, there shall be seven
weeks (Sabbatical Week of Years) before a Jubilee era, plus sixty-two prophetic
weeks: the street shall be built
again, and the wall, even
in troublesome times.”
Concerning
the last “Seven Sabbatical Week of Years” weeks” or Jubilee, we realize that 7
x 7 years = 49 years and the 7th and last Sabbatical Week of Years
has to do with the last 7 year covenant with
the “Holy Ones of Israel”. This includes the 7th Sabbatical Year of
the 7 Sabbatical Week of Years that comes before the Jubilee Year in the 50th
Year. And then we consider that a “Prophetic Year” is 360 days per year, we
notice that 49 prophetic years x 360 days equal 17,640 days. So when
will the next Jubilee Year begin and will it herald the Great Day of the
Messiah?
Consider,
if the decree to restore and build Jerusalem came in the year that Jerusalem
was captured from the Jordanian military on June 7th, 1967, then the
time going forward towards the “Messiah the Prince” will be those years in
which Jerusalem has been in the process of being “rebuilt and restored” even
during “troublous times”.
So we
count forward from June 7, 1967 for 17,640 days. Here we start with the year of 1967 with 207
remaining days after Jerusalem was captured and repossessed by the Jewish
people. Then we count the total days of the years between 1968 to 2014 with a
total of 17,374 days, and continuing for 243 days into the year of 2015. They add up to 17,640 days.
Here we
now realize is the potential fulfillment of 17,640 days or the 49 years
including the last Seven-Sabbatical Week of Years during which the “decree to
restore and rebuilt Jerusalem” will be completed until the “Messiah the Prince”
is revealed? When will this be?
That
date will be September 23, 2015. What is
significant about that date? It is Yom Kippur in the Jewish Year of 5776 ending
on Rosh Hashanah 2016 or the Jewish Year of 5777! Will this year from Rosh
Hashanah 2015 to Roth Hashanah 2016 be the year of the GogUMogog War?
If so,
will the Jewish Year of 5776 that ends before Rosh Hashanah in the Gregorian
Year of 2016 become the end of the 8th Year of the Revealing of the
Messiah? If so, then the Days of the Guela and the beginning of the 1st
Messianic Year of the Messiah, David son of David will begin and with the
consummation of all war and the beginning of the Era of Peace with our Messiah.

Daniel 9:25-26 – “Know therefore and
understand, that from the
going forth of the command to restore
and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be
seven weeks and sixty-two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.
And after the sixty-two
weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not
for Himself; and the people of
the prince who is to
come shall destroy the city
and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolation are determined.
Then he (the Prince) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering
and on the wing of abomination shall
be one who make desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”
This may shock many well prepared
interpretations of events at the
time of the end. We might
be well to relook at this passage of scripture. In verse 25 we see the phrase, “Messiah the Prince” while in verse 26 we see the word “Messiah” and later in verse 26, the “Prince”. Long have we
thought that they were one
and the same reference. Let us not be too hasty, maybe there is a hidden meaning.
These
two verses are the only verses in the entire TaNaKh (Old Testament) in which the word “Messiah” is used. It comes from the Hebrew word, Maschiach
which usually means the “Great
Deliverer of Israel”. The Hebrew word, mashiyach (maw-shee-akh)
in Strong’s 4899, means anointed or a consecrated person such as a king, priest or saint.
Yet in apocalyptic literature there is a Messiah and an anti-Messiah. When
we look at the phrase, “Messiah
the Prince”, the word “Prince”
in Hebrew comes from a little used Hebrew word, nagid (naw-gheed) which
according to Strong’s 5057 denotes a civil, military or religious commander,
chief, governor, noble of prince. So far it looks
as if this could relate to the Maschiach
of Israel. Yet the root word
for nagid is nagad(naw-gad) meaning in Strong’s 5046
to stand out boldly “in opposition,
to expose, predict, praise, or denounce.” Out of this Hebrew root
comes the English word, negative.
When we look at the Hebrew words
again, “Messiah the Prince”
is referring to that same person as the “people of the prince”
in verse 26 and he (the Prince) who “shall confirm a
covenant with many for one week.” This Messiah the Prince has no
relationship according to the Hebrew
with Yehoshua (Jesus) or the Maschiach of Israel whether it is either the
Jewish Maschiach ben Yosef (Messiah son of Joseph) or the Jewish Maschiah ben
Dovid).
The Messiah the Prince is the “Negative Messiah”, the anti-Messiah, or the anti-Christ. According
to the Jewish sage, Rashi (Solomon ben Isaac) who, next to Maimonides, is the most widely studied Jewish scholar, the
“Prince” will be a civil, military or even a religious commander in chief that
will negotiate a firm covenant with the “many” or with the “great ones” of the Jewish rulers for seven years.”
Let us now consider these epic events with the writings of the famous
sage of Judah, Rabbi Judah ben Samuel who in his extensive summation of the
prophets before he died in the year of 1217 gave to us the “Last 10 Jubilees
Prophecy” that would occur before the coming of the Jewish Messiah.
It was before the year of his death in the year of 1217 CE that one of
Judah’s most legendary and prolific German Hassidic rabbis made an astounding
prediction about the future of Jerusalem and the coming of the Messiah. Known
as Judah ben Samuel (Judah He-Hasid or Judah the Pious, he lived in the 12th
and 13th century in Regensburg, Germany.
Born in Speyer in 1140, Rabbi ben Samuel died in February 22, 1217 in
Regensbug. He was one of the fathers of Chassidei (Hassidic Judaism, a movement
of Jewish mysticism in Germany different than Rabbi Lurias Kabbalistic
mysticism, where the Chassids strong moral ethics and prayer.
When Rabbi Judah HeHasid settled in Regensburg at the age of 55, it was
here that he wrote his seminal books; the Sefer
Hasidim (Book of the Pious), Sefer
Gematriyot (a book on astrology) and Sefer Hakavod (Book of Glory).
The latter book is now lost and few quotations have remained by subsequent
authors.
These years were the time of the Roman Christian crusades into the Holy
Land between the years of 1096-1270. During that time also a flourishing
correspondence was carried back and forth from Jerusalem and the Holy Land and
Europe rabbis in Worms and Regensburg in Germany. It was in these letters that
they knew about Saladin the Great and Saladin’s Sunni Ayyubid Dynasty in
Egypt.
It was in this year that Rabbi Judah ben Samuel began publishing his
biblical calculations called the Gematria, plus his astronomical observations a
gave us this summary which we can read today.
Judah ben Samuel - “When
the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to be reckoned with on
the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer Jerusalem they will rule
over Jerusalem for eight jubilees. Afterwards Jerusalem will become
no-man’s land for one jubilee, and then in the ninth jubilee it will
once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation –
which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”
According
to Leviticus 25, one Jubilee period is 50 years in which the 50th
year, each person will regain ownership of his or her tribal lands. As Rabbi
Judah the Pious looked into the future, he was postulating theoretical
calculations, which today are showing them to be amazingly accurate. It would
be over 300 years after his death that his first prediction came true.
During
the Roman Christian Crusades, the Mamluk began their reign in Jerusalem in the
year of 1250 CE when the last Ayyubid Sultan of Egypt, Turanshah was
assassinated by his Mamluk slave General Aibek who then founded the Mamluk
Bahri dynasty. They held power over Jerusalem until they were conquered by the
Ottoman Turks in the year of 1517, three hundred years after the death of Rabbi
Judah ben Samuel.
According
to Rabbi Judah he-Hasid, the Ottoman Turks would later wrestle power and
control over the Middle East and assume power and control over Jerusalem. They
would control the Land of Palestine and Jerusalem for eight Jubilees, according
to his predictive calculations.
Well,
eight Jubilees (50 years x 8 Jubilees) is 400 years. We know again by history
that the Ottoman Turks gained control of Jerusalem in the year 1517 and held
power over Jerusalem for 400 years, when they were conquered in 1917, by the
British military forces under the command of British military General George
Allenby on December 17, 1917. After this
date the League of Nations conferred the British Mandate that included the Land
of Israel, then called Palestine, and Jerusalem to the British.
Then
the prophecy continues when it states; “Afterwards Jerusalem will become
no-man’s land for one jubilee.” Is it not amazing that from the year of
1917 when the British Mandate controlled the city of Jerusalem, Jerusalem did
become under international law a “no-man’s land for one jubilee”. It was
in that year, fifty years after 1917 that the Israeli army captured the city of
Jerusalem in the Six Day War on June 17, 1967. Exactly one Jubilee and 50 years
later, Jerusalem returned to the control of the Jewish-Israeli ownership since
the day when Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 CE.
Called
the “Light of Israel”, Rabbi Ben Samuel truly was a “Light to the World”. He
did not discriminate against anyone who wanted to learn from him. Even the
Roman Catholic bishops sought his wisdom.
His
students were some of the Torah scholars of the ages. Those who have spent
their lives studying and referencing the studies of Rabbi Judah he-Hasid, were;
Rabbi Isaac Ben
Solomon Luria, a mystic dealing with the messianic world (Jerusalem, 1531-1572,
Safed); Joseph Solomon Delmegido (1591 Candia – 1655 Prague), a mathematician
and astronomer (“Mazref le-Chochma”), Azulai I (1724-1806), a famed
bibliographer; Samuel David Luzzatto (1800-1865), a Bible scholar; historian
Heinrich Graetz (1817-1891); and Torah scholar Jacob Epstein (1925-1993).
According to his pupils Rabbi Isaac ben Moses
(Vienna), Rabbi Baruch ben Samuel (Mainz) and Rabbi Simcha (Speyer), Rabbi
Judah the Pious was a model in his role of strict abstinence selflessness and of
service to other. His burning desire was awaiting the coming of the Messiah. When he was asked where he received his
wisdom from, his answer was:
Rabbi Judah ben Samuel – “The prophet
Elijah, who will precede the Messiah, appeared to me and revealed many things
to me and emphasized that the precondition for answered prayer is that it is
fueled by enthusiasm and joy for the greatness and holiness of God.”
As we read the studies of this great man of G-d, and review his finding
in all their simplicity and accuracy, we stand amazed today. In review, in 1217
CE, this rabbinic sage and giant of Israel made the amazing prediction that the
“Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem for eight Jubilees.”
Unknown to Rabbi Judah ben Samuel, the first known reference of the
“Ottomans” was in 1215 CE, just two years before he died. They were a Turkish
speaking tribe that was first ruled by Ertugrul in the land of Anatolia. His
rule continued to ascend in power as the Seljuk Turkish Empire decayed.
Ertugrul’s son, Osman, became the name-sake “father of the Ottoman Turks” for
his name was corrupted in Europe as “Ottoman”.
The Ottomans expanded to Nicaea (present-day Iznik and then went over
the Dardanelles in 1362. Almost ninety years later, the Ottoman ruler Mehmed II
conquered the Byzantine Imperial capital, Constantinople (Istanbul) in the year
of 1453. Eventually the Ottomans ruled over most of the Balkans, the Fertile
Crescent and Egypt included the forsaken land of Palestine. This empire lasted
until after World War II, but the Holy Land and Jerusalem were taken possession
of in the year of 1917 the British General Edmund Allenby on Hanukkah, December
17, 1917. Of personal interest, one of
my relatives sent a personal account of the Battle of Jerusalem by the British
forces under the command of General Edmund Allenby. As written:
Geoffrey – “The story of Jerusalem and General Allenby, which I
remember my Grandfather telling me was about the time when Allenby halted the
British Army some twenty miles away from the great city and sent a telegram
directly to King George V. saying: “I will not fire British Guns on G-D’s City”
signed Allenby. Apparently, the King wired him back with one word
“PRAY!” And the next day the Turks left without a shot being fired and
Allenby led the British Army into Jerusalem.
We survived the German Occupation of the Channel Islands, because we knew who
we were – values had been handed down, we were British! We knew right
from wrong! And we would, no matter how bad things could become and they did,
win the war. Today, we can clearly see that society has forgotten to hand
those core values.”
As Judah ben Samuel predicted the years of 1217 and 1517 were recognized
as the biblical 50 year Jubilee Years. Three hundred years after 1217, the
Ottoman Turks took control of Jerusalem until its fading years when the Allied
Forces swept the last ruler of the Ottoman from power by the forces of the
British military troops under the command of General George Allenby in 1917.
Even after the Declaration of Independence by Israel in May 15, 1948 and
Israel’s War of Independence against five Islamic nations, the city of
Jerusalem still remained a “divided city”. The Jordanian government controlled
the eastern part of Jerusalem including the Temple Mount and the Old City of
Jerusalem. A strip of land divided the State of Israel control of Western
Jerusalem and the Jordanian controlled East Jerusalem. This strip of land was
called “The No-Man’s Land” by both Israelis and Jordanians.
Then in the year of 1967, Israel was once again attacked. After the Six
Day War, on June 17, 1967, the entire region of the West Bank was conquered by
the Israeli Army and the entire city of Jerusalem returned back in possession
of the Jewish people. Seven hundred and fifty years after the prophecy was
first made by Rabbi Judah the Pious, from 1217 to 1967, all the conditions of
the prophecy were fulfilled to the letter of the prophetic oracle. Then Rabbi
Judah heHasid wrote:
Rabbi Judah heHasid – “In the ninth jubilee Jerusalem will once
again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which
will signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”
This leaves one more Jubilee, the tenth Jubilee since the Ottoman Turks
took control of Jerusalem and the Land of Promise in the years of 1517. It will
“signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”
As we review the Sabbatical Week of Years,
this present Sabbatical Cycle began on Rosh Hashanah 2008 with the 8th
year of the Messiah continuing until Rosh Hashanah 2009. If the Sabbatical
Messianic cycle is completed with GogUMogog war occurring in the year between
Rosh Hashanah 2015 to Rosh Hashanah 2016 does continue, we are now in the 4th
year of that Sabbatical Cycle from Rosh Hashanah 2009, in the Jewish year 5773.
There is still time for the Messiah the
Prince, the anti-Messiah to forge a covenant with the “Holy Ones” of the
rabbanim of Jerusalem for seven year, for the biblical text in Daniel clearly
states that it will be abrogated
by the anti-Messiah within 3½ years.
Can we look forward to a Middle East
Peace Accord by Passover 2013? If so, 3½ years later, will be see the revealing
of the Maschiach ben Dovid before Rosh Hashanah 2016 (Jewish year 5777 between
Rosh Hashanahs 5776-7)?
If so, the Epic Year of the Messiah
will be here on Rosh Hashanah 2016 or the Jewish year of 5000 plus 777 years.
The age of the Enlightenment of the Torah will have begun. The forces of evil
will have been destroyed and the Kingdom of G-d on Planet Earth will begin with
the Maschiach ben Dovid ruling with the “rod of iron.
If not, will we have to endure for
another Seven Year Sabbatical Week of Years or another Jubilee cycle? It’s time
that the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel with their brothers, the Jews of the
House of Judah begin praying, as revealed in the name of the Prophet Zechariah,
Zechariah ben Berechiah ben Iddo (At the Appointed Time, G-d blesses and G-d
remembers). Let us call upon the Holy Name of the L-rd to bless us and be
merciful to the Jews of the House of Judah and the Lost Ten Tribes of the House
of Israel.

have only one choice left, assimilate into rapidly decaying gentile world, or
return to our ancestral tribal homelands in Israel.
The prophets have a lot to say as to the fate of each of
these Lost Israelites. They continue also to speak and reveal to us today, as with
Rabbi Judah ben Samuel, the clues of the prophetic vortex that are rapidly
swirling around our lives as the days of the Messiah become fully manifested. If

The Grand Cross Alignment and the Global
Pressure on Israel to accept the Oslo Accord’s “Land for Peace” and a
Palestinian State
It
was on September 13, 1993, that Oslo Accord was signed in an
official ceremony in Washington D.C by Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin
representing the State of Israel and Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian Liberation Authority.
It was a Declaration of Principles on the Interim Self-Government in
establishing a separate Palestinian State in the West Bank; the tribal homeland
for the Lost 10 Tribes of the House of Israel.
The
Oslo Accord resulted from secret meetings established by Norwegian diplomats in
Oslo and Left-wing Israelis that was an outgrowth of the Madrid Conference in
1991. Three days later, on September 16, 1993, the world-wide Jewish nation
celebrated Rosh Hashanah 5754, the Jewish New Year. The Oslo Accord has
been heralded since that day by Jewish Orthodox and Christian Lost Tribers
world-wide as a political and spiritual disaster. Over 1,000 Israelis died, but
more shocking was the fact that 78% of the Israeli casualties were civilians
murdered.
Seven
years later, after the signing of the
Oslo Accord, Ariel Sharon, a candidate to become the Prime Minister of Israel
ascended the Temple Mount on September 28, 2000, and read the passages
of the final War of
GogUMogog in Ezekiel 38 and
triggered the premeditated Al-Aqsa Intifada that claimed over Jewish lives. Two days later, on September
30, 2000 the Jewish people celebrated the Jewish New Year on Rosh Hashanah
5761.
Though
blamed upon Ariel Sharon and the Jewish State, it was admitted by Imad Faluji,
the Palestinian Authority Communications Minister that this revolt was
pre-meditated and conspired earlier in
July, as quoted:
Imad Faluji – “The Al-Aqsa Intifada emphasizes these
principles and axioms. Whoever thinks that the Intifada broke out because of
the despised Sharon's visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque is wrong, even if this visit
was the straw that broke the back of the Palestinian people. This Intifada
was planned in advance, ever since President Arafat's return from the Camp
David negotiations, where he turned the table upside down on President Clinton.
[Arafat] remained steadfast and challenged [Clinton]. He rejected the American
terms and he did it in the heart of the US.
My visit here in South Lebanon is a clear message to the Zionist enemy. We say:
Just as the national and Islamic Resistance in South Lebanon taught [Israel] a
lesson and made it withdraw humiliated and battered, so shall [Israel] learn a
lesson from the Palestinian Resistance in Palestine. The Palestinian Resistance
will strike in Tel-Aviv, in Ashkelon, in Jerusalem, and in every inch of the
land of natural Palestine. Israel will not have a single quiet night.
There will be no security in the heart of Israel....”
We
must understanding full implication that “Natural Palestine” in the
speech meant “all [the land of] Israel”, when Al-Falouji was telling his
Palestinian comrades that the Palestinian Authority would not accept any
solution that left a state of Israel intact or behind.
The
Oslo Accord was also signed by Mahmoud Abbas for the PLO, the current
President of Fatah in Ramallah, Foreign Minister Shimon Peres for Israel who is
now President of Israel, US Secretary of State Warren Christopher for the
United States and Foreign Minister Andrei Kozyrev for Russia.
Of
interest to our discussion on the End of the Mayan World Age stated to begin on
December 21, 2012, was the fact that the Oslo Accord was completed and signed
officially on August 20, 2000. One year earlier, we ask, did the “Hand of G-d”
heralded in the starry heavens overhead on August 11, 1999 and omen or a
portent of the future by the Grand Cross Alignment that was preceded by
earthquakes across Cyprus, Turkey and over to Iran. Was this an omen or a coincidence?
Innumerable
Jewish rabbis have enunciated the idea that Oslo Accord began the first
Sabbatical Week of Years heralding the “end of days” or the official “time of
the end”. It officially tied the hands of the State of Israel to the
international plan to create a “Land for Peace” that will include a “Two-State
Plan” to create a homeland for the Palestinian people cut right through the
biblical heartland of the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It would
virtually make the State of Israel defenseless against any united Islamic or
world plot to destroy the State of Israel and the Jewish people living within. It
would also make the promised homeland guaranteed upon the “Holy Name of HaShem”
for the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel null and void. But there is one
problem; the promises of the G-d of Israel cannot be declared “null and
void”.
During
these times also, the 1999 Grand Cross Alignment has also opened the gates of
heaven and officially stated that the G-d of Israel was now using the signs in the heavens as a signpost for
the “End of Days” the guela or the redemption of the Jewish people and the
beginning of the reeducation of the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel
concerning their divine destiny for their redemption. The “appointed time” of the literal return of
the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel to the land of their forefathers has now
come.
The 17th
Century Jewish Messianic Awakening by the Vilna Gaon in Europe
In the First
Great Awakening in Great Britain and the United States came in the 1740s to
the 1750s. During those same years, the first global call went out to the Jews
to return to the land of Israel. The
famed Jewish rabbi, the Vilna Gaon (Genius of
Vilinius) living in Lithuania at its capital at Vilinius became one of the
greatest of the Jewish sages. He plumbed the depths of the mystical and
esoteric prophecies of the Jewish prophets.
According to the
Vilna Gaon, the return of the Messiah was not an “event” but a “process”. It would not come in a moment of time, but
would reach its greatest revealing over a longer period of time. Since the Jewish people believed that the
coming of the Messiah could gradually be revealed over “Seven Years” or the
Sabbatical Week of Years, the coming or the revealing of the Messiah would
occur on the Eighth Year. So this Sabbatical Cycle was carefully watched and
observed by the faithful covenanted Jews; who remained faithful to their chosen
covenant as YHVH G-d’s Lawgiver.
Genesis 49:10 – “The Scepter shall not depart from Judah nor
a Lawgiver from between his feet; until Shiloh (Messiah) comes; and unto Him
shall the gathering of the people be.”
Psalms 60:7; Psalms 108:8 – “Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is
Mine; Ephraim also is the strength of Mine Head; Judah is my lawgiver;”
It was also the opinion of this great “Genius
at Vilna” that the redemption of the Land of Israel would not be completed
until the presence of the ancient Hebrews, whose visible remnant were the Jews,
were back living in the Land of Israel.
When the majority of its population was Jewish and assisting in the
redemption of the “Land”, only then would it be the time for the preparation of
the coming of the Messiah.
By the turn of the century in 1800, the
Vilna Gaon’s disciples were now prepared for their aliyah (return) to the Land
of Israel. They were destined to become
part of the Jewish movement of preparing the Land of Israel for the Messiah.
By the year of 1808, the first of the disciples of the
Vilna Gaon had arrived into the land of Israel paving the way for a greater
aliyah (“return”) of the Jewish people by the years of the early 1840s.

The First Great Awakening with the
American Lost Israelite Colonies
In the meantime, during the height of
the rabbinic ministry of the Vilna Gaon, the Lost Israelite Christian preachers
of the English colonists were reviving their congregations on sermons
concerning the “Great Judgment Day of the Lord”. What a way to revive the Lost Israelites
whoseforefathers of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, had been
exiledbecause of their rebellion and defiance to the G-d of Israel. Especially in the “Backwater districts” of
America, the Congregationalists, the Presbyterians, the Baptists and the
Methodists itinerant preachers were pounding the pulpits throughout the “burnt
over districts” with fiery speeches of exhortations.
The arrival of the youthful Anglican
preacher, George Whitefield, a true Ephraimite brought a new type of sermon
that sparked a conflagration of religious fervent in Colonial America. During
1739 and 1740, at the height of the rabbinic yeshiva teaching ministry of the
Vilna Gaon, this young “Israelite” preacher of the House of Ephraim, raced
through the colonies preaching fire and brimstone to vast crowds in great
pulpits. His greatest fame was as an open-air orator exhorting vivid
apocalyptic passages to Lost Israelites in the meadows and valleys of New
England and the Southern colonies.
He stimulated the equally fiery Lost
Israelite preacher, Jonathan Edwards whose most famous sermon was “Sinners
in the Hands of an Angry God”. What a sermon that would be appropriate to
modern day materialists! When the
catastrophes of the Dark Star Nibiru along with her twin solar system comes sailing through our solar
system, we might be wondering, why did we not listen?
The
“First Great Awakening” was a call to the citizens to the
Anglo-Saxon Ephraimites living in the land of the Isles of Britannia plus the
English Ephraimite colonies in America. Their message was “Fear G-d and Give
Glory to Him for the Hour of His Judgment has Come”.
Yet, within a decade or two, the fields
were quiet as a new fervent was on the rise; the Jesuit, Cabalist, Masonic
rebellion of the American colonies along the Eastern Seaboard of America. The Promised Land was soon to make her own
roots. She would begin to develop her
legacy and become the nesting ground for the future Mystery Babylon.
The Lost Tribes of Israel in America
were soon caught up for a second time in the Second Great Awakening of 1840s. They were known as “Adventists”
for they were looking for the “advent” of the Messiah. They were searching diligently for the
prophesies of the ancient Jewish and Israelite prophets.
They were not caught up into
anti-Semitism for there were only about 15,000 Jews in the entire 13 colonies
along the Atlantic seaboard. They
diligently studied the stars and plotted out the prophecies fulfilled over
their past history leading to certain fulfillments in their immediate future.
What they could determine to be literal prophesies they kept their
interpretations very factual.
There was a major problem for them;
Jerusalem was not of any significance on the global political radar screen as a
capital of the Hebrew or Jewish race. So
symbolism crept in early in their prophetic interpretations. All they knew the
Messiah was coming now, and His coming was going to be so visible that every
eye around the world will see Him in all His power and great glory.
They made contact with the Karaite
Jews, who taught them how to calculate new moons and dates for the future
festivals of the Lord. What they failed
to comprehend was that this process of redemption was moving with equal speed
with their literal cousins; the Jews. As
Arie Morgenstern wrote in the seminal
article published with the title, “Two Hundred
Years in Eretz Yisrael: the Seminal Aliyah of the Talmidei HeGra(1808-1810):
Arie Morgenstern – “Their (Disciples of the
Vilna Gaon) aliyah was a part of a Messianic revival that took place among the
Jewish people in the early nineteenth century.
But unlike the thousands of other Jews who had left the lands of the
Ottoman Empire for Eretz Yisrael at that time to await the coming of Mashiach,
whom they expected to arrive suddenly and by miraculous means in 1840, the
Gra’s disciples clung to the view that the Geulah was a historical process that
should be advanced by human action.”
The American Lost Israelite Colonists
and the Return to Primitive Torah Observance
During the Second Great Awakening, the
Ephraimite Adventists were now watching and preparing for the literal coming of
the Messiah in 1843 to 1844. The Messiah
did not come. The Advent Movement
faltered yet they persistently returned to the bible restudying and calculating
their prophetic future. They began to
experiment with primitive forms of festival celebrationsin their spring and fall “camp meetings that lasted for seven days. Many
of them began keeping the Seventh-day Sabbath, became very ritualistic in their
observances, developed a bloodless diet of vegetarianism or clean meat
observation, since Jewish kashrut slaughtering of animals was neither available
nor comprehended.
The Adventists still maintained the
hope of the coming of the Messiah for they were living in a religious world of
Christian post-millennialism (the Millennium is already here), where to Roman
Catholicism believed that Rome was the New Jerusalem and the Pope was the
literal Vicar of Christ who literally is spiritually here when they partook of
the “wafer” at communion. The fervor of
the Adventists appeared to be a gift from the Divine that was given to them.
Over in the lands on the western Eurasian
continent, the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel were also becoming restless
for in theSecond Great Awakening of the 1840s, the first call for them to await the
literal return of the Messiah son of David was spreading across from America to
Europe.
The impact was so powerful, that even those
who wanted to invent and spiritualize their own identity and call themselves
“Spiritual Israelites” could no longer believe in the spiritual return of the
Messiah. Such was the most poignant of the messages of the 1844 Second Great
Awakening, “The Messiah is coming literally in clouds of great glory”.
On these same isles two millenniums prior,
the ancestors of these Ephraimites living on the Isle of Britannia were touched
by the “Good News” of the Hebrew Nazarene disciples of Jesus the Nazarene. During
that era, their religious practices though primitive Israelite in origin, were
mixed with pagan idolatry. Yet they were yet touched by the Torah message that
the very manifestation of the Divine, the Messiah, would give up His life for
them. They were baptized in the purification waters of the Jewish mikveh. Soon these new converts were forming family
alliances with the Lost Israelites imprinting their pagan descendants with the
sacred bloodlines of the Israelites who would someday realize that they had a
sacred chosen prophetic destiny (Ezekiel 36).
When the “appointed time” would come in the
future, the genetic Israelite imprint would also make them yearn to “Go Home to
Israel!” As the paganized children of
the Israelites soon spread throughout the world, they would bring their friends
to their sacred ecclesia, a half-way house waiting for their final redemption
and aliyah (Return) to the lands of their forefathers. What they did not know, but were soon to
realize, their destiny was to become Torah observant Israelites, reunited in
brotherhood with the Jews, their cousins, and remain “friends of the Lost Sheep’s Messiah.”
European Imperialism and the Global
Evangelism of Lost Israelites
During this era in the mid-19th
century, all the nations of the world were impacted by the quest of the British
imperialists. It was the goal of the British Empire to create the largest
empire of all time. Soon the British Ephraimite Nation had control of all the
shipping “gates of commerce” at every vital and strategic port or commercial
center around the globe. From there
their missionaries spread the “Good News” to all the nations of the world. On
the heels of British imperialism the Lost Tribers began to claim their chosen
destiny to be a “Light to the World”.
Truly it was corrupted in part, but “light” pointed to Israel and the
G-d of Israel. Yet the 19th century Victorian age British were not
alone.
On the heels of the Brits from the
Tribe of Ephraim came the Dutch colonists from the Tribe of Zebulon. Then there
came the Northern French colonists from the Tribe of Reuben, the Northern
Germans colonists from the Tribe of Issachar, the Scandinavian Vikings of
Norway from the Tribe of Benjamin, the Swedes from the Tribe of Naphtali, and
the Jewish Spaniards of Brigancia, Spain that were also imbedded with many
Jewish bloodlines scattered across the Spanish nation.
It was most fascinating to realize that
when the Sephardic Jews of Spain were sent into exile from Spain in 1492, the
Nation of Spain was beginning her imperial quest to the New World. The
exploration ships that were sent to find India in the west were the same
explorers that found a “New World”. Their ships were commanded by a certain
Jewish Kabbalist explorer, known today by all people as Christopher Columbus
whose birth name was really Salvador Fernando Zarco, “sailed the ocean
blue in 1492”.
All these nations founded by the Lost Tribes
of the House of Israel were on the quest of nationalism and imperialism as they
sought colonies all around the world to call their strategic national
interests. Even the Norwegian and
Swedish Vikings made it to Russia and Constantinople.
The
17th century Jewish Talmudic Sage confronts the Mission of Jesus the
Nazarene
The
call of the Messiah, whose only divine mission was to “Find the Lost Sheep of
the House of Israel” began with a mission instituted by the famed Hillel the
Great, the Nasi of the Jewish Sanhedrin in Jerusalem to bring a message of
salvation and redemption to the gentile world where the Lost Ten Tribes of the
House of Israel were scattered for almost eight centuries. Now these lost Israelite pagans had hope that
they could also be redeemed “live in the world to come” along with their Jewish
brothers. As documented in a series of articles concerning the famed 18th
century Talmudist Rabbi Jacob Emden, series titled, “Divine Mission to bring the ‘Good News’ to the Gentiles by the Seven
Noahide Laws”,
we read concerning Jesus the Nazarene:
Destination Yisra'el – “Rabbi Emden then came to the conclusion
that Jesus and his Apostle to the
Gentiles (Paul) lived their lives completely in harmony with the Torah and the Halakha (how to keep the
Torah and the full “letter of the Law”). He also came to believe that it was the intention of Jesus to break the bondage of the lights of Torah
and scatter them to the entire Gentile
world on the ancient rabbinic
commands called the Noahide Laws.
Emden then reinterpreted the Gospels and found them in harmony with the premise
that the Jewish law was eternally
binding upon all Jews and that they practiced halakhic observant Judaism all the days of their lives.
These concepts were revolutionary in
1757 when he wrote a letter to
the Council of the Four Lands.
These concepts are still revolutionary
today.
Rabbi Emden’s first revolutionary concept was that Yahshua haNotzri (Jesus the Nazarene) was
fully a Jew and throughout His
entire life and ministry, He lived a life in complete harmony with the Laws of
Moses that were given to the
Israelites at the mount called Sinai…
What Rabbi Emden did come to realize in his study
in the mid-18th century, was that Jesus the Nazarene took an ancient Jewish law that certain Gentiles also had an inheritance in
the “world to come” and put it into action as His mission to
the Gentile world. This God-given
inheritance had been cast aside
by part of the schools of the Pharisees. It was never-the-less accepted by the rabbinic sage and Sanhedrin
president (Nasi) Hillel the Elder and his disciples. There was also
evidence that they, neither Jesus nor
Paul violated any of the 613 commandments given to the Israelites
(Jewish people today) at Sinai but by implementing
these ancient “seven commandments of the Sons of Noah” enhanced the Torah ideal
that the Jews were given the
responsibility to be a “light to the world.”
Rabbi Emden then wrote a letter to the Council of Four
Lands. This council was
the central institution for the Jewish
self-governance in Poland. This letter came because they sought his expert opinion for guidance. They wanted to know whether
they were permitted, according to the
Torah, to inform the civil and
ecclesiastical authorities about the heretical sect of the Shabbateans called the Frankists.”
This
revelation by one of the greatest of the Jewish Talmudist sages was amazing and
profound. Without the intervention of Rabbi Jacob Emden in the fighting the Shabbatean
heresy in Central and Eastern Europe in the mid 17th century,
Judaism as we know it today may not have been saved. The fact that in his
studies on all the 50 plus Messiahs that had risen in the eras of historical
Judaism since the time of the 1st century Temple of Herod era, he
saw that there was only one “Messiah” who was a halakhic observant Jew who
lived his live above and beyond the “letter of the law” was profound.
Someday
in a future era, according to the Vilna Gaon, when the 6,000
years of Man, when the “days of the Gentiles” would be over, it would then be
time for the G-d of Israel to begin the process of the final Guela, the
Redemption of Klal Yisra’el (All Israel); the Lost Sheep of the House of
10-Israel and the Jewish people of the House of Judah, living in Israel and
those still scattered predominately in the diaspora of Europe and America

This, the 7th week in
the Biblical year, has seen the disappointing end of the 8-day Gaza, “Pillar of
Cloud War”. The rulers of Israel have bent to the demands and the ploys
of their enemies. They have signed a Cease Fire Agreement which appoints
the sworn enemy of Israel as the ‘overseer’ of the Peace; Mohammed Morsi, new
Ruler of Egypt.
Morsi, has openly declared
his vision to bring Jerusalem under Arab Muslim control. In this same
week, he has declared Israel as an evil aggressor of mankind. He is now
hailed by the world as ‘The Peace Maker’! Worst of all, Israel, in committing
to this agreement without even meeting the ‘Peace Maker’, has thereby
acknowledged Hamas, the internationally recognized terror organization, as a
legal ruling entity!
Israel has no doubt
been lulled (or forced) into this snake pit by President Obama who engineered
the fall of President Mubarak of Egypt and who is backing the rise and
empowerment of the violently anti-Semitic Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt.
Whatever develops out of this trap for Israel, there is no doubt that Israel
will be thereby bound to some other ‘pay-off’ to Obama to bring about a
Palestinian State within Israel borders and share the Holy Land with its avowed
exterminators. Israel’s
rulers just are not willing to accept that Jews cannot entrust their Security
to Jew-haters.
With this dark stage
setting, let us now draw inspiration from our Torah Reading for the bleak
future now facing Israel under such a spineless rulership. As a backdrop
to this setting in the powder keg Middle East, let us for a moment consider
what the main motivation was for Israel rulers caving in: Barak (Min. of
Defense) has clearly spelt out that Israel does not wish to conquer
Hamas. This would leave Israel with the impossible task to rule probably
the world’s largest terrorist nest, Gaza.
Already, in 2005, the
Israeli government has forcibly disenfranchised 10 000 Jews from their homes,
farms and businesses in Gush Katif, Gaza (bordering Ashdod).
Why? They did this because the world regarded it as totally unacceptable
that the territory of only 10 000 Jews should stop the urgently required expansion
of overcrowded Islamic Gaza. So, Israel bent to the demands of their self-declared
exterminators.
The alternative for
Israel (the Jews) would be to settle a million Jews in Gush Katif. This
however, is an order for the impossible, for there just does not exist those
numbers of relocating Jews – not even if all of the rest of some 7 million Jews
in the world returned to their Homeland to join the 6 million already in Israel.
Two factors prevent this:
The residents of Gush
Katif themselves who were very selective as to which type of religious Jew
(only) could be accepted, and the
Reality of turning
the desert into highly productive green land requires a special ‘breed’ of
‘super human’ who does not flinch before the harsh elements of the desert
wilderness. These are few in number
"Allah is our objective; the Quran is
our law, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of
Allah is the highest of our aspirations."
So, in
all fairness to our overwhelmed Israeli rulers, who are also the targets of the
exterminators of Jews from all over the world who are now ganging up for the
Final Solution - let us then also insert this element in our turning towards
this week’s Torah Reading for solutions, encouragement and assurances:
Genesis 28:10 –
“Jacob departed from Beer-sheba and went toward Hara. He encountered the place
and spent the night there because the sun had set; he took from the stones of
the place which he arranged around his head, and lay down in that place. And he
dreamt, and behold! A ladder was set earthward and it reached heavenward; and
behold! Angels of G-d were ascending and descending on it.
And behold! HaShem
was standing over him and He said, “I am HaShem, G-d of Abraham your father and
G-d of Isaac; the ground upon which you are lying, to you will I give it and to
your descendants. Your offspring shall be as the dust of the earth, and you
shall spread out powerfully westward, eastward, northward, and southward; and
all the families of the earth shall bless themselves by you and by your
offspring. Behold, I am with you; I will guard you wherever you go, and I will
return you to this soil; for I will not forsake you until I will have done what
I have spoken about you.”
Now
amazingly, this Promise is etched out physically, to this day, in the shadows
of the mountains surrounding Bethel, North of Jerusalem! Vendyl Jones,
famous for his archaeological discoveries in Israel, published the amazing
satellite photo above of the hills of Jerusalem.
These
words “Ki Luz HaShem Ephraim” are formed by the shadows of the mountains because
HaShem turns around, resurrects Ephraim. ‘Ki’ meaning “because or
for the sake of”. ‘Luz’ can mean **to
turn, to coil, to bend or to twist. Luz is also the name of the top vertebrae
of the spine, sometimes called the "resurrection bone" because it
remains even after all the other bones of a body have decomposed. Luz was the
name of the place where Jacob had his vision of the ladder reaching into heaven
[Genesis 28:18-19]. Jacob called the same place Beth-El (“House of God”).
'Ki' – Because ‘Luz’ – Bethel; ‘YHVH’ - The Sacred Name
of the G-d of Israel
‘Ephraim’ – A Biblical term referring to the Ten Tribes of Israel.
The
name Luz is formed in the shadows precisely over the location of present-day
Beth-El. The play on "resurrection, could well refer to the prophetically
destined 'Resurrection' of the re-united 12-Tribed House of Israel in the
Prophecy of the “Dead Bones” – Ezekiel 36, just before the
2-House Restoration Prophecy of Ezekiel 37:15. Thus, these words embalmed and eternalized
in the shadows of the mountains could also be interpreted as:
“Because HaShem turns around, resurrects Ephraim to the
House of G-d.” These
Hebrew letters may be hard distinguishable for non-Hebrew readers. But you
can be assured that I personally tested it on my Israeli grandchildren, (covering
the white print cues), and right down to the youngest, they recognized it
without me giving any hints whatsoever re the topic, location, etc. To them it
was just a picture and I asked them if they could identify any Hebrew letters.
Let us
turn to our opening Scripture, highlighted above. HaShem makes a Divine Promise
and Undertaking to Jacob. He will give the descendants of Jacob the land on
which Jacob had the dream, in the area of Luz, named Bethel by Jacob.
Jacob
was the father of the 12 patriarchal fathers of 12 Tribes. They were to
be the conduits of repeated Divine Blessings to righteous people selected by
G-d. We have been following these Blessings throughout the six previous
Parashot (weekly Torah Readings) and found them intertwined with G-d’s Purpose
of raising a ‘body’ of rulers who would rule with Him in His Kingdom.
We
saw in Parashat Lech Lecha how G-d took Avraham (Jacob’s grandfather) up Mt
Kabir in Shomron (Samaria) to show him the Promised Land in which his descendants,
grown into uncountable numbers, nations and kingdoms, would one day
settle. Mount Kabir is merely some 30 Km north of Luz, Bethel. All this
area today is directly at the heart of the current so-called West bank ‘occupied
territories’, which include Gaza.
While
Gaza is in the territory of Judah, Shomron is mainly Ten Triber Land. The
Northern Ten Tribes of Israel, later rejected by G-d and exiled from the Land
because of their rejection of Torah, became also known as ‘Ephraim’ – who
received a Prime Blessing as one of the 13 Tribes. In Prophecy, the
rebellious 10 Tribes are often referred to as ‘Ephraim’. Many clear cut
Prophecies confirm their Return to the Land in the End Time (Messianic Times),
a Return which will go through great trials and troubles for the nation – like
birth pangs before a new birth.
This photo therefore confirms the Blessing to Jacob in this Reading and puts
the spotlight on the Return not only of Judah (the Jews) but also Ephraim. This
is not a suggestion of ‘adding’ to the Divine Promise
but merely timely revealation the full Intent of the Divine Promise. Most
pro-Zionist Christians (from amongst whom the pro-Jewish and pro-Rabbinic Ten
Tribers are evolving) today think that modern Israel represents the Return of
Judah only. Even Jews have to be reminded that the Geulah (Redemption)
can NOT occur without the physical Return of the Ten Tribes.
What now is the implication of this Divine Undertaking of a Promised Land awaiting
the Return of its people? Simply, that the shortage of people which
causes the rulers of Israel to give away their Land to their enemies and to
retreat to what they themselves know is an indefensible small area, does NOT
have to be! There are many millions of re-awakening Ten Tribers across
the world who are more and more feeling the urge to be physically part of the
Land of Israel.
Our opening texts of Va’yetzey give us the Divine Confirmation of Return: “I will
give you and your descendants the land on which you are laying. Your descendants
will be like the dust of the earth…”
Fifteen million
Jews are not nearby enough to fill the Promised Land (even only the current half
of it, West of the Jordan River, never mind the more than double Greater Israel
East of the Jordan River according to Biblical specifications!). So also,
this quantification of “dust of the earth” can NOT refer to 15 million people (Jews) only.
Current Israel West of the Jordan river requires many millions of Jews to settle
sufficiently for self-protection against the claims of the enemies of G-d’s
Promises. Those numbers of Jews simply do NOT exist! This is true while
Ephraim is awakening and calling, pleading and praying for the privilege to return
to the Land of Israel.
Genesis 29:15 - “I
(HaShem) am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring
you back to this land.”
This is addressed as
the descendants of Jacob – ALL 12 Tribes. HaShem will bring them
back. Surely, it is His Spirit that is awakening millions of non-Jews
(Lost Ten Tribers to whom the Promise ALSO goes) to Torah awareness and
Return?
WHAT are religious Jews going to do about this? What are Rabbis going to do
about this Divine Drive? What are the rulers of Israel who dislike and harass
religious Jews, whom they derogatorily refer to as ‘Messianics’ (viz. those
awaiting the Coming of Mashiach), going to do about it? Will they
continue selling themselves and the nation out to their enemies and self-declared
exterminators of Jews?*
And then, what is there in this Divine Promise to Jacob, for disheartened,
disillusioned and reaction-less 10-Israel across the world to whom “Return” has
become a total Impossibility? Let us read it and take courage.
Genesis
29:15 - “I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will
bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have
promised you."
Wow! What a
Promise by Him Who rejected 10-Israel as His Bride, called her a Harlot!
He Who abandoned her, cut her off from His Covenant.
Does that not … should that not propel 10-Israel into ACTION – concerted Action?
But, NOT Action:
That is more
concerned with the spiritual wellbeing of Judah than with their own;
That remains in the
same state of rebellion against Torah and G-d’s appointed Lawgivers (Psalms
60:7; 108:8; Genesis 49:10) as their ancient rebellious forefathers;
That arrogantly exalt
themselves as superior in knowledge to the 3500 year old Academy of Judaism;
That insists to
evangelize Jews and turn them away from Torah;
That want to change
Israel to their anti-Torah preferences;
That disrespect the
true Jewish culture;
All
these attitudes are exactly the Cause of the great Division! Surely, the G-d of
Israel Who is prepared to take His Harlot Bride back, expects her to now abide by
His ‘House Rules’, not theirs, borne out of the Exile amongst anti-Torah and anti-Jewish
nations? Surely, they should now learn at the feet of His “faithful Son”,
Judah, who has maintained His Household throughout the time that they were “in
the pig sties”?
Any
soul who is interested to “Return to their Original Marriage Contract”, are
hereby invited to communicate with Kol Ha’Tor who can guide

Your co-operation in this is vital! G-d is waiting. He has made it
all possible. He has revealed the Way of Return. He has called and
re-awakened 10-Israel and is busy doing so. It now is the INDIVIDUAL who
has to yield, change their way, and RETURN!
This
Message is confirmed in the Haftarah reading for this week. Refer Hosea
12:13 - 14:9. This Message could be summed up as in:
Hosea 14:1-2 – “Return,
Israel, to HaShem your God. Your sins have been your downfall! Take words with
you and return to HaShem."
The context of this
entire reading, of Va’yetzey infers “10-Israel” for “Israel”, as opposed to
‘Judah’. “Sin” is simply non-conformance with Torah
requirements. Sin (transgression of Torah) comes about not only by rebellion
against Torah, or by willfulness, self-interest, but also through ignorance, lack of understanding and proper teaching, exile from the Culture of
the G-d of Israel.
“Take (His) Words along with you and RETURN to His
Culture, religion, system, fraternity.” Remove that audacious spirit from
you which makes YOU and YOUR way preferable. Humble yourself and trust in
HIS Way – which includes the Guidance which He has provided through appointing
Judah as His Lawgiver.

Genesis
29:20 – “If G-d will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am
taking … so that I return safely to my father’s household, then HaShem will be
my G-d.”
The world around is quickly becoming transformed into a
polarizing a world of two choices: for G-d or for Satan, for Goodness or for
Evil, for Restoration of All Israel or against the restoration of the House of
Israel and the House of Judah. As it comes to the Lost Ten Tribes of the House
of Israel, our naturalized homelands as we know them to be will soon disappear
and we will have only one choice left, assimilate into Clinton’s global village
or return to our ancestral tribal homelands in Israel. The prophets have a lot
to say as to the fate of each of these Lost Israelites.
This comes to one sobering conclusion, if you are a
descendant of the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel and you despise your
brothers, the Jews, you will be left cohabitating with peoples who will have a
genetic hatred to you even though you think you want to be a part of them.
So today, the G-d of Israel is whistling or coaxing you to
come back to the brotherhood of Klal Yisra’el (All Israel). To learn more about
