It was in the summer of 2016 that Destination Yisrael posted a fascinating article on the discovery and the messianic implications of the restoration of the biblical sheep back to the lands of the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, titled, “Patriarch Jacob’s Sheep discovered, now prepared for Aliyah to the Land of Israel and herald the Future Messianic Era of Spiritual Enlightenment.”
Destination Yisrael - “It was in the year of 2014 that Jewish newlyweds, Gil and Jenna Lewinsky began a new journey, they never expected to make. Both at the age of 31, they met and married in Jerusalem. Jenna worked for the Israeli foreign ministry and her husband Gill was a freelance journalist who worked for the Jerusalem Post.
After one year of marriage, they chose to return to the birth roots of Jenna in native South Africa. One year later they moved to Canada the homeland of Gill in the western regions of the Pacific coastline of Canada in Vancouver. Here they dreamed of becoming cattle ranchers.
It started out as a Valentine surprise when Gil gave a new bunny to his wife, Jenna and soon they had a nest full of bunnies and a new reality of life. They realized that birthing calves as cattle ranching was not their cup of tea and neither were bunnies, but the hand of the Divine opened up a new door to their lives.
First went the bunnies when they discovered an adopted mother, yet during the transition, the same women whom they received the bunnies was looking for someone to adopt some sheep. These were sheep so rare and so special that their genetic testing suggested that their ancestral origins were once in Sumer and the Middle East. Now with clues from the Torah, there soon arrived a flock of “spotted and speckled” sheep just like the flocks that Laban gave Jacob as payment for the services the Patriarch Jacob; the ancestral forefather of the 12-Tribes of Israel.
The Agility of the Lambs of the Jacob Sheep Strain
This article was widely accepted internationally. Elisabeth Gelb, an associate of Jenna and Gil Lewinsky in Abbotsford, BC, sent us a note of appreciation with further insight of the mission of the international evacuation of about 119 of Jacob’s “spotted and speckled” sheep to the Land of Israel.
They expected that they would initially begin settling into their new home called Heritage Farms in the region of Galil (near the Sea of Galilee). Eventually they were preparing to flourish in the futuristic era of King Messiah with the restoration of the “Commonwealth of Israel” across the Levant from Egypt’s Nile River to the west over to the Euphrates River to the east. As Elisabeth Gelb, an associate with Gil and Jenna Lewinsky earlier wrote to Destination Yisrael:
Elisabeth Gelb – “No doubt, by now you have heard the exciting news of the historic return of the Biblical Yaakov Sheep to Israel by September 2016. In May, my husband and I met Jenna and Gil Lewinsky on their property in Abbotsford, BC. They are the couple who realized the significance of the Sheep of Yaakov Avinu and set about to return them home to Israel.
No small feat, as they had no prior farming experience! Despite ongoing challenges (permits, medical testing, vaccinations and local anti-Semitism) they have prevailed. To overcome bureaucracy in both Canada and Israel, is nothing short of a miracle!
In fact, Canada is not on the approved list to import livestock to Israel, but the Yaakov Sheep were granted One Time Permission! In August, the Yaakov Sheep will be trucked from BC to Ontario for one-month quarantine; then on to Israel (El AL Israel Airlines partially subsidized flights).
Additional expenses include building crates for flight, inoculations, vitamins, vet bills, barn rental, feed and medical testing to satisfy both countries. Once in Israel, Yaakov Sheep will live on a Heritage Farm near the Galil. Their wool will be used for tzitzit and tallit and horns for shofarim (not meat consumption).
The return of the Sheep is causing a worldwide sensation, especially in Israel and the momentum is growing, as it becomes closer to reality. Jenna and Gil are working tirelessly with selfless devotion.
They will make Aliyah with the Sheep and dedicate their lives to their care in Israel. To reach Israel, they need $54,000(fifty-four thousand dollars Canadian) This amount will cover expenses to Israel and allow the Lewinsky's to focus on the immediate challenges, without additional stress of fundraising.

"Baa-aliyah": BRINGING the Jacob Sheep To ISRAEL
The 2,000-year saga of the return of Jacob’s sheep to the Holy Land has only begun as prophesied in the Book of Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 34:12 – “I will deliver them out of all places whither they have been scattered in the day of clouds and thick darkness.
As reported in The Times of Israel article, titled, “Barreling down the highway with 120 sheep; Who need’s a shepherd’s staff when you have an 18 wheeler?”, the transportation of the 120 Jacob’s Sheep from Abbotsford, Canada, near Vancouver to a farm about an hour outside the Toronto Pearson Airport for quarantine began in earnest on Friday, July 29, 2016.
There crossing the Canadian Rockies was to be one of the most unusual aliyahs in human and animal husbandry history. The modern shepherds did not have a wooden staff in their hands but rather they rested on a steering wheel of a large massive 18-wheeler animal transport vehicle.
The 2,500 mile (4,000 kilometers) ten-day journey the 120 sheep began their international trek to a tmporary rendezvous on the eastern side of the Continental Divide; a quarantine farm outside of Toronto, Canada on the eastern side of the North American North American Continent.
After their first quest, and the quarantine was complete to the satisfaction of both the Nations of Canada and the State of Israel, the next preparation was to prepare to “fly on the wings of an eagle” out of Toronto Pearson Airport in route to the Holy Land of Israel.
The Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was prepared in their making a special, one-time exception to prepare for this historic biblical return in baa-liyah of the Jacob’s Sheep. Again for the first time in 3,000 years they were traveling to live near the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret) along the base of the Golan Heights.
This was not just an event that occurred but one that was a center of high-level negotiations between the State of Israel and the Nation of Canada.
The sheep were at the center of high-level negotiations between Israel and Canada to allow the Lewinskys to bring the flock to Israel, even though Israel does not allow for the importation of livestock from Canada.
The sheep are today as a special breed called “Jacob’s sheep,” and believed to be the genetic descendants of the breed of sheep that Jacob took from Laban in the book of Genesis.
Jacob’s Sheep now were saying good-by to Canada and Preparing for a Historic Flight on the “Wings of an Eagle” to the Holy Land where the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob once lived. As reported in April, 2016 in the Destination Yisrael article, titled, “Patriarch Jacob’s Sheep discovered, now prepared for Aliyah to the Land of Israel and herald the Future Messianic Era of Spiritual Enlightenment.”

Destination Yisrael – “As we have taken the story of the reclamation, redemption into the potential redemption of the Lost “Jacob Sheep” back to the lands where the Patriarch Jacob lived, it appears that the finger of the Almighty One of Israel is even more today the “Guiding Force” as the Divine Architect of the Universes opens the doors for the vast Vortex of the Messianic Era of King Messiah to reestablish HaShem’s reign over Planet Earth.
So was it a coincidence as the Lewinsky family was seeking to bridge the international diplomatic “red tape” seeking to restore the “Jacob Sheep” back to the land of Israel, that one of Israel’s most ardent defenders of the “Divine Mandate to settle the land”, Jewish Home MK Uri Yehudi Arial, was placed in the one governmental position to make the future reestablishment of the rebuilding of the Beit HaMikdash (Holy Temple) and the sacrificial services of sheep, goats and cattle a living reality.
Not only that, MK Uri Yehuda Arial was also given by the G-d of Israel, the strong voice of MK Avelet Shaked, a secular Zionist whose prime mission through the Jubilee Year of 2016 was to redesign and establish a legal structure for all the land plots in Shomron and Judea whose legal status has not been determined to organized these plots of land and any prior documented prior ownership of the land will someday be revealed prepared for legal transfer to Jewish or Lost Israelite possession.
Though a secular Jew, MK Avelet Shaked appears to have an open and spiritual mind, a vision of providing legal propriety rights to owners of all lands in the “disputed regions”. This would allow the residents of Judea and Samaria to own the legal title and Deed of Trust of land ownership that will be secured by the State of Israel so that all private ownership of land that have a legal “Deed of Trust” will remain secured by the Israeli Supreme Court.
Yet one of the greatest hurtles the Lewinsky family felt they had to accomplish would be the blessing of the Divine through one of Israel greatest sages of our modern era to bring the sheep to the Land of Israel. And so they were privileged over a year ago to meet one of the greatest of the mystic sages of modern Israel history, the renowned Israeli Kabbalist Rabbi Amram Vakhnin.

In these days of dilemma, of trying to find the spiritual support for their international mission of returning the “Jacob Sheep” back to the biblical heartland of the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Lewinskys sought the spiritual advice of the famous mystic rabbi, Rabbi Amram Vakhnin of Ashdod, beseeching his advice of whether they were presumptuous on taking on such a noble deed as returning the Sheep of the Patriarch Jacob back to Israel.
This famed rabbi responded that the sheep do not belong to the land of Canada but rather they belong “back to the land of Israel.” Their hearts were rejoicing, but the final part of the rabbi’s counsel was even more profound. As Rabbi Vakhnin continued:
Rabbi Amram Vakhnin of Ashdod – “The sheep must be escorted to Israel by Torah-observant Jews,”
Both Jenna and Gil Lewinsky believed that the mystic rabbi was reaffirming what they had seen their role as the guardians of the “Jacob Sheep, the future “National Animal of the State of Israel.” As Gil Lewinsky stated:
Gil Lewinsky – “We have seen ourselves with the sheep. You have to be G-d fearing and honor the traditions of the Torah to work with the sheep. It is a very special mission to return them to Israel. We agree fully with his advice and insights.
The Sheep can easily cause envy and this is recorded in our TaNaKh (Old Testament Bible) all the way from Laban’s sons in Genesis to Joseph’s multicolored coat that was made from “Jacob Sheep” wool. Rabbi Vakhnin recommended that my wife and I be the shepherds that escort them back to Israel.
This gives us confidence to continue despite any challenges we occasionally face.”
It was in early January 2017 that the last of the Jacob’s Sheep finally arrived in the Land of Israel as they flew over the Atlantic on the multiple flights of the Jewish National Airlines, El-Al. The Lewinsky family were able to find a new home for the Jacob Sheep on in the hilly region of Nes Harim about five miles to the west of Jerusalem and east of Ashdod
Renowned Israeli kabbalist’s tzitzit arrived at the new home of Jacob’s Sheep in Nes Harim on Sunday where he blessed the flock in a deeply moving ceremony.
Rabbi Vakhnin was overcome with joy as he picked up each sheep, held them close and kissed them on the cheeks. The animals clearly enjoyed the attention and were drawn to the rabbi, crowding around the mystic.
After an emotional meeting, a very special ceremony took place. Gil and Jenna Lewinsky, the couple responsible for bringing the ancestral flock home to Israel, gathered all the sheep in front of the rabbi. Spreading a tallit (prayer shawl) over Rabbi Vakhnin, the group held each corner of the sacred garment resembling a wedding canopy.

From underneath the tallit, the rabbi blessed the sheep that in the merit of the patriarch Jacob, the sheep will be “fruitful and multiply.” As Gill added:
Gill Lewinsky – “The more Jacob’s sheep fill the land, the more blessing will come to Israel.”
“Jacob’s spiritual wealth came from his sheep,” explained Gil. “The more Jacob’s sheep fill the land, the more blessing will come to Israel.”
Rabbi Vakhnin then sat down and privately revealed to the Lewinsky’s their sacred custody of the sheep are now in their ancestral homeland. The Lewinsky’s would be permitted to earn money from the sale of their wool and milk, but that it was prohibited to them the Jacob Sheep for meat.
The Lewinsky couple were then instructed that the couple has a sacred mandate that they were to “increase the herd until the sheep fill the Land of Israel.” As the mystic Rav spoke:
Rav Amram Vakhnin – “The sheep are for the Jews what the buffalo were for the Native Americans.”
Gil Lewinsky quickly caught the message when he stated:
Gill Lewinsky – “Not only do we use their milk and meat for food, but their skin is used to make Torah scrolls, their horns make shofars (horns blown for ritual purposes), and their wool is used to make tzitzit (ritual fringes). When the Torah tells us to bring sheep for a sacrifice in the Temple, these are the [very animals] it is speaking about.”

The Lewinsky’s have been battling bureaucracy, struggling for years to return the sheep and at one point, nearly gave up. On a trip to Israel last year, while searching for a home for their flock they met with Rabbi Vakhnin, a noted kabbalist rabbi.
Gil and Jenna Lewinsky’s dream of returning to their ancestral homeland, reuniting Israel with the ancestral flock, finally came true in early December, and they attribute their improbable success to the kabbalist’s blessing.
The search for a home for the Jacob’s Sheep now began in earnest. The regions around Galil (Sea of Galilee) and the Golan Heights were becoming a potential war zone as the ISIS – Syrian war continued to devastate the entire region of the Middle East from the Jordan to the Euphrates River.
They went to visit a former ostrich farm located in southern Israel but the accommodations for a flock of 120 sheep was minimal for the protection of the sheep and the shepherds. The surrounding regions in the Negev was a harsh desert where wolves and jackals encircled the camp during the nighttime hours; following the scent of the sheep flock.
The water accommodations they discovered in southern Israel was minimal but a generator with two hours of electricity a day was also not enough water to sustain a flock of sheep.
Then just after arriving to the Land of Israel, after Sukkot, the showers of rain came down with abundance in a fierce rainstorm. The sheep shelters began to collapse. The sheep just arriving in a new land were still stressed from their journey from traveling half way around the world. Five of the sheep died including Solomon, the oldest of the rams.
The Mountainous Hills around Nes-Harim,
It was fortunate that the Lewinsky’s discovered Nes Harim (in English, miracle of the mountains), a Jewish community five miles west of Jerusalem. Despite the numerous battles they had to face, the couple expressed their confidence that this must be prophecy come true:
Jeremiah 50.6 – “My people hath been lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains; they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting-place.”
The tale of Jacob’s sheep has now come to its resting place. The Sheep traveled across the world from Western British Columbia in Canada to the State of Israel. The search for a new home has now been found. Genetic tests have shown that this breed is originally from the Middle East, and Rabbi Vakhnin told the Lewinsky’s that he knew these sheep were descended from Jacob’s original flock. Jacob’s sheep have returned and it is time for the blessing they bring to be revealed.
With those that have “eyes that can see” perceive on the spiritual planes that HaSHem, the One G-d of Israel is quietly setting in place the restructure and remodeling of Planet Earth. It is now time that the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel, Jews and Lost Tribers alike are on the spiritual plane as a new era of spiritual enlightenment continues to unfold right in front of our eyes.

So today, the 219 sheep, except the five who lost their lives in the Post Sukkot floods in 2016 (Jewish year 5777) will become the foundation stock the soon to be built Temple in Jerusalem. As the sheep prosper and are blessed, so according to the Rabbi, the land of Israel will be blessed and prosper.
With this in mind, we must comprehend, that a New 3rd Temple in Jerusalem will not be completed until the Jacob Sheep productivity of new baby sheep this spring and hereafter are ready for the Divine mandate of sacrifices as we enter the new Messianic Era of the Melekh HaMaschiach (King Messiah) and Jerusalem will become the Solar Rex capital of HaShem’s Planetary Capital in Jerusalem.
This it appears will happen before the long awaited “Messianic Era of King Messiah” is expected to begin during the transition that could begin as early as the beginning fall harvest festivals on Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot.
At that time, we will be in the preparation stage as the “Final Era of mankind” of our “3rd dimensional consciousness” ends and the “cosmic futuristic era of messianic enlightenment of 4th dimensional consciousness” as we begin our transformation to our original “Light Bodies” of “Edenic consciousness” as Adam and Eve were in that pristine Garden called Eden.
Can we begin to “open our eyes to see” and refuse to spiritually stay asleep? If your heart begins to palpitate, then you are beginning to perceive the august perspective that the reunification of the House of Judah and the Lost House of Israel is soon; very soon.
Every day from now towards the next High Holiday Season in the fall of 2017, we should keep our personal, visual and spiritual insight focused on the fact that when we hold our hands out in personal support with loving kindness to the Jewish people, we are hastening the coming and the inauguration of King Messiah (Melekh HaMaschiach) and the redemption of All Israel (Klal Yisrael).

At the time of the end the G-d of Israel will use all of His Chosen Ones of Israel to complete His divine destiny for Planet Earth. Most of these chosen ones will have no idea of their chosen destiny. They will become the prime actors in the final act of the “Drama of the Ages”.
