When we look about the geo-political landscape around the world, we must always look at the historical trends that are rewriting the geo-political landscape in our past. In the nation-building era of the past century, the global powers have still been using their immense power and influence to the reshape the global map and those nationalistic and now the forces of religious fundamentalism that are trying to enforce their political and now religious agenda upon the rest of the world. As economist Martin D. Weiss, Ph.D, recently wrote in Money and Markets:
Martin D. Weiss, Ph.D. – “If our leaders and allies still think they have the power to impose their brand of peace and freedom on the Middle East, they need to check into an insane asylum.
Here’s what the region looked like about five years ago when the war of Iraq and Afghanistan were still in full swing, the country was debating the withdrawal, and nearly all American citizens voted for the candidate they thought could do the best job of ending the conflicts.
Aside from mostly isolated and sporadic conflicts elsewhere, Iraq and Afghanistan were the only hot spots and Iran was the only major country where long-term stability could be questioned. The focus of the U.S. and its NATO allies was strictly those three countries. And their challenge was strictly to bring the troops home without leaving chaos in their wake.
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict was raging, as always, but in contract to the new wars elsewhere, the six-decades-old conflict was such a known quantity one would be hard pressed to argue that it was a significant destabilizing factor for the region.
Bottom line: Two, maybe three, conflicts to seriously worry about. Moderate impact on the major World Powers. No broad threat to the global economy. High hopes for future long-term stability.
Now fast-forward to the last day of August, 2013, and look how dramatically the picture has changed:
The word “instability” is fundamentally and execrably gone from the lexicon of any serious observer in the region; every country in the region is impacted – internally and externally…politically and socially… in terms of trade, the influx of refugees and the stirring of pre-existing conflicts.
Worse, several – Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Pakistan – are in various stages of becoming collapsed states, where the rule of law is virtually gone and chaos begins to reign.
Worst of all; the wars have come back and spread. Iraq’s “Arab Awakening”, years past largely responsible for the end of its civil war, is now buried and gone; and in its place, a new, even more virulent form of ethnic strife has returned. Meanwhile, jihadists have poured into Syria from all over the globe, also helping to rekindle the fires in Iraq.
But anyone who still thinks there’s a wall surrounding the region which can contain the conflict needs to check into the same institution as those who think they can fix it. Unlike the conflicts of five years ago, the major world powers have drawn a line in the sand – U.W. and its NATO allies vs. Russia and China.
Unlike any time in the past, the Economic consequences of the next phase of this regional – and possible global - war are boundless.” End of Quote
It was the prophets of Israel, especially Daniel the Prophet, who was permitted by the G-d of Israel to peer into the future and see this day, over 2,500 years ago. As Destination Yisrael wrote three years ago on August 18, 2010, in the blog titled, “The Archangel Gabriel: the Persian Ram’s demise will be at the Time of the End”, we read:
Destination Yisrael – “If you are a believer in the Jewish and Israeli prophets of old, Israel will not be the attacker of Iran. As the biblical portrayal of this event portrayed in Daniel 8, the G-d of Israel gave Daniel an apocalyptic vision of what would happen at the “end of days”.
As the Prophet Daniel was standing near the Persian palace at Shushan, next to the River Ulai, he saw as he was facing north, an apocalyptic ram with two great horns coming from the east going forth to conquer everyone in its path. Then he noticed another apocalyptic beast, with the appearance of a he-goat with a great horn. It was flying over the continents, as a conquering aerial power. And then the description of the battle comes into clear view.
Daniel 8:5-7 – “I was observing, and behold!
The he-goat comes from the west,
Across the surface of the whole earth, not touching the ground.
And the he-goat had a conspicuous horn between it eyes.
It came up to the horned ram I had seen standing before the river,
And ran at it with fury of its might.
I saw it (he-goat with the great horn) reach the ram. It fought bitterly with it,
and smote the ram and broke its two horns.
The ram lacked the strength to stand before it.
It threw it to the ground and trampled it,
and there was no one to rescue the ram from it.
(translated by Rabbi Hersh Goldwurm in “Daniel” published by Mesorah Publications)
Christian biblical scholars and Jewish sages have together interpreted these passages as the famed battle, near the town of Irbil, when Alexander the Great defeated the Persian forces of the Shah Darius II Nothus on October 31, 331 BCE, according to Roman Christian chronology and 317 BCE in the Jewish rabbinic calendar. The Prophet Daniel, who had witnessed many battles during his august tenure as the Prime Minister of both the empires of Babylon and Persia, was now in shock with what he was seeing. What he saw was of a magnitude more than any wars in which he had witnessed. So the angel of the L-rd that was sent to interpret those events in the future gave the terrified Jewish-Persian diplomat a calming reassurance.
Daniel 8:17 – “So he came to where I was standing,
And when he came I was terrified and fell face down,
He said to me, ‘Understand Ben Adam that the vision concerns the time of the End.’”
(translated by Rabbi Hersh Goldwurm in “Daniel” published by Mesorah Publications)
This was not the only clue, for later this extra-dimensional being also gave these clues;
Daniel 8:19 – “He said, ‘I am ready to inform you what will be after the “wrath” (holocaust),
For at the “appointed time” is “The End”.
(translated by Rabbi Hersh Goldwurm in “Daniel” published by Mesorah Publications)
As BibleSearchers Reflections ponders these sobering verses, we read its conclusion;
BibleSearchers Reflections – “Now as Daniel was awake, looking straight at him, eye to eye, Gabriel repeated with greater clarity what he told Daniel in the “deep sleep.” Repeating himself now with the fully conscious Daniel, he stated, “I am ready to inform you what will be after the wrath.” What wrath are we talking about? What great calamity will befall the Jewish people again at the time of the end? Whenever this day is, this vision was to be after that time. After this “wrath” or the “last end of the indignation,” an “appointed time” will occur and then the “end shall be”.

For many students of prophecy we are in “The Last Days.” This is true! But the “last days” or “last times” have been here for a long time – almost two thousand years. It was the Apostle Peter who wrote to the Orthodox Jewish Messianic Nazarene believers the fact that they were living in the “Last Days.”
1 Peter 1:17-21 – “And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things like silver and gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
He was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times (days) for you who through Him believe in G-d (One G-d of Israel), who raised him from the dead and gave Him glory so that your faith and hope are in G-d.”
The “Last Days” have been occurring here on this planet for almost two thousand years. The “Last Days” were here when Yahshua (Jesus) died and was resurrected. Yet, it would not be until the revival or the resuscitation of the State of Israel that the “Time of the End” would begin. Once the collective and national consciousness of the “chosen ones of Israel” was again part of the geo-political matrix of this earth, the time of the end could begin.
Out of the ashes of the crematoriums of Germany and Poland rose the Zionist State of Israel with all of its imperfections. Like the “Phoenix” that rose from the pyrrhic fires, the final reality of this current age, the “Last Days”, will be manifested with all of its consuming evil and its manifested goodness.
Since May 15, 1948, when the Jewish Irgun threw off the colonial yoke of the British and met the onslaught of Islamic fury against a coalition of five Moslem states as they planted the “seed” of national Israel back on this earth, the “Time of the End” has been with us.
Here the Hebrews “last end of the indignation” was completed in the Holocaust. The memory of six million Jewish deaths was seared upon the consciousness of all Jews and in the minds of all mankind. The “Time Appointed” of the G-d of Israel was now at hand as this earth careened towards “The End.”
Yet this would not be the “End of Time” for in the culmination of all things with the coming of the Messiah, time would continue to exist. The “Time of the End” would complete the end of this era when at the “appointed time the end shall be…
Yet this was not the only time a prophecy about the End of days was not revealed to its fullest revelation. As Jacob, the father of all the Israelites was on his death bed, he summoned all of his sons to gather around him and in prophecy tell them what the destiny of their descendants would be like.
Genesis 49:1 – “And Jacob called his sons and said to them, ‘Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days.’”
According to Rabbi Yitzchak Abarbanel in the Tractate Pesachim (Passover) 56a, even though Jacob wanted to reveal to them the future, he was prevented from doing so. Once again Jacob was only whetting their own inquisitive minds but in the end his vision that Jacob told his sons, he obscured the meaning.
The Jewish Sages agree that both Jacob and Daniel knew the final culmination of world events but they were divinely prevented from revealing them. (Bereishis Rabbah 98:2) Only as the fate of their people, the Jews, is unfolding before their eyes in the land of Israel today, the great rabbinic minds are once again able to become engaged with their prophetic destiny.
But that was not all, Gabriel finished with this closing summation;
Daniel 8:26 – “And the vision of the nightfall and the morning which was spoken is true.
As for you – obscure the vision for it is for a long time.” (Twenty four centuries later)
(translated by Rabbi Hersh Goldwurm in “Daniel” published by Mesorah Publications)
As the world enters the final month of the Jewish year 5770 (2010), before Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the world will watch with fear and great anticipation as its apocalyptic future looms before its eyes. The American Wall Street is on the verge of its second leg of economic woes into an economic depression, while the great drought in Russia and the horrific floods in China plus the monsoon floods, all across Pakistan and India confirm that the Fourth Apocalyptic Seal of Revelation portrayed as “Hell and Hades” with bring consuming famine over our Planet Earth with the devastation of biblical proportions.
Not only that, the Sanhedrin (94a) Rabbinic Prophecies concerning the last Seven Years before the coming of the Messiah portray in the third year after the beginning of the Sabbatical Week of Years (Rosh Hashanah 2008/2009 to Rosh Hashanah 2014/2015, meaning the “Third Year” of 2010 to 2011, we read;
Year Three of the Sabbatical Cycle (2011) –
“In the third year”, Rosh Hashanah 5771 (Thursday, September 9, 2010) to Rosh Hashanah 5772 (Thursday, September 29, 2011),
“The famine will be great, and men, women, children, pious people,
And men of good deeds will die; Torah will be forgotten by those who learned it.”
Using literal p’shat Hebrew interpretations of scripture yet allowing the apocalyptic imagery to unfold, we begin to witness what Daniel perceived, we are privileged to be witnessing in all its astounding prophetic implications. The late Pope John Paul II, as he was entering the 1st year of his papal reign in 1978, saw the same two world imperial forces that were vying for world domination that the Prophet Daniel saw 24 centuries prior.
The first contender was the western globalists called the economic internationalists and trans-nationalists of the European Union fronted by the aerial military power of the United States, whom he called the Golden Internationale that hearkened back to the days of the Roman Christian Crusaders in the 11th century CE. The second contenders for world domination were the eastern globalists called the Red Marxist-Leninist Communists totalitarian governments of Russia and China that also were vying for world domination whom he called the Red Internationale. This global confederation was as equally ancient to the beginnings of the Mongolian Empire of Russia, Persia, and China that began with Genghis Khan in the 12th century CE. This veteran spiritual globalist sitting in the Papal “Seat of St. Peter” also foresaw that the western globalists, the Golden Internationale would eventually conquer and gain world dominance over the eastern globalists called the Red Internationale
In a mini-drama of epic eschatological biblical history that the Archangel Gabriel said would come in the days after the “wrath” of the holocaust, called the “last end of the indignation,” we begin to see that when at the “appointed time” designated by the Sovereign power of the Almighty One, only then the “end shall be”.
The prophetic drama was truly highlighting a true prophetic biblical event in the future; the “he-goat” in Daniel 8 was represented by the royal economic banking giants of Europe controlled by the royal families of Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, along with the rising economic power of the Fourth Reich in the Nation of Germany. They are the modern representative of ancient Rome. These economic giants are today protected by the “great horn” power, the largest aerial military power in human history, called the United States of America, who is the largest and most powerful purveyor of Grecian democracy and cultural Grecian Hellenism of the modern era.
The “ram with two great horns” was represented by the communist totalitarian giants of Russia and China. As the “great horn” fronted the “he-goat” as Greece was the face of Rome, so also these globalist totalitarian socialist imperial giants of the Russian bear and the Chinese dragon power, are the power forces behind the “Persian ram” with “two great horns” controlled by the Shi’ite Islamic Ayatollah regime in Tehran seeking to establish a World Caliphate of Islam to be ruled by the Islamic Mahdi, who will rise out of the Pashtun Lost Tribes of bani-Israel in Afghanistan wearing two Israelite Qutwani Cloaks with tassels like the Jewish tzit-tzits.
Daniel 8:6-7 – “And the he-goat had a conspicuous horn between it eyes.
It came up to the horned ram I had seen standing before the river,
And ran at it with fury of its might.
I saw it (he-goat with the great horn) reach the ram. It fought bitterly with it,
And smote the ram and broke its two horns.
The ram lacked the strength to stand before it.
It threw it to the ground and trampled it,
and there was no one to rescue the ram from it.”
(translated by Rabbi Hersh Goldwurm in “Daniel” published by Mesorah Publications)
This is the prophetic fate of the Persian Iran, witnessed by the Prophet Daniel. Yet, the clues continue to pour forth from what may seem as an unusual reservoir of prophetic biblical understanding; the Torah sages of the House of Judah. This should not surprise us, for they are the guardians of the Torah observing prophets.”

The prophecies are clear that the G-d of Israel will fulfill what He has promised to fulfill so that peace can restored to all the earth. Part of that prophecy is the restoration of All Israel. This is not a conditional prophesy and neither is it a Jewish prophesy, but we will be restored back into brotherhood and fellowship with our brothers, the Jews of the House of Judah (Ezekiel 37). This Biblical portrayal includes Prophecies that the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel are about to return to the Land of their Biblical Inheritance.
This is Divine Destiny in living reality as the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel return to their Homelands first in Shomron (Samaria), Israel. If you want to learn more, Contact “Kol Ha Tor Vision” the Voice of the Turtledove. Here is a joint Orthodox Jewish and 10-Triber Vision to bring awareness of the imminent fulfillment of the Biblical Prophecies regarding the Redemption of all Israel (12 Tribes Re-conciled and Re-United). This super Event of all Times will entail Establishing the Shomron (the Ancient Bible Heartland of the Patriarchs) and the Judean Wilderness as part of the Land of Israel, and preparing the “Land” for the Return of the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel and then the Redemption of All Israel.
