Knesset
Interior Committee Chairperson Miri Regev with Likud-Beiteinu
Recently on September 28, 2013, on Simchat Torah, the Chairperson of the Israeli Knesset Interior Committee, Miri Regev made a surprise visit to the largest city in Israel, Tel Aviv, to inspect food service establishments and clubs. Many of them were seriously discriminating against Israeli soldiers in the Israeli Defense Forces that were defending Israel and Tel Aviv that was provoked by the left-wing policies of oppositional forces of many in the food and entertainment industry in Tel Aviv.
Understandable this has caused numerous complaints by the patriots and pioneers living in the regions of Shomron and Judea where the protection of the Jewish people there by the IDF is praised and lauded for their valor and bravery while administrating civil justice closely in regions where Islamic forces seeking the death of Jews are living nearby.
To the anger of most Israeli citizens, and the “ire” of many of the MKs (Members of the Knesset), discriminating against the Israeli military soldiers is outright illegal. Such is the mentality of the political leftist in Israel today.
Born in 1965 at Kirvat Gat, one of the five major cities of the ancient Philistines called Gath, at the age of 20, Miri Regev, joined the Israeli Gadna (Youth Battalions) in 1985. This military training group was created before the Declaration of Independence of Israel in 1948, and its soldiers actively participated in the 1948 Palestine War especially around the Jerusalem front guarding the future capital of Israel.
After becoming a platoon
commander in 1985, Regev began serving in the IDF in 1986. Serving for many years, by the year of 2002,
she became the IDF Spokesperson in the Israeli Southern Command, and
coordinator of the national public relation efforts for the Israeli Prime
Minister’s office before the Iraq War. In 2005, she became a Brigadier General as
served as the IDF Spokesperson for the IDF until she was discharged in 2007.
Hakafot Shninot Celebration in Tel-Aviv on the Eve of Simchat Torah
It was on the Friday, the celebrations of the 8th and last day of Succot called Simchat Torah, when the members of the synagogues all around Israel were dancing in the streets with their Torahs, MK Miri Regev toured the city of Tel Aviv in the clubs and other food and entertainment servicing places, with the deputy mayor of Tel Aviv and Likud city faction Chairman, Arnon Galadi, where they witnessed firsthand an IDF soldier that was refused entrance to a club after he was “screened” at the entrance. There she observed his humiliation and used her influence to he be allowed in as any other Israeli citizen or visitor in Tel Aviv.
Just the night before on the eve of Simchat Torah, thousands of Jewish people and visitors converged at Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square for the Hakafot Shniyot celebrations. It was organized by the collaboration of the municipality of Tel Aviv and the Tel Aviv Yeshiva (Torah academy) whose head is Rabbi Harim Gantz. Also at this event Mayor Ron Huldai and Chief Rabbi of Yisrael Meir Lau were also celebrating as they were joined by Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) MK Ayelet Shaked in the religious festivities. Secular, religious and Orthodox Jews all joined together at this time to “break down the barriers between the religious and secular Jew as they both celebrated their Jewishness given to “National Israel” by the G-d of Israel at the mount called Sinai with their traditional dancing with the Torah scrolls.

Kiryat Gat
MK Regev was incensed over what she observed that collaborated with the reports that her MK office had been receiving. As she spoke of this profound event that impacted her own consciousness:
Knesset Interior Committee Chairperson Miri Regev – “The phenomenon is ugly, degrading and humiliating to me and there is no reason for it.”
As she finished her tour, she vowed, according to the press releases that as a Likud-Beiteinu lawmaker she would diligently work for legislation to prevent discrimination based upon anyone’s service as a member of the Israeli Defense Force and would revoke the business licenses of entertainment places that violate the Israeli law. As she promised:
Knesset Interior Committee Chairperson Miri Regev – “As a supervisor on the matter of business licensing in my role as chairwoman of the Knesset Interior Committee, I intend to make sure the entertainment centers operate according to the law and will not strike down fun seekers. If they do, their licenses must be revoked.”
Miri Regev is the same Israeli MK who on April 18, 2013, recently just after her appointment to the Interior Committee, generated a national controversy by making the statement that she intended to tour the Temple Mount with the Interior Committee members so that the legality of have Jewish prayers upon the Temple Mount would be official Israeli law. As she stated:
Knesset Interior Committee Chairperson Miri Regev – “Jews can pray at the Temple Mount…I don’t understand why a Jew is not allowed to pray in the most sacred place for him; the Temple Mount. I intend to soon tour there, with an emphasis on freedom of Jewish prayer.”
As
we witness the humiliation of an Israeli soldier in his own country and the
righteous indignation of an Israel MK who promises to create laws protecting
the discrimination of Jewish warriors protecting the Land of Israel, we are
reminded of the G-d of Israel, who also is observing upon his throne and before
the Divine Court in heaven, when He centuries ago spoke through the pen of His
servant, the Prophet Zechariah:
Israeli Defense Force Soldier celebrating Simchat Torah
Zechariah 10:3-12 - “My anger is kindled against the shepherds (Jewish National leaders) and I will punish the he-goats (leaders of the Jewish communities or the secular Jews seeking to lead Orthodox Jews astray and neither to defend them). For HaShem, Master of Legions, has remembered his flock, the House of Judah, and He will make them like a horse whose glory is in war.
From themselves the cornerstone; from themselves the peg; from themselves the bow of war; from themselves all the leaders will come forth together. They will be like warriors trampling [their enemies] in the mud of the streets in war; they will wage war, for HaShem will be with them; and the [enemy] riders of horses (tanks and military land invaders) will be put to shame.
I will give power to the House of Judah and I will save the house of Joseph (Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel); I will settle them [Lost Ten Tribes] for I will have mercy upon them and they will be as if I had not rejected them; for I am HaShem their G-d, and I will answer them.
Ephraim (leader of the House of Joseph] will be like a mighty warrior, and their heart will be glad as [with] wine. Their children will see and be glad; their heart will rejoice in HaShem. I will whistle to them and gather them, for I have redeemed them; and they will become as numerous as they had been in faraway places (America, Northern Europe, India, South Africa, Australia); so they will live, with their children , and they will return.
I will bring them back from the land of Egypt; I will gather them in from Assyria; I will bring them to the land of Gilead [Syria and Jordan] and Lebanon; there will not be enough [room] for them. Misfortune will pass through the sea [Great Tsunami], and [G-d ] will strike the waves in the sea; all the deep waters of the river will [Rivers Nile or the Euphrates] dry up; the pride of Assyria (Basher Assad’s Syria] will be brought down, and the staff [breadbasket of the Nile] of Egypt will depart. I will give [Israel] power through HaShem, and they will walk with His Name – the word of HaShem.”
It’s time to give praise and credit to the Israeli military in the Israeli Defense Force, for they are today HaShem’s warriors and through them, plus the warriors of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel who will be returning home to join hands with their tribal brothers, the Jews of the House of Israel, the final wars against anti-Semitism will be fought.

It is the Master of the Universe who created the laws of nature and set the orbits of the planets in their course around the sun. It is also He who guided the affairs of the nations. Every king or ruler on Planet Earth is there at His behest for it is the purpose of G-d to bring this world back into a full covenant relationship with Him.
In spite of the sins of Adam and Eve, and the effect it had upon the “Image of G-d” in which He created each of us to be. He gave one family a covenant of a relationship with Himself, and at the end of days, that covenant will be fulfilled to each of us who choose to be a part of the full redemption of the House of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. As this universe and solar system was created for mankind, and even though Eden was lost in that epochal day of the past, the G-d of Israel promised that Eden would be restored. Eden Lost à Eden Restored.
Each of the prophets was a mini-window into the unknown future, but collectively they painted a broad stroked tapestry of the end of the era of man and the beginning of the era of the Messiah. As the world is coming full circle to the center of the Galactic Universe, the era of man has come full circle from the point of creation in the Garden of Eden to the new alignment of a new creation in the restored Gan Eden. When the New Gen Eden is revealed so will the New Jerusalem also be revealed. So today, the G-d if whistling you to come back to the brotherhood of Klal Yisra’el (All Israel).
