As the Palestinian State Peace accord negotiations were
launched into a nine month marathon trying to carve out a Palestinian State in
the “mountains of Israel” the legal patriots of Israel submitted a “mammoth jurists'
petition” to the European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton stating
that the European Union and her partisans are legally wrong in the continued
international threat stating that the Jewish towns and communities in Shomron
(Samaria) and Judea are legal for one reason only. The “1967 lines” do not
exist in international law. This letter
was signed by over 1,000 jurists around the world.
The signatories include the following: the former justice
minister Prof. Yaakov Ne'eman; former UN Ambassaor Dr. Meir Rosen; Britain's
Baroness Prof. Ruth Deech, Prof. Eliav Shochetman and Prof. Talia Einhorn.
They also include legal jurists and scholars from 24 nations
of the world; United States, Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada,
Chile, Czechoslovakia, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Malta, Netherlands,
Norway, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan
and, of course, Israel.
The spark that united this international initiative was Dr.
Alan Baker, the former ambassador of Israel to Canada and now the legal advisor
to the Israeli Foreign Ministry. Currently Alan Baker heads the International
Action Division of the Legal Forum for Israel.
Earlier in 2012, it was Alan Baker who was a member of a
three-person committee called the Levy Committee that was headed by the former
Supreme Court Judge Edmond Levy. It was their legal opinion that Judea and
Samaria were not “occupied territories”.
As Ambassador Alan Baker stated:

“There is no such thing as the 1967 lines… There never was such a thing. The
matter of the borders is on the agenda of the negotiations, The EU cannot
dictate a subject that is on the agenda of the negotiations.
The pre-1967 lines are (1949)
armistice lines. These are not recognized lines or security lines. In the Oslo
process, it was agreed between us and the Palestinians that the matter of
borders will be negotiated. The term ‘1967 lines’ does not appear anywhere in
our agreement with the Palestinians, therefore it is a legal and factual
aberration to determine that these are our lines.”
Unknown to the international community was the that the
legal clause in the Geneva Convention had nothing to do with human settlements
especially with the State of Israel, it had to do with the Nazi forced transfer
of populations during World War II. As Alan Baker explained:
Former Ambassador Alan Baker – “The
second thing is the determination that the settlements are illegal according to
international law. It is true that most of the world thinks so, but that does
not make it true legally. Legally, the clause in the Geneva Convention that
they use to say that settlements are illegal was not intended to refer to cases
like our settlements, but to prevent the forced transfer of populations by the
Nazis. This is not relevant to the Israeli settlements.”
So now we can see the great divisions, where the Roman
Catholic control of the European Union is now seeking to cross the great divide
and take control of the State of Israel. As the spiritual enlightenment of the
Jews in the land of Israel began to rise with the election of the new Netanyahu
government in January 2013, we saw also a major shift in the political opinions
of the Jewish people to the right.
It was the Jewish Home leader, Naftali Bennett who
criticized the Netanyahu government during the Spring election campaign that
their building announcements were not back up by the equivalent amount of
construction on the ground. As Bennet stated:
Naftali Bennet – “Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital for 3,000 years, so I
don't know why we have to talk about building in Jerusalem. One of our tasks in
the next government is ensuring that these words are turned into action,
because in all of these areas nothing has been built to date.”
During the same campaign week, the Israeli
planning committees gave final planning approval towards Jerusalem building
projects that stated that 4,000 new housing units would be built. One of them,
called Givat Hamatos was to be the first new Israeli neighborhood in East
Jerusalem in more than a decade. It appeared that the numbers of housing units
were not as important as where they would be built would block the
international effort to divide the city of Jerusalem into Jewish and Arab
sections in order to serve as capitals for a dual Palestinian and an Israeli
state.
It was the European Union Foreign Affairs chief,
Catherine Ashton, who blew up over this announcement just as the American State
Department called the Israeli building plans “a pattern of provocative
action" that puts peace "further at risk”, when this Lost Israelite cried out!”
Catherine Ashton – “"I
strongly oppose this unprecedented expansion of settlements around Jerusalem.”
The question no one seems to answer, “Whose
peace are we talking about?” Is it American peace or European peace that we are
talking about? Are the Israeli people
going to get any peace, or will they be pushed out again like Gush Katif in the
Gaza Strip in 2005, to live in shelters for years and when a peace accord is
signed. Will they be willing to lose the privilege to live in the land that
their Jewish forefathers once lived and allow their biblical tribal homeland
roots be given to Arab settlers who will then be made Judenrein (Jewish-free)?
Will they, without a civil war, allow this whole region be uprooted in a genocidal
effort by the Palestinian people to destroy any memory, ancient or modern of
the Jewish people?
The rise of the Jewish people in mass are beginning to declare
that it was time to claim sovereignty over their homeland and they have done
this by voting with their feet to visit the region of Shomron and Judea with
their affirmation that “This Land if my Land.” This has been part of a major
demographic support of the Jewish patriots who have been building homes and
towns in the Jewish communities in Shomron and Judea, the same lands that the
Palestinian government claims belongs to them. Also this major shift of tourism
to the regions of Shomron and Judea to visit and see the biblical homeland of
the Jewish people and the ancestors of the whole House of Israel including the
Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel is also increasing their enlightenment
of what they may lose if the Netanyahu government caves into the international
clamor to “drive out the Jews. The response of the Jewish people has been remarkable
and enlightening.
What is even more amazing will be the future revelation that
the American and European international clamor against the Jewish biblical
settlements has been coming from the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel
living in Europe and America. They (Lost Tribes) are the ones who are still
lost to their own biblical and tribal identity.
When the G-d of Israel begins His wooing to His ancient
people who so much wanted to rebel against the G-d of Israel, if the Lost Ten
Tribes do not respond in repentance willingly, He will then give them a “harsh
king” or “global catastrophes” that will “drive them from the lands of their
dwellings.” Now, they will want to “come
home to the lands of their forefathers.”
When interviewed by The Jewish
Press, Alan Baker was asked the following question:
The Jewish Press – “As one of three
appointees to the Levy Committee, you concluded in the Levy Report that
Israel’s presence in the West Bank is not occupation and that the Israeli
settlements are legal under international law. Can you explain how you arrived
at that conclusion?
Ambassador Alan Baker
– “This was nothing new. This has always been Israel’s position, from the day
after the entry into the West Bank. Meir Shamgar, who became chief justice and
then military advocate general, wrote in 1967-68 that this cannot be considered
occupation because we haven’t occupied it from a sovereign country. Jordan was
there illegally.”
The reality is, the Jews were there first, but today the
stakes are being set. Nations are taking sides. As the prophetic picture
continues to unfold, the “nations of the world” will come against Jerusalem and
then it will be all over for the battle of GogUMogog will leave their remains
on the battlefield, and the power of HaShem, the G-d of Israel will become
supreme throughout all the world. So
also, today also the stakes are being set in the hearts and minds of the Lost
10 Tribes of the House of Israel, and also in the minds of their brothers the
Jews living in the Land of Israel and all around the diaspora.

A reign of “Peace” and “Delusions” has now
consumed the Middle East. Truly the whole world was watching to see what would
happen as the Israeli and the Palestinian negotiation teams met for the first time
after a three year hiatus, this time in Washington, D.C on July 29, 2013. According
to State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki, we heard something that had a
strange ring of the ancient Nazarenes, whose apocalyptic vision of the future
came straight out of the Jewish Orthodoxy culture of the 1st century
Temple of Herod era when rabbinic schools of Beit Shammai and Beit Hillel were
involved in their great debates on halakhah and the prophetic future of
Judaism.
I Thessalonians 5:1-3 –
“But you have no need to have anything written to you, brothers, about the
times and dates when this will happen; because you yourselves well know that
the Day of the L-rd will come like a thief in the night. When people are
saying, “Everything is so peaceful and secure,” then destruction will
suddenly come upon them the way labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and
there is no way they will escape.”

Jen Psaki said concerning the new “Peace Conference” between that began on July
30, 2013 in Washington D.C:

to a timetable… It is not a deadline, but an agreement that they will work
together for at least this period.”
At the informal dinner at the American State
Department, Secretary of State John Kerry, a Shabbatean Czechoslovakian Jew
who called himself an Irish Catholic over a Muslim Iftar meal when at the end of
Ramadan, the Muslims sit down for the festive meal called the “Festival of the
Breaking of the Fast.” The Eid al-Fitr
celebrates the end of the month-long fasting on Ramadan. Here in the State Department Jefferson room
in Washington D.C. this breaking of the fast heralded the ceremonial launch of
the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.
Was it an auspicious moment in earth’s
history, marking the end of Ramadan, when Jewish and Islamic negotiators began
again the long sought out diplomatic path to “peace in the Middle East”? Would it bring an era of “Peace” or only an
era of “Peace with Great Security?” It appeared that the Israeli Justice Minister
Tzipt was in a “good” mood as she finished this evening for she proclaimed that
both sides were “serious” this time about the coming up talks in the future.
Then Jen Psaki made another strange and ominous appearing statement for those
with “eyes that can see” of “clues” towards the time of the end, when she
stated:

is the beginning of “final-status” arrangements on a “nine-month timetable.”
So let us remember the words with greater
clarity; “Final-Status” and a “Nine-Month Timetable” so we can be
reminded of what “code words” are we speaking about? We did not have to wait
long, for simultaneous to the opening of these talks on Monday, July 29, a
sermon was delivered on the official Palestinian Authority TV channel by Palestinian Authority
Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash. This sermon was given in
the presence of the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas. It was translated into English for us by the Palestinian Media Watch.
Al-Habbash compared the current American lead
peace negotiations to the Hudaybiyyah Peace Treaty, a
10-year peace treaty that was sealed between Islam’s prophet Mohammed and the
Quraish tribe at Mecca (pronounced Koresh). This was when the Muslim clans in
Mecca opposing the rise of the power of Mohammed drove Mohammed from Mecca to
Yathrib, now called Medina.
Numerous battles raged over the Arabian deserts
between the Muslim clans who were known as the Banu Ishmael, or the children of
Ishmael. It was not until the Battle of Badr,
when the tribe of Quraysh was defeated. This turning point brought a new era
for the Muslims, an era that affects the entire world today when the forces
loyal to Mohammed gained control of the entire region. For those genealogist
buffs, here are the lineages of the “Early Muslim
Leaders of the lineage of the Quraysh tribe”, into which the
Prophet Mohammed was born as a clan member of the Banu Hashimclan of the

Arising
from the ashes of the Muslims tribal conflicts, after the introduction of the
primal tenants of Islam, the Tribe of Quraysh gained ascendency and produced the
three major dynasties of the Ummayad Caliphate, the Abbasid Caliphate and
the Fatimid Caliphate. The split between the Shi'a and Sunni branches of Islam
centers over the succession to

successor.
Comprehending
the strategic role of the Hudaybiyyah 10-year Peace
Treaty of how it gave the Prophet Mohammad, according to Mahmoud Al-Habbash the necessary time
to gain strategic political and military strength before Mohammad’s Islamic
Jihad gained control over the enter Arabian Peninsula has profound implications
today. This is why Mahmoud Al-Habbash made the
proclamation that the “Peace talks with Israel were on “the right path”.
Mahmoud Abbas and Mahmoud Al-Habbash today are now following the blueprint for conquest set
out exactly like the Prophet Mohammed did in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.
As Al- Al-Habbash stated in a byline,
the Palestinian achievements “never would have happened though Hamas’ impulsive
adventure” when like many of Mohammed’s companions who burned with anger that
their leader was negotiating with the Quraish tribe rather than attacking
Mecca. In the eyes and the mind of Mohammad,
a “more measured approach would lead them to victory”.
Two years
after signing the treaty with the Quraish tribe, Mohammed’s jihad lashed out
with a brutal conquest of Mecca. Soon the Kabbah, Mecca and Medina were all in
the hands of the Islamic prophet. As Mahmoud Al-Habbash opined:

this is the Model.”
Within 48 hours, the
Israeli media were alerted to the facts that the mental vision of Palestinian
leader Mahmoud Abbas were much different than the “starry filled eyes” of the
western international press when Mahmoud Abbas declared as he was meeting with interim
Egyptian President Adly Mansour, that the Palestinian State in which he was
dreaming of as an independent state was one ethnically cleansed of Jewish
people.
Palestinian
leader Mahmoud Abbas – “In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of
a single Israeli — civilian or soldier — on our lands.”
It was the Palestinian
leadership who first launched the demands that the State of Israel would open
up the borders of Israel so that thousands of Palestinian laborers could work
freely in the land of Israel. This was followed up by the demand that Israel
would open up its gates to the settlements so that “Palestinian refugees” could
plant their homes among the Jewish people. At the same time, the creation of a Palestinian
State would be Judenrein, that is cleansed by genocide of the Jewish people. So
these “leopards” have not and never will “change their spots.”
It was in the year of 2011
that the Tablet Magazine interviewed the Palestinian Ambassador to the United
States, Maen Rashid Areikat. Areikat stated with great clarity that no Jew
would be allowed to reside and live nor work in the State of Palestine.

Rashid Areikat – “Any Jew who is inside the borders of Palestine will have to
leave!”
If we fail to comprehend
how the Palestinian Authority intends to enforce such a stark vision of the
future, we must only remind ourselves that under the rule of Mahmoud Abbas:
The “West Bank” continues
to enforce the Death Penalty against any Arab who dares to sell land to the
Israeli Jews. This was enforced in living reality when in 2012;
Hebron resident Mohammed
Abu Shahala was reportedly tortured and sentenced to death by the courts of the
Palestinian Authority for brokering the sale of a local apartment to a Jewish
family. Then earlier in 2010;
A Palestinian court
submitted judgment of an appeal by the public prosecutor Ahmed al-Mughani that
was ruled in its favor that any Arab found guilty of selling land to any Jew
would automatically receive the death penalty. According to al-Mughani’s reasoning,
the current law was too lenient and unenforceable at that time.
So today, are we again
seeing the beginnings of a “Final Solution” now called the “Final Status Arrangements” which spells
out again another holocaust for the Jewish people, this time living in the State
of Israel? It was in the year of 1943 that the Nazi Reichsfuhrer-SS, Heinrich
Himmler who was also the head of the German Nazi Gestapo, the Waffen-SS, and
the Minister of the Interior (1943-1945) who organized and implemented the genocide
and the mass murder of the Jewish people in Europe. As documented in 2002

order that the resettlement of
the entire Jewish population of the Government-General be carried out and completed by December 31, 1942. From December 31, 1942, no persons of Jewish origin may remain within the Government-General, unless they are in collection camps in Warsaw, Cracow, Czestochowa, Radom, and Lublin. All
other work on which Jewish labor

that date, or, in the event that
this is not possible, it must be transferred
to one of the collection camps.
These
measures are required with a view to
the necessary ethnic division of races
and peoples for the “New Order in
Europe”, and also in the
interests of the security and
cleanliness of the German Reich
and its sphere of interest. Every breach of this regulation spells a danger to quiet and order in the entire German sphere of interest, a point of application for the resistance movement and a source of moral and physical pestilence.
For all
these reasons a total cleansing
is necessary and therefore
to be carried out. Cases in
which the date set cannot be observed
will be reported to me in time,
so that I can see to corrective action
at an early date. All requests
by other offices for changes or permits for exceptions to be made must be
presented to me personally. Heil
Hilter! H. Himmler.”
According to the official records of
the Jews, the official
date for the beginning of the
Jewish Holocaust was the 9th
of Av, July 23, 1942. On this day in Germany, the first
trainload of sixty closed cars with Jewish “deportees” was loaded
in the Warsaw Ghetto, left Malkinia, and
arrived at the Treblinka Concentration Camp. The Jewish people were quickly ushered to their death into the gas
chambers.
Out of six death camps, Treblinka was unique as it was designed to be a “factory of death”. Built by German industrialists, and financed by money funneled by American banking interests, it quickly became known for its efficiency in the mass murdering of Jews. It took only about 20 SS German or Austrian
police with about 80 Ukrainian
guards to gas to death over
800,000 Jews in over 14 months,
mainly Jews from Warsaw, Poland.
Six months
earlier, on January 20,
1942, the Wannsee Conference was
convened in suburbia Berlin with the senior German officials who were
to be responsible to coordinate
the systematic extermination of the
Jews. At this time the “Final
Solution to the Jewish Problem” was formally announced.
Genocide has been a sad part of the history of
mankind, yet the Holocaust was
unique. It was premeditated,
coordinated, and intentionally
implemented with the goal of one
“final solution”; the systematic
slaughter of every Jew in Europe, eleven million by Nazi estimates, that
were to include even the Jews
living in England and in Ireland.
This was also the first time a
biological reason was given
to destroy the Jews.
One year
earlier, on July 31,
1941, the 8th of Av,
Hermann Goring signed the document
to implement the “final solution of
the Jewish problem”. This
was not the first time that the German Nazis had killed Jews.
They were systematically sent
before the Einsltzgruppen firing squads, which had executed over a million Jews before
the “final solution” was implemented.
Let us imprint these three dates;
The Final
Solution was decreed by Heinrich Himmler on the 8th of Av, one
day before Tisha B'Av 1941.
The Final
Solution first day to implement as decreed by Heinrich Himmler on the 9th of Av, called Tisha B'Av 1941, the very day that the Temples of Solomon and Herod were destroyed.
The Orders were
signed to Complete the Final Solution by Heinrich Himmler on the 5th of Av, four days before Tisha B'Av 1942.
The cattle cars
left from Warsaw, the largest
ghetto with 400,000 Jews,
on the 9th of Av,
called Tisha B'Av 1942.”
If the carefully crafted words to be used for
the international press concerning the current Peace Conference between Israel
and the Palestinian leaders residing in what is called the “West Bank”, the use
of the terms “Final Status” might carry also a similar connotation for
the Palestinians under the Mufti of Jerusalem
were the greatest propagandists for the Hitler’s German Nazi Regime during World War II. It was the Palestinians who also sought diligently
to begin the “Final Solution” in the land of Israel, called Roman Palestine, before the creation of the
State of Israel in 1948.
Yet, the G-d of Israel had now left behind a
“blueprint” for the Jewish people to become aware of what the international world
would seek again to do at the time of the end, this time to them during the
last 7 years before the revealing of the messiah.

Czechoslovakia promoted the idea in 1919 with U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, the idea of a Jewish Homeland in the region called Palestine. The world leaders who became the architects of the 1919
Treaty of Versailles all agreed that
the Jewish should be allowed to settle in the land known as the British Colonial Palestine. The rest of the land from Iraq to Yemen would go to the
rest of the Arabian people. Yet,
it was the British in 1921
that created the Hashemite
Kingdom of Transjordan as a Palestine State for the Arabs. It was suppose to leave room
for a Jewish state that never
was allowed to become a
political reality.
Of the land envisioned by Czechoslovakia Foreign Minister Edvard Beneš (1918-1935) of
Czechoslovakia with President
Woodrow Wilson of American in 1919 to be a Homeland for the Jewish people, only 10% was eventually given to the
Jews to be their new State of
Israel.
The failure of the world leaders to create a viable Jewish state led eventually to the Holocaust under
Hitler Germany with the Jewish
people having no homeland to escape or flee. This failure was the
prime responsibility of the British that controlled the area as the British
Mandate. Millions of Jews perished because of the British refusal to allow them to immigrate to Palestine Israel. As

1938; a Model for the Palestinian Homeland in the Annapolis Accord in 2008.
Of the land envisioned by Czechoslovakia Foreign Minister
Edvard Beneš (1918-1935) of Czechoslovakia with President Woodrow Wilson of American in 1919, only 10% was eventually given to the
Jews to be their homeland.
Where did this resistance come from? The British had no motive to
form a new nation of Israel, for the Monarchy
of British, believes that they are the living
and visible throne of Israel today.
Were they not the genetic royal lineage that was preserved from the House of David from the remnant that fled to Egypt with Jeremiah the Prophet? Here Tamar Tephi, the last princess of Israel, married a Scythian prince and
became the first Queen of the House of Ireland, the ancestors to the British Royal Family.
This land of Israel did not come into reality
until 1947 when Menachem Begin, the “young lions of Judah” drove out the
old Lions, the British out of Colonial Palestine in the War of Liberation. Yet when the UN resolution 181
of 1947 was formulated, which called for the partitioning of Palestine into two states, one Jewish and
one Arab, this land was part of British Colonial Palestine which included Judea and Samaria. It was the “young lions of
Judah” who liberated their Land
from the evacuating British.
Before the British withdrew, the
Jewish people were forcibly evacuated from Judea and Samaria so that Jordan [Hashemite (G-d’s??)
Kingdom of Jordan] could accept national
control over the area.
By that time the Jews were
heading to their new homeland (1948), the now President Edvard Beneš’ country of Czechoslovakia has been swallowed up by Nazi Germany, the Jewish population when the Czech people were sold out by the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain at the Munich Agreement with Adolf Hitler in 1938 that toppled the government of one brave foreign leader that had a vision for a homeland for the Jews. How could this have
happened?
It was on March 28, 1938 that the Konrad Henlein of the Czech
Sudeten-German party (SdP) and an undercover agent of Adolf Hitler demanded from the Edvard Beneš government that the central part of Czechoslovakia be ceded to the Germany government of Adolf Hitler. This plan may seen strange and preposterous that a foreign power could take control of the central highlands of a different and separate country in what was called the Carlsbad Decree. Named after a small town in the hinterland of the Czech Republic, this spa city at the
junction of the Ohře and Teplá
rivers was founded in 1370 was famed for its 13 hot springs, 300 smaller springs and the warm water Teplá river.
A majority of the population of the Sudetenland in central Czechoslovakia were German when it was ceded to Nazi Germany in 1938. This was a strategic ploy on the part of Hitler because Germany and
Czechoslovakia was protected from Germany by a mountainous chain in which the Germany Panzers would have difficulty invading this fiercely independent country. So Hitler used the German minority in Sudeten to exploit in his pretext to eventually conquer Czechoslovakia and then Central Europe.
When the Edvard Beneš government was faced with the cessation of the interior part of their country, he suddenly found himself also isolated from the rest of the European community. The Carlsbad Decrees on April 24, 1938 demanded autonomy for the German’s in Sudetenland to give them the freedom
to profess the rising Nazi ideology that was sweeping the German nationals.
In the meantime, France and Great Britain were in an isolationist and pacifist mood, not wanting war and not wishing to confront the evil of Nazi
anti-Semitism face to face. France backed out geo-politically and gave her foreign policy decision role to Britain. The British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain (1937-1940) became the prime spokesman for Western Europe.
Chamberlain’s foreign policy and international relations was centered by the ideology of appeasement. Thinking that giving German access to the Sudetenland that Germany would become satisfied in her lust for regional or world domination that she would not seek any more European territorial concessions, Chamberlain agreed to the Munich Agreement in which Germany, France, Britain, and Italy signed with Hitler
permitting the German annexation of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia.
A true understanding of the next few weeks in Czechoslovakia in the fall of 1938 can give a BibleSearcher the prophetic insight into what has now become the model for
independence of the Palestinian people and the declaration of a Palestinian State in the midst of the Nation of Israel.
This is not a coincidence. This is actually a replay of a
chain of events played out before World War II between the Nazi Germany
and the Western European powers that imposed international agreements upon another autonomous state that they had no international right to do. Yet the government of the militarily strong country of Czechoslovakian
collapsed on September 30, 1938 when President Edvard Beneš waited for her western allied to come to her aid. They remained silent and the citizens of Czechoslovakia took up her defense too late.
So today the Nation of Israel has now been caught between a rock and annihilation as the Barak-Sharon-Olmert governments have linked their national destiny with the American Clinton-Bush White House, both of which are well know supporters of a future world unified global government. This time, biblical prophecy has given us the Roadmap of the Divine. The Nation of Israel will become as corrupt as Sodom and Gomorrah as she follows the Roadmap of the Quartet in their appeasement to radical Islam. Only a “remnant” will remain true to the G-d of
Israel, but this remnant will become like a firebrand for the coming messiah of Israel. This is the story
of the prophets of ancient Israel and Judah. Let us first see
what happened to Czechoslovakia.
President Beneš obviously resisted. Was he not the only world leader where the L-rd of hosts implanted a novel idea; the Jewish people that were scattered to the nations around the world would need their
own national homeland before the prophecies given to the prophets of Israel could be fulfilled. The time had come. The Jewish
people and her weak-minded and fearful rabbinic and political leadership had resisted the idea of a national homeland.
As difficult as it is to conceive of such a fate, it took the Holocaust in Central Europe and the pogroms in Russia to convince the Jews of Europe (Sephardic) and Russia (Ashkenazi) that whatever their religious convictions, the Jewish people, the last nationalistic people not to have their
own homeland, must now begin to dream about the prayer that had been on their lips for almost
two millenniums, “Someday in Jerusalem.”
By May 20, 1938, the Nation of Czechoslovakia partially mobilized their military with the international
rumors that the German troops were on the move. Unknowns to them, Hitler had signed a secret “directive of war” that no later than October 1, 1938, Germany would declare war against Czechoslovakia. In the meantime, the Britain demanded that the Czech government request international mediation,
not unlike the presidential administration in America today. To this international pressure President Beneš reluctantly conceded.
The British Lord Runsiman was appointed as mediator and instructed that the government of the Czech people be forced to accept a settlement with the German residents in
Sudeten. On September 2, 1938, Beneš accepted most of the Carlsbad Decree in his “Fourth Plan.” But the German
revolted and went to the streets in violent protest. Demonstrations
erupted in the town of Ostrava on September 7. The negotiations fell apart on September 15. The rising revolt demanded the return of the entire Sudetenland to the Nation of Germany.
In the meantime, Hitler and Chamberlain were meeting in secret at Adolf Hitler’s Villa retreat called the “Eagle’s Nest” along with houses for Hitler’s secretary, Martin Bormann and Luftwaffe chief Hermann Goering sitting over an intricate bunker network to protect the
Nazi leaders in the Bavarian Alps at Berchtesgaden. Here the Fuhrer demanded in the name of the Third Reich that the Sudetenland be turned immediately over to Germany because the Czech government was “slaughtering” the German people. If not, the western world would be facing a regional war and possibly a global war.
The British and the French gave the government of Czechoslovakia
an ultimatum, give up Sudetenland or face the withdrawal of any western alliance or assistance. On September 21, 1938, the government of Beneš capitulated to western pressure and the Czech nationals now went into revolt. They demanded that their government protect
them.
Immediately
Hitler made new demands; the minority claims of the Polish and the Hungarians would have
to also be settled. A new “acting” government under the appointed new Prime Minister
General Jan Syrový made some generalized mobilization of forces. A military of the Czech’s was modern and an envy of many of the European countries.
They had a country with
natural protection of mountains and frontier fortifications that
were in excellent condition for the defense of the country. Even the Soviet Union proclaimed its willingness to come to their assistance. Yet President Beneš refused to
act without the western support and assistance.
On September 28, 1938, Chamberlain appealed to Hitler, so the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler met with the chief representatives of France, Italy and Great Britain in Munich, Germany. Top secret negotiations without the knowledge or consultation of the Czech government were conducted that led to the signing of the Munich Agreement on September 29, 1938.
The Czechoslovak government capitulated and agreed to abide by the Munich Agreement on September 30. The Munich Agreement stipulated that Czechoslovakia must cede
Sudeten territory to Germany. German occupation of the Sudetenland would be completed by October 10, the day for the independence for the Czech Republic was over.
President Beneš had been politically and military surrounded by his friends and foes. The Nation of Czechoslovakia had to cede the Sudeten territory to
Germany without even a fight. It was to be completed by October 10 under an international commission represented
by Germany, the
United Kingdom, France, Italy and now Czechoslovakia that would determine the final borders according
to the plebiscite. The British and the French promised to protect and give international guarantee that the new borders would be
protected from “unprovoked” aggression. Germany and Italy refused to join in any guarantee until the Polish and the Hungarian minority complaints were
resolved. On October 2, 1938, the
Czech territories were given to Hungary by Germany and Italy at Vienna and
by November 1, 1938, the Polish annexed Czech territory to the Nation of Poland.
On October
5, 1938, President Beneš
resigned and fled into exile
at Putney, London. Later his family lived out the war living
in The Abbey at Aston Abbotts in Buckinghamshire. There he organized the Provisional Government-in-Exile where General Jan Šrámek lived
nearby as his Prime Minister.
With the main military fortifications in the country built in the Sudeten
region and now taken over
by the German Nazi army, the remainder of the Czech Republic remained
defenseless. Within six
month, the pro-German Slovak
fascists, provoked by Hitler,
began to demand the Slovak independence.
This “independence” actually
became a puppet state dependent
upon the protection of the Third German Reich after Hitler invaded the provinces of Moravia and
Bohemia. Without any
resistance, the once Nation of
Czechoslovakia became a German
Protectorate under the appointed
Reich Protector, Konstantin von Neurath.
The Jewish
people living in Czechoslovakia numbered about 350,000 out of a total
population of 15.3 million Czechs. About a third of the Jewish people lived in Bohemia and Moravia, in the
land that was left after the appropriations
by the German Sudetenland plus the lands given to Hungry and Poland. Within seven months the new Reich Protector, Konstantin von Neurath
began a series of anti-Semitic decrees
paralleling those issued earlier
in Germany. Soon the economic
stability of the Jewish citizens
was gone and soon all of their property
was confiscated.
By October
1939, the first of the
deportations of Jews were sent to the Polish concentration camps had begun. Three years later 75% of the Jewish population in Czechoslovakia had been killed in the fiery furnaces at Auschwitz.
When the war was over, the total
Jewish casualties during the Holocaust of World War II were calculated, out of 5,754,000 Jewish deaths, 277,000 were from Czechoslovakia.
The Germans were expelled in 1945 when the Czech government gained
control of its lands after World
War II with President Edvard
Beneš returning to the new Czech
government in 1946. He resigned when the Communists forced him to
sign a Communist constitution in
1948 and his country remained
under the control of the
communist United Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR).
Close your
eyes and
now think about the events that
are swirling around the world today.
Reconsider the plight of the Jews
and then consider their fate
that their Islamic neighbors publicly
demand for the Jewish people
to the international media.
The influence of Hitler with the
Islamic radicals has been profound. This history with the rise of the Hamas, the Palestinian
Muslim Brotherhood and the Mufti
of Jerusalem was documented

Are
the nations of the world any more astute
today than they were with the rise of Hitler’s Third German Reich? The jury is
out, but we are probably today just as clueless. When radical
Islam today proclaims, “Death to America” does that ring any bells in the annals of history? The fact that they look to America as the “Great Satan” and Israel as the “Little Satan” suggests the importance of destroying the influence of the American “Eagle” on the geo-political stage of history.
Yet, did the G-d of Israel give us the lesson of “Hitler and Czechoslovakia” as a mini-drama to give us an idea of what would be recreated
again for the Jewish Nation of Israel? Is it not a coincidence that the one national leadership who foresaw in the “Age of Nationalism” became the only nation on the international landscape not to have a national home. These were the Jewish people who publicly pronounced the need for the national homeland to the international community. Did Beneš
proclamation of support for the Jewish people also spell the fate for the independence
of his own people?
The
outcome was the death of 6,000,000 Jews but the goal of Adolf Hitler, as
calculated by the German Nazis was to exterminate 11,000,000 Jews as revealed in
the “Minutes of the Wannsee Conference”. Here on January 20, 1942, the highest ranking
officials of Nazi Germany plotted out their goals and agenda in the
implementation of the final solution to the Jewish question. Included were the countries from which these Jews would
be taken and eventually killed in the extermination camps outside the borders of Germany, predominately in
occupied Poland.
So, let us
again look at the actors in the mini-drama of “Hitler and the Nation of
Czechoslovakia” and see the “10 Parallels today” of the Western globalists in
America, Europe, Radical Islam and the Palestinian Authority with the Nation of
Israel:

repeating itself in the creation of a Palestinian Homeland in the Mountains of
Israel as proposed by President George W. Bush in the Annapolis Accord of 2008.
Now today, for “nine months” under the direction of President Barak Hussein
Obama in the 2013 Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process the future of the Jewish
people will be mapped out. What is the goal; the destruction of the State of
Israel?
What is of most interest is the fact that a
specific time-table has been impelled upon this peace process; “nine months.”
As we look over the biblical prophecies and the testimony of the sages of
Judah, we now ponder the implications of what will happen at the “end of the
age” when the “era of the Maschiach will be revealed” and the long awaited for
“World to Come” will be unveiled by the G-d of Israel.
Then we are reminded again, the ever
occurring historical drama of our defiance, then exile, then our repentance,
and finally our reclamation, repentance, restoration, and redemption in
restoration to the land of also our genetic tribal forefathers; Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob. The dark forces, if we refuse to repent and with emuna come to the
throne of the Father in heaven, will seek to engulf our lives and again like
the Jews will be refugees, fleeing to our tribal homeland, or it also could
happen, if we collectively, both Jews and 10-Tribers impeach the G-d of Israel,
with great haste it could be over soon.
It was in the year of 939 CE that Rav Hai ben
Sherira, better known as Rav Hai Gaon was born in Fallujah, Iraq where he first
received his Talmudic education under his father, Sherira ben Hanina, served as
his “ab bet din” with the Sanhedrin there, where they jointly delivered
numerous halakhic decision. Known as one of the best medieval Jewish
theologians, as rabbi and scholar he served in his father’s stead as the Gaon
of the Talmudic Academy of Pumbedita in the 11th century. On his
accession to the esteemed post as the Gaon, Rav Hai Gaon was greeted with
“great enthusiasm” by the Iraqi Jews and in the haftarah associate with the
Solomon’s accession, the last verse in the Haftarah was adapted with these
words, “And Hai sat on the throne of Sherira his father, and his government was
firmly established” until he died in the year of 1038 CE.
With his intense knowledge of both the Oral
and the Written Torah, Rav Hai Gaon focused his brain to the days in the far
future when the era of the Maschiach will eventually come, he wrote these
words:
Rav Hai Gaon
– “When seven years remain of the “years of the end” which our sages
refer to as “the week that ben David will come, “Edom/Esav [recognized
as Edom Rome to the sages] will rule the Jewish people for at least nine
months, but no more than three years…
[At that
time] a descendent of Yoseph will arise by the word of G-d, and people will
call him Maschiach. Many will round in the Upper Galilee, and he will be their
king. A few Jews in other countries will also bond with him, as it is written,
“I will take you, one of a city and two of a family” (Jeremiah 3:14. However,
the majority of the Jewish people will remain in the diaspora, not realizing
that the end-time has come.”
We ponder upon these words, and realize that
Edom Rome is behind all the machinations of this international chess game,
seeking to wrestle the city of Jerusalem away from the clutches of the
government of Israel in Jerusalem; the Temple Mount, and more than a dozen
other properties, including the Tomb of King David, from the sovereign control
of the Jewish State.
This drama will continue to intensify, yet we
have to reconsider the words of another Jewish sage, Rabbi Judah ben Samuel
who was born in Speyer, Germany in 1140 CE and became known as Rav Judah the
Pious (Rav Yehuda HeHasid) for his esteemed leadership of the Chassidei
Ashkenaz movement of Jewish mysticism whose specific focus was on prayer and
moral conduct. What he was best known, besides the renown Jewish sages who
studied under him were the manuscripts and books fragments he left behind from
his three seminal books; the Sefer Hasidim (Book of the Pious), Sefer Gematriyot (a book on
the astronomical knowledge in the TaNaKh) and the Sefer Hakavod (Book of Glory). Let us
read what Rabbi Judah ben Samuel wrote just before his death in the Jubilee
year of 1217 in Regensburg, Germany.
Rabbi Judah ben Samuel – “When the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to
be reckoned with on the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer
Jerusalem (1517 CE) they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees
(1517-1917). Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee
(1917-1967), and then in the ninth jubilee (1967) it will once again come
back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the
beginning of the Messianic end time (Jubilee years of 1967-2017).”
Our hearts tingle with joy, but remain
sadden. We see the words boldly imprinted over the newspapers of all the great
cities around the world, the motivations of the globalists; “do as we say, or
we will enact another “Final Solution (Status)”. We are here for nine months
only (but may stay around for up to three years (2014-2917); it’s time to
relinquish your hold upon Shomron and Judea plus parts of East Jerusalem or
else….”
We know in our hearts, that we could walk
directly into the messianic future ruled by the Maschiach ben Dovid (Messiah
son of David, if we only were willing to come to the One G-d of Israel in
emuna, that is with willing repentance, beseech the G-d of Creation, El
Shaddai, and that these events will speedily be fulfilled without great
catastrophes and calamities that will befall each of our lives.
These facts embrace our lives with the mixed
emotions of joy and sadness, for you and I as the Lost Ten Tribes of the House
of Israel will be a part of this great transformation of Planet Earth, but are
we willing to lay down our lives also for our brothers and sisters, the Orthodox
Jews living in Israel. Are we willing to recognize them for the true patriots
and pioneers of that noble and holy land; Israel? Do we recognize that they are fighting every
day of their lives, to keep not just their tribal homelands out of the grasp of
the dark forces that surround them, but would you guess, your tribal homelands
also?
It’s time to ponder, repent, and make the
move to support the Divine Peace Process, the reconciliation of the Lost 10
Tribes of the House of Israel and the Jews of the House of Judah, that HaShem
will raise up and restore with all its Divine power and glory in our soon to
come future; called the World to Come.

Whether it is President Obama or Secretary of State John
Forbes Kerry, prophets are specific; the “appointed time” for the G-d of Israel
to act in His redemption of the Jews and the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of

Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel, take them from the lands of their
dwelling and restore them to the Land of their Forefathers, to reclaim their
Divine Heritage (Ezekiel 36). This is not a conditional prophesy. Rather, it is a prophecy for the Lost
Israelites, at which time we will be restored back into brotherhood with the Jews of the House of Judah. (Ezekiel 37).

A reign of “Peace” and “Delusions” has now
consumed the Middle East. Truly the whole world was watching to see what would
happen as the Israeli and the Palestinian negotiation teams met for the first time
after a three year hiatus, this time in Washington, D.C on July 29, 2013. According
to State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki, we heard something that had a
strange ring of the ancient Nazarenes, whose apocalyptic vision of the future
came straight out of the Jewish Orthodoxy culture of the 1st century
Temple of Herod era when rabbinic schools of Beit Shammai and Beit Hillel were
involved in their great debates on halakhah and the prophetic future of
Judaism.
I Thessalonians 5:1-3 –
“But you have no need to have anything written to you, brothers, about the
times and dates when this will happen; because you yourselves well know that
the Day of the L-rd will come like a thief in the night. When people are
saying, “Everything is so peaceful and secure,” then destruction will
suddenly come upon them the way labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and
there is no way they will escape.”

Jen Psaki said concerning the new “Peace Conference” between that began on July
30, 2013 in Washington D.C:

together for at least this period.”
At the informal dinner at the American State
Department, Secretary of State John Kerry, a Shabbatean Czechoslovakian Jew
who called himself an Irish Catholic over a Muslim Iftar meal when at the end of
Ramadan, the Muslims sit down for the festive meal called the “Festival of the
Breaking of the Fast.” The Eid al-Fitr
celebrates the end of the month-long fasting on Ramadan. Here in the State Department Jefferson room
in Washington D.C. this breaking of the fast heralded the ceremonial launch of
the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.
Was it an auspicious moment in earth’s
history, marking the end of Ramadan, when Jewish and Islamic negotiators began
again the long sought out diplomatic path to “peace in the Middle East”? Would it bring an era of “Peace” or only an
era of “Peace with Great Security?” It appeared that the Israeli Justice Minister
Tzipt was in a “good” mood as she finished this evening for she proclaimed that
both sides were “serious” this time about the coming up talks in the future.
Then Jen Psaki made another strange and ominous appearing statement for those
with “eyes that can see” of “clues” towards the time of the end, when she
stated:

is the beginning of “final-status” arrangements on a “nine-month timetable.”
So let us remember the words with greater
clarity; “Final-Status” and a “Nine-Month Timetable” so we can be
reminded of what “code words” are we speaking about? We did not have to wait
long, for simultaneous to the opening of these talks on Monday, July 29, a
sermon was delivered on the official Palestinian Authority TV channel by Palestinian Authority
Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash. This sermon was given in
the presence of the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas. It was translated into English for us by the Palestinian Media Watch.
Al-Habbash compared the current American lead
peace negotiations to the Hudaybiyyah Peace Treaty, a
10-year peace treaty that was sealed between Islam’s prophet Mohammed and the
Quraish tribe at Mecca (pronounced Koresh). This was when the Muslim clans in
Mecca opposing the rise of the power of Mohammed drove Mohammed from Mecca to
Yathrib, now called Medina.
Numerous battles raged over the Arabian deserts
between the Muslim clans who were known as the Banu Ishmael, or the children of
Ishmael. It was not until the Battle of Badr,
when the tribe of Quraysh was defeated. This turning point brought a new era
for the Muslims, an era that affects the entire world today when the forces
loyal to Mohammed gained control of the entire region. For those genealogist

Arising
from the ashes of the Muslims tribal conflicts, after the introduction of the
primal tenants of Islam, the Tribe of Quraysh gained ascendency and produced the
three major dynasties of the Ummayad Caliphate, the Abbasid Caliphate and
the Fatimid Caliphate. The split between the Shi'a and Sunni branches of Islam
centers over the succession to
Muhammad. The Sunnis believe Abu Bakr was
elected as Muhammad's successor while the Shi'a (literally "supporters [of
Ali]") believed Muhammad appointed Ali ibn Abi Talib as his
successor.
Comprehending
the strategic role of the Hudaybiyyah 10-year Peace
Treaty of how it gave the Prophet Mohammad, according to Mahmoud Al-Habbash the necessary time
to gain strategic political and military strength before Mohammad’s Islamic
Jihad gained control over the enter Arabian Peninsula has profound implications
today. This is why Mahmoud Al-Habbash made the
proclamation that the “Peace talks with Israel were on “the right path”.
Mahmoud Abbas and Mahmoud Al-Habbash today are now following the blueprint for conquest set
out exactly like the Prophet Mohammed did in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.
As Al- Al-Habbash stated in a byline,
the Palestinian achievements “never would have happened though Hamas’ impulsive
adventure” when like many of Mohammed’s companions who burned with anger that
their leader was negotiating with the Quraish tribe rather than attacking
Mecca. In the eyes and the mind of Mohammad,
a “more measured approach would lead them to victory”.
Two years
after signing the treaty with the Quraish tribe, Mohammed’s jihad lashed out
with a brutal conquest of Mecca. Soon the Kabbah, Mecca and Medina were all in
the hands of the Islamic prophet. As Mahmoud Al-Habbash opined:

Within 48 hours, the
Israeli media were alerted to the facts that the mental vision of Palestinian
leader Mahmoud Abbas were much different than the “starry filled eyes” of the
western international press when Mahmoud Abbas declared as he was meeting with interim
Egyptian President Adly Mansour, that the Palestinian State in which he was
dreaming of as an independent state was one ethnically cleansed of Jewish
people.

a single Israeli — civilian or soldier — on our lands.”
It was the Palestinian
leadership who first launched the demands that the State of Israel would open
up the borders of Israel so that thousands of Palestinian laborers could work
freely in the land of Israel. This was followed up by the demand that Israel
would open up its gates to the settlements so that “Palestinian refugees” could
plant their homes among the Jewish people. At the same time, the creation of a Palestinian
State would be Judenrein, that is cleansed by genocide of the Jewish people. So
these “leopards” have not and never will “change their spots.”
It was in the year of 2011
that the Tablet Magazine interviewed the Palestinian Ambassador to the United
States, Maen Rashid Areikat. Areikat stated with great clarity that no Jew
would be allowed to reside and live nor work in the State of Palestine.

If we fail to comprehend
how the Palestinian Authority intends to enforce such a stark vision of the
future, we must only remind ourselves that under the rule of Mahmoud Abbas:
The “West Bank” continues
to enforce the Death Penalty against any Arab who dares to sell land to the
Israeli Jews. This was enforced in living reality when in 2012;
Hebron resident Mohammed
Abu Shahala was reportedly tortured and sentenced to death by the courts of the
Palestinian Authority for brokering the sale of a local apartment to a Jewish
family. Then earlier in 2010;
A Palestinian court
submitted judgment of an appeal by the public prosecutor Ahmed al-Mughani that
was ruled in its favor that any Arab found guilty of selling land to any Jew
would automatically receive the death penalty. According to al-Mughani’s reasoning,
the current law was too lenient and unenforceable at that time.
So today, are we again
seeing the beginnings of a “Final Solution” now called the “Final Status Arrangements” which spells
out again another holocaust for the Jewish people, this time living in the State
of Israel? It was in the year of 1943 that the Nazi Reichsfuhrer-SS, Heinrich
Himmler who was also the head of the German Nazi Gestapo, the Waffen-SS, and
the Minister of the Interior (1943-1945) who organized and implemented the genocide
and the mass murder of the Jewish people in Europe. As documented in 2002

at an early date. All requests
by other offices for changes or permits for exceptions to be made must be

According to the official records of
the Jews, the official
date for the beginning of the
Jewish Holocaust was the 9th
of Av, July 23, 1942. On this day in Germany, the first
trainload of sixty closed cars with Jewish “deportees” was loaded
in the Warsaw Ghetto, left Malkinia, and
arrived at the Treblinka Concentration Camp. The Jewish people were quickly ushered to their death into the gas
chambers.
Out of six death camps, Treblinka was unique as it was designed to be a “factory of death”. Built by German industrialists, and financed by money funneled by American banking interests, it quickly became known for its efficiency in the mass murdering of Jews. It took only about 20 SS German or Austrian
police with about 80 Ukrainian
guards to gas to death over
800,000 Jews in over 14 months,
mainly Jews from Warsaw, Poland.
Six months
earlier, on January 20,
1942, the Wannsee Conference was
convened in suburbia Berlin with the senior German officials who were
to be responsible to coordinate
the systematic extermination of the
Jews. At this time the “Final
Solution to the Jewish Problem” was formally announced.
Genocide has been a sad part of the history of
mankind, yet the Holocaust was
unique. It was premeditated,
coordinated, and intentionally
implemented with the goal of one
“final solution”; the systematic
slaughter of every Jew in Europe, eleven million by Nazi estimates, that
were to include even the Jews
living in England and in Ireland.
This was also the first time a
biological reason was given
to destroy the Jews.
One year
earlier, on July 31,
1941, the 8th of Av,
Hermann Goring signed the document
to implement the “final solution of
the Jewish problem”. This
was not the first time that the German Nazis had killed Jews.
They were systematically sent
before the Einsltzgruppen firing squads, which had executed over a million Jews before
the “final solution” was implemented.
Let us imprint these three dates;
The Final
Solution was decreed by Heinrich Himmler on the 8th of Av, one
day before Tisha B'Av 1941.
The Final
Solution first day to implement as decreed by Heinrich Himmler on the 9th of Av, called Tisha B'Av 1941, the very day that the Temples of Solomon and Herod were destroyed.
The Orders were
signed to Complete the Final Solution by Heinrich Himmler on the 5th of Av, four days before Tisha B'Av 1942.
The cattle cars
left from Warsaw, the largest
ghetto with 400,000 Jews,
on the 9th of Av,
called Tisha B'Av 1942.”
If the carefully crafted words to be used for
the international press concerning the current Peace Conference between Israel
and the Palestinian leaders residing in what is called the “West Bank”, the use
of the terms “Final Status” might carry also a similar connotation for
the Palestinians under the Mufti of Jerusalem
were the greatest propagandists for the Hitler’s German Nazi Regime during World War II. It was the Palestinians who also sought diligently
to begin the “Final Solution” in the land of Israel, called Roman Palestine, before the creation of the
State of Israel in 1948.
Yet, the G-d of Israel had now left behind a
“blueprint” for the Jewish people to become aware of what the international world
would seek again to do at the time of the end, this time to them during the
last 7 years before the revealing of the messiah.

Czechoslovakia promoted the idea in 1919 with U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, the idea of a Jewish Homeland in the region called Palestine. The world leaders who became the architects of the 1919
Treaty of Versailles all agreed that
the Jewish should be allowed to settle in the land known as the British Colonial Palestine. The rest of the land from Iraq to Yemen would go to the
rest of the Arabian people. Yet,
it was the British in 1921
that created the Hashemite
Kingdom of Transjordan as a Palestine State for the Arabs. It was suppose to leave room
for a Jewish state that never
was allowed to become a
political reality.
Of the land envisioned by Czechoslovakia Foreign Minister Edvard Beneš (1918-1935) of
Czechoslovakia with President
Woodrow Wilson of American in 1919 to be a Homeland for the Jewish people, only 10% was eventually given to the
Jews to be their new State of
Israel.
The failure of the world leaders to create a viable Jewish state led eventually to the Holocaust under
Hitler Germany with the Jewish
people having no homeland to escape or flee. This failure was the
prime responsibility of the British that controlled the area as the British
Mandate. Millions of Jews perished because of the British refusal to allow them to immigrate to Palestine Israel. As

Where did this resistance come from? The British had no motive to
form a new nation of Israel, for the Monarchy
of British, believes that they are the living
and visible throne of Israel today.
Were they not the genetic royal lineage that was preserved from the House of David from the remnant that fled to Egypt with Jeremiah the Prophet? Here Tamar Tephi, the last princess of Israel, married a Scythian prince and
became the first Queen of the House of Ireland, the ancestors to the British Royal Family.
This land of Israel did not come into reality
until 1947 when Menachem Begin, the “young lions of Judah” drove out the
old Lions, the British out of Colonial Palestine in the War of Liberation. Yet when the UN resolution 181
of 1947 was formulated, which called for the partitioning of Palestine into two states, one Jewish and
one Arab, this land was part of British Colonial Palestine which included Judea and Samaria. It was the “young lions of
Judah” who liberated their Land
from the evacuating British.
Before the British withdrew, the
Jewish people were forcibly evacuated from Judea and Samaria so that Jordan [Hashemite (G-d’s??)
Kingdom of Jordan] could accept national
control over the area.
By that time the Jews were
heading to their new homeland (1948), the now President Edvard Beneš’ country of Czechoslovakia has been swallowed up by Nazi Germany, the Jewish population when the Czech people were sold out by the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain at the Munich Agreement with Adolf Hitler in 1938 that toppled the government of one brave foreign leader that had a vision for a homeland for the Jews. How could this have
happened?
It was on March 28, 1938 that the Konrad Henlein of the Czech
Sudeten-German party (SdP) and an undercover agent of Adolf Hitler demanded from the Edvard Beneš government that the central part of Czechoslovakia be ceded to the Germany government of Adolf Hitler. This plan may seen strange and preposterous that a foreign power could take control of the central highlands of a different and separate country in what was called the Carlsbad Decree. Named after a small town in the hinterland of the Czech Republic, this spa city at the
junction of the Ohře and Teplá
rivers was founded in 1370 was famed for its 13 hot springs, 300 smaller springs and the warm water Teplá river.
A majority of the population of the Sudetenland in central Czechoslovakia were German when it was ceded to Nazi Germany in 1938. This was a strategic ploy on the part of Hitler because Germany and
Czechoslovakia was protected from Germany by a mountainous chain in which the Germany Panzers would have difficulty invading this fiercely independent country. So Hitler used the German minority in Sudeten to exploit in his pretext to eventually conquer Czechoslovakia and then Central Europe.
When the Edvard Beneš government was faced with the cessation of the interior part of their country, he suddenly found himself also isolated from the rest of the European community. The Carlsbad Decrees on April 24, 1938 demanded autonomy for the German’s in Sudetenland to give them the freedom
to profess the rising Nazi ideology that was sweeping the German nationals.
In the meantime, France and Great Britain were in an isolationist and pacifist mood, not wanting war and not wishing to confront the evil of Nazi
anti-Semitism face to face. France backed out geo-politically and gave her foreign policy decision role to Britain. The British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain (1937-1940) became the prime spokesman for Western Europe.
Chamberlain’s foreign policy and international relations was centered by the ideology of appeasement. Thinking that giving German access to the Sudetenland that Germany would become satisfied in her lust for regional or world domination that she would not seek any more European territorial concessions, Chamberlain agreed to the Munich Agreement in which Germany, France, Britain, and Italy signed with Hitler
permitting the German annexation of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia.
A true understanding of the next few weeks in Czechoslovakia in the fall of 1938 can give a BibleSearcher the prophetic insight into what has now become the model for
independence of the Palestinian people and the declaration of a Palestinian State in the midst of the Nation of Israel.
This is not a coincidence. This is actually a replay of a
chain of events played out before World War II between the Nazi Germany
and the Western European powers that imposed international agreements upon another autonomous state that they had no international right to do. Yet the government of the militarily strong country of Czechoslovakian
collapsed on September 30, 1938 when President Edvard Beneš waited for her western allied to come to her aid. They remained silent and the citizens of Czechoslovakia took up her defense too late.
So today the Nation of Israel has now been caught between a rock and annihilation as the Barak-Sharon-Olmert governments have linked their national destiny with the American Clinton-Bush White House, both of which are well know supporters of a future world unified global government. This time, biblical prophecy has given us the Roadmap of the Divine. The Nation of Israel will become as corrupt as Sodom and Gomorrah as she follows the Roadmap of the Quartet in their appeasement to radical Islam. Only a “remnant” will remain true to the G-d of
Israel, but this remnant will become like a firebrand for the coming messiah of Israel. This is the story
of the prophets of ancient Israel and Judah. Let us first see
what happened to Czechoslovakia.
President Beneš obviously resisted. Was he not the only world leader where the L-rd of hosts implanted a novel idea; the Jewish people that were scattered to the nations around the world would need their
own national homeland before the prophecies given to the prophets of Israel could be fulfilled. The time had come. The Jewish
people and her weak-minded and fearful rabbinic and political leadership had resisted the idea of a national homeland.
As difficult as it is to conceive of such a fate, it took the Holocaust in Central Europe and the pogroms in Russia to convince the Jews of Europe (Sephardic) and Russia (Ashkenazi) that whatever their religious convictions, the Jewish people, the last nationalistic people not to have their
own homeland, must now begin to dream about the prayer that had been on their lips for almost
two millenniums, “Someday in Jerusalem.”
By May 20, 1938, the Nation of Czechoslovakia partially mobilized their military with the international
rumors that the German troops were on the move. Unknowns to them, Hitler had signed a secret “directive of war” that no later than October 1, 1938, Germany would declare war against Czechoslovakia. In the meantime, the Britain demanded that the Czech government request international mediation,
not unlike the presidential administration in America today. To this international pressure President Beneš reluctantly conceded.
The British Lord Runsiman was appointed as mediator and instructed that the government of the Czech people be forced to accept a settlement with the German residents in
Sudeten. On September 2, 1938, Beneš accepted most of the Carlsbad Decree in his “Fourth Plan.” But the German
revolted and went to the streets in violent protest. Demonstrations
erupted in the town of Ostrava on September 7. The negotiations fell apart on September 15. The rising revolt demanded the return of the entire Sudetenland to the Nation of Germany.
In the meantime, Hitler and Chamberlain were meeting in secret at Adolf Hitler’s Villa retreat called the “Eagle’s Nest” along with houses for Hitler’s secretary, Martin Bormann and Luftwaffe chief Hermann Goering sitting over an intricate bunker network to protect the
Nazi leaders in the Bavarian Alps at Berchtesgaden. Here the Fuhrer demanded in the name of the Third Reich that the Sudetenland be turned immediately over to Germany because the Czech government was “slaughtering” the German people. If not, the western world would be facing a regional war and possibly a global war.
The British and the French gave the government of Czechoslovakia
an ultimatum, give up Sudetenland or face the withdrawal of any western alliance or assistance. On September 21, 1938, the government of Beneš capitulated to western pressure and the Czech nationals now went into revolt. They demanded that their government protect
them.
Immediately
Hitler made new demands; the minority claims of the Polish and the Hungarians would have
to also be settled. A new “acting” government under the appointed new Prime Minister
General Jan Syrový made some generalized mobilization of forces. A military of the Czech’s was modern and an envy of many of the European countries.
They had a country with
natural protection of mountains and frontier fortifications that
were in excellent condition for the defense of the country. Even the Soviet Union proclaimed its willingness to come to their assistance. Yet President Beneš refused to
act without the western support and assistance.
On September 28, 1938, Chamberlain appealed to Hitler, so the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler met with the chief representatives of France, Italy and Great Britain in Munich, Germany. Top secret negotiations without the knowledge or consultation of the Czech government were conducted that led to the signing of the Munich Agreement on September 29, 1938.
The Czechoslovak government capitulated and agreed to abide by the Munich Agreement on September 30. The Munich Agreement stipulated that Czechoslovakia must cede
Sudeten territory to Germany. German occupation of the Sudetenland would be completed by October 10, the day for the independence for the Czech Republic was over.
President Beneš had been politically and military surrounded by his friends and foes. The Nation of Czechoslovakia had to cede the Sudeten territory to
Germany without even a fight. It was to be completed by October 10 under an international commission represented
by Germany, the
United Kingdom, France, Italy and now Czechoslovakia that would determine the final borders according
to the plebiscite. The British and the French promised to protect and give international guarantee that the new borders would be
protected from “unprovoked” aggression. Germany and Italy refused to join in any guarantee until the Polish and the Hungarian minority complaints were
resolved. On October 2, 1938, the
Czech territories were given to Hungary by Germany and Italy at Vienna and
by November 1, 1938, the Polish annexed Czech territory to the Nation of Poland.
On October
5, 1938, President Beneš
resigned and fled into exile
at Putney, London. Later his family lived out the war living
in The Abbey at Aston Abbotts in Buckinghamshire. There he organized the Provisional Government-in-Exile where General Jan Šrámek lived
nearby as his Prime Minister.
With the main military fortifications in the country built in the Sudeten
region and now taken over
by the German Nazi army, the remainder of the Czech Republic remained
defenseless. Within six
month, the pro-German Slovak
fascists, provoked by Hitler,
began to demand the Slovak independence.
This “independence” actually
became a puppet state dependent
upon the protection of the Third German Reich after Hitler invaded the provinces of Moravia and
Bohemia. Without any
resistance, the once Nation of
Czechoslovakia became a German
Protectorate under the appointed
Reich Protector, Konstantin von Neurath.
The Jewish
people living in Czechoslovakia numbered about 350,000 out of a total
population of 15.3 million Czechs. About a third of the Jewish people lived in Bohemia and Moravia, in the
land that was left after the appropriations
by the German Sudetenland plus the lands given to Hungry and Poland. Within seven months the new Reich Protector, Konstantin von Neurath
began a series of anti-Semitic decrees
paralleling those issued earlier
in Germany. Soon the economic
stability of the Jewish citizens
was gone and soon all of their property
was confiscated.
By October
1939, the first of the
deportations of Jews were sent to the Polish concentration camps had begun. Three years later 75% of the Jewish population in Czechoslovakia had been killed in the fiery furnaces at Auschwitz.
When the war was over, the total
Jewish casualties during the Holocaust of World War II were calculated, out of 5,754,000 Jewish deaths, 277,000 were from Czechoslovakia.
The Germans were expelled in 1945 when the Czech government gained
control of its lands after World
War II with President Edvard
Beneš returning to the new Czech
government in 1946. He resigned when the Communists forced him to
sign a Communist constitution in
1948 and his country remained
under the control of the
communist United Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR).
Close your
eyes and
now think about the events that
are swirling around the world today.
Reconsider the plight of the Jews
and then consider their fate
that their Islamic neighbors publicly
demand for the Jewish people
to the international media.
The influence of Hitler with the
Islamic radicals has been profound. This history with the rise of the Hamas, the Palestinian
Muslim Brotherhood and the Mufti
of Jerusalem was documented

Are
the nations of the world any more astute
today than they were with the rise of Hitler’s Third German Reich? The jury is
out, but we are probably today just as clueless. When radical
Islam today proclaims, “Death to America” does that ring any bells in the annals of history? The fact that they look to America as the “Great Satan” and Israel as the “Little Satan” suggests the importance of destroying the influence of the American “Eagle” on the geo-political stage of history.
Yet, did the G-d of Israel give us the lesson of “Hitler and Czechoslovakia” as a mini-drama to give us an idea of what would be recreated
again for the Jewish Nation of Israel? Is it not a coincidence that the one national leadership who foresaw in the “Age of Nationalism” became the only nation on the international landscape not to have a national home. These were the Jewish people who publicly pronounced the need for the national homeland to the international community. Did Beneš
proclamation of support for the Jewish people also spell the fate for the independence
of his own people?
The
outcome was the death of 6,000,000 Jews but the goal of Adolf Hitler, as
calculated by the German Nazis was to exterminate 11,000,000 Jews as revealed in
the “Minutes of the Wannsee Conference”. Here on January 20, 1942, the highest ranking
officials of Nazi Germany plotted out their goals and agenda in the
implementation of the final solution to the Jewish question. Included were the countries from which these Jews would
be taken and eventually killed in the extermination camps outside the borders of Germany, predominately in
occupied Poland.
So, let us
again look at the actors in the mini-drama of “Hitler and the Nation of
Czechoslovakia” and see the “10 Parallels today” of the Western globalists in
America, Europe, Radical Islam and the Palestinian Authority with the Nation of
Israel:
Nazism with

Are we willing to see history repeat itself,
as the Internationalist Model for the destruction of the Jewish State was first
created by the Western Allies of Britain, France, Germany, and Italy, giving
the Czech Sudetenland to Hitler in the year of 1938? This “model” is today
repeating itself in the creation of a Palestinian Homeland in the Mountains of
Israel as proposed by President George W. Bush in the Annapolis Accord of 2008.
Now today, for “nine months” under the direction of President Barak Hussein
Obama in the 2013 Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process the future of the Jewish
people will be mapped out. What is the goal; the destruction of the State of
Israel?
What is of most interest is the fact that a
specific time-table has been impelled upon this peace process; “nine months.”
As we look over the biblical prophecies and the testimony of the sages of
Judah, we now ponder the implications of what will happen at the “end of the
age” when the “era of the Maschiach will be revealed” and the long awaited for
“World to Come” will be unveiled by the G-d of Israel.
Then we are reminded again, the ever
occurring historical drama of our defiance, then exile, then our repentance,
and finally our reclamation, repentance, restoration, and redemption in
restoration to the land of also our genetic tribal forefathers; Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob. The dark forces, if we refuse to repent and with emuna come to the
throne of the Father in heaven, will seek to engulf our lives and again like
the Jews will be refugees, fleeing to our tribal homeland, or it also could
happen, if we collectively, both Jews and 10-Tribers impeach the G-d of Israel,
with great haste it could be over soon.
It was in the year of 939 CE that Rav Hai ben
Sherira, better known as Rav Hai Gaon was born in Fallujah, Iraq where he first
received his Talmudic education under his father, Sherira ben Hanina, served as
his “ab bet din” with the Sanhedrin there, where they jointly delivered
numerous halakhic decision. Known as one of the best medieval Jewish
theologians, as rabbi and scholar he served in his father’s stead as the Gaon
of the Talmudic Academy of Pumbedita in the 11th century. On his
accession to the esteemed post as the Gaon, Rav Hai Gaon was greeted with
“great enthusiasm” by the Iraqi Jews and in the haftarah associate with the
Solomon’s accession, the last verse in the Haftarah was adapted with these
words, “And Hai sat on the throne of Sherira his father, and his government was
firmly established” until he died in the year of 1038 CE.
With his intense knowledge of both the Oral
and the Written Torah, Rav Hai Gaon focused his brain to the days in the far
future when the era of the Maschiach will eventually come, he wrote these
words:
Rav Hai Gaon
– “When seven years remain of the “years of the end” which our sages
refer to as “the week that ben David will come, “Edom/Esav [recognized
as Edom Rome to the sages] will rule the Jewish people for at least nine
months, but no more than three years…
[At that
time] a descendent of Yoseph will arise by the word of G-d, and people will
call him Maschiach. Many will round in the Upper Galilee, and he will be their
king. A few Jews in other countries will also bond with him, as it is written,
“I will take you, one of a city and two of a family” (Jeremiah 3:14. However,
the majority of the Jewish people will remain in the diaspora, not realizing
that the end-time has come.”
We ponder upon these words, and realize that
Edom Rome is behind all the machinations of this international chess game,
seeking to wrestle the city of Jerusalem away from the clutches of the
government of Israel in Jerusalem; the Temple Mount, and more than a dozen
other properties, including the Tomb of King David, from the sovereign control
of the Jewish State.
This drama will continue to intensify, yet we
have to reconsider the words of another Jewish sage, Rabbi Judah ben Samuel
who was born in Speyer, Germany in 1140 CE and became known as Rav Judah the
Pious (Rav Yehuda HeHasid) for his esteemed leadership of the Chassidei
Ashkenaz movement of Jewish mysticism whose specific focus was on prayer and
moral conduct. What he was best known, besides the renown Jewish sages who
studied under him were the manuscripts and books fragments he left behind from
his three seminal books; the Sefer Hasidim (Book of the Pious), Sefer Gematriyot (a book on
the astronomical knowledge in the TaNaKh) and the Sefer Hakavod (Book of Glory). Let us
read what Rabbi Judah ben Samuel wrote just before his death in the Jubilee
year of 1217 in Regensburg, Germany.
Rabbi Judah ben Samuel – “When the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to
be reckoned with on the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer
Jerusalem (1517 CE) they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees
(1517-1917). Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee
(1917-1967), and then in the ninth jubilee (1967) it will once again come
back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the
beginning of the Messianic end time (Jubilee years of 1967-2017).”
Our hearts tingle with joy, but remain
sadden. We see the words boldly imprinted over the newspapers of all the great
cities around the world, the motivations of the globalists; “do as we say, or
we will enact another “Final Solution (Status)”. We are here for nine months
only (but may stay around for up to three years (2014-2917); it’s time to
relinquish your hold upon Shomron and Judea plus parts of East Jerusalem or
else….”
We know in our hearts, that we could walk
directly into the messianic future ruled by the Maschiach ben Dovid (Messiah
son of David, if we only were willing to come to the One G-d of Israel in
emuna, that is with willing repentance, beseech the G-d of Creation, El
Shaddai, and that these events will speedily be fulfilled without great
catastrophes and calamities that will befall each of our lives.
These facts embrace our lives with the mixed
emotions of joy and sadness, for you and I as the Lost Ten Tribes of the House
of Israel will be a part of this great transformation of Planet Earth, but are
we willing to lay down our lives also for our brothers and sisters, the Orthodox
Jews living in Israel. Are we willing to recognize them for the true patriots
and pioneers of that noble and holy land; Israel? Do we recognize that they are fighting every
day of their lives, to keep not just their tribal homelands out of the grasp of
the dark forces that surround them, but would you guess, your tribal homelands
also?
It’s time to ponder, repent, and make the
move to support the Divine Peace Process, the reconciliation of the Lost 10
Tribes of the House of Israel and the Jews of the House of Judah, that HaShem
will raise up and restore with all its Divine power and glory in our soon to
come future; called the World to Come.

Whether it is President Obama or Secretary of State John
Forbes Kerry, prophets are specific; the “appointed time” for the G-d of Israel
to act in His redemption of the Jews and the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of

Sometimes the unthinkable becomes the most
thinkable thing that we must do to honor HaShem’s intentions for our destiny
and life on planet earth. There has been
a large movement in Judaism who has stated that it is unthinkable to act upon
the divine concept that we must bring the sacred arena of G-d’s past blessings
and Shekinah Presence back under the influence of Jewish leadership in the Land

They have watched for decades the restriction,
though unofficial that refuse to allow Jews to pray upon the Temple Mount and
even allow Christians to bring a Bible upon the site in fear of a Muslim
backlash their willingness to harm or kill anyone there who in not Muslim.
We see this concept today being spelled out in
living reality as the Israeli people are growing increasingly fed up with the
lack of religious freedom for Jews on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount; the most holy
site of Judaism. Why? Is it because they are afraid of a backlash of the
Muslims who today have control over the Temple Mount? Not necessarily! It’s because the Jewish people do not have
the faith that the Jewish political leadership in the Israeli Knesset
(Parliament) and in the High Court in Jerusalem will support the fact that it
is time that the Jewish people must act in their own sovereign way and support
the fact that the G-d of Israel has claimed Jerusalem to be one of His Zion’s
and it is time for their redemption and the redemption of the Temple Mount
where the next Jewish Temple is in preparation stage to be built.
It was on August 1, 2013 that Israel National
News wrote about the call of the Israeli MK Moshe Feiglin who lives as part of
the patriots and pioneering families in Shomron, that it is time for a mass
protest at the Temple Mount during the last days of Ramadan for the Jerusalem
Police in an “unprecedented” move have shut down the Temple Mount to Jews and
Christians in the following article, titled, “Feiglin declares: “It’s Time to Flood the Temple Mount.”
Israel National News – “Israelis who believe the Temple
Mount should remain in Israeli hands must take urgent action, Likud MK Moshe
Feiglin warned Thursday. Feiglin, who heads the Jewish Leadership faction of
the Likud party, visited the Temple Mount on Thursday despite knowing he would
find it locked to Jews, as a display of protest.
In an “unprecedented” move, police on
Wednesday informed Jewish groups that the Temple Mount will be closed to
all non-Muslims until at least the end of Ramadan, on 11th August. The announcement has provoked renewed anger over anti-Jewish
discrimination on the Temple Mount, and sparked calls by activists for a
mass-protest on 7th August, at the start of the Hebrew month of Elul.
Temple Mount activists had complained that for the past
three days the Temple Mount - the holiest place in Judaism - remained inexplicably
closed to non-Muslim visitors. The only "explanation" offered was a
bland sign which simply read "Today the Temple Mount will be closed to
visitors." Those restrictions did not, however, apply
to Muslim visitors, who continue to receive
unrestricted access.
On Wednesday, Police Commander Avi Bitton finally
informed representatives of the Organisation of Temple Movements - an
umbrella of various Temple Mount groups - that the sign would remain up for at
least another two weeks, until after the Muslim festival of "Eid",
which marks the end of Ramadan.
Feiglin told
Arutz Sheva on Thursday that the closure of the holy site to Jews for the Ramadan
holiday is a real cause for concern. The unprecedented move is linked to
diplomatic talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, he confirmed.
“There’s a process here of taking sovereignty over the
Temple Mount into Islamic hands, and it’s part of an agreement that [Prime
Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu and [Justice Minister] Tzipi Livni are going
to build in the upcoming months,” he warned.
The political right must realize that unless it is
willing to sacrifice for the sake of Jewish access to the holy site, nothing
will happen, he added. “I call for everyone who hears us to come here, to
understand that they are giving the very heart of Jerusalem to foreigners, to
Islam,” he called.
Taking a conservative approach will not help, he said.
“This isn’t a matter of policy, of authorizations – we’ve already tried all the
accepted routes. We need to understand that there needs to be sacrifice here
that one thousand people show up ready to make
sacrifices, ready to be arrested,” he explained.”
Are we seeing the continuation of the Jewish
revolt that may swell into placing the “facts on the ground” as stating that
Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, and the “Mountains of Israel” are all G-d’s Holy
Land. Will there become a day in which the Jewish people will arise and affirm
their destiny of acceptance by the G-d of Israel and state that their actions
in promoting the days of redemptions to come, now, is part of the ancient call
of the Vilna Gaon to his disciples, that they must move to the Land of Israel
and begin to establish the presence of the Jewish there and in Jerusalem before
the “days of the messiah” will actually come to the Land of Israel.
Apparently the call to the Jewish people to
protest their denial of rights to the Temple Mount resulted in a Knesset debate
on Sunday, August 10, but a representative of the Netanyahu government did not
attend the debate concerning the policies of the Jewish government concerning
the Temple Mount. This left for the Knesset MKs plus the Temple activist in a
quandary on how the government will handle the coming High Holidays of Judaism
over Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Succot within the next six weeks. Neither
was it addressed why the Jews were forbidden to enter the Temple Mount during a
majority of the days during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
In the Israel National News article titled, “Government refuses to Clarify Position on Temple Mount
Discrimination”, the debate did begin
in the Israeli Knesset. It was kicked off by the Chairman of the Fund for the
Temple Mount, Yehuda Glick, who described to the rest of the MKs attending of
what had been done this years to the Jewish people during the month of Ramadan.
He stated that the Jews were barred from entering the Temple Mount for a full
21 days, rather than just the days of the Eid al-Fitr period of time as had
traditionally been done in past years. He went on to account that the Jerusalem
police were not making adequate provisions including riot training in
preparation for the coming High Holidays of the Jews in September, the month of
Tishrei.
Since 1967, when control but not sovereignty
right to the Temple Mount was given to the Islamic Trust called the Waqf, and
also amidst the increasing threats of Islamist groups who inhabit the Temple
Mount almost continuously 24/7, the Israeli police in Jerusalem have
circumvented several Israeli court decisions to uphold the freedom of worship
to all peoples in Jerusalem, by forbidding at time but allowing Christians to
ascend the Temple Mount yet at the same time forbidding Jews.
They have become more emboldened to ban
individual activists such as Jewish MK Moshe Feiglin and to make blanket
prohibitions on Jewish people from ascending at all. In a more emboldened way,
the religious Jews who are usually identified by wearing a kippah are followed
very closely by the Israeli police and the ever present Waqf guards who are
watching closely for anyone moving their lips as in prayer, or performing any
form of the appearance of a religious ritual.
The Jewish MKs including MKs Nissim Ze'ev (Shas), Orit Struk (Bayit
Yehudi) and David Tzur (Hatnua) stated that they did agreed that the Office of
the Prime Minister's Office was the responsible government body that should be
taking charge of the policy formation on the “Ascent to the Temple Mount”. It
was the prime minister and his representatives who were responsible to clarify
this policy.
According to Col. Moshe Bareket, Commander of the Israel Police's
David Precinct, which includes the Mount, he denied that policy regarding the
entrance of Jews to the Mount during Ramadan had changed but actually changed
over two years ago when the Israeli government in order to appease the Muslim
populations eased the restrictions as to how many Muslims would be allowed to
enter the Temple Mount during their holiday of Ramadan in comparison to
previous years. Today, this appeasement has led to outright domination of the
Muslim peoples on the Temple Mount for the enter month of Ramadan in which
hundreds of thousands of them ascend the Mount on Fridays and tens of thousands
on weekdays.
As such the Jewish people have been banned from entering the Mount on
their holiday of Tisha B’Av, mourning the destruction of both the
Temples of Solomon and Herod on that day. They have also banned all Jewish
presence on the last ten days of Ramadan which were called by the police as
“especially sensitive days.” He did affirm that the police were making every
provision that the Jewish people would be allowed to ascend upon the Temple
Mount during the 2013 High Holidays.
The only MKs to provide support to the
Jerusalem Police and their policy making were MK Dov Khanin of the Hadash, a leftish Jewish and Arab
socialist party which is in defense of the complete Palestinian rights to the
West Bank, denial of all Jewish right to the biblical homeland of the Jewish
and the Lost Israelites ancestral peoples, who first arose from the Black
Panthers and the early Israeli Communist Party.
It was MK Dov Khanin who stated that “the police were
justified in blocking Jews from entering the Mount since the status quo is that
Jews pray at the Kotel and Muslims pray on the Mount. Breaking the status quo
could damage the diplomatic process with the Palestinian Authority.”
Then there was MK Tamar Zendberg of the leftist Meretz
Party who stated that “freedom of worship for all religions must be granted,
and that this freedom stems from a belief in human rights and at the same time,
stated that the current “peace process” will lead to a desirable result while
with the Jewish populous; 62% of the Jewish voters now disagree.
The Knesset debate was closed by Israeli MK Miri Regev
who protested as her new position as the head of the Knesset Interior Committee
to advance the right of Jews to pray atop Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, that the
Israeli Prime Minister’s office’s failure to show up to the debate, they were now
impelled to rethink its decision. The next time the committee convenes to
discuss the subject of the religious rights of the Jewish people, the prime
minister’s must state their opinions or objections to the fact that the Jewish
people must have access to the Temple Mount; and by law of the land, have equal
rights to the freedom of religious expression on the Temple Mount.

and control of the all Jerusalem (1967-2017), as predicted 16 Jubilees earlier,

the Jubilee year of his death in 1217 CE; “Jerusalem will once again come back
into the possession of the Jewish nation – which will signify the beginning of
the Messianic end time.”

The revolt
of the Jews with the Zealots continued to grow
stronger but in the end, it led to the destruction of Jerusalem and the Holy
Temple that was recognized to be the largest and most opulent temple in the
Roman Empire. All hope appeared to be
gone. The Essenes whose geo-political role was to preserve the
dynastic lineage of Kings David and Solomondisappeared
from mists of history, yet the hope of the restoration of the throne of King
David, continued to rise and fall over the next two thousand years as
documented in the Jerry Rabow’s book titled, “50 Jewish Messiahs” who sought
to claim again that era of glory when the majesty of G-d and His Sh’khinah
rested daily upon His Temple in Jerusalem with great and powerful manifestations
of miracles.
It took the destruction of
Jerusalem and its glorious Temple of King Herod, to
resurrect within the hearts of the Jewish sages, the
guardians of the Oral Torah, to begin rethinking
about what were to become the fulfilling events that would transport this world
into the final seven years before the final redemption of this earth; this time
united under one of King David and Solomon’s descendants; “David son of
David.”
To understand this history is paramount to
any understanding of the final redemption, for it was the Jewish rabbanim who
had the primary documents preserved in Hebrew of the ancient prophetic texts,
that were later worked-over and corrupted by the Roman Christian historical
revisionists in the 4th century CE and later the Islamic
redactionists in the Ha-diths
of their Prophet Mohammed in the 7th century.
Yet for almost two thousand years, the Jewish people have weekly prayed the
fourteenth blessing of the Shemoneh Esreh (Eighteen Blessings) which states:

servant in its midst. Rebuild it as an eternal edifice, speedily, in our days.

In the Talmudic section called the Sanhedrin 97b, we can
document one of the great disputes between two of the illustrious rabbis who
lives arose out of the ashes of the pyre of the destruction of Jerusalem and
the Holy Temple of Herod in 70 CE. They were close friends, yet represented two
different schools of halakhic understanding that reigned supreme in Judaism
from the 1st century BCE to the fall of Jerusalem; Beit
Hillel or the rabbinic
yeshiva of Hillel
the Great and Beit
Shammai, the rabbinic yeshiva of
Shammai the Great.
The ancient Jewish rabbis have spoken adequately on this
subject when they have declared at the time of the end two possible redemption
scenarios will unfold. The first
redemption scenario is that at the end of days, redemption will come very
speedily but it will be predicated upon one condition; that Israel, that is
“Klal Yisrael” which includes the Jews of the House of Judah and the Lost Ten
Tribes of the House of Israel will return in teshuvah (willingly and of their
own free will). If they will, they will
be redeemed.
It was Rav Sa’adyah ben Yosef Gaon who was born in Egypt about the year of 882 CE and died
in Baghdad in 942 CE who became a very prominent rabbi, Jewish philosopher and
exegete of the Geonic period of Jewish history.
He was also the first rabbi to write extensively in Arabic, and today is
considered the founder of the Judeo-Arabic literature. Rav Sa’adyah Gaon wrote
in the Emunot VeDeyot 8:2 the following:
Rav
Saadyah Gaon – “We believe that HaShem has established two possible types of
ends to our exile, one through teshuvah
and the other a fixed-time [beyond which the concealment of His providence will
not extend.]”
The first potential redemption is called “ahishena” which will be represented by
the Maschiach ben Dovid (Messiah son of David) which means through G-d’s words,
that “I will accelerate it (redemption)” speedily. Yet there are predications that
must exist for this swift redemption to occur.
This redemption will come speedily to the
Jews if they return in covenant to HaShem, the G-d of Israel on their own
will. In other words, the G-d of Israel
is waiting for the Jewish people in Israel to take spiritual leadership to
reclaim not only Jerusalem, but all the Land of Israel including the “mountains
of Israel” or what is called the “West Bank” which the international world
disputes today yet truly belongs to the Jewish people and the sovereign State
of Israel.
The “Saadyah Gaon” also implied that this was
not limited to the Jews but to “Israel” which also carries the meaning “Klal
Yisrael” or “All Israel”. This includes not just the Jewish people of the House
of Judah living in the Land of Israel and the Diaspora but also the Lost Ten
Tribes of the House of Israel that were exiled due to their rebelliousness
against HaShem, the G-d of Israel 3,700 years ago.
According to the Prophet Ezekiel and his
prophesy in Ezekiel 36, the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel will not be
redeemed because they are genetic Israelites, nor because they have honored
“G-d’s Holy Name” throughout history. They will be redeemed by HaShem, the G-d
of Israel has chosen that fact of divine intervention to become a literal fact
in human history.
He, the G-d of Creation and the L-rd of
hosts, will at the “end of days” choose to “Honor His Holy Name” which the Lost
Ten-Tribed Israel have failed to do to this day, and redeem them. He promised
through his chosen prophets that He will send His spirit to make the
transformations possible that such a spiritual elevation of consciousness will
only be predicated upon His divine power and Divine will.
So what is the caveat? We must be willing to
rectify our wayward ways, and in teshuvah
(repentance) be willing to reunite with our lives with our brothers, the Jewish
people living anywhere in the world and assist them in the reclamation,
redemptions and restoration of the Land of Israel and so “Klal Yisrael” that is
“All 12-tribed Israel” will be saved. Here are the words as the Holy One of
Israel spoke through Ezekiel the prophet:
Ezekiel 36:16-22,
24-28, 33 (parts) - “The word of Adonai came to me: ‘Human being, when the house of Isra’el lived in their own land, they defiled it by the manner of life and their actions; their way before me was like the uncleanness of niddah (menstruation).
Therefore I poured out my fury on them, because of the blood
they had shed in the land and
because they defiled it with their idols.
I scattered them among the nations and dispersed them throughout the countries. I judged them in keeping with
their manner of life and actions. When
they came to the nations they
were going to, they profaned my holy
name so that people said of them
‘These are Adonai’s people, who have been exiled from his land.’ But I am concerned about my holy name, which the house of Isra’el is profaning among the
nations where they have gone.
Therefore, tell the house of (the Ten Lost Tribes of ) Isra’el that Adonai Elohim (L-rd G-d) says this: I am not going to do this for your sake, house of
Isra’el, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have been profaning among the nations where you went.
I will set apart my great name to be regarded
as holy, since it has been profaned in the nations – you profaned it among them. They
will know that I am Adonai,’
says Adonai Elohim, ‘when, before their eyes, I am set apart through you
to be regarded as holy.
For I will take you from among the nations, gather
you from all countries, and return you to
your own soil. Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you…I will cleanse you
from your uncleanliness…I will
give you a new heart and put a new spirit inside your…
You will live in the land I gave to your
ancestors. You will be
my people, and I will be your
G-d…When the day comes for me to cleanse you from all your guilt, I will cause cities to
be inhabited and the ruins to be rebuilt. The land that was desolate will be tilled, whereas formerly it lay desolate for all passing by to see. They will say, ‘the land that used to be desolate has become like Gan Eden (Garden of Eden)…Then the nations around that remain
will know that I, Adonai, have
rebuilt the ruins and replanted what was abandoned. I, Adonai,
have spoke; and I will do
it!”
When we look over the political and spiritual
landscape in the Land of Israel, we find the political winds of the international
world prepared to consume the Jewish people’s hope for a land that they can
call their own and not predicated upon any other countries political aims or
personal fortunes. The Jewish Orthodox
have diligently kept their covenant with the G-d of Israel, but their dreams to
retain the biblical heartland of Israel where their forefathers, Abraham, Isaac
and Jacob live, raised their families and there they chose a covenant with the
G-d of Israel under the condition that this land would be their land for all
generations; forever.
Now this land, while it was a forgotten,
unclaimed, and desolated land wanted by one other peoples or nations on earth,
was dropped into their hands, when they became victorious against Muslim
military forces who for the second time, were seeking to drive the Jewish
people, newly redeemed from the German Nazi Holocaust, now into the genocidal
sea of annihilation.
History has recorded the obvious in the 1967
Three-day War. The Jewish people won the war. They took control of the land,
and in a great gesture of friendship, made this land a land where all the
people could have the freedom of religion, whether, Jewish, Christian or Islam,
to worship as they wish.
Yet family jealousy between the ancient
houses of Isaac and Ishmael, brought a people wanting total possession now of a
land that formerly no one wanted, to becoming a land in which the entire
international world has become a hotbed of contention, yet who are the
contenders. If we look closely, it is Northern Europe, where the Lost Ten
Tribes of the House of Israel have lived for over two thousand years, the
United States, also the descendants of Great Britain and Northern Europe, the
Ishmaelites from the loins of Isaac’s foster brother, and Edom, the descendants
of Esau, the brother of Jacob who relinquished his spiritual inheritance and
now represented by Rome, the spiritual mentor predominately of Southern Europe
including realms controlled by the ancient Roman Empire.
We say wow, how will the G-d of Israel sort
all of these vagrancies out? What will it take to bring a righteous conclusion
to this hotbed of family intrigue, violence, deception that has captivated and
controlled the entire world for so many centuries?
Surprisingly the ancient sages of Judah were
forced, as they watched the holy city of Jerusalem collapsing internally into a
hotbed of civil war inside, while the Roman forces under the command of the
Roman general Vespasian waited outside their own self destruction.
In this era of great crisis, there rose
inside Jerusalem some of the most righteous men of Judaism who with great
prayers and reverence for the holiness of Jerusalem and Judaism, had to make
preparation for the ultimate destruction not only of Jerusalem but the entire
Holy Temple of King Herod. It was during
this era that Rabbi
Eliezer ben Hurcanus, a Kohen as a
priest, arrived in Jerusalem and became a student of the famed Rabbi Johanan
ben Zakkai. Here Rabbi Eliezer married
the sister of Rabban
Gamaliel II; Imma Shalom.
As he was studying in the yeshiva called Beit
Zakkai, during the last years before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE by
the Roman forces under the command of the Roman commander, Vespasian, his life
was forced to be transformed into a revolutionary new direction. Earlier Rabbi
Eliezer had chosen to leave his family business interests and was almost
disinherited yet, he chose to devote his life to the study of Torah. He entered
the most elite yeshivas in Jerusalem, that of the famed Rabbi
Johanan ben Zakkai, one of Rabbi Hillel
the Great’s most famous student from Beit Hillel. It was Rabbi Johanan ben
Zakkai though who comprehended the receptive and intensive mind of Rabbi
Eliezar when he called him a “cemented cistern that loses not a drop.”
During the last days of the Jewish world in
the Roman Province of Judea that was descending into destruction, Rabbi Eliezer
was studying diligently even with great privation to comprehend the great
mysteries in the covenant with HaShem, the G-d of Israel. Even faced with
eventually inheriting the entire wealth of his father, he chose a life of
reclusive study and meditation while the forces of Rome descended down upon
Jerusalem.
As the siege of Rome began to take its toll,
and the end of days was now at hand, it was R. Eliezer with his ever present
friend and Torah study companion, Rabbi
Yehoshua ben Hananiah, who in a daring
commando like mission, placed their Torah mentor and sage, Rabbi Johanan ben
Zakkai into a casket as though dead, took it outside the gates of Jerusalem to
be buried, yet instead headed to the Roman siege camp of the Roman commander, General
Vespasian.
During the Roman siege, Rabbi Johanan ben
Zakkai had argued in favor of peace, yet when the rabble of Jerusalem
became unbearable, he made the daring escape with his two must trusted
students, Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbi Yehoshua and went to negotiate
with the Vespasian. In the midst of the
negotiations, Yochanan correctly predicted that Vespasian would become the next
Emperor of Rome, and that Jerusalem and the Temple of King Herod would be
destroyed.
In response to the prophetic implications of this holy man of G-d,
Vespasian gave Rabbi Zakkai three wishes; the safe haven of Yavne-el mountain
range in Galilee to become a new home for the remaining sages of Judah and to
establish there a new Jewish Sanhedrin, the safety of the Jewish sages including
the descendants of Rabban Gamliel II, the head of the Jewish body of Torah Law,
who was the great-grandson of the Davidian prince and Jewish Nasi of the
Great Sanhedrin in Jerusalem, Rabbi Hillel the Great, and a physician to treat Rabbi Tzadok, who for 40 years
had been fasting to prevent the destruction of Jerusalem.
It was only days after Rabbi Johanan ben
Zakkai’s encounter with Vespasian, when the word came from Rome that in the
aftermath of the suicide of the Roman Emperor Nero, and the year long civil war
that ensued in 69 CE, known as the Year of the Four Emperors, that Vespasian
was declared by the armies in Egypt and Judea to be the new emperor of Rome. He
turned the military command of the Roman forces at Jerusalem to his son, Titus,
and with the defeat of Vitellius was declared by the Roman Senate to be the
Emperor of Rome on December 21, 69 CE.
With the demise of the Julio-Claudian
dynasty, the destruction of the Jewish revolt in Judea and the city of
Jerusalem and her Holy Temple, Vespasian went on to start the ambitious project
that no doubt with Jewish prisoner labor, rose upon the Roman landscape as the
Roman Collosseum.
Out of the ashes of the Temple’s destruction,
there arose again the first major reformation of Judaism since the days of Ezra
the Scribe when the Jewish people first moved back to Jerusalem following their
Babylonian and Persian captivity. With
the brilliance of the Oral Law, on how to adapt a “life in the wilderness”
without a temple, they learned how to remain true to the halakhic commands of
the Torah, the “blueprint of life” which the G-d of Israel had given to them on
the mount called Sinai, 2,200 years earlier, when Israel became a nation.
Rabbi Eliazer went to Yavne (Latanized to
Jamnia), and there became a noted member of the Jewish Sanhedrin under the rule
of the Nasi Rabban Gamaliel II, his brother-in-law. Later, he established his
own yeshiva (academy) at Lydda. His fame spread around the world. According to
his mentor, Rav Johanan be Zakkai, “Eliezer was unequaled as an expositor of
traditional law.
The importance of knowing about the
transition era after Temple of Herod era Judaism and the holocaust of the
Jewish people that were scattered all around the Roman Empire is the
comprehension of what was most important on their minds, their greatest
aspirations, and their dreams for the salvation of the Jewish people in the
future. Here we begin to discover that, they did not just look at themselves
but were searching unknowns to themselves two thousand years in their future,
and what will it take for the G-d of Israel to bring the cycles of exiles and
redemptions to a close, in what they called the “world to come.” In a sense they were very messianic for in 70
CE, they began to dream of the Jewish messiah and what it would take to bring
the future messianic era to a full reality.
Among Rabbi Eliazer’s students and not doubt
his most famous was “Rabbi
Akiva” ben Yosef who in the 2nd
century era of the tannaitic
generation, became one of the leading contributors of the Mishnah and the
Midrash Halakha whereupon in the Talmud, Rabbi Akiva was known as the “Rosh la-Chachamin” (Head of all the Sages).
Here we are meeting the greatest sages of the
Tannaim in the 2nd generation, that were the rabbinic sages who were
in the transition from the Temple of Herod era to the post-Jerusalem and
Herod’s Temple destruction era when all the Jews were cast out of Jerusalem and
millions lost their lives. Rabbi Johanan ben Zaccai, who died ten years after
his famous meeting with Vespasian, was the sage of the 1st
generation Tannaim.
The Tanna were known as the teachers of Oral Torah Law. It
was the who became the editors and composers of what we can read in the Jewish
Mishnah today and from their loins was the preservation of the Jewish Torah
Law, the Hebrew TaNaKh and the entire traditions of the sages of the Oral Law
from Moses to Ezra to Rabbi Johanan ben Zaccai.
Over the 210 years years called
the Mishnaic Periods from 10-220 CE. Over 120 Jewish sages left their
dedication for the posterity of Judaism today. Let us look at the legal
arguments of what the G-d of Israel is expecting of us to be fully a part of the
path of redemption into the “World to Come!” To do so, we will do, we go back
two thousand years, when Rabbi Johanan ben Zakkai, Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbi
Yehoshua were alive a part of the dynamic conversations of salvation and
redemption in 1st century Roman Judea.
Rabbi
Eliezar – “If Israel return in teshuvah (willingly and of their own free will),
they will be redeemed. It they do not (return willingly), they will not be
redeemed! It is thus written, ‘Return, you backsliding ones, and I will heal
your backsliding (Jeremiah 3:22) [ie., if they repent, Hew will heal them; if
not, He will not].”
The
second potential redemption is called “bi’etah”
which will be represented by the Maschiach ben Yosef (Messiah son of Joseph)
which means in HaShem’s words that He will bring redemption “in its due time…”
How the final redemption unfolds will be
dependent upon how the Jewish people who today control Jerusalem and live in
the Land of Israel choose to manifest their future destiny. Will they continue
to allow America and Europe to control their own physical and spiritual destiny
or will they come, like the Knesset MK Moshe Feiglin has called out this past
week, that “enough is enough” and that the Jewish people and their political
leaders both in the Knesset and the Israeli Supreme Court have a divine destiny
to rise and claim their own sovereign rights to all the Land of Israel as was
given to their ancestral forefathers; Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but also the
Land of Israel. This was the land called “Greater Israel” that was controlled
by Kings David and Solomon from “Sea to Sea” or from the Mediterranean Sea to
the Red Sea.
Yet, this uprising may also come in the most
surprising of places. A large part of Jewry still lives in the diaspora or
outside the Land of Israel today. Looking at the population of
Jewish peoples in the world today, we learn that
13,746,100 Jews were living in the world in 2012. There were 5,901,100 Jews (42.9%) living in
the State of Israel and 5,425,000 Jews (39.5%) were living in the United
States.
As the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel,
we are only beginning to come to our own spiritual and physical identity. We
also are only beginning to identify with our brothers and sisters, the Jewish
people, for we, as the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel have truly been lost
for 2,700 years. Yet for 1,700 of those years, we have been spiritually
wandering since the days of Constantine the Great and the Council of Nicea in a
semi-pagan religious world that was truly stolen from the ancient Orthodox
Jews, divorced from their Torah philosophical foundation, transformed and
morphed upon the ancient Greco-Roman philosophical base and all Protestants
Christians today, are still beholden to their Roman Christian roots. Truly we
are in the “halfway house” of Roman Christianity. It’s time to return home.
There will come a day, when the Christian
Lost Israelites will choose also to move on and return to the spiritual and
religious heritage as lived also by their ancestral forefathers; the Patriarchs
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who lived, in the “mountains of Israel in Shomron
and Judea”. Soon they will also join their brothers of the House of Judah in
fellowship as religious Orthodox Jews in Judaism. This is a fact of true Jewish
understanding. To do so, we either have to sort out the corruption of Roman
Christianity or in a faster transition, jump right in, attend an Orthodox
Jewish Synagogue, give up your old way of life, and become part of the Jewish
culture today.
While this grand spiritual movement is being
raised up by the Spirit of the Divine, the international world today is
twisting the arms of the Netanyahu government to give away the “Mountains of
Israel”, the tribal lands of the Lost Ten Tribes in Shomron (ancient Samaria)
and the “Wilderness of Judea” the tribal lands of the ancient Southern Kingdom
of Judea.
Yet, there is no doubt that returning to G-d
willingly (ahishena) will also be
dependent upon the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, most of which are today
identified as Christians who are willing to join hands in brotherhood with the
Jews of the House of Judah. To accomplish this, we have no mission to change
Judaism, but to return to the religion of the Jewish Nazarene, Rabbi Yehoshua
(Jesus), who was a Prince of David, and also a Haredi Ultra-Orthodox Jewish
rabbi, who kept all the festivals of the L-rd, worshipped in the Jewish
synagogues, identified and defended the halakhah of Beit Hillel. To those who
wished to be his disciples, he had only one response, “If you wish to be my
disciple, “Follow Me!” This meant, “do
as I do, pray like I pray, worship like I worship, celebrate the festival like
I celebrate the festivals, and live a halakhic pure life in worship of the One
G-d of Israel, just as I do!”
The messiah of the future will also be the
messiah who will return to Jerusalem, not Rome, or any other Protestant Church
headquarters. He will be revealed to the Gedolei Yisroel, “Holy Ones of Israel”
and when he proves that his halakhah is “true” in one with the halakhah of the
Mosaic Torah, he will be accepted by the Jewish rabbanim and we will accept him
also as our messiah.
There is no doubt that we must be willing to
resist the uprising tide of evil that has laid a dark cloud and shadow upon the
“lands of our dwelling” in North America, Europe and the colonies of the 17th
to the 19th century the Northern European countries whose first
immigrants were from the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel. As we read the
following debate on the return of the messiah by the great rabbinic sages of
Judaism, we must also comprehending, they were debating these grand themes of
redemption almost 2,000 years ago. And we think our understanding is so true?
Let us now read the following debate between the two disciples of Rabbi
Johanan ben Zakkai knowing today that “Israel” means all the descendants of the
Children of Israel; the Jews of the House of Judah and the Lost Ten Tribes of
the House of Israel, or Klal Yisrael (All Israel):
Rabbi
Eliezar ben Hyrcanus – “If Israel returns in teshuvah (repentance) [willingly
and of their own free will), they will be redeemed. If they do not [return willingly), they will
not be redeemed!”
Rabbi
Yehoshua argued, “If they do not return in teshuvah (willingly and of their own
free will), the will not be redeemed? [How can you say such a thing!] Rather,
[to insure that they be redeemed, the Holy One blessed-be-He will raise up a
king whose decrees are as harsh as Haman’s – such that they will surely return
in teshuvah – and He will thereby bring them back to the correct path.”
Here we witness the first of the great debates just after
the destruction of Jerusalem that occurred within the halls of the Great
Sanhedrin that was now relocated at Yavne near Galilee. The well thought out concepts of the future
messiah were already part of the Oral Traditions for over 500 years, since the
days of Ezra the Scribe in the post Babylonian and Persian exile era. These
concepts were centered on the future Twin Messiahs were called the “Trees Mesheekeem”; the “Maschiach ben
Yosef” (Messiah son of Joseph) and the “Maschiach ben Dovid” (Messiah son of
David). Here is how they see these two disciples then and today.
Maschiach
ben Yoseph will arise in the
Land of Galilee at the time in history called, “bi’etah” or “In its due time…” where teshuvah (repentance) will come in the face of great catastrophes
and calamities because up to that time the G-d of Israel will state that “they
are not worthy”. This will be looked
upon as the era when the final events at the time of the end will appear to be
following the exceedingly slow natural course of events as witnessed in
the history of mankind. This Messiah will appear as the “lowly Messiah,
riding upon a donkey.”
Maschiach
be Dovid on the other hand
will arrive in the Land of Israel at the later time in history which the
prophets stated in HaShem’s words; “ahishena”
or “I will accelerate it (redemption)” where in the final course of
earth’s history the Jews and the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel will come
in teshuvah (repentance) willingly. Why? Because they will come because “they
are worthy of redemption”. These days will speedily come as if it were with
great miracles and will be manifested as coming “with the clouds of heaven”
with “great power and glory”.
In the Talmud we then cite late another conversation
between these two great rabbis as they each again clarify their former
positions in the debate but this time bringing with them the proofs from the
Prophets.
Rabbi
Eliezar ben Hyrcanus – “If Israel returns in teshuvah (willing and of their own free will), they will be
redeemed. If they do not (return willingly), they will not be redeemed! It is
thus written, ‘Return, you backsliding ones, and I will heal your backsliding’
(Jeremiah 3:22) [i.e., if they repent, He will heal them; if not, He will
not).”
Rabbi
Yehoshua argued, “But it is written elsewhere, ‘You were sold [into exile] for
nothing, and without money you shall be redeemed’ (Isaiah 52:3). The first clause, ‘you were sold for nothing’
alludes to the fact that Israel was exiled because they worshipped idols which
are worth nothing; the second clause ‘and without money you shall be redeemed’
indicated that they will be redeemed even without teshuvah or good deeds!”
The Valley of
Yavneh-el nearby to Lake Kinneret (Galilee)
It appears that the process of “teshuvah”, that is coming to repentance is not just a human led
experience and redirection of our lives today, but Divine directed movement
empowered and guided by the finger of the Divine. As G-d stirs the nations and
produces chaos in their lives, his “lost but chosen children” that have been
imbedded within those nations, will be resurrected like the Jewish people were
resurrected out of the holocaust of Nazi Germany.
Our “dry bones” that will be
resurrected (Ezekiel 37) will also be a “Johnny come lately” experience of the
Lost Ten Tribes who suddenly realize that they are being impelled by the power
and might of the G-d of Israel, and there is now only one way home. In other
words, the nations of the world will “spew us out of their mouth” and say, “its
time for your to go home!” that now is the time to fully return to the G-d of
Israel and say, “HaShem, I repent, take me as I am and transform my life as the
one in which you have created me to be!”
Here we witness the great power of the Divine, that will
uplift us in an ascended state of spiritual consciousness that we could not
achieve by ourselves alone without the guidance and the assistance of the Divine.
So, these two great sages of Judah continued in the discussion:
Rabbi
Eliezar ben Hyracanus answered – “But it is written, ‘Return to Me, and I will
return to you’ (Malkhi 3:7).” [This seems to indicate that Israel must first
willingly return to HaShem, and only then will HaShem return to them, i.e.,
redeem them.]”
Rabbi
Yehoshua argued – “But, again, it is written elsewhere, ‘For [at that time] I
will reveal Myself as your Master, and I will take you, one from a city and two
from a family, and I will bring you to Zion!’ (Jeremiah 3:14).” [This indicates
that HaShem will bring the redemption even if they have not returned of their
own accord. Rather, HaShem will force them to return by subjecting them to
terrible calamities. In the end, He will bring the remnant (’one from a city
and two from a family’) to Zion.]…”
Later the rabbinic debate between these two Jewish sages
went for the last time, this time using further proofs from the prophets of
Judah:
Rabbi
Eliezar ben Hyracanus answered – “But it is written, ‘If you return, Israel, to
Me you shall return’ (Jeremiah 4:1). [The word ‘if’ seems to imply that it is
questionable whether they will return of their own accord.]
Rabbi
Yehoshua argued, “But it is written, ‘I heard the man clothed in linen (i.e.,
the angel Gavriel)…He lifted his right hand and his left hand heavenward, and
he swore by the Life of the Word, that, in a time, times, and a
half a time, when the power of
the people will have ceased [i.e., when Israel will no longer be able to
maintain its identity in exile], these [troubles] will cease…(Daniel 12:7).”
[But
making this time-dependent (‘in a time, times, and a half a time’), Rabbi
Yehoshua refutes Rabbi Eliezer’s claim that there is no fixed-time for the
Redemption, and that it is solely contingent upon Israel’s return to HaShem.]”
Rabbi Eliezer was silent. He agreed or acquiesced that
the Redemption is not contingent upon Israel’s free-willed return to HaShem.]
Are you ready to come
to the G-d of Israel in repentance, and say, “HaShem, You are the Master of the
Universe, I yield my will to You?”

In the light of the new
revelations that King David and Solomon had also a second fortressed palace at
Khirbet Qeiyafa about fifteen miles to the west of Jerusalem along the militarized
border against the Philistines, we have to come to a new reality. The
archeologist minimalists continue to denounce these archeological treasures and
claim that they come from other cultures and civilizations. Yet, the day is
coming that the G-d of Israel has promised that He will reveal to us a
“messiah” that will be a Prince of David, that will come from the very literal
genetic loins of King David.
What the artist failed
to conceive was that the City of David looked down upon virgin forests in the
surrounding mountainous hills surrounding Jerusalem for Jerusalem in 1000 BCE.
This land was the breast basket of the Roman Empire and rich in the abundant in
the fauna and trees of a land of plenty.
The modern depiction of
a barren wasteland surrounding Jerusalem came when the Roman forces under
Titus, now the victors with Jerusalem destroyed and the magnificent Temple of
King Herod disassembled the block by block down to bedrock. After that, the
Romans cut down every tree within twenty miles of Jerusalem in 71 CE, to make a
wooden palisade around the city walls. Then the land was salted to prevent any
forest from growing back from native seeds in the region.

Some of these trees,
including the immense forests of cedars, some over 1000 years old which the
Jews had planted and nurtured through all the centuries were wasted in order to
prevent any Jews, upon the pain of death, to return to the land of their
forefathers for now they were permanently exiled from Jerusalem, the capital of
their former homeland.
Yet the trees and the
lush terrain again return to G-d’s Zion, only to again be denuded by the
Ottoman Empire who ruled the entire Middle East for eight Jubilees from the
years of 1517 to 1917, when the British forces under the command of General
Allenby took control of the city of Jerusalem and the Ottoman Empire within six
months was history.
During the 400 years
under the harsh rule of the Ottoman Turks, the land of Roman Palestine,
dedicated by the League of Nations in its entirety to be the new homeland for
the Jewish people, was only populated sparsely by the Arabs and the Bedouins
nomads. By the 17th century
the land now owned by absentee owners was now being leased out to tenant
farmers impoverished by their harsh Ottoman overlords.

The region was poorly
cultivated and the tenants allowed the expanse of forest lands to become
denuded and transformed back into eroding hills, sandy deserts, and malarial
infested marshland. The ancient terraces and irrigation systems were abandoned
as the remaining towns and villages were progressively abandoned. The remainder
of the agricultural land became like the remaining forests, destroyed by the crippling
taxation of the Ottomans, so the remaining Arabs living in the region cut down
the forests to pay the taxes in order to fuel the wood burning steam engines
that carried goods for the Turkish Empire from Istanbul to Beirut, over to
Damascus and then down to Cairo. The glorious city of Jerusalem, once the
capital of the greatest empire in the world lay abandoned almost disappearing
from the world populations except from the hearts of the Jews who daily prayed;
“someday in Jerusalem.”
The wasting fauna and
the trees now stripped down made this region a virtual wasteland by the 18th
century. The great forests that surrounded the Sea of Galilee and ranged over
to the mountainous region in Carmel were stripped to the ground. The desert and
the swamps encroached upon the disappearing farms and terraced orchard
vineyards and groves when in the year of 1967, Mark Twain visited Palestine and
there he described this region the following:
Mark Twain – “A desolate country whose
soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeks – a silent mournful
expanse…We never saw a human being on the whole route…There hardly a tree or a
shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of a
worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”
Forty seven years later
in 1913, the Palestine Royal Commission by the British quoted an account of the
condition of the Coastal Plains along the Mediterranean Sea:
Palestine Royal Commission – “The road leading from Gaza
to the north was only a summer track suitable for transport by camels and
carts…[there were] no orange groves, orchards or vineyards to be seen until one
reached Yavne Village…houses were all of mud.
Schools did not exist…the western part, towards the sea was almost a
desert…The villages in this area were few and thinly populated…many villages
were deserted by their inhabitants.”
So the desolated land of
Israel, first destroyed by the Roman forces after the dreadful siege of the
city which left hundreds of thousands dying of disease and hunger, now
witnessed upon the mountains of Israel from Galilee to Jerusalem some one
hundred thousand Jewish resistant forces that were crucified by the Romans upon
forests of crosses dotted also the mountains surrounding Jerusalem.
The last of the
resistant forces under Eliezer upon the immense craggily mountainous fortress
of King Herod at Masada met their fate when 960 of them, men, women and
children suicide their lives rather than be enslaved or crucified by the
Romans. Then in 133 CE, after the Second Jewish Revolt, the Roman Emperor Hadrian
destroyed what was left of the Roman Province of Judea and in a deliberate
insult to the Jewish survivors, renamed the Jewish homeland, Palestina. This
was in memory of the nemesis of King Saul, the Philistines; the long extinct
biblical enemies of the Jews in the days of Kings Saul, David and Solomon.
To gain a complete
understanding of the imperial rise of the United Kingdom of Kings David and
Solomon, the Davidian
palace at Khirbet Qeiyafa must be evaluated in the context of the King David’s
palace in Jerusalem. Here upon the ridge overlooking the Kidron Valley to the
east, the Palace of King David was constructed, lost, and then rediscovered
when excavations began there in the year of 2005 by the Israeli archeologist
Eilat Mazar. This palace stood just to the southeast of the Western Wall where
the Jews daily go to pray for the rebuilding of the Temple of the L-rd and the
return of the Maschiah ben Dovid (Messiah son of David).
It was in the year of
1997 that Eilat Mazar seeking clues to the site of the Jerusalem Palace of King
David used the reference in II Samuel 5:17 to give evidence as to where its
location could be.
II Samuel 5:9-17 – “David
settled in the fortress and called it, “The City of David.” David built around [the city], from the Millo
and inward. David kept becoming greater, and HaShem, the G-d of Legions, was
with him.
Hiram, king of Tyre, sent a delegation to David, with
cedar word, and carpenters, and mason of wall-stones, and they built a palace
for David. David realized that HaShem had established him as king over Israel
and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.
The Philistines heard that [all the tribes] had anointed
David as king over Israel, so all the Philistines came up to seek out David. David
heard and went down to the fortress”
The Millo, according to
the sages if Judah was an open place, which Rashi called a “landfill” and
Radak, called an open plaza for large gatherings and Abarbanel called a moat.
Looking upwards from the Kidron Valley, we can now understand that all of these
descriptions were correct for looking down upon the Kidron Valley from the
palace balcony to the northeast toward the Mount of Olives (second picture of
this article”, we can perceive 3,000 years ago, an open plain where the people
of Jerusalem could congregate beneath the palace of King David.
Looking up towards the
terraced retaining wall outside the palace of King David, called the “Stepped
Stone Structure” we can again perceive the magnificent view that King David
had, looking down upon the forested hills surrounding the city of Jerusalem;
then called the “City of David.”

Beginning in the year of
2005, in February, Eilat Mazar began an excavation in the only area higher than
the elevation of the Ophel which sits over the Gihon Springs in the oldest
regions of the City of David. It took
the first months of the excavations to discover that only two meters below the
topsoil were the ruins from the 4th to the 6th century
Byzantine Era. Here artifacts were discovered such as well preserved mosaic
floor.
Down beneath were
artifacts from the Second Temple Era of King Herod in the 1st
century BCE and then underneath they came upon the large foundations of a
structure of substantial size which she claims is the Palace of King David. Today
it is called the “Large
Stone Structure.”
Significant relics and
remains had already been discovered three decades earlier to this site later
identified as the King David’s Palace in Jerusalem. Two of these discoveries
were bullae called “seals” that were embossed clay and fired hard, maybe from
the burning destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians, to become the legal
signatures of those whose name was imbedded upon them.
First there was the Seal of “Berechyahu, the son of
Neriyahu, the Scribe
One of these seals was
purportedly discovered in 1975 when the City of David excavations were first conducted
under the direction of the late Professor Yigal Shiloh representing the City of
David Society, the Israel Exploration Society, the Jerusalem Foundation and a
group of South African sponsors headed by Mr. Mendel Kaplan.
In what was called the
“Burnt House” excavated by Yigal Shiloh from the era of the destruction of the
First Temple of Solomon, a seal purportedly appeared in the possession of a
Palestinian antiquities dealer along with 250 other bullae. This cache of
bullae was quickly purchased by a prominent Israeli collector, Dr. R. Hecht. He
then permitted the famed Israeli archeologist Nahman Avigad to study and
publish the findings. Archeologist would later reminiscence of this era when she
reported:
Archeologist Eilat Mazar – “At the beginning of the 1980s, Professor Yigal Shiloh, a
mentor of mine, excavated an area that includes what is known as the Burnt Room
and the Bullae House. In their destruction layer, he found pottery typical of
this period together with arrowheads that show that some fight was conducted
here. It really revealed the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians in 586
B.C….In my excavations at the Ophel, to the south of the Temple Mount, I
discovered a royal structure that appears to have been destroyed by an immense
fire around 586 B.C. As we excavated, our hands were black with the ashes. And
the Bible tells us that the Babylonians set houses on fire.”
As Mazar continued to
describe the Bullae Room called the “Burnt House” discovered in the burnt out
area of 6th century BCE Jerusalem when the Babylonian forces torched
the houses, elegant homes of the nobility and the Temple of Solomon in the city
of Jerusalem surrounding the temple of the L-rd, she continued to reminisce
about her professional archeological opinion the purpose of the “Bullae Room”
in the “Burnt House”:
Archeologist Eilat Mazar
– “We think it was likely a royal archive. It
has the name Bullae House because Shiloh found there, in addition to pottery
and arrowheads, 51 bullae. A bulla is a very small seal impression made of
clay. They were used by officials sealing documents. They would roll up a
papyrus document, tie it with string, and then put a bit of soft clay on top of
the string and stamp it with a seal. This kept the document secret, because the
seal would be broken if it was opened.”
This amazing seal discovered
in the remains of the 6th BCE Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem
measured 17 x 16 mm and had a single line that borders the impression. Dated to
the late 7th and the early 6th century, it was then
stamped with an oval seal that is 13 by 11 mm.
Written in the ancient Hebrew language, it also possibly had a partial
impression of a finger print upon it by the owner that was embossed in the
upper corner of the seal. Here we notice that a single line borders the seal
impression and then it is divided by double horizontal lines into three
registers that bears the following Inscription:
Ibrkyhw (belonging to Berachyahu) bn nryhw (son of Neriyahu), hspr (the scribe).
It appears, according to
scholarly opinions, that here was the seal of the famous biblical scribe of
the Prophet Jeremiah; Baruch the son of Neriah(Jeremiah 36:4). The fame of Jeremiah was profound in the
last of the era of the Davidian rulers in the Southern Kingdom of Judah before
the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple of Solomon by the Babylonians in
586 BCE. Part of this influence in part
was that the Prophet Jeremiah from Libnah was probably the grandfather of King Zedekiah
and truly had the biblical imprint of being the prophetic voice of HaShem, the
G-d of the Jews in this era. This bulla once owned and used by Jeremiah the Prophet’s
scribe, Baruch ben Neriah is today located in the Israeli Museum for the
visiting public to appreciate.
Avigad was
most noted for his publications notably on Hebrew seals; the most famous at
that time was the seal discovered in 1964 which he tentatively identified as
the Seal of Queen Jezebel, the Phoenician queen of King Ahab of Elijah’s Fiery
Barbecue on Mount Carmel fame.
Nahman Avigad’s fame was equal to the
reputation that stood behind this great Israeli archeologist, for it was the
Bible scholar Frank Moore Cross, the Hancock
Professor of Hebrew and Other Oriental Languages Emeritus at Harvard
University, who was most notable for his work in the interpretation of the Dead Sea Scrolls, his
1973 magnum opusCanaanite Myth and Hebrew Epic, and his work in Northwest Semiticepigraphy, who
wrote that Avigad “was Israel’s most distinguished epigraphist in his
generation, and one of the great figures in the history of Hebrew and Jewish
epigraphy.”
We know that the relationship of Baruch was indelibly
sealed with the voice of Jeremiah for Baruch was the prophet’s amanuensis, the
literary or artistic assistant of the prophet who took his dictations and
inscribed them on manuscripts or copies to kept in a literary archive. Yet, Baruch was more than just a scribe. He had
a profound a secret mission that he and several others had conducted probably
unknowing to the last royal ruler of the throne of King David, King Zedekiah.
It was in 1992 that Rabbi Rachnael Steinberg with his student
Rabbi Mendel Tropper discovered in Amsterdam, Holland the long lost writings
called the “Emeq HaMelekh”, meaning the “Valley of the Kings.” It had
been written by Rabbi Naftali Hertz Ben Ya’acov Elchanon in the year
1648 in Amsterdam.
According to rabbinic history, “Rav Hertz” was known as a
prominent and holy Rabbi who excelled in the knowledge of the written and the
oral Torah. His lineage of rabbinic knowledge came from the famed Rabbi
Ari Ben Luria, leader of the rabbinic mystical sages which included the great
Torah sage, Rabbi Yosef Cairo, author of the Shulchan Aruch. According to
the records, Rabbi Naftali Hertz cited as his source as the Massakhet Keilim, a Tosefta (addition) to the Talmud, which is not found in any modern Talmud today.
BibleSearchers Reflections – “According to the discoverer
of the Emeq HaMelekh, Rabbi Steinberg, in the Talmud Huriot 12A, describes the prophet Jeremiah, realizing that the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple was
imminent, organized a heroic rescue operation. He was commanded by the
King of Judah, King Josiah, who had recently repaired the Temple of
Solomon and found the ancient writings of the Torah hidden in the Temple, to
hide the Ark of the Covenant, the bottle of Anointing Oil, Aaron’s Staff and the ‘Chest’ sent by the Pelishtim
(Philistines) to Israel as “a gift to the God of Israel”.
Rabbi Tropper, also citing also the Babylonian Talmud in Tractate Yoma 72 A, stated that the Mishkhan (Wilderness
Sanctuary) and all its contents were hidden away but will one day be found.
Yes, the ancient Mishkhan, or Wilderness Temple,
which was built by Bezaleel under the supervision of Moses and the blueprint
given to him by the Lord of hosts on Mount Sinai, was still in existence before
the last days of King Zedekiah and kept in a sacred repository in a grotto
under the Temple of Solomon. It had been preserved in the days of Jeremiah and
King Josiah and now it was imperative to hide it even a more secret location to
keep it out of the hands of anticipated invasion of the Babylonian forces of
King Nebuchadnezzar. In an article written by
Rabbi Tropper, we today can read the following:
Rabbi
Tropper – “This house of worship (“Mishkhan”) contained the altar for the daily and seasonal sacrifices,
the elaborate Menorah (candelabra)
of solid gold, the Qalal (copper urn)
containing the Ashes of the Red Heifer, and the numerous other vessels
utilized for the detailed services of the Kohanim (priests).
Within the Mishkhan's inner chamber, the Holy
of Holies could be found the magnificent Ark of the Covenant containing among other sacred items, the Tablets of the Ten Commandments
brought down by Moses at Sinai. Because of these sacred contents and the level
of holiness attained by the Prophet Moses, only the Mishkhan reached a pure
enough state to warrant that the Shechina (Divine Presence of G-d) would come
to rest within it for all eternity. When the First Temple was built in
Jerusalem, the Ark of the Covenant was placed inside while the rest of the
Mishkhan was buried beneath in a secret vault."
The story
does not end. Later in the 1990’s, at Cambridge University was discovered
work done by
a Solomon Schechter in 1896, who had
bought about 100,000 pages that
had been discovered in a Genizah
of the ancient and revered Ben Ezra Synagogue in Cairo, Egypt.
According to
the Torah, any document contained the name of the Holy One could not be
destroyed, so when it was damaged or too old to be used, it was put in a
document depository called a Genizah. The documents within the caves of Qumran were
also suggested as being a Genizah depository for the Essenes or for the priests
in Herod’s Temple in Jerusalem. The reason
being that Qumran was suggested as being a Genizah is that every book in the Torah,
the Writings and the Prophets, plus countless other inter-testament writings
and commentaries were represented in the Qumran library except for the Book of Esther; the only
book written by or about the Jews that does not give the holy name of HaShem,
the G-d of Israel.
Within the scrolls found in the Ben Ezra
Synagogue’s Genizah in Cairo, Egypt was found a copy of the missing Tosefta, listed under the section of Keilim (‘Vessels’) and noted to be the same source writings that Rabbi Hertz was citing in
his 1648 Mishnayots. The only difference, these source writings
were believed to be from the 8th and 9th century; 800 years
earlier.
Rabbi Naftali (Ben Elchanan) Hertz, called these
records Mishnayots and were included in the introduction of his text. The
Mishnah as the rabbinic written documentation of the oral traditions passed
down by the Levites from the time of Moses is the first section of the Talmud,
which also includes ‘the summary’, called the Gemara. Here in the 9th
Mishnah, we find the role of Baruch the Scribe as given to him by his rabbinic
mentor; Jeremiah the Prophet.”
Let us then read the 9th Mishnah of
the Emeq HaMelekh and the secret mission of Baruch son of Neriah, the Scribe
conducted and it’s role on heralding the Future Messianic Reign of David son of
David
The 9th Mishnayot of the Emeq HaMelekh - “David [also] made 1,000
lyres and 7,000 harps to atone for Israel. He had Zilzalim (cymbals) for
singing, extolling, thanksgiving, and praising the G-d of Israel which were
handed down to him from Moses, from Sinai. The words, “From beneath the legs of the Throne of Glory, sapphire stone, in the
likeness of the Throne” (cf. Exodus 24:10), were inscribed upon them.
The lyres were made of Almugim wood, overlaid with fine
gold, with 8 stones on each lyre, carried by the clouds, the demons and the
spirits that were under Shlomo's dominion. On each lyre was a bell of
"Nehoshet Kalal" (burnished copper) from before the Throne of Glory,
together with a priceless, precious stone that Moses quarried on Mount Sinai
from under the Throne of Glory which was upon the Sapphire Stone.
All these were hidden and concealed in "Ein
Zidkiyah" that the fittest [men] of Israel knew in secret, lest they fall,
G-d forbid, into the hands of the enemy who hated Israel. For these vessels are
not to be used except to atone for Israel. Baruch [ben Neriah] and Zidkiyahu
thus concealed them to prevent the Chaldeans from using them, G-d forbid.
They hid them until the day when Israel will return to
their former stature and reclaim [eternal] honor and worldly glory, and they
find a man whose name is David, son of David. The silver and gold shall
then be unearthed to him, when “All Israel” (Northern 10 Tribes) and the
Jews] shall gather and make a complete Aliyah (ascent) to Jerusalem. Amen.”

Today, we can look down upon the Kidron
Valley with the packed homes in the Palestinian city called Silwan, we can
imagine what it may have looked like when the verdune hillside was a luscious
forest and down in the Kidron Valley where the Gihon Springs ran through the
valley to the south were once upon a time, the fames Botanical Gardens of King
Solomon, which he created from the exotic plants and animals that were brought back
on the voyages of his royal ships manned with Phoenician sailors which plied
the world for exotic animals plus the vast quantities of gold and silver. This
is what made the empire of Kings David and Solomon a living legend of all ages.
The secret mission of “Baruk the scribe”,
along with the young and zealous Prophet Zedekiah the leader of the post-exilic
Jews before Baruch fled with Jeremiah to Egypt was to find a secure hiding
place for the stringed instruments and
percussion section of the Levitical choirs and orchestra in King Solomon’s
Temple that was renowned in all the world. As described, they were made also of
Almugim wood; overlaid with gold and encrusted each with 8 jeweled stones.
On each lyre
and harp were inscribed the words, "From beneath the legs of the Throne of
Glory, sapphire stone, in the likeness of the Throne" (cf. Exodus 24:10).
So the
seal, now called the Baruch Bulla was endowed by Dr. Avigad with a new
spiritual significance, for as he stated that he had the feeling of having a
“personal contact with persons who figured prominently in the dramatic events
in which the giant figure of Jeremiah and his faithful follower Baruch were
involved in a most critical time preceding the down fall of Judah.”

Soon afterward,
Avigdad also published another seal bearing the inscription “Belonging to Seriah (ben) Neriah." This Seriah, the brother to
Baruch the scribe was the “chief chamberlain” in the court of King Zedekiah
(Jeremiah 51:59). It was he, Seriah the son of Neriah and the brother of Baruch
the Scribe, who accompanied the blinded Jewish king to Babylon.
Earlier, before the forces
of Nebuchadnezzar had arrived, Seriah had the duty to carry a written oracle
from the Prophet Jeremiah, written down as dictated by this brother, Baruch the
scribe by Jeremiah, the grandfather of King Zedekiah. Anticipating the ultimate
destruction of Babylon, which he was to read aloud on his arrival in the city,
it was Seriah’s duty to then throw the document into the Euphrates (Jeremiah
59:64). So now we have two brothers involved in the dynastic conflict within
the Palace of King David, now inhabited by King Zedekiah; both of whom were
close friends and associates of the prophet Jeremiah.
But that was not all! Inside the royal palace compound back in
Jerusalem, the courtiers and counselors of King Zedekiah were in an uproar. The
news had come that the forces of Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon were heading towards
Jerusalem. The Egyptian camp wanted to form an alliance with the Egyptian
Pharaoh against Babylon but the Prophet Jeremiah was advising vehemently
against such an alliance. With the prophetic seal of HaShem’s approval, it was
Jeremiah’s duty to advice King Zedekiah that to remain as a vassal of King
Zedekiah, the city of Jerusalem would be saved. To make an alliance with Egypt,
the city of Jerusalem and Solomon’s Temple would be destroyed.
In the Palace of King
David, Eilat Mazar, the Israeli archeologist then discovered two more seals or
bullae. These two seals were the personal seals of two Jewish counselors
serving in the royal court of King Zedekiah. Amazingly they were discovered in
the palace ruins of King David overlooking the Royal Botanical Gardens in the
Kidron Valley below. As Dr. Eilat Mazar described this archeological
discovery:
Dr. Eilat Mazar – “The bullae that first Shiloh's
excavation (in the Burnt House) and later my excavation found were remarkably
well-preserved. The papyrus was destroyed in the fire, but the clay seal
impressions were hardened because of the fire. The amazing thing is, we can
actually read the names that were sealed in the clay. One of the famous names
we see is Yehuchal ben Shelemiyahu, a personality we know from the Bible. He
was a very high official and minister, a well-known scribe at the end of the
First Temple period, in the service of the Judean king Zedekiah. To find the
seal impression of such a celebrity is astonishing. It's a case of archeology
confirming what is in the Bible.”
Here was truly a “case
célèbre” in the archeological world when the first identifiable bulla (seal)
discovered at King David’s Palace inside the Large Stone Structure was that of Jehucal
(Yehuchal), a Jewish government official that was the son of Shelemiah
(Shelemyahu), son of Shevi mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah in the late 7th
century to the early 6th century.
Jeremiah 37:1-10 - “King Zedekiah son of Josiah, whom
Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylonia, enthroned in the land of Judah, reigned in
place of Coniah son of Jehhoiakim. He did not listen, [neither] he [nor] his
servants [nor] the people of the land, to the words of HaShem, which He spoke
through Jeremiah the prophet.
King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah
son of Maaseiah the Kohen to Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “Please pray on our
behalf unto HaShem our G-d.” Now Jeremiah was coming and going among the
people; they had not [yet] put him into prison. The army of Pharaoh had
departed from Egypt; the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard the news
about them and withdrew from Jerusalem.
The word of HaShem came to Jeremiah the prophet saying,
“Thus said HaShem, G-d of Israel; Say this to the king of Judah, who sends you
to Me to inquire of Me:
“Behold, the army of Pharaoh that left to assist you is
returning to its land, Egypt; and the Chaldeans will return and fight against
this city, and they will capture it and burn it [down]. Thus said HaShem: Do
not delude yourselves, saying, ‘The Chaldeans will surly depart from us’, for
they will not depart! For even if you would strike the entire Chaldean army
that is fighting against you, and only wounded men will remain of the of them,
each man would rise up from his tent and
burn [down] this city in fire.”
Then there was a second
bulla that was discovered at this site also of another government official,
called Gedaliah (Gedalyahu), the son of Pashhur. His name also was
discovered in the Book of Jeremiah. His bulla was discovered with a cache of
broken pottery beneath a tower that was built by Nehemiah.
Jeremiah 38:1-10 – “Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah
son of Pashhur, Jehucal son of Shelemaih, and Pashhur son of
Malchiah heard the things that Jeremiah was speaking to the people, saying:
‘Thus said HaShem: Whoever remains in this city will die
by the sword, by the famine or by the pestilence, whereas whoever goes out [in
surrender] to the Chaldeans will live; he will have his life as a booty and he
will live. Thus said HaShem: This city will surely be delivered into the hands
of the army of the king of Babylonia and He will capture it.’
And the[se] officers said to the king, ‘Let this man be
put to death now, because he is weakening the hands of the soldiers who remain
in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking to them such things.
For this man does not seek the welfare of this people, but rather [their]
detriment.'
King Zedekiah then said, ‘Behold, he is in your hands;
for the king has no word to dispute you.’ So they took Jeremiah and threw him
into the pit of Malchiah son of the king which was in the Courtyard of the
Confinement; they lowered Jeremiah with ropes. In the pit there was no water,
only mud; and Jeremiah sank [partially] into the mud.”
Reading this account
make us truly sober, for once again the city of Jerusalem is again in the
international limelight of those nations who seek to destroy her. For the
oracles written by the ancient prophet of old, today we can see a certain
reality that these prophecies are about to again unfold. As to them so today,
most of the world, even those that are “believers of the Bible” have developed
a case of amnesia, saying, “Surely these events will not happen!”
As it was in the days of
Jeremiah, so it will be our days that the faithfulness of the G-d of Israel to
disclose what will happen in our future will be fulfilled. These catastrophic
will not occur just in Jerusalem but will occur throughout the whole earth,
until out of the devastation and the pyres of inferno, the Lost Ten Tribes of
the House of Israel and the remaining Jews left in the diaspora who continue to
seek their fame and fortune will return in aliyah to the lands of their
forefathers. Then the whole House of Israel (Klal Yisrael) will be reunited
once again in brotherhood with one another.
Interestingly both of
these government officials in the royal House of King Zedekiah were responsible
for the daily operations of the royal palace of King Zedekiah. There in the palace it was their duty to
place their seals upon the objects that were the property of the king or the
secret communications within the royal court that sealed for those the
communication were to be sent. When the palace was looted and destroyed by the
forces of King Nebuchadnezzar from Babylon, these seals that spoke of their
authority were be tossed out and scattered about in the palace debris and to
lay dormant for almost 2,600 years for their story to be revealed at the time
of the end.
Yet, what is of greater
interest, these two royal court officials directly opposed the prophetic oracles
of doom written by the Prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 38:1-6). In response, it was
they who imprisoned the Prophet Jeremiah in a water cistern with mud up to his
waste and left him there to die.
Yet, these were not the
first bulla to be discovered in the near vicinity of King David’s Palace. It
was the two earlier bullae that were discovered that sealed the confirmation
that this was the Prophet Jeremiah, the grandfather of King Zedekiah. It was this Jeremiah
who authored both the Books of Jeremiah and Lamentation; the latter read every
year on the day of the infamous 9th of Av when Solomon Temple was
destroyed in Jerusalem.
It was Baruch the
Scribe, called Baruch ben Neriah (Berachyahu ben Neriyahu) who was the Prophet
Jeremiah’s literary assistant. From his pen he inscribed Jeremiah’s prophetic
text, the Book of Jeremiah that stated that Jerusalem and Solomon’s famous
temple would be destroyed if the Jerusalem political counselors and the king
persisted in allying themselves with Egypt in alliance against Nebuchadnezzar.
Baruch then wrote the words of the profound grief of the Prophet Jeremiah’s
“Lamentations” as he witnessed the destruction when this prophecy became a
literary reality.

There
in the oldest part of Jerusalem, at the top of that ancient city, the site for
the palace of King David was build. It’s
platformed height was quite modest an area, very narrow about 60 meters (about
200 feet) wide. According to the text in
II Samuel, David’s royal friend and vassal, King Hiram of the Phoenician city
of Tyre, traveled to Jerusalem and with him brought his master mason and men
skilled in the art of buildings with large stones to begin the construction of
building a palace for King David.
Knowing
from the ancient historical script in the 11 Samuel, it gives a descriptive
account of King David descending “down into his fortress” when his scouts in the
outer regions of his dominion towards the Philistines to the west, sent
messages that the Philistines were coming to attack him. So where did David
descend from? Where was the fortress into which he descended?
Eilat
Mazar’s first impression was that the “Stepped Stone Structure” was a Canaanite
terraced structure that was constructed to be a supporting wall for the
Canaanite fortress that David and his men captured and then retrofitted to make
into his new palace.
Forty
years earlier, the Israeli archeologist Kathleen Kenyon did excavate in this
region in the 1960s. What she found then were building structural remains that
included pottery from the 10th century BCE and suggested that this
massive structure was built in the 10th century BCE. This also make
a “nice fit” for the beginning of the biblical chronology of King David and his
United Kingdom of Israel.
When
Eilat Mazar began to excavate nearby in the “Stepped Stone Structure”, she
discovered huge, almost megalithic boulders that appeared throughout the
structure. The walls themselves were
about 16 feet (five meters) thick, yet still Mazar did not believe at that time
that this was King David’s Fortress and Palace.
Suddenly
they began to find pottery that was not just 10th century BCE
pottery but earlier in the 12th and the 11th century. It
was located under or beneath the massive stone structure. In her mind, Mazar suddenly realized that the
Jebusite Canaanite fortress was actually in a lower deposition layer that was
built several hundred years earlier. The
megalithic stones above were the Palace and Fortress of King David now located
in the City of David, now located in G-d’s Mount Zion. Suddenly the clues began
to thicken. There was pottery beneath
and also on top of the large stone structure; not just select pieces or two but
a “great quantity of earlier Canaanite pottery from the 12th to the
11th century BCE. Yet, there
were other clues.
Within
the palace premises they also began to uncover not just everyday pottery used
by the local citizens, but “beautiful, elegant pottery”, which Mazar called “certainly
a prestigious collection.” Also discovered were ivory utensils for the royal
kitchen that also included the handle of a knife, in a region where no one else
had ivory. Truly this had to be a palace, “fit for a king.”
As
the Israeli archeological excavation continued into 2008 and 2009, the outline
of the palace and fortress began to take on new dimensions. Even though it was
massive in ancient terms, this whole area of construction was only one-fourth
of an acre inside. Yet, according to Mazar, she believes that they have only
uncovered only about 20 percent of the entire palatial structure sitting on top
of the City of David.
The
construction itself, the largest ever discovered in Israel from the ancient
Hebrew Israelite period depicted one fact; here was the evidence of a
sophisticated and centralized government structure that had not only a royal
but also a military fortress built in massive stone defensive type buildings. The
foundation of the palace was built with massive walls on top, yet below the
bedrock was very steep, yet cracked. It needed the integrity of a massive stone
structure to support the bedrock below, therefore the Stepped Stone Structure
was not built for a Canaanite fortress as was earlier believed but as one
massive palatial structure by the skilled Phoenician masons of King Hiram in
Tyre that included a palace and a defense fortress nearby.
We have to agree that this
Israelite archeologist, Eilat Mazar is a brave yet realistic discoverer of the ancient
world. She does not compromise her Jewish faith in the literal integrity of the
TaNaKh as a historical document, yet allows the archeological remains to speak
for themselves and affirm the biblical reality in the literal accounts written
in the TaNaKh. Even so, it still was not
fully understood as to whether this was a palace, fortress or a temple, except
again from the biblical record, later a temple was built by King Solomon on the
Temple Mount to the north of the palace site. So how did Eilat Mazar describe
the City of David about 1000 BCE?
Looking back in time upon
her work, Eilat Mazar has brought a new dimension to the era of King David.
With the stepped-stone structure now recognized as the largest Iron Age
structure in Israel that covers the northeastern slopes of the City of David,
have now been excavated with its mantle of terraces and walls. Earlier thought
to have been the Jerusalem fortress of King David, there is now a newer
consideration that the actually site of the Palace of King David is just to the
north adjacent to the fortress.
What is known, the
construction was a dramatic change from what was built in the earlier Jebusite
Canaanite city of Salem before. The material for its construction included
according to the biblical text, dressed building stones plus cedar wood from
Lebanon. Neither one of them were in
common use in the 10th century BCE.
Nearby in a area that was excavated by Dame Kathleen Kenyon, a British
archeologist who worked in the City of David between the years of 1961 and
1967, a proto-Aeolic type capital was discovered in the excavations nearby to
Shiloh’s Area G excavations mixed within the region of other large buildings
and palaces. Later, thirty three other capitals have been discovered in such
sites as Megiddo, Ramat Rahel and Dan.
Also nearby at Area G, there
were uncovered ashlars, and square blocks of hewn stone no doubt formed by the
master craftsmen of sent by King Hiram of Lebanon. Nearby also to the fortress was a casement
wall with square compartment that appeared also to be a unifying part of the entire
capital construction by King David and included a fortress, palace and other
government buildings. With all of these discoveries, Mazar with great
satisfaction could now reminisce on how amazing the biblical testimony about
King David’s Jerusalem is now actually unfolding before our eyes. As she
explains:
Archeologist
Eilat Mazar – “It seems to me that
Jerusalem at the time of King David and King Solomon was very much like the
Bible describes. It was monumental; the constructions were massive. They used
the Phoenicians, with their capability and skill, to build the largest
structures ever built in Jerusalem: the temple, the two palaces—King David's
and later the palace of King Solomon—and the wall of Jerusalem around these
structures. This was a new wall that King Solomon added to the ancient wall of
the old Canaanite town.
King David captured a Canaanite town that was very
centralized, very important. He most probably did so purposely and didn't kill
most of the people. He continued most of the existing administration. It gave
him strength. I believe that Jerusalem continued to be a great metropolitan
center and to serve as the capital of the Israelites.”
She
then went on to describe a structure that was very impressive. According to the
archeological finds, “astonishing structure” was completed no later than the late Iron Age I, because
there were no deposition finds from later eras discovered in the “fills below
this structure.” In another area of this
palace ruins were discovered also Iron Age IIA pottery that was a part of a
later and secondary construction site that was used later as it appeared that
the building construction expanded in later years. In the mind of Mazar as she
testified:

– “What this clearly means is that in the very late Iron Age I, or the very
early Iron Age IIA (whether you date this to late 11th/early 10th, or late
10th), there were substantial public architectural activities in Jerusalem.”
These concepts by Eilat
Mazar were posted in a blog by Aren Maeir in February, 2006 which stated:
Aren Maeir – “The
structure is in fact very impressive, and it appears, based on the finds from
below this astounding structure, that it was built no later than the late Iron
Age I, since no later finds were found in the fills below this structure. Also,
in one area, Iron Age IIA pottery was found in a context of secondary
construction and use of the building. What this clearly means is that in the
early late Iron Age I, or the very early Iron Age IIA (whether you date this to
late 11th/early 10th, or late 10th), there were substantial public
architectural activities in Jerusalem.”
Then
in 2008, Mazar archeological team discovered the entrance of what appeared to
be an extensive tunnel running under
the Stepped Stone Structure. She believe that
it could have been the water tunnel that was called the tsinor in the biblical
story of King David’s conquest of the Jebusite city of Salem (Jebu-salem) as
chronicled in I Chronicles 11:4-6 and II Samuel 5:6-8.
It
could have been also the escape route of King Zedekiah when he fled the city
through an underground tunnel during the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem. As she
describes the tunnel, it is composed of unworked stone and bedrock where one
person at a time could crawl through the tunnel was at the time of Mazar’s
discovery littered with oil lamp reminiscent of a military siege.
Then
to her surprise, they came also upon the remains of what they believed to be
the remnants of a wall believed to be the wall that the Prophet Nehemiah, who
governed the city of Jerusalem during the days of the Persians around the date
of 445 BCE after the return of the Jewish exiles from the land of Persia. At the base of the wall was a collection of pottery,
bullae and arrowheads that assisted Mazar in the dating of the 100-foot long
wall to the Prince of David, Nehemiah, the prophet and political governor at
Jerusalem who also headed a massive construction project to complete the
building of the enormous wall around the city of Jerusalem near to King David’s
former palace, all in the matter of 52 days.
Considering
that the G-d of Israel is the Sovereign ruler of the Universe and there is
nothing is is occurring today that is without His behest and command, why is
there suddenly so much information being revealed during these present
days? Why has the extent of the Davidian
United Kingdom of Israel been languishing for the past 3,000 years in the
bedrock of Jerusalem and the surrounding regions of the Tribe of Judah?
Is
it not being revealed because this is the time of the end when everything that
G-d wants to be revealed will be revealed before the Maschiah ben Dovid comes
to set up his kingdom on Planet Earth just as the prophets of Israel predicted
2,800 years ago? Consider the implications of these facts upon your life and
upon the lives of the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel. Your day has
come, when you will have to make a decision. Will you yield to the calling of
the Spirit of the Divine and begin preparing your future life, as a Lost Ten
Triber of the House of Israel to one day you will become again a resident in the
tribal homelands of your forefathers?

King David comes out of the loins of the Jewish people. If anyone should know
their history, it should be them. Not only that, King David was a proto-type of
the future Messiah and his life was a dramatic rehearsal of the Messiah who

people arrived on the scene of history out of one of the greatest

There are no peoples
who have arrived in the modern age from the mists of history with their
history, language, cultural identity, streams of prophecies that were given
hundreds and thousands of years before they arrived, except the Jewish
people. They also gave us their G-d who claimed He birthed them, nurtured them,
and will preserve them for Eternity. Yet, we believe that the rest
of the Ten Tribes of Israel are still “lost”?

The two decade
scholarly and archeological debate on whether King David was truly an imperial
ruler was raised to another level when the two Israeli archeologists, Yossi
Garkinkel and Saar Ganor of Hebrew University in Jerusalem revealed to the
international public in mid-July, 2013 the archeological evidence that King
David had built a royal walled compound at Khirbet Qeiyafa, to the west of
Jerusalem. Over the centuries, the minimalists in archeology have had a field
day debunking the biblical evidence that Kings David and Solomon and the United
Kingdom in Jerusalem was a center of an imperial dynasty whose influence spread
from the Mediterranean Sea to the west to the Euphrates to the northeast.
They cited the lack
of evidence of King David in the archeological record, that was until the year
of 1993, when the first onslaught to dismantle the State of Israel began in
Oslo to give away the central “mountains of Israel” to the unwanted Arab tribal
peoples called the Palestinians, so also in that year the G-d of Israel chose
to reveal in archeology for the first time, the name, the “House of David” in
archeology.
Was this a coincidence?
We do not believe so! It was in this era that the United States, Europe with
the Arab dictators in Saudi Arabia and Iraq sought to claim hegemony over the
oil production in the Middle East. The State of Israel was totally dependent
upon her Arab neighbors for the gas and oil that fueled the engines of Israel’s
remarkable technological age. Now the spectrum of reality was now being
revealed that in the future the Messiah son of David would become to claim its
mantle of authority, this time not just over an imperial kingdom that spread
from the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates but over Planet Earth and our
entire solar system.
Then suddenly at the northern tribal region
centered at the ancient city of Tel Dan, where the Northern Kingdom of Israel placed the golden calf alters in
their rebellion against the Davidic kingdoms central capital at Jerusalem, the
Tel Dan Stele was uncovered. It revealed
for the first time the name of “David” in the phrase (bytdwd), and the reading "House of David. Archeologists
today have now “now widely accepted” this translation.
Only then could we begin to see the evidence
of rise of the small tribal kingdom of Israel that are now evident in theBronze and Iron Age remains of the City of David uncovered in Jerusalem
today in the urban core of ancient Jerusalem. These have been identified with
the dynastic reigns of Kings David and Solomon and their later royal
descendants in the Southern Kingdom of Judah, as investigated in the 1970s to
the 1980s by Yigal Shiloh also of the Hebrew University.
Even then it was not until the year of 2005
that the Israeli archeologist Eilat Mazar reported the discovery of the Large
Stone Structure which she
claimed was David's palace overlooking the Kidron Valley where the royal
botanical garden and the Gihon Springs once watered the region for the royal
family to enjoy.
Then came the archeological discovery of theMesha Stele from Moab that was
dated to the same era of 850-835 BCE. In a place on line 12 where the interpretation
in not certain because the lettering has been damaged, and on line 31, where
one letter must be supplied, the “House of David” is again mentioned.
Dating to the Iron Age Northern Kingdom of Israel under
King Omri, the Mesha Stele account dovetails with the biblical account in 2
King 3:4-8 in the 9th century BCE where the Northern Kingdom of
Israel headquartered in Samaria was referred to as the “House of Omri” and also
refers to the Israelite god as Yahweh. In addition, if the French scholar André Lemaire's reconstruction of a portion of line 31 is
correct — the earliest mention of the "House of David" (i.e., the kingdom of Judah) is
mentioned.
Also in line 12,
Anson Rainey interpreted the two-word phrase ‘R’L DWDH to read as the “altar
hearth of David” at Ataroth. This was one of the nearby towns that were
captured by the Moabite ruler, Mesha.
The sentence thus
interpreted reads: “I (i.e. Mesha) carried from there (Atartoth) the ‘R'L of
its DWD (or: it’s 'R'L of DVD) and I dragged it before Kemosh in Qeriot".
As such, this would then become the earliest evidence of the existence of the
Southern Judean Kingdom and its ruling Davidic dynasty of Kings David and
Solomon.
Now in mid-July,
2013, the discussion and debate about the literal rule of Kings David and
Solomon has ratcheted up another notch as Yossi Garkinkel and Saar Ganor of the
Hebrew University revealed the evidence of the 7-year excavations at the modern
Jewish city of Khirbet Qeiyafa when
it was unveiled to the international press.
Here the Israeli Antiquities
Authority has uncovered two large buildings “fit for a king” located at the ancient
fortified Judean city of Shaarayim, meaning “two gates” which happens to be
also the city where the young red-headed youth, called David, of the House of
Jesse smote the giant called Goliath.
This epic battle
which consisted of one squirmish between a young shepherd lad and a warrior
giant called Goliath, allowed the beleaguered Israelite forces under King Saul
to route their Philistine enemies to their west along the Mediterranean Sea and
cast their political, religious and military influence out of the land of
Israel. As Yossi Garkinkel and Saar Ganor of the Hebrew University both stated
in the press release:
The biblical Judean city of Shaarayim is today accepted
to be the modern city of Khirbet Qeiyafa. There in this walled and fortified
city were two major structures, one identified to be a second palace built for
King David and the second structure was identified to be an “enormous royal
storeroom” that now claims to be the two largest known buildings that existed
in the 10th century BCE in and near Jerusalem. As described by
Archeologist Garfinkel and Ganor:
Garfinkel and
Ganor – “The southern part of a large palace that extended across an area of
about 1,000 square meters [10,800 square feet] was revealed at the top of the
city…The wall enclosing the palace is about 30 meters [100 feet] long and an
impressive entrance is fixed it through which one descended to the southern
gate of the city, opposite the Valley of Elah. Around the palace’s perimeter
were rooms in which various installations were found -- evidence of a metal
industry, special pottery vessels and fragments of alabaster vessels that were
imported from Egypt.”
Suddenly all the
neo-reconstructions of the ancient biblical texts in the Jewish TaNaKh have
made their Waterloo. It appears that the
dispute on whether King David’s 10th century monarchy ruled from
Jerusalem even existed, has now substantially been put to rest. Then there are the ancient reconstructions
that King David was just a tribal chieftain whose rule was later embellished
during the Jewish captivity in Babylon over more mythical ancestral legends.
These are now beginning to crater. It appears that there are some who will
always demean the glories of the Davidian kingdom in the ancient world.
The Israeli
Antiquities Authority (IAA) affirmed their confidence that this “Iron Age
palace” and royal compound could be attributed to the era of King David’s reign
when IAA spokeswoman Yoli Schwartz reported:
Yoli Schwartz – “This is the only site in which organic
material was found -- including olive seeds -- that can be carbon-14 dated…The
palace is located in the center of the site and controls all of the houses
lower than it in the city. From here one has an excellent vantage looking out
into the distance, from as far as the Mediterranean Sea in the west to the
Hebron Mountains and Jerusalem in the east. This is an ideal location from
which to send messages by means of fire signals.”
In dissent, Professor
Aren Meir of Bar Ilan University was forced to accept that the site was
important, but demurred by saying to the Leftist News Haaretz, that the Hebrew
archeologists were relying too much on the biblical historical testimony as its
primary source of evidence. As stated:
Professor Aren Meir – “[Can we] raise arguments about the
kingdom of David and Solomon? That seems to me a grandiose upgrade.”
As the excavations came
to a close on July 18, 2013, the mother lode is just beginning to be revealed
and evaluated. Hundreds of archeological
artifacts that had been discovered at the site were revealed to the
international press.
They include pottery
vessels, stone tools, numerous seals and religious objects typical to the 2nd
century BCE. There is no dispute that this archeological sight was a gold mine
and will reshape the discussion permanently on the validity of the royal
dynasty of Kings David and Solomon. As Garfinkel and Ganor stated while at the
same time standing their own ground against their dissenters:
Garfinkel and Ganor – “The palace that is now being
revealed and the fortified city that was uncovered in recent years are now another
tier in the understanding about the beginning of the Kingdom of Judah.”
According
to Garfinkel, the countryside palace at Khirbet Qeiyafa was a Judean city that
was inhabited by at least 500–600 permanent residents during the reign of Kings
David and Solomon. If we take the archeological evidence, based on pottery
finds alone at the Israeli royal site at Khirbet Qeiyafa and the Palestinian
site at Gath, archaeologists are now having to acquiesce even grudgingly that
Qeiyafa and Gath were residential sites for two separate national and tribal ethnic
groups that were culturally different. According to Bar Ilan University
archeologist, Aren Maeir:

who the residents were…It will become more clear if, for example, evidence of
the local diet is found. Excavations have shown that Philistines ate dogs and pigs,
while Israelites did not. The nature of the ceramic shards found at the site
suggest residents might have been neither Israelites nor Philistines but
members of a third, forgotten people.
Evidence that the
city was not Philistine comes from the private houses that abut the city wall,
an arrangement that was not used in Philistine cities. There is also evidence
of equipment for baking flat bread and hundreds of bones from goats, cattle,
sheep, and fish. Significantly, no pig bones have been uncovered, suggesting
that the city was not Philistine.
Nadav Na'aman of Tel
Aviv University nevertheless associates it with Philistine Gath, citing the
necessity for further excavations as well as evidence from Bet Shemesh whose
inhabitants also avoided eating pork, yet were associated with Ekron.”
Garfinkel,
on the other hand weighs in on the Jewish and Davidian claims to this historic
site, because of the fact that within the royal compound were numerous cultic
vessels that were typical of the vessels used by the Judeans that were under
the rule of King David and later King Solomon.
Yet opposed
to the north at the capital city, Samaria, in the Northern Kingdom of Israel
where there were also no trace of bones from the remains of pigs discovered at this
one site. With the palace fortress was also under the rule of the Judean priests
and Levites, the inhabitants here were also under the halakhic rule of kashrut
(clean meats).
As the
archeologists testified, since the consumption of pork was forbidden according
to the halakhic standard of the dietary laws of Judaism and thereby was
forbidden, this then became the “unequivocal evidence” with Garfinkel and Ganor
that Khirbet Qeiyafa was not Philistine, Canaanite, but rather Israelite in its
identity.
Just over a year ago,
the Israeli archeologists discovered three large rooms in which they believed
were used for cultic shrines. This evidence of using separate rooms within one
building that was dedicated to religious rituals was a Hebrew cultic ritual not
Classical Canaanite or Philistine style of cultic worship in which they used
separate temple and separate cultic shrines for numerous gods and not just the
One-G-d of Israel.
Garfinkel also made note
that the decoration with each cultic shrine room also lack any evidence of
human figurines suggesting the “the population
of Khirbet Qeiyafa observed at least two biblical bans, on pork and on graven
images, and thus practiced a different cult than that of the Canaanites or the
Philistines.”
Within the palace compound, they discovered three small portable
shrines. These shrines were boxes shaped with different decorations showing
impressive architectonic and decorative styles. Yet even clearer, there were no
images of humans on any one of the cultic items. Citing biblical parallels, Garfinkel noted
the existence of such shrines as written about in II Samuel 6.
Even so, one of the shrines discovered depicted two
pillars and a lion, which some scholars attest to the story of Sampson and the
Lion, and Sampson’s final act of honor to the G-d of Israel, when the walls of
a Philistine banquet hall collapsed when Sampson took his strong arms, wrapped
them around the poles and the upper floor came crashing down upon the
Philistine revelers below.
In closing on the cultic evidence at Khirbet Qeiyafa, it
was Garfinkel who testified that the style and the decorations that were upon
these cultic shrines were quite similar to the to biblical description of many
of the features within Solomon's Temple.
What is
most interesting are the archeological discoveries give clarity to the various
ages from the days of King Saul, David and Solomon and then beyond until
Jerusalem was destroyed by the Babylonians in the year 586 BCE. and later by the Babylonians in 70 CE.
With
the evidence of the small cultic shrines that were discovered, in May of 2012,
the same archeologists announced the discovery that there were also three
larger rooms that were also designed to be used as cultic shrines for
worshippers. According to Middle Eastern archeology, it is accepted that the
Canaanites and the Philistines practiced their cults within separate temple
that were then used as cultic shrines. Yet, they did not have separate rooms
within any of their temples that were dedicated only to religious rituals. All
three of these three cultic rooms neither had any imagery of the likeness of
the human body, nor did they have any images of the human figurine.
So today, it is universally accepted that nowhere else in the world is archeology
more contentious than in the Middle East.
The very expression of “biblical archeology” is anathema to most ancient
archeologists in that to them modern Israel is using today archaeological
discoveries “in the field” to back up their claims to these historical biblical
regions that their Jewish ancestors were the early inhabitants in the region.
We still confess that
the consensus of numerous modern scholars in the region still believe that
there is no definitive physical proof that the dynastic rule of King David has
been found. Yet, this “scholarly evidence” is staring them in the face and only
gives fodder to the Palestinians that claim that the Old City of David in
Jerusalem is part of their ancient ancestral history from the Jebusite
Canaanites that preceded the rule of King David.
Yet, even so, what they
fail to comprehend is that Melchizedek, who was called the king of Salem in the
days of Abraham was actually Shem, the son of Noah who at that time was the
oldest living person living on Planet Earth. Not only that, Shem was the ancestral
forefather of both the Jews of the House of Judah and the Lost Ten Tribes of
the House of Israel.
Even the Palestinians today
deny that the biblical Jewish Temple of Solomon and later the Zerubabbel Temple
that was modernized into King Herod’s Temple even existed. This is after they also
conduct their own Palestinian archeological digs by bulldozing the
archeological remains on the Temple Mount and trashing these remains in huge dump
heaps thereby destroying the archeological evidence from the context of the
deposition layers that lie around and beneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Just over a year ago,
the Israeli archeologists discovered three large rooms in which they believed

Garfinkel also made note

Philistines.” Taking this a step further, three small portable shrines were
discovered. They were decorated with three separate styles of decorations
depicting “impressive architectonic and decorative styles” and only confirming
the evidence of such shrines in the days of King Saul and the Prophet Samuel
(II Samuel 6) of which one shrine was decorated with two pillars and a lion;
stylistic memories of numerous features of the decorations within Solomon’s
temple.
So today the meaning of the name of Khirbet Qeiyafa, as
noted as its Arabic name, is still uncertain, for one interpretation suggests
“the place with the wide view.” Yet, the
local Bedouin populations refer to this site as Khirbet Daous, or “David’s
ruin”, yet in the Hebrew vernacular it was called the Elah Fortress, named
after the northern bank of Nahal Elah where six different brooks flowed down
from the mountains of Judea towards the coastal plain.”
After six years since the excavation at Khirbet Qeiyafa
began, nearly 600 square meters of dirt has been unearthed over nearly 6,500 sq
ft. of an Iron Age IIA city. Using the type of pottery styles to date the era
of the fortressed settlement, the archeological date of the royal palace
compound outside of Jerusalem was also recently dated to the dates of 1050 and
915 BCE by using two burned olive pits that were sent for carbon-14 dating at
Oxford University.
The biblical word called Sha’arayim, which means “two
gates” in Hebrew could be better understood when a “second gate” towards the
east was discovered in the year of 2008. So today, the 23-dunam or 5.7-acre
site is now just slightly smaller than the formidable Jericho 6.0 acre walled
city that the Children of Israel marched around until with the blowing of the
trumpets; “the walls came tumbling down.”
Even so, the walls surrounding the city were designed as a casement wall
with fortifications as seen in more modern reconstructions as a vaulted chamber
in a fortress that was intended to be impenetrable and could be used to protect
the defending Israelite soldiers or the military food or armament storerooms.
What is difficult in the dating of this fortress is the
fact that every archeologist has a pre-conceived opinion on whether such
fortifications came from the Middle Bronze Age to the Late Iron Ages I and
II. In as much as the more isolated
Egypt in the days of Kings David and Solomon was a late comer in the transition
from Bronze military defense armament to Iron weaponry, the Israelites in the era
of the judges into the era of the King Saul and then David and Solomon had to build
up and large military force in a more accelerated transition from Bronze to
Iron because of their near neighbors, the Philistines were earliest peoples
that used Iron making weaponry which gave them a decisive advantage on the
battlefield.
The overwhelming legends surrounding the United Kingdom
of King David and later the Golden Temple of King Solomon speaks volumes to the
importance of gold and silver in the Hebrew economy. They used extensive use of brass in their
symbolic armaments and their inherent allegiance with Egypt in spite of their
past relationship as “oppressed peoples” in the early Pharaonic Egypt of their
past.
Then we witness the evidence of the history of Kings
David and Solomon ruling over a land mass from the brook of Egypt to the
Euphrates and the ignoble end of King Saul by the Philistines. It also suggests that the United Kingdom
under Kings David and Solomon was also in transition from the Middle to Late
Bronze Age in their cultural imperial life, but Early Iron Age in their rapid
transition to military predominance in the entire Middle Eastern region.
These facts suggest that this fortified city was no doubt
first constructed during the United Monarchy of Kings David and Solomon of
before during the reign of King Saul. It
would appear that Sha’arayim could have been used by the later descendant kings
of the approved Dynasty of Kings of King David and Solomon in the Iron Age but
the archeological testimony does not collaborate with that fact. It does agree
that this fortress was used by the Hasmonean Kings of the Maccabees during the
era Antiochus Epiphanes IV down towards the era of the Romans and King Herod the
Great.
Consider then the archeological evidence with the dating
of Khirbet Qeiyafa by the archeologists that actually put this cultural deposition
level at Iron Age I and II. Yet the archeological evidence according to
Garfinkel does not agree that this Davidian palace outside Jerusalem remained a
functional royal palace for over 1,000 years from the days of Kings David to
the last Hasmonean ruler, Queen Alexandra II who was taken captive by King
Herod, and placed in house-arrest for the rest of her life at King Herod’s
palace in Jerusalem or Jericho. It does agree that there are deposition layers
that attest to the refortification of Khirbet Qeiyafa.
These archeological facts are supported by the
archeologist’s description of the remains where “500 jar handles bearing a
single finger print, or sometimes two or three, were found. Marking jar handles
is characteristic of the Kingdom of Judah and it seems this practice has
already begun in the early Iron Age IIA.” Within “Area “A” the archeological digs
extended deeper 5x5 metres and consisted of two major layers: Hellenistic above and Iron Age II below. So again it appears that
Late Bronze and Iron Age I are mission.
Area "B" also contained four squares, about 2.5
meters deep from top-soil to bedrock. This area featured both Hellenistic and Iron
Age layers. Yet, surveys on the surface revealed sherds that extended as far
back as the Early and Mid-Bronze Ages, plus also the periods from the Persian,
Roman, Byzantine, early Islamic, Mamluk and Ottoman eras.
The Hellenistic upper portion of the wall was constructed
with small rocks that were placed on top of the earlier Iron II Age lower
portions of the wall in the days of the kings of the Southern Kingdom of Judea.
These latter were constructed of bigger boulders built in a casemate design.
As described by the archeologists, the city gate that was
excavated was built with large boulders that weighed upwards from 3-5 tons
apiece. Below this region, in the lower
region of the wall construction was located larger megalithic type boulders
trimmed to be from 1 to 3 meters long and the largest and heaviest of them
weighing upwards form 3-5 tons. Above
that region was a much thinner wall, about 1.5 meters in depth using fieldstone
small in its construction that raise the height upwards to 6 to 9 feet in
height rising above the inclined perch of the fortified hilltop.
Taking a broader view of the surrounding geo-political
landscape, Khirbet Qeiyafa, also known as the Elah Fortress apparently was the
westernmost fortress between the royal capital in Jerusalem and the north-south
ridge of hilltop villages that separated the region of Philistia and Gath to
the west and Judea to the east. Within this region, were several cities of the
west that were cited in Joshua 15:35 as cities that became a part of the tribal
inheritance of the Tribe of Judah that included in total of 110 cities plus
“their villages” that were unnumbered.
Beyond the ridge were a series of valleys that connected
the two separate hilltop ridges that ran parallel with each other. Amongst all
this With Elah Fortress (Khirbet Qeiyafa) having a strategic location
overlooking a multitude of valleys, this royal fortress yet kept a clear
viewpoint vantage of the Judean Mountains to the east towards Jerusalem the
central command center of the Judean military of King David.
The
city itself was surrounded by a massive defensive wall that included stones
that weighed upwards to eight tons each (16,000 pounds) and whose height ranged
from 6 ft. 7 in. to 13 ft 1 in. in height. The construction of the walls was
Davidian in style for they were built by constructing casement walls built
similar to the walls of Hazor and Gezer. They were constructed with a pair of walls enclosed
with a chamber in between each parallel wall. Towards the center of the city
loomed over the rest of the construction was a spacious enclosed building
similar to those built at the royal cities of Samaria, Lachish, and Ramat Rachel.
This
style of construction was also very Judean in design for the town plan were
similar to those other ancient Judean cities at Beit Shemesh, Tell en-Nasbeh, Tell Beit Mirsim and Beersheba. Each
of them had a casemate wall and the interior homes were constructed so they
would actually be next to the casement as one of the dwelling rooms. What was
most interested, this style of
construction was never duplicated within any of the Canaanite towns nor those
cities of the Philistines and neither the cities of the Northern Kingdom of
Israel in Samaria.
Within the fortress of Khirbet Qeiyafa, one ostracon, a
trapezoid shaped pottery sherd was discovered in 2008. The five lines of
writing contained an amazing message. The Qeiyafa Ostraca
As reported in the Biblical Archeological Review,
Gerard Leval analyzed the message of the Qeiyafa Ostracon in light of the
creation of the first Kingdom of Israel. Using the scholarship of the highly
respected French epigrapher, Émile Puech’s interpretation of the Qeiyafa
Ostracon, we read the following:
Do not oppress, and serve G-d…despoiled him/her
The judge and the widow wept; he had the power
Over the resident alien and the child, he eliminated them together
The men and chiefs/officers have established a king
He marked 60 [?] servants among the communities/habitations/generation.
This is
with an amazing insight that possibly merges with the rapid change in the
Israelites social culture of the Judges into the royal monarchial culture of
the Kings of Judah and later the Hasmonean priestly rulers of the Maccabees.
Then
in January 1, 2010, Professor Galil
deciphered the Qeiyafa Ostraca which this dramatic text that would merge
flawlessly with the era of the Jewish prophets. The text lines state the
following:
You shall not do [it], but worship the
[Lord].
Judge the sla[ve] and the wid[ow] /
Judge the orph[an]
[and] the stranger. [Pl]ead for the
infant / plead for the po[or and]
the widow. Rehabilitate [the poor] at
the hands of the king.
Protect the po[or and] the slave /
[supp]ort the stranger.
Suddenly a new reality about the beginnings of the Judean
monarchy was beginning to unfold. Here was a Hebrew document at the Biblical
Shaarayim, where King Saul kept a large contingent of his Israelite soldiers.
To the west in the Plain of Elah, the Philistine army was encamped, taunting
the Israelites and parading their new battle warrior, the giant Goliath before
the Israelites warriors. This was not unlike modern Russia and Iran parading
their missiles in yearly celebrations to taunt those internationalists that may
oppose their entry into the global arena of world dominion.
Today, the excavators at Khirbet Qeiyafa have identified
this site as the Biblical Shaarayim, where Dovid ben Yishai (David son of
Jesse), the young red headed sheep herder going to take food and provisions to
his brothers who were soldiers for the new anointed King Saul would soon match
up against the Philistine human armored tank. But first young David meets the
new Israelite king, Saul who in consternation was not able to make a military
decision on how to topple this raving giant. David nearby ponders why there was
so much commotion in the camp.
The story is today one of the greatest children’s stories
of all times where David makes the choice to confront the Philistines new
military weapon of mass destruction. David discards all the trappings of
military defense from the shields, spears, plus body armaments and helmets, and
take his own shepherd garb plus a sling shot and introduces the first cannon
ball, a stone, that topples the giant to the ground. With the quick and
decisive swing of the giant’s sword, reduces this “invincible weapon” to a
headless heap of humanity.
Consumed by the stories and the trappings that surround
this ostracon, we are suddenly enthralled with the only known biblical text
found in archeology about the rise of the Israelite’s first king, King
Saul. The context of this era is
centered amongst the transformation of the Israelite social culture from the
era of the biblical judges, like Sampson and Eli, to the rise of a centralized
royal government under King Saul and later Kings David and Solomon.
Here were the days, in which the sons of Eli did not
follow in the pathway of their father to become future judges of Israel. The
young lad, Samuel, living in the home of Eli the Judge soon became part of the
great Israelite transition from judges to monarchs within the cultural milieu
of the Children of Israel. Even so, the sons of Samuel also did not choose to
follow the moral upright standards of their father, and now the elders in
Israel were asking the Prophet Samuel to anoint for them a new king to lead
them and give governance as the Philistines were seeking to surround them like
Hamas, al Qaeda and Hizbullah are seeking to surround the State of Israel
today. In spite of Samuel’s reluctance, the G-d of Israel leads Samuel,
Israel’s moral leader of Israel to anoint Saul as the first monarch of the
Kingdom of Israel.
If we are to believe the Émile Puech’s interpretation of
the Qeiyafa Ostracon text, then within the context of this ostracon we begin to
see the parallels between King Saul. In
the Bible, Samuel’s sons do not follow his moral ways, and the elders ask
Samuel to appoint a king to lead Israel. Despite his initial resistance to the
idea, Samuel is guided to Saul, whom he appoints as the first monarch of the
Kingdom of Israel.
If one follows Puech’s translation, the text from Khirbet
Qeiyafa is the first artifact to reference Israel’s first king, King Saul. It
was Gerard Leval who provided the purpose of the narrative and their parallels
with the Qeiyafa Ostracon and the Biblical text in the TaNaKh concerning the
G-d moral obligations of the new King of Israel on the governance of the new
fledling Israeli state;
The government need
for righteous judges who will not oppress the foreigner and those less
fortunate; the need for
The moral abiding
citizens in the new State of Israel to establish righteous laws to protect the
poor, the affirmed and the widows; plus
The establishment of
the moral obligation of governance protecting the populations from annihilation;
and the
The establishment of
a royal household for the king, with government officials, chamberlains and servants
to serve the king with the divine injunctions not to oppress but to serve the
G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

2012, Gerald Leval’s article, titled, “Ancient Inscription Refers to the Birth
of Israelite Monarchy”, the Émile Puech’s
interpretation of the Qeiyafa Ostracon is explored in greater depth. Here the
regional site of Shaarayim after David slays the Philistine giant Goliath, we
then note that the Israelites were now in pursuit of the Philistines. According
to I Samuel 17:52, this pursuit took them “on the way to Shaarayim”
(two-gates). As such King Saul truly
appears to have been originally associated with this new royal center and may
have taken its first possession after the David’s great victory for King Saul
over the Philistines.
Here began Israel’s first assent into prominence in terms
of its relationship with their nemesis the Philistines to the west. We can
perceive hints of how both Israelite mercenary leader, David and the newly
inaugurated King Saul were both prominent in the rise of the royal and
administrative center at Khirbet Qeiyafa with the installation of a centralized
royal court and administration in Jerusalem and also a secondary court, palace
and administrative center overlooking the region of the frontier provinces
towards Philistia.
Even if this administration’s rule were to begin with the
accession of King Saul as the new king of Israel, the soon after entrance of
David as a the “military hero” to the entire Jewish populous thrust this young
lad not only as a courtier or advisor to King Saul, but even gave David’s
special skills of sedating the paranoid king with intoxicating music new
meaning.
This suggests that even though this ostracon inscription
message is focused on the transitional period between the era of the judges and
the newly established monarchy, the message still rings true to both kings and
stands alone as the only and oldest biblical account of the formation of the
first monarchial Kingdom of Israel.
Then we are reminded almost four hundred years later,
after the last King of Israel, Zedekiah is blinded and taken into captivity at
Babylon the Prophet Zechariah recounts these same words to the Jewish civilians
in the post-monarchial era of Jewish history when after seventy years of
captivity, the Jews begin their aliyah back to Jerusalem. Here in the courtyard
of the new Jewish Temple of Zerubabbel as it is about to be completed, the Prophet
Zechariah focuses the eyes of the Jews to the far distant future, when at the
end of the age, when the Maschiach ben Dovid (Messiah son of David) is
inaugurated and establishes his messianic rule in the “world to come”, we read
these words:
Zechariah
7:8-10 – “The word of HaShem came to Zechariah, saying: “Speak to all the
people of the land and to the Kohanim, saying: Thus spoke HaShem, Master of
Legions, saying: ‘Judge with truthful justice, and perform kindness and mercy
towards one another. Do not oppress the widow and the orphan, the stranger and
the poor, and do not think in your hearts of wronging one another.”
So as in our modern world we perceive again the finger of
the Divine dividing the nations that are surrounding Israel. As David son of
Jesse would later go forth and slay his tens of thousands, so also the rise of
the United Kingdom of Israel would be perceived as the most blessed of nations.
Riches of gold, silver and jewels began to flow into the control of the
elevating majesty of the Davidian Kingdom of Israel and an era of righteousness
would bring this legendary land created by the hand of HaShem the G-d of Israel
where the G-d of Creation first created Adam and Chavah (Eve) in the garden of
Eden here upon Mount of Zion in Jerusalem.
This great revelation of the western “two gated” capital
of the United Kingdom of Kings David and Solomon that has been unearthed at
Khirbet Qeiyafa at the sight of the Biblical Shaarayim, will only be the
beginning of the revelations of the Jews and the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel’s
joint historical past. Soon there will be a reunion, and joining of the
brotherhood that should never have been severed that will then in the wake of
these glorious unveiling of Kings David and Solomon’s United Kingdom, for the
message must be told, loud and clear that David, son of David will come and be
revealed as the anointed messiah in the soon coming “world to come.”
With these glorious events beginning to unfold in our
future, we will now turn back to the even greater majesty of the Palace of King
David that was erected on Mount Zion. We wonder what the G-d of Israel is
planning in our near future, with all of these wondrous evidences in biblical
archeology that have been revealed that Kings David and Solomon were truly the
regal imperial giants of the ancient world. What the prophetic testimony does
affirm, when the messianic era of the Maschiach ben Dovid (Messiah son of

who claimed He birthed them, nurtured them, and will preserve them for
