It was a fateful day eight years ago on Christmas 2004, when the 3rd largest earthquake on modern seismic record ripped along the island nation of Sumatra. Registered at 9.1 magnitudes the unsuspecting populous all around the Indian Ocean from Sumatra to Africa witnessed a monster-tsunami that killed up to 250,000 people in 14 separate countries.
It was with alarm that on April 11, 2012, two large earthquakes; one that registered at an 8.7 magnitude and the other 8.2 magnitude quake two hours later erupted almost simultaneously. The alarms went out but this time only a small ripple less than one foot tall rippled upon the shores of Sumatra. As Andrea Mustain, staff writer with Our Amazing Planet wrote on September 27, 2012, in the article titled, “Weird 2012 Earthquake signals Tectonic Plate Birth;”
Andrea Mustain – “After millions more years of similar earthquakes, the ruptures will begin to favor a particular path, giving rise to a new plate boundary, and separating today’s existing plate into two.”
What became quickly evident to the scientists around the world, this was an unbelievable event recorded in nature, this time visible to man and recorded for scientific evaluation. The first things that was quickly noticed by the global network of seismometers, both of these earthquakes were strike-slip earthquakes that occur when a fault line with two side are jolted and displaced sideways.
This is like what will be expected along the famous San Andreas Fault that is expected soon; an earthquake will race down the coastline of California and fragment the state in two. It will leave an ocean or inland sea with devastation to California far exceeding the San Francisco Earthquake in 1906 in its wake. Tsunamis are not created with strike-slip earthquakes because the two sides of the fault line are displaced sideways, rather than subduction earthquakes that shove the ocean floor upwards, a requirement needed to produce a tsunami.
Understandably, subduction earthquakes are the most powerful earthquakes on Planet Earth. They occur at plate boundaries like the Indian Plate and the Eurasian Plate where one tectonic plate, the western Indian end of the Indo-Australian Plate is grinding under beneath the Himalaya Mountains. And here then is what makes these two earthquakes remarkable.
As noted above, in 2004, the Sumatra-Andaman Rupture of the western end of the Sunda Plate was just west of Sumatra. It collapsed in a massive subduction zone. It was six years later, in 2010 that the water flooding stressors upon the western Pakistani end of the Indo-Australian Plate caused the plate under the Western Pakistan to collapse down about ten feet. A new subduction zone was created along the ancient river pathway of the Indus-River Valley traversing from the Himalayas Mountain peaks to the Indian Ocean. This was the home of the Pashtun Tribes who call themselves the “Bani Israelites”; the Lost Tribes of Israel left behind in Western Pakistan, Eastern Afghanistan and Northern Iran.
Called “flooding”, the entire region of this vast verdune and very fertile region became a lake region; not like pristine lakes but tepid lakes for the putrid water could no longer empty out into the Indian Ocean for this region was now lower in elevation than the Indian Ocean to the south.
Soon it was noticed that the Island of Java, within the central and southern subduction zone of the Sunda Plate was tilting and the northern oceanic coastline of the Island of Java just north of the capital of Jakarta was now sinking twenty plus feet underwater. No, this was not oceanic elevation from global warming, but rather land subduction from seismic activity that in most global vernacular are called, “Acts of G-d”. It was caused by heating up of the magnetic core engine in the center of the earth as immense plumes of magma rising up to beneath the mantle of the earth triggered the eruption of sub-sea volcanoes and earthquakes down deep in the oceanic trenches of the oceans.
Even though the April 11 earthquake was a strike-slip earthquake, it packed the punch of some of the greatest earthquakes in recorded history. It packed a wallop larger than the March 11, 2011 Sendai Earthquake in Japan. Consider alone the seven powerful events that were triggered by the Japanese earthquake:
- According to Richard Gross at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, the Japanese Sendai earthquake accelerated our planet’s spin and shortened the length of the 24 hour day by 1.8 microseconds.
- According to scientists at the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellites, the Japanese earthquake thinned the earth’s crust slightly and reduced the local gravity field. With the post-quake gravity field change again when the crust settles back down?
- The Japanese earthquake shook the entire globe and also its atmosphere. The earthquake surface motion and its tsunami triggered waves into the atmosphere creating ripples of electrically charged particles at high as 220 miles in the atmosphere.
- The earthquake’s tsunami swarmed the Sulzberger Ice Shelf, 8,000 miles away and 18 hours later in the Antarctica and broke off the first sections of the ice shelf in 46 years that total an area of ice greater than the surface area of Manhattan New York.
- The seismic wages of the Sendai Earthquake, according to GPS station data sped up the ice flow of the Whillans Glacier (river of ice) moving at 3 feet per day, to a rapid movement of 1.5 feet as it moved from the interior of the Antarctica to the Ross Ice Shelf on the oceanic front.
- The earthquake set off thousands of micro-quakes (< magnitude 3) and tremors around the entire globe from the Aleutians, Alaska, Vancouver, Washington, Oregon and California states, plus low-quake regions of Nebraska, Arkansas, Beijing and Cuba.
- It also ruptured the sea floor of the coastline of Japan, ripping open parts of the sea floor pushing some of the floor of the ocean upwards, created cracks in the ocean floor 3-6 feet apart and 10,500 to 17,500 feet below the ocean surface.

Yet, the affect of the plate and tectonic movements that started with the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami continued to move eastward. In the summer of 2011, the entire regions of Southeast Asia was seen going under water because of collapsing tectonic plates. This included the whole southern region of Thailand near Bangkok went under water, with the exception of central downtown Bangkok that was only about three feet above the water flood line.
Once again, like in Pakistan, and later in Indonesia, and then over to Viet Nam, Cambodia, and Laos, and later to the Philippines, the continuous process of plate subduction continued to be visible; while the mantra of the governmental bodies was always in denial; severe flooding or continuous rains for months.
The scientists exploring these new earthquakes are not only puzzled; they are baffled. Their first data was amazing, for the dual earthquakes on April 11 showed that it was the largest strike-slip earthquake ever recorded in history. It’s unprecedented power hit not the edge but the middle of the immense Indo-Australian Plate. It was Thorne Lay, professor of earth and planetary science at the University of California in Santa Cruz whose teams plotted the seismic blow one by one throughout its entire course of history and recorded for the first time that this was the first “earthquake that was able to turn corners. As Lay reported:
Thorne Lay – “It's totally unusual…It turns out that the quake began on one fault, streaking along at more than a mile per second, and, when it reached an intersecting fault, it ruptured that one, too. In all, it ruptured four different faults over the course of 150 seconds, unleashing an amount of energy equivalent to about four magnitude-8.0 earthquakes…
Typically, when earthquakes spread to connecting faults, the rupture rips along faults that branch away from the initial fault like the branches of a river. These earthquakes raced along in a grid-like pattern, making 90-degree turns along faults that resemble a lattice. Here, they really do seem to go along perpendicular faults, and we haven't seen anything like that with a big earthquake…that is giving birth to the Earth’s newest tectonic plate.”
In the region of the earthquake, we note that the Indian portion of this vast plate is in a colossal collision with the Eurasian plate as the Indian plate is being pushed under the Himalayas, the highest mountains on Planet Earth. It is believed by many earth change researchers that the Continent of India is doomed to be totally destroyed as it disappears under the Himalayas. A third the way around the globe over in Australia, the eastern sector of the tectonic plate continues its forward movement unhindered by any major plates or obstacles.
Not recognized my most of the populous of the world, this dual-earthquake along Sumatra’s western edge on the Indo-Australian Plate made the entire world shutter. The entire world quaked with it.
As the two mega-quakes ripped through that immense plate, the most profound implication was the fact that the Indo-Australian Plate was “being torn in two.” As Matthias Delescluse at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France reported in the New Scientist article titled, “Earth cracking up under Indian Ocean:”
Matthias Delescluse – “They analysed quakes in the area since December 2004, when a magnitude-9.1 quake in a subduction zone near Sumatra triggered a devastating tsunami. They found earthquakes during this period were nearly 10 times more frequent compared with the previous eight years. What's more, 26 of the quakes that happened between December 2004 and April 2011 were similar to the 11 April quakes in that they involved rocks being pushed and pulled in the same directions.”

discovered and reported in Nature, (DOI:
10.1038/nature11504), that the “global rate of quakes with a magnitude of 5.5 or greater
increased almost fivefold in the six days after 11 April - something that has
never been seen before, even after very large earthquakes.”
The Breakup of the Indo-Australian Plate
What was know, the Indian-Pakistan portion of the “Plate” was moving north at 3.7 cm per year. It was destined to be “left behind” as the faster moving Australian portion of the “Plate” was moving more rapidly at 5.2 cm per year. Soon it will wrap around the Sunda Plate shoving it into the Philippine Sea Plate and possibly collapsing and searing off the Sunda Plate from its attachment to China, Thailand, plus Viet-Nam, Cambodia and Laos regions of the southeastern region of the Eurasian Plate.
Even so, the scientific opinion does have its dissenters. John McCloskey with the University of Ulster in Coleraine, UK, is not convinced with Thorne Lay’s conclusion that a new tectonic plate is being formed, or out of the fragmentation of a larger plate, two smaller plates will be formed.
Yet Lingsen Meng at the University of California at Berkeley who spent looking at the rupture pattern data concludes:
Lingsen Meng – “I think it's a fair argument that the 11 April earthquakes may mark the birth of a plate boundary. Things should become clearer as more earthquakes shake the region.”
The evidence if really understood will not just shake the regions surrounding India to Indonesia, but also shake the whole world. The G-d of Israel is purposefully dismantling the whole earth in order to bring to fruition; the coming of the Kingdom of G-d on earth with the Messiah son of David (Maschiah ben Dovid).
To do this, His Divine Plan; “Paradise Lost - Paradise Restored” will begin with “The Tectonic Destruction of Planet Earth”. One of the planetary emissaries of this Divine judgment may come from planetary destruction as reported in the blog titled, “The Twin Star Nibiru as G-d’s emissary of Divine Judgment”.
The unfolding of G-d’s judgment upon Planet Earth will be witnessed by the “Ten Planetary Tectonic Plate Shifts bringing Catastrophic Destruction to Planet Earth” while His Divine purpose to create a New Eden (Gan Eden) will be witnessed by the “Remodeling Planet Earth in Preparation for the Return of All Israel.”

As the seismic changes are gradually increasing in a crescendo like pattern around the world, the words of the Prophets of Israel are coming with greater clarity before our eyes. The G-d of Creation is gradually dismantling Planet Earth as He remolds this earth into the world that will host the “Kingdom of G-d in the World to Come”. Yet, there are no words in the Bible that stand out in such stark contrasts as the facts that the mountains of Israel in Shomron and Judea are strategically a part of the prophetic drama that will envelop the Land of Israel at the time of the end and remodel the Middle East into a Greater Israel.
