The April 11, 2011 uprising of the People of Homs, Syria
According to Israel National News, the Syrian President Bashar Assad has transferred a battery of advanced missiles to the al-Masna border crossing according to Israeli Channel 10 News. This route is the central corridor that Syria uses to transfer military equipment and weapons to the Hizbullah terrorist in Northern Lebanon.
According to Syrian opposition informants, this same border site includes two major Syrian chemical arsenals just 24 kilometers from the Hizbullah missile base that was first revealed by the London Times in May of 2010. If military action and war were to erupt, this chemical weapons base is only 68 kilometers from the Lebanese border where weapons of mass destruction could be transferred within 60-120 minutes.
Earlier Channel 10 also reported that Assad was deploying anti-aircraft missiles in the nearby village of Yabous that sits on an outcropping ridge overlooking the al-Masna border crossing. They were prepared to strike at any Israeli fighters that could be attacking military convoys moving along that military axis.

Then on Friday, DEBKAfiles reported that a Russian Naval convoy of three ships with 120 marines each was preparing to dock in their naval port at Tartus in the Mediterranean Sea along the Syrian border. At the same time, DEBKAfiles reported:
DEBKAfiles – “US, Israeli, Saudi and Iranian war preparations are on fast forward…All their leaders face agonizing decisions in the weeks ahead. US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is on a tour of inspection to make sure US Middle East military forces are ready for an operation against Iran. Its timeline is now pared down to weeks because Iran's ongoing mega-fortifications threaten to make its nuclear facilities indestructible - even by American super-weapons.”
The smoke signals of war are rising all over the Middle East. It was as early in August of 2011 that Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin warned that “NATO is planning a military campaign against Syria to help overthrow the regime of President Bashar al-Assad with a long-reaching goal of preparing a beachhead for an attack on Iran,...”Now the Russian Navy is presently engaging the naval force of America and NATO in the Mediterranean Sea.” As Russia’s navy chief, Vice Admiral Viktor Chirkov has confirmed, the Russian Navy will be carrying marines, performing military maneuvers yet will not be “engaged in Syrian Tasks.”

In a rare moment of transparency, the Russian Ministry of Defense outlined for the first time on July 25 that Russians warships were passing through the Strait of Gibraltar heading to the Russian Tartu base on the Syrian Mediterranean coastline. The lead ship is the anti-submarine and anti-aircraft Admiral Chabanenko warship plus three convoy vessels with Russian marines. In total, the Russian flotilla will include 12 shift from 3 Russian fleets will rendesvoux with several hundred marines all prepared if necessary to land on Syrian soil.
To counter the Russians, the US-NATO) alliance is sending a significant beefed up armada from the west, that will included ships from Great Britain, France and the United States. Like back in 2001, when the Gulf War was clearly concentrating its military forces in the Mediterranean Sea, it appeared that an attack against Iraq would be using the airspace of Lebanon and Syria to get to Saddam Hussein’s forces in Iraq.
It appeared at that time that a Zechariah 9 style assault on Syria, Lebanon, and Syria (Damascus) that would include Tyre, Sidon, and Gaza was in the making but the hand of the Divine held back the four winds of strike and Israel was protected. This is where you can model our prophetic future all we want to, but the Almighty One of Israel is still in charge to render His justice whenever He so chooses. Instead of a military assault we may be on the brink of seeing major earthquake and tsunami that will bring destruction upon all the cities along the Mediterranean eastern coastline as accounted for in the Destination Yisra’el’s blog titled, “Oracles of G-d against the Syrians in Damascus, Hizballah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.”
While the Occidental US-NATO alliance could be engaging the Oriental prone Russian navy, the planned naval deployment is to coordinate an allied ground operation to support the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) and it is actively also recruiting and training Middle Eastern fighters in Turkey, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The one great nations that are not in the fray is the Nation of China.
Whatever will be, the prophecies of Daniel 8 are quite clear suggesting that Russian and China are both the “great horns” that bolsters the power, prowess, and arrogance of the “Persian” government in the State of Iran. France's Charles De Gaulle Aircraft Carrier
It was the Franco-British "Response Force Task Group" that were the first to enter the Mediterranean Sea preparing to conduct war games that are codenamed Exercise Cougar 12 (2012). This will involve the task forces of Britain's HMS Bulwark and the France's Charles De Gaulle carrier battle groups who will have simulated attacks on the shorelines by of “enemy territory”.
Yet, is the real reason that this military navy flotilla is there is to be prepared for humanitarian efforts in Lebanon and Syria, not unlike the American carrier system that miraculously was just days away from the midnight 9.4 magnitude mega-quake and tsunami that occurred in the Indian Ocean and killed over 250,000 people from Indonesia to India. As reported in the BibleSearchers Reflections article, titled, “The Asian Indonesian Tsunami and the Globalist’s bid to Control the Nations of the Earth”:
BibleSearchers Reflections – “The command center for humanitarian operations was out of the American Naval base in Diego Garcia, the southernmost island of the Chagos Archipelago, 1000 miles south of India and 2000 miles from the earthquake site.
Just behind the landing of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force, the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group in Hong Kong was diverted to the Gulf of Thailand. This carrier fleet included 12 helicopters which were designated as “extremely valuable” in the recovery missions. There were 25 additional helicopters on the USS Bonhomme Richard which were sent to the Bay of Bengal with seven ships, 2,100 Marines and 1,400 sailors with 4 Cobra helicopters for reconnaissance surveillance. To assist were to be seven ships designed to produce 90,000 gallons of fresh water daily. Five were already ‘pre-positioned’ in Guam and two in Diego Garcia. A field hospital ship was also sent to the area from Guam.
In all these humanitarian expeditions, it has come with the appearance of a military take-over according to many observers. It was in many observers’ eyes none other than a show of force to establish an American hegemony presence in the region that is over 65 % Moslems. A truce between rebel factions and the government came back into effect while relief workers assisted the local population in assisting the survivors on the island nation.
From reliable reports, 93% of the United States Navy were on the high seas at the time. America had fleets of ships ready to be dedicated for the purpose of rendering humanitarian aid to countries in need, with hospital ships, water producing ships and division of troops ready for deployment. In the light of the rest of the global events, were they there to liberate, relieve suffering or to carry the banner of freedom and democracy to a country that is in an ideological war with America?”
All of a sudden there was a hospital ship, water desalination plant and battalions of marines to assist in the search and recovery, plus the reclamation and restoration of Islamic Indonesia back in the world of “cooperating nations”. This time in the Mediterranean, a military taskforce is preparing for a “humanitarian evacuation of British nations from the Middle East” on a “naval fleet of vast WMDs”.
The British Task Forces is also expected to be bolstered the HMS Illustrious helicopter carrier, alongside with the HMS Bulwark amphibious ship plus advance destroyers to protect the task force. To assist in the Syrian operation will be several hundred Royal Marine commandos, plus AH-64 attack helicopters that were used in the Libyan campaign in 2011.
The French task forces headed by the Charles De Gaulle carrier battle group, one of Europe’s most advanced carriers will be bringing the Rafale fighter jets. As Michel Chossudovsky writes in Global Research.ca report titled, “The US-NATO War on Syria: Western Forces confront Russia off the Syrian Coastline?”:
Michel Chossudovsky – “This massive deployment of naval power is an act of coercion with a view to terrorizing the Syrian people. The threat of military intervention purports to destabilize Syria as a nation state as well as confront and weaken Russia's role in brokering the Syrian crisis.
The UN diplomatic game is at an impasse. The UN Security Council is defunct. The transition is towards Twenty-first Century "Warship Diplomacy". While an all out allied military operation directed against Syria is not "officially" contemplated, military planners are currently involved in preparing various "intervention scenarios” as reported by Daily Mail on July 24, 2012:
Daily Mail – “Western political leaders may have no appetite for deeper intervention. But as history has shown, we do not always choose which wars to fight - sometimes wars choose us. ‘Military planners have a responsibility to prepare for intervention options in Syria for their political masters in case this conflict chooses them. ‘Preparation will be proceeding today in several Western capitals and on the ground in Syria and in Turkey. ‘Up to the point of Assad’s collapse, we are most likely to see a continuation or intensification of the under-the-radar options of financial support, arming and advising the rebels, clandestine operations and perhaps cyber warfare from the West. ‘After any collapse, however, the military options will be seen in a different light.’”
The evacuation plan using the most advanced military hardware includes the HMS Bulwark, while the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier is an obvious smokescreen. The not so hidden agenda is military threat and intimidation directed against a sovereign nation located in the historical cradle of civilization in Mesopotamia:
Daily Mail – “The Charles De Gaulle alone is a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with an entire squadron of jets more advanced than anything the Syrians have -- is sparking speculation that those forces could become involved in a NATO operation against Syrian forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad...The HMS Illustrious, which is currently sitting on the Thames in central London, will likely only be sent to the region after the end of the Olympics.”
This impressive deployment of Franco-British naval power could also include the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier, which is to be sent back to the Middle East:
Daily Mail – “[On July 16, 2912], the Pentagon also confirmed that it would be redeploying the USS John C. Stennis, a nuclear-powered supercarrier capable of carrying 90 aircraft, to the Middle East... The Stennis would be arriving in the region with an advanced missile-launching cruiser,..The carrier USS Eisenhower is already expected to be in the Middle East by that time (two carriers currently in the region are to be relieved and sent back to the U.S.).”
While all of these events are occurring in the Mediterranean, the Saudi government is in lock-down as the terrified Saudi royal government is in an information black-out when the General Intelligence headquarters in Riyadh was hit by a bomb blast on July 23, 2012. This was first suspected to have been a Syrian and Iranian revenge for the recent bomb explosion in Damascus five days earlier where four of Bashar Assad’s top military directors of his war against the Free Syrian rebels were assassinated.
At the Riyadh Intelligence Center explosion, Saudi Intelligence chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan’s deputy, Mashaal al-Qarni was reportedly slain. Yet since that day, the Intelligence chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the son of the late Crown Prince Sultan has not been seen and now is suspected to have been assassinated also. This has been unofficially reported that Prince Bandar was also critically injured and lost the battle to save his life.
This incident was critical, for Saudi Intelligence chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan was only confirmed on July 19, a day after the Damascus bombing and now a Syrian intelligence death squad possibly with clandestine Iranian operatives struck at the heart of the Saudi military intelligence center. How much closer could they get to the Saudi royalty?
It is also of interest that a similar bombing attack was carried out within the Saudi Kingdom in 2003 and 2004 then by Al Qaeda terror operatives that were supplied by Iranian explosives, money and military intelligence. One of the operatives of that mission was Saif al-Adal who was later freed by Iran and returned to his Al-Qaeda nests in Pakistan.
This time, it is Tehran, trying to protect and preserve its most stalwart Arab ally, Syrian ruler Bashar Assad, and if the long arm of the Iranian intelligence was directing this recent attack against the Saudi throne, uprisings all over the Middle East, in Qatar, Turkey and Iran are also inevitable.
It has now been a year since Ramadan began on August 1, 2011 and the Syrian people’s revolt against the brutal regime of President Bashar Assad had already begun three months prior. Destination Yisra’el sent out a report at this time on August 12, 2011:

DEBKAfiles – “Contrary to official claims that they belonged to Syrian soldiers torn to pieces by protesters, DEBKAfile reports they (dead bodies) are the victims of Syrian tank fire and ZU-23 automatic anti-aircraft artillery trained on residential buildings and streets in the last 48 hours as the dead pile up in the streets.
Citizens cowering in their homes are throwing the dead out of windows and off roofs into the river. They are reliving the terrors of the massacre President Bashar Assad's father inflicted on this city of half-a-million in 1982 which left 30,000 dead.
Syrian armored forces shooting at random are now running into heavy resistance: Awaiting them are anti-tank traps and fortified barriers manned by protesters armed with heavy machine guns.”
Yet, the patriot resistance appeared to be overcoming the Syrian armored divisions. Recently one division ordered to be sent from its base in Qatana southwest towards Damascus was noted to be disintegrating as its officers and soldiers deserted taking and took with them the armored vehicles and weapons.
By August 4, the commander of the Syrian military began a full scale assault, rounding up any “suspected protestors” for execution. It was the decision of Gen. Mohammad Deeb Zeitoun, who was the head of the Syrian Political Security Department and Gen. Abdul-Fattah Qedssiyeh, the head of the Military Intelligence Department to order that hundreds of protestors were to be “executed by firing squad in the Nasser Square” without any summary trial or investigation.”
Now a year later, reports of up to 21,050 to 28,795 people have been killed, of which about half were civilians. This also included 10,800 armed combatants from both the Syrian army and rebel forces and upwards to 1,790 opposition protesters. Refugees have fled to the surrounding countries of Iraqi Kurdistan, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey, while the borders of Iraq are closed.
Syrian President Bashar Assad is about to toppled the legacy of his father with 30,000 massacred back in 1982. Along with the deaths of Syrian civilians, tens of thousands of protesters have been imprisoned along with reports of widespread torture in the Syrian government operated prisons.
The Systematic Destruction of Syrian Cities in the Syrian Civil War – June 13, 2012
It is time for us to comprehend that the G-d of Israel is the Sovereign G-d of the Universe and is in control of the fates of the 70 nations of the world. For those who have persecuted and defamed the honor and the rights of the Jewish people to live in their ancestral homelands, and have sought their extermination will witness the judgments of G-d upon their lands; measure for measure.
The finger of the Divine is actively working to shape the Future of His Divine Land; Israel.
It is incomprehensible that President Bashar Assad has stored these chemical weapons for any other purpose except for the extermination of the Jewish people. Not only that, they were not Assad’s but the chemical weapons of mass destruction that Saddam Hussein had developed to be used against the Jewish state, but just before the Gulf War of 1990, were shipped into Syria and the Beqaa Valley for storage and hiding.
It was one year ago on August 11, 2011 that Destination Yisra’el wrote in the blog titled, “The Orontes River Runs with Syrian Blood heralds End of Assad Rule: Soon Assyria will be Assimilated into the Israeli Economy” As written in part:
Destination Yisra’el – “The price for Syria’s Assad will now be that the Syrian Iraqi border will be “cornered” by the road networks under the Sunni tribes that surround the two eastern towns. With Syria in alliance with Shi’ite Iran, her few oil fields and pipelines that produce and transport $8-10 million that is sustaining the Syrian war will now come under attack and sabotage by the Sunni tribes.
Yet, the stage is being prepared by the G-d of Israel to eventually pull Assad’s Syria into the political and spiritual area of Greater Israel. This is not just propaganda for a larger Zionist State but has been the bulwark of the message of the prophets of Israel of a future alliance between Syria, Egypt and Israel.
Isaiah 17:1-3 – “A prophecy concerning Damascus: Behold, Damascus will be negated from being a city, and it will be a heap of rubble. Deserted will be the cities of Aroer; they will be for flocks that will lie down with none to disturb them. The stronghold will cease from Ephraim, and monarchy from Aram; they will be like the glory of the Children of Israel – the word of Hashem, Master of Legions.”
Isaiah 19:23 – “On that day there will be a road from Egypt to Assyria; Assyrian will come into Egypt and Egyptian into Assyria, and Egypt will serve Hashem with Assyria. On that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the land, for Hashem, Master of Legions will bless them saying, ‘Blessed is My people, Egypt; and the work of My hands, Assyria; and My heritage, Israel.’”
The City of Damascus under Siege by Free Syrian Rebels
The Name, “Damascus” means a “sack full of blood; the similitude of burning.” How appropriate for the city that is known as a “sack full of blood” to be reaping what it has sown as it now turns upon its own peoples. It was BibleSearchers Reflection who dug deep into the Damascus desire for a holocaust against the Israeli Jews in 2006. This was Assad’s gift to the Jewish State for the Sharon government in an act of appeasement seeking the good will of the Islamic nations and the world by doing a most ignoble act of forcibly exiling its own people on Tisha B’Av, the 9th of Av 2005 from their homes along the Mediterranean Sea in the region of Gaza. BibleSearchers Reflections – “It was the apocalyptic prophet Isaiah that gave another “Burden” or Oracle against the city of Damascus before the days of Zechariah.
Isaiah 17:1 – “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.”
Some Biblical scholars claim that this prophecy has never been fulfilled. And so it may. Yet even as a ruinous heap in past destructions, it may have been inhabited. Yet for a moment in time, it did cease to be a city when the forces of Tiglath-pilesar “went up against Damascus.” The fate of Damascus was tied to the fate of the tribe of Ephraim and the cities of Aroer that were built by the tribe of Gad to the east of Jordan.
Isaiah 17:2-3 – “The cities of Aroer are forsaken; they will be for flocks which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria; they will be as the glory of the children of Israel,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
As BibleSearchers, it is our prophetic assumption that every prophecy given to the children of Israel and their descendants did have literal application, in part, in the days in which they were prophesied. Yet the final conclusion of all the prophecies of the ancient prophets of Israel will converge into a large river of prophetic fulfillment at the time of the end.
Here Zechariah and Isaiah point to the fate that again, “Damascus will cease from being a city” and the ruins of this mighty city will become as a “ruinous heap.” The prophet Amos brings to the prophetic table a new understanding that might be applicable to this present era. As stated:
Amos 1:3 – “Thus says the Lord: “For three transgression of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with implements of iron.
But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad. I will also break the gate bar of Damascus and cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Aven (“sin”), and the one who hold the scepter from Beth Eden (House of Eden). The people of Syria shall go into captive to Kir (walled place),” says the Lord.”
Damascus has attacked the modern Nation of Israel in three major wars since Israel’s birth and independence in 1948. The first attack by Syria came as the “The War of Independence in1948” when the fledgling Nation of Israel in her infancy declared her independence on the day that the British Mandate expired on May 15, 1948. Immediately, the Arab countries of Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon formed an Arab coalition. Together they invaded the homeland of the newborn State of Israel. This invasion had one purpose: to declare genocide for the Jews under the mantra, “to push the Jews into the sea.”
The leader of the Arabs, who lived in the former British Mandate of Palestine, was Hajj Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem. He was the military organizer of the Arab wing of Hitler’s Nazi Army and was to have been arraigned for charges at Nuremberg when he escaped with British assistance in 1946.
The second attack on the Nation of Israel by Syria was the “The Six-Day War in 1967.” According to Samuel Katz, in “Battleground: Fact and Fantasy in Palestine” he wrote:
Samuel Katz – "Never in human history can an aggressor have made his purpose known in advance so clearly and so widely. Certain of victory, both the Arab leaders and their peoples threw off all restraint. Between the middle of May and fifth of June, world-wide newspapers, radio and, most incisively, television brought home to millions of people the threat of politicide bandied about with relish by the leaders of these modern states. Even more blatant was the exhilaration which the Arabic peoples displayed as the prospect of executing genocide on the people of Israel...
In those three weeks of mounting tension people throughout the world watched and waited in growing anxiety--or in some cases, in hopeful expectation--for the overwhelming forces of at least Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Iraq to bear down from three sides to crush tiny Israel and slaughter her people."
With the Egyptian troops gathering along the Israeli border in Sinai, Syrian forces massing on the Golan Heights 3000 feet above the farms and villages along Galilee, the nation of Israel went into complete mobilization. Egyptian President Nasser ordered the United Nations Emergency Protection forces out of the Sinai Peninsula. The inflammatory Arabic rhetoric shocked the international airwaves.
Egyptian President Gamal Nasser (May 18, 1967) – "As of today there no longer exists an international emergency force to protect Israel. We shall exercise patience no more. We shall not complain any more to the UN about Israel. The sole method we shall apply against Israel is total war, which will result in the extermination of Zionist existence."
Syrian Defense Minister Hafez Assad (May 20, 1967) – "Our forces are now entirely ready...to initiate the act of liberation itself, and to explode the Zionist presence in the Arab homeland....The time has come to enter into a battle of annihilation."
Iraqi President Abdur Rahman Aref (June 4, 1967) - "The existence of Israel is an error which must be rectified. This is our opportunity to wipe out the ignominy which has been with us since 1948. Our goal is clear - to wipe Israel off the map."
On June 5, 1967, Israel launched a pre-emptive strike against Egypt. The Sinai sector of the war collapsed and the Sinai Peninsula and the Gaza Strip were captured by Israel. The Nation of Jordan was urged to stay neutral, but also attacked Israel. The final conclusion was that Jordan lost the West Bank and the western side of Jerusalem. When the war was over on June 10, Israel had also captured the Golan Heights and was on the road to Damascus.
The third attack on the Nation of Israel by Syria was “The 1973 Yom Kippur War” On October 6, 1973, the nations of Syria and Egypt attacked Israel on a two pronged assault trying to force Israel to surrender the lands she had captured in the 1967 Six Days War. This attack came on the holiest day of the Jewish festival year; Yom Kippur.
The Nation of Israel, caught by surprise, was reeling in her human and military losses. On October 17, 1973, Saudi Arabia led the Arab dominated OAPEC (Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries to call an oil embargo against the United States and any country supporting Israel like the Netherlands. When the cease fire ended on October 22, 1973, the United States and Russia were almost in full confrontation with each other. The Israeli military captured 165 square miles from Syria while at the same time they encircled the entire Egyptian Third Army on the west bank of the Suez Canal.
The premeditated attack upon Israel was only highlighted that on August 23, 1973, six weeks prior to the Yom Kippur War, Saudi King Faisal met with Egyptian President Anwar Sadat at Riyadh to secretly negotiate a pact to use the “oil weapon” against the United States, Western Europe and Japan prior to the military assault by Egypt and Syria on October 6, 1973.

1973 Oil Embargo--in reaction to the US backing Israel in the 1973 Arab-Israeli war, OPEC nations voted to not sell oil to the US. This resulted in supplies drying up, and people not being able to buy gasoline because gas stations had none to sell--even at double the price (from $.25/gal. to $.50/gal). By 1979, the world price of oil reached US$80 a barrel (2004 prices).
The question that must be asked, will Syria for the fourth time attack Israel? Will she be willing to reap the promise of the G-d of Israel?

It is the Master of the Universe who created the laws of nature and set the orbits of the planets in their course around the sun. It is also He who guided the affairs of the nations. Every king or ruler on Planet Earth is there at His behest for it is the purpose of G-d to bring this world back into a full covenant relationship with Him.
In spite of the sins of Adam and Eve, and the effect it had upon the “Image of G-d” in which He created each of us to be. He gave one family a covenant of a relationship with Himself, and at the end of days, that covenant will be fulfilled to each of us who choose to be a part of the full redemption of the House of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. As this universe and solar system was created for mankind, and even though Eden was lost in that epochal day of the past, the G-d of Israel promised that Eden would be restored. Each of the prophets was a mini-window into the unknown future, but collectively they painted a broad stroked tapestry of the end of the era of man and the beginning of the era of the Messiah.
