The Cup of the Egyptian Vizier Joseph found in Benjamin’s Sack
Passover is a time when the Jewish world celebrates the greatest event in Jewish history; their emancipation from slavery in Egypt, the most powerful imperialistic power in the world. From there they were “returning to the lands of their forefathers”; the Promised Land of Israel. As we begin to dwell upon this august event, we must also consider that, for the first time in history since the Exodus, that we are entering an era of human history in which another Exodus may be about to begin; the return of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel to that land of their forefathers, and to reclaim the lands of their tribal inheritance.
This Passover may also become the inauguration of another great Exodus; the return of the Jewish people today living in the Diaspora. The day will come soon when the Jews of the Diaspora will have to accept the fact that they can no longer safely live a “life in the here and now” plus a “life in the world to come”; that the only safe place now and in the future will be the Land of Israel. Therefore, for the remaining Jews scattered around the world; it is time to “go home” in aliyah; the Jewish Hebrews returning to the Land of Israel.
It was about 3550 years ago that the ancient world witnessed what has been described as the “long hand of the L-rd”. Here were definitely “acts of G-d” that clearly could be seen as defending and protecting G-d’s chosen people.
It was an era of global catastrophes that not only affected the imperial nation of Pharaonic Egypt but all peoples and tribes around the world. The Exodus, as the G-d of Israel orchestrated these events to be was recounted as seven cosmic and catastrophic plagues that fell or occurred in the land of Egypt. They were calculated to the minute to be happening so that the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would be emancipated and allowed to go free, not as slaves racing away for their lives, but as freemen, carrying with them the wealth and the legacy of the nation of Egypt.
According to the sages of Judah, the Exodus was intertwined with one historical figure, Moses the prince of Egypt that would become the savior and the messiah to the children of Israel. Contrary to what many people think, Moses did not save the Jews. Rather HaShem, the G-d of Israel saved them, and Moshe (Moses) as he was called became an emissary of G-d and fulfilled his destiny as a messianic leader during a catastrophic and apocalyptic era. He led all the children of Israel, the entire twelve tribes of Israel to their Promised Land.
This “Promised Land” was not just any land, but the land that was given in “covenant by the G-d of Israel” to Abraham, and then reaffirmed in “covenant” to Isaac and Jacob. It was promised by HaShem, their G-d that it would be the land for their descendants forever; as long as this Solar System exists, or as long as humans dwell upon Planet Earth.
Concerning the “Covenant” that the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob made with each of the three patriarchs, a strong supposition that the Christian scholars and expositors of scripture have erred was the fact that the G-d of Israel entered into a bilateral covenant of two equal partners in a contractual relationship that would continue for eternity. That could not be true, unless we abominate the sovereignty of the G-d of Israel in failing to comprehend that sinful man will always break his covenants yet G-d is Eternal and a G-d of Truth so He will never abandon His side of the covenant. So, the biblical facts do exist that we are a covenanted people and so also we, as the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel are a people with destiny. This fact is bound by the honor of G-d’s holy Name.
Many are foolish to think that a “chosen one” is also a “saved one”. Rather let us consider that a “chosen one” is one chosen before birth for a covenanted mandate with G-d to be His emissary. That mission as His ambassador may also mean each one of our lives may be put to death, or like Joseph, being installed in a position of high authority with power and acclaim to become a messiah or savior not just to his own family, the “Children of Israel” but also even to the Egyptians or any of our neighbors who recognized the sovereignty of G-d.
Joseph, the Messiah and Savior of the Family of Jacob
According to the Parashas Shemos, the rabbinic commentaries on the Passover and the Exodus, the salvation of the Israelites did not come a day too soon, or a day too late. It was perfectly timed, according to the divine calendar for it came at the “appointed time”. Keep these imageries imbedded in your mind, for the parallels of the Exodus in Egypt have meaning far beyond our concept to fully fathom as they relate to the final redemption of the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel as well as for the Jews of the House of Judah in the final days called the “time of the end” when all prophecy of the Hebrews will be fulfilled.
It was now 210 years since the seventy member family of the Patriarch Jacob left Canaan and “descended” down into Egypt, to be saved by the Vizier of Egypt. This "exalted leader in Egypt" just happened by the Providence of G-d to be Jacob’s eldest son, Joseph, by his beloved wife, Rachel.
It would be another 94 years before the Pharaoh, “who knew not Moses” would rise and seek to put the children of Israel into oppression. This was not an act of brutally capturing and putting the Hebrew-Israelites into prison, but like today, the slow transformation of one’s social culture until all the freedoms you thought existed as the rights of the freeman to live, no longer exist.
Keep your minds open, for we are slowly descending into bondage and slavery; in America, Europe and all around the world. Today, as we look over the landscape of America, the song we use to sing; “This Land is your land, this Land is my land” has now changed its wording to be; “This land is not our land; this land is not your land.”
We are truly descending into what the sages of Judah called the 39th level of Tuma, or spiritual degradation. If you do not perceive that fact than you must reconsider that your “spiritual eyes” have become dimmed and in need of the “balm of Gilead” to restore your sight.
The Children of Israel were given a lot of privileges and perks of living in Egypt. They were living in the Nile Delta region to the North, a distance away from the Egyptian population regions near Giza and Heliopolis further south along the Nile River. This land was fertile, verdune, with an abundant of resources for an abundant life.
The children of Israel were a pastoral people, but the Egyptians were a highly civilized people, where civilized meaning a highly tiered hierarchical culture, where you had your place, and you must stay in your place. With the physical closeness of the social culture in which the Egyptian people lived in the “cities” with all the amenities of the metropolitan cultural life, embedded within this cultural life were all the degradations of society of which many call today; the pleasures and privileges of an advance social culture.
The G-d of Israel would later give to His people the words of guidance as described in the Shema Yisra’el, the Jewish prayer that is prayed three times daily by observant Jews. Embedded within this prayer is a thoughtful phrase which explains the perpetual human dilemma experienced by the ancient Hebrews and today affects significantly; the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel;
Shema Yisra’el – “us-chartem es kol mitzvos Adonoy, va-asisem osom, v’lo sosuru acharay l’vavchem v’acharay aynayshem, asher artem zonim acharayhem.
Hear O Israel - “…And remember all the commandments of HaShem and perform them; and you shall not explore after your heart and after your eyes after which you stray."
It is a spiritual ‘given’ in spiritual growth; read what HaShem the G-d of Israel says; believe it in its most simple and literal meaning and then do it! So not ask what your "heart" feels like doing, or what your “eyes” tells you what you believe is to be your true reality, for in doing so, you have strayed and abandoned the Life Source, and the Power of the One who will protect you.
According to the Jewish sages, the physical and spiritual protection of the children of Israel, all the way to the fourth generation, were protected by the righteousness of their forefathers. According to Rabbi Yaakov Kamenetsky, “Jacob was like the sun and his sons were like the stars. When the sun is out, the stars are not visible, but when the sun sets, the stars take over the sky.”
The Patriarch Jacob blessing the Sons of Joseph
When the Patriarch Jacob died, his spiritual righteousness was no longer there to protect his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Yet, at the same time, the twelve sons of Jacob spiritual stature ascended and kept the light of Torah righteousness brightly lit in spite of the ascending cultural darkness of living in the land of Egyptian idolatry and social depravity. They like us today, did not have a clue how our social culture continues to decay and become demoralized and desensitized all around us. As long as the children of Israel understood firmly their true cultural and genetic roots, they were only in a geographic exile yet not in a spiritual exile. When they used their feelings or what looked “pleasant to the eyes”, and abandoned their parents and grandparents as “wells of truth and enlightenment”, they were led down the slippery slope to their destruction.
In reality, the moment the Hebrew family of Jacob had settled in the region of Goshen in Northern Egypt, they were in exile; a physical exile. “They would remain in exile until they returned back to the lands of their patriarchal forefathers.” So today, we also are in a physical exile.
One of the Jewish sages, called “Sforno” [Rabbi Ovadiah Sforno (Obadiah ben Jacob Sforno (1470-1550)] a 16th c. Jewish Italian scholar and rationalist of Rome and Bolgna who wrote a Classical commentary on the Pentateuch stated that to the Hebrew-Israelites; there were three levels of Hebrew righteousness or greatness, which the Jews call “Tzaddiks” or “righteous ones”. They were the three patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; the twelve tribal ancestors, called the sons of Jacob; and the seventy souls that came to Egypt with the Patriarch Jacob.
When their Patriarch Jacob died, living in the land of Goshen became more difficult. Unbeknown to them, they were perceived by the Egyptians as becoming more and more a threat to the Egyptian culture and Egyptian way of life.
When Joseph their brother, “the Chosen One” who became their messiah and savior, and who also retained his spiritual righteousness, died, the respect that was given to Joseph for the great agrarian programs he instituted and thereby saved the Egyptian culture from collapsing into starvation and doom, was historically suppressed and a “New Pharaoh” with the acumen to develop a neo-revisionary history of Egypt rose into power.
The Egyptians were a brilliant people and had an advance culture even earlier than the era of Joseph, Moses and the children of Israel. Their antiquarians understood full well that under the waters of the Great Sea to their north, today called the Mediterranean Sea, were over 300 megalithic cities where peoples of greater antiquity once lived in an earlier era of catastrophes and calamities called the Great Noachian Flood.
These peoples and their cultures vanished from sight never to be remembered again except in the ancient traditions of the folklore of their era. So also they feared that these people, whose reproductive rate was a phenomenon would soon become a threat to their own lives. Instead of assimilating into the Egyptian culture, their culture was stronger, with a spiritual assent that gave them destiny. This “destiny” to the Hebrew-Israelites was a threat to the Egyptians.
This threat of social culture of assimilation is also well-known and understood in America today. The social cultural fears of America of the growing populations of “black African-Americans” is one of the cultural changes in which America learned to grow and adapt when they were given their freedom from slavery. This so divided the new nation of America that it erupted into America’s Civil War between the “North and the South”. Then came Abraham Lincoln’s “Emancipation Proclamation” that was given in Gettysburg, Virginia on January 1, 1863 as the United States was approaching the third year of this bloody and divisive Civil War. It took another one hundred years for those wounds to heal.
To the Egyptians, there first rose up; a fear that with the growing populations of the Hebrews that they might become a dominant race in Egypt. Then this fear gave way to despise as they hated the Hebrews for using up a larger portion of the Egyptian farmland and natural resources in Egypt. They could witness the Hebrew prosperity, and it appeared to them that the cultural “pie” of prosperity was becoming smaller for the Egyptian people.
In the Chamush, the Jewish commentaries on the Pentateuch and Parashas that are read at the Orthodox Jewish Synagogues every week, one notices that the Jewish editors use collectively the name, “Jews” or “Jewish” people when in fact they are talking, especially in the Book of Exodus in the Parashah Shemos about the entire Hebrew family of Jacob; that is all Twelve Tribes of Israel. These peoples living in Egypt were not just the Jews of the House of Judah but all the Hebrews; that is all the twelve tribes living together, but keeping their own tribal identities as commanded by G-d.
So also today, we see the same brotherly rivalry when the Lost Tribers as the Lost Israelites in Europe and America are seeking to identity as “wannabe Jews” with the Jewish people. Yet, the G-d of Israel, in His wisdom foretold to the Prophet Hosea in a pantomime that which he was to marry a harlot called Gomer. The produce of this illicit relationship was a daughter who was called Lo-ruhamah (“no mercy for Israel”) and a son, Lo-ammi (“not my people”). The Lost Ten Tribes of Northern Israel would rebel against G-d and their brothers the Jews, and would become a people that were no longer G-d's people.
Yet, for the loving and merciful G-d of Israel, this would not be a permanent state of existence. Someday, with the divine assistance of the G-d of Israel, they would come to a higher state of consciousness, a new reality that they too have a destiny, and a “place in the world to come” to a restored back into brotherhood with the Jews of the House of Judah.
These facts were greatly understood when the Jews of the House of Judah experienced a “new awakening” in the 18th century CE, with the call of Rabbi Elijah ben Solomon, known as the Vilna Gaon or “The Gra”, an 18th century Lithuanian Talmudist and Kabbalist, who warned his disciples to return to the land of their forefathers and begin to populate “The Land” in preparation for the “coming of the Messiah.”
At this same time, the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel were also awakening to their new spiritual reality, called the First Great Awakening, that there was a G-d in heaven who is a just and powerful G-d and He will bring all men to judgment before the throne of G-d. While the Jews were experiencing the “Mercy of the G-d of Israel”, the Lost Ten Tribes in America and Northern Europe were standing before the “Judgment of the G-d of Israel”.
It is true, the Lost Tribers of the House of Israel, who were trying to forge a new life into a New Land of Promise in the New World, still had to become accountable of the abominations in which they had lived out their lives wandering across the plains of Southern Russia from the Caucasus to the Isles of the West in Britannia, Eire (Ireland), and Scotland. They had to come to a new reality that they also were of Hebrew-Israelite roots and that their apostate spiritual roots in Roman Christianity were only a degenerated form of their former Hebrew-Judaic roots that once flourished in a place called Roman Judea.
Is it not fascinating that some Lost Tribers in certain Protestant Churches call themselves “Spiritual Israelites” which in fact they are not. They are still spiritually babes in not realizing that as Spiritual Israelites, they are seeking to replace the covenanted Jews of the House of Judah. Instead they are actually “Literal Israelites” whose forefathers rejected the covenanted life as given on the Mount called Sinai, refused to worship in the House of G-d called Solomon’s Temple, refused to accept the priests designated as their spiritual advisors in Jerusalem, and the Mechoqeck, the Jewish rabbanim or the Pharisees of Beit Hillel to be their Torah guided judiciary and rebelled in defiance to the G-d of Israel. They were exiled, and lost their spiritually elevated lifestyle. Over the centuries they wandered back to Rome (Edom), and there wallowed in paganism and idolatry as Roman Christians for almost two thousand years.
Well, those days are over. The G-d of Israel is calling you home. Strange as it may seem, most of you that are reading this article are truly “Literal Lost Israelites” and as spoken by the prophets of the Hebrews, you also have a destiny (see the Prophecy to the House of Israel in Ezekiel 36), and a covenant with HaShem the G-d of Israel.
So join the family, but remember you also have the family obligations to obey the G-d of Israel in living your life as outlined in the “blueprint” called the Torah from Mount Sinai. This is not religion by the perception of what your mind thinks, or how your heart wishes, or how your eyes perceive what true reality should be. This is living how the G-d of Israel has commanded you to live in the 613 commands of the Torah given to the Children of Israel. By living, you will become genetically and physically changed. The message of Passover is our history, and our guide to our present future. It’s time to open up our spiritual eyes and behold; G-d’s salvation in right in front of our face. Now!

The role of prophetic understanding has now slipped away from Christian scholars as the Jews are now carrying the mantle of end-time prophetic understanding. One of the roles the Sages of Judah is to become the conduit for the Divine to give us hints as to HaShem's role in bringing forth the "Appointed Time" and the revealing of the Messiah. The great theme in all of this is the restoration of All Israel. This is not a conditional prophesy and neither is it a Jewish prophesy, but a Hebrew-Israelite prophesy. We will be restored back into brotherhood and fellowship with our cousins, the Jews of the House of Judah for that is G-d's will (Ezekiel 37).
