Palestinian Destruction of the Tomb of Joseph on October 6, 2000
Prime Minister candidate, Arial Sharon, was sitting top of the Temple Mount on September 28, 2000 in a political move to assert the rights of Jews to visit the Temple Mount. The view to the world was obvious that the Temple Mount was not under Israeli control. What was little known was the fact reported that as he sat on that mount he was also reading the text of the G-g Magog War and G-d’s role again in the Jews and Israel’s life. Two days later, the Jewish Day of the blowing of the Shofar warning on Rosh Hashanah began on September 30, 2000 according to the Jewish rabbanim counting.
This date was also notable in that on Rosh Hashanah, 2000, it began the Sabbatical Week of Years in the Jewish Year 5761 that would continue for seven years until Rosh Hashanah 2007. As BibleSearchers reported in the article titled, “The Effect of Jewish Mysticism on Earth’s Final Days”;

Little did he know that within a year, this “war of all wars” would begin, as the “War against” and to some the “War of Terror” Little also did he know that he, Ariel (“the Lion”) Sharon was selected by the God of Israel to be the defacto “king” of Israel to begin the process of divine purification. Little did he see that a “flood of evil” would rain down upon Israel, while the “nations of the world” would end up surrounding the Nation of Israel while he lived in a comatose state, a life of “living death”.
Within hours of Arial Sharon’s bold move that gave him the office of the prime minister of Israel, the Second Islamic Intifada was in full bloom. Rocks were raining down upon Jewish people in prayer below at the Wailing Wall in Old City of Jerusalem.
Within one year, the destruction of New York’s Twin Tower icons symbolizing America’s global empire would precipitate one of the longest and most costly wars in history. The white or golden forces of the Christian West would soon rain down destruction upon Afghanistan, then Iraq, and eventually the Pashtun Tribes in Pakistan in the Islamic Middle East. The strangest act was that here were cousins that were descendants of the Children of Israel that eventually became the nations of Northern Europe and known today as the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel.
The Tomb of Joseph, since time memorial, has been located at the eastern entrance to the valley between the two biblical Mountains of Gerizim and Ebal is one of the holiest sites of Judaism. Someday in the near future, the Tomb of Joseph it will be revered by the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel as the forefather of the Lost Tribes from the Northern Kingdom of Israel.
Not only did a new Islamic Intifada begin, but within hours, the Tomb of Joseph was being pillaged, the holy books of Judah destroyed and the Rabbi whose yeshiva was next to the Tomb of Joseph lay lifeless as he was trying to save the Torah. Something strange was happening.
Here was Joseph, revered by both the Jews and Muslims, who was given the mandate by the G-d of Israel that it would be his descendants of the House of Joseph who would lead the Ten Lost Tribes of Northern Israel home in aliyah at the end of days.
Here is believed the resting place of the bones of the biblical Patriarch Joseph, the famed vizier of Egypt, who not only saved the Egyptian Empire from collapse in the days of seven years of drought and famine, but also saved his seventy member family of the house of Jacob (Israel). This included his brothers who sold him into slavery to some Midian caravan traders. These ‘bones of Joseph’ were taken by the Children of Israel went they fled from Egypt during their famed “Exodus” in days of apocalyptic and stellar catastrophes as the planet, called the ‘death angel’ did a “pass-over Egypt” and ended the Egyptian imperial social culture.
The Tomb of Joseph was located in the city of Nablus near the biblical city of Shechem. It was under the control of the Jordanians until it was captured by the Israelis in 1967 when they captured the “West Bank”. For 28 years it remained under Israeli control until in an act of diplomacy to the Palestinian National Authority in 1995, the control of the “Tomb of Joseph” revered also by the Muslims was turned over to the Palestinians for safekeeping.
Even so, a tenacious enclave of Jewish settlers who lived around the tomb suffered with frequent attacks when targeted by their Islamic neighbors. One such attack in 1996 led to six Israeli soldiers deaths and again in the year 2000 with 18 Palestinian and one Israeli’s deaths. Then in October, 2000, the ‘Tomb’ was turned over to PNA. Within days, this report came from Israel by a former journalist with the Jerusalem Times, today known as ben Yoseif, when he wrote on October 7, 2000;
ben Yoseif – “Today is Shabbat, but I am not in the synagogue. It is already desecrated as far as I am concerned and I am in a state of protest-resignation/mourning/anger…All I know is, today of all days since the world was created, I have to be true to what my heart is saying, be I deceived or not. And there is not one ounce of joy inside of me. Instead , my heart is saying, ‘Write while it is fresh in your mind what you have seen and heard and been told…
In case you have not heard the reason for my ‘insanity’, The Tomb of Joseph and Od Yosef Chai, (“Also Joseph Lives”), the yeshiva there, were handed over early this morning to the Palestinian Authority and within a few hours Jibril demonstrators, (who were not resisted by the PA who had promised to safeguard the holy sites), had broken inside the tomb and were desecrating it, by pissing on it, damaging and doing other unspeakable acts of desecration.
Yesterday, the Palestinian Authority was given free rein on the Temple Mount. I thought I would never live to see such a day. The Palestinian flag being waved above the Kotel (Western Wall) by Arab youths, who showered the Kotel with hundreds of rocks, including sharp shards from slabs of marble the Moslem women were breaking and handing to their children.
The Kotel had to be evacuated and would-be-Orthodox worshippers could only watch at a distance behind police barricades while…they bow to Mecca were given their freedom to exercise the “Day of Rage.” The Israeli police were ordered by Barak away from the mount so as not to “provoke” them to violence and only Palestinian Authority police supervised the goings on above…
I put “Palestinian” in quotes above for a reason. These were not Arabs who claim Palestinian identity. These were Israeli Arab children who have Israeli citizenship. The Palestinians were kept out of the city of Jerusalem by security forces that were anxious about the “Day of Rage” declaration and wanted to minimize violence in the city. So the Palestinian leadership decided to bus these ‘proxy Palestinian youth’ to try to provoke the Israeli Police at the Al Aksa Mosque (Dome of the Rock) after the ‘worship’ ended, hoping for more network footage of police resistance.”
Here was one of the holiest sites of Judaism, housing the remains of the Patriarchal Tomb of Joseph, whose Israelite descendents from his two sons, Ephraim, became the ancestral peoples of the Isle of Britannia known later as the British Empire, and Manasseh, representing the peoples of the United States and now the American Empire.
The authenticity of the site has been confirmed by the IAA, even though the Islamic traditions point to medieval ruins called the Yussuf-Kalah (“Castle of Joseph”) located next to the Cave of the Patriarchs, the site of Abraham’s tomb in the city of Hebron.
Yet, archeological discoveries at the Nablus tomb in 1913 authenticated the antiquity of the site with the discovery of a nearby tomb, plus Egyptian relics dating to the era of 1600-1400 BCE. One famous American pilgrim visiting Joseph’s Tomb, Mark Twain wrote his visit in 1869.
Mark Twain – “Few tombs on earth command the veneration of so many races and men of diverse creeds as this of Joseph. Samaritan and Jew, Moslem and Christian alike, revere it, and honour it with their visits.”
Of interest to the Lost Tribes of Israel, it was Joseph with his son, Ephraim, who would claim the divine calling to be recognized as the “name” of the collective and future Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel that the G-d of Israel promised (Ezekiel 36) to re-claim, redeem and restore to their ancestral lands of their forefathers at the “appointed time” when the Maschiah ben Dovid will return and set up G-d’s kingdom on earth.
It was also Joseph who would also be honored to be the ancestral forefather of the future Jewish messiah, called the Maschiah ben Yosef (Messiah son of Joseph). It is also to this exploration to discover who this enigmatic spiritual and military leader who would bring the victory for the Jewish people at the end of day and like King Josiah die in battle, while the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel would be restored back into fellowship with their own cousins the Jews of Judah.
