Japan’s Day with G-d’s Destiny – “The Hour of G-d’s Judgment has Come” - Part One
Isaiah 24:1-3 – “Look! Adonai is stripping and destroying the earth, turning it upside down and scattering its inhabitants – priest and commoner, slave and master, maid and mistress, buyer and seller, lender and borrower, creditor and debtor. The land will be completely stripped, completely plundered, for Adonai has spoken this word.
Early Reports in Japan
On March 11, 2011, the unthinkable happened to the Island Nation of Japan. As the recipient of the greatest number of earthquakes yearly this nation is a nation used to earthquakes, but on this day, it vaulted Japan in the Top 5 Areas of the World with the largest earthquakes in recorded history. And the world stood riveted in shock, for this earthquake was linked also to a larger warning that by March 20-25, 2011, a large quake or a multitude of quakes were predicted to hit the western seaboard of North, Central and South Americas.
Top 5 Earthquakes
- May 1960: A 9.5 Mw earthquake in Southern Chile associated with a Tsunami that killed at least 1,716 people
- March 1964: A 9.2 Mw earthquake hit Prince William Sound in Alaska with the resulting Tsunami that killed 131 people.
- November 1952: A 9.0 Mw quake in Kamchatka caused damage but no reported deaths despite setting off 30-foot (9.1-meter) waves in Hawaii.
- December 2004: An Indian Ocean Tsunami was triggered by a 9.0 Mw Earthquake that killed 230,000 people in a dozen countries.
- March 11, 2011: A 9.0 Mw Earthquake struck the northeastern coast of Japan, triggering a 33 foot tsunami that slammed the coastline near the Port city of Sendai, with upwards to 80,000 people reported missing or killed.
The Great Sendai Earthquake of 2011 was only preceded by the:
- Great Hanshin Earthquake (Kobe earthquake) occurred on January 17, 1995 with a 6.8 Mw later adjusted to 7.3 Mw quake lasting for 20 seconds. The epicenter was 20 km. away from the city of Kobe with a population 1.0 million and killed 6,434 people. This earthquake cost an estimated $102.5 billion converted to 2011 dollars.
- Great Kantō Earthquake on September 1, 1923 with a 6.8 adjusted to a 7.3 Mw earthquake lasting 4-10 minutes and claimed 140,000 lives plus an additional 40,000 missing. The epicenter was in the deep water surrounding the Izu ŌshimaIsland in Sagami Bay. Its tsunami was so massive that it moved the 93-ton Great Buddha statue at Kamakura, located 60 km away from the epicenter almost two feet.
The First Day of the Mega-Quake in Japan
- Japan’s Mega-Quake first recorded as a 8.9 Mw earthquake occurred on March 11, 2010.
- In the 1st 48 hours it was converted to a 9.0 Mw earthquake comparable in strength to the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami (9.0 Mw) and the 1952 Kamchatka (9.0 Mw)
- The Great Sendai Earthquake was heralded, and may be considered to be an aftershock of prior quakes that includes: March 9, 2011 foreshock 7.2 Sendai Earthquake, March 11, 2011 Mega-quake 9.0 Mw Sendai Earthquake, and the 6.8 Mw, 7.1 Mw, 6.5 Mw, 6.5 Mw, and 6.6 Mw aftershocks on the same day.
The Sendai Tsunami was the Largest Tsunami to hit Japan in 115 years when the June 15, 1896 Meiji-Sanriku earthquake (8.5 mw) killed over 27,000 people when a 25 meter (82 foot) tsunami slammed the Sanriku coastline near Iwate Prefecture.
- An explosion was reported to have occurred at the 40 year old Fukushima nuclear plant in Northeastern Japan.
- Early Death toll claimed to be more than 1,700 people.
- Up to 10,000 people from the Japanese town of Minamisanriku eighty miles north of Tokyo were reported missing as the town was obliterated.
- A Quarter of a million people had taken refuge in emergency shelters to the east and north of Tokyo.
- Fifty thousand rescue workers were deployed.

The First Images were Awesome and Terrifying of the Direct Impact of Japan’s 2011 Tsunami as it hit the Coastal Village of Natori near the Port of Sendai, Japan

About 200 to 300 bodies were found along the water line near the city of Sendai, a port city in the northeastern part of the country and the closest major city to the epicenter. Thousands of homes were destroyed, many roads were impassible, trains and buses were not running, and power and cell phones remained down in the region. Here was a land of utter destruction.
Houses Swept Away by the 33 Foot Tsunami in Natori City in Northeastern Japan
Nearby schools, shops and offices began to shake violently as the ground seemed to roar. Lifelong residents, accustomed to frequent tremors in the most earthquake-prepared country in the world, described the quake as the worst they had experienced.
Within a few hours, the small town or village of Natori was being engulfed in flames as debris from their town continued to float down Tsunami River.

Nearby the bustling city of Sendai, was still clueless to the impending disaster that was about to unfold in their lives. Here is what life was like – money, bustling cosmopolitan city built upon the foundations of power, greed, and control. Money is power, and Power ranked Japan with America and the European Union as the Economic Capitals of the World. This was the World that Was!

Isaiah 24:4-6 – “The earth fades and withers, the world wilts and withers, the exalted of the earth languish. The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants; because they have transgressed the teachings changed the Torah and broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore a curse is devouring the earth, and its inhabitants are punished for their guilt. It is why those living there waste away, and the people left are few."

This was the world that became a memory when in a moment of time sudden destruction came upon the land. The tectonic plates began to shake, but this time was different and life will never again be the same afterwards.
As the residents of the rest of Planet Earth watched with amazement, they also began to wonder. Was there a “sin” of Japan that could be transmitted to the rest of the inhabitants on earth? To answer this question, we appeal to the Japanese reporter Yoichi Shimatsu, former editor of the Japan Times Weekly.
Yoichi Shimatsu - “The Wave … blew past Japan's shoreline defenses of harbor breakwaters and gigantic four-legged blocks called tetrapods, lifting ships to ram through seawalls and crash onto downtown parking lots. Seaside areas were soon emptied of cars and houses dragged up and back out to sea. Wave heights of up to 10 meters (33 feet) are staggering, but before deeming these as unimaginable, consider the historical Sanriku tsunami that towered to 15 meters (nearly 50 feet) and killed 27,000 people in 1896.
Nature's terrifying power, however we may dread it is only as great as the human-caused vulnerabilities of our civilization. Soon after Christmas 2004, I volunteered for the rescue operation on the day after the Indian Ocean tsunami and simultaneously did an on-site field study on the causes of fatalities in southern Thailand. The report , issued by Thammasat and Hong Kong universities, concluded that high water wasn't the sole cause of the massive death toll—230,000 people dead.
No, it's buildings that kill—to be specific, badly designed structures without escape routes onto roofs or, in our greed for real estate, situated inside drained lagoons and riverbeds or on loose landfill. In today’s Tohoku disaster, an ultramodern Sendai Airport sat helplessly flooded on all sides while nearby a monstrous black torrent swept entire houses upstream.
Other threats are built into the vulnerabilities of our critical infrastructure and power systems. The balls of orange flames now churning out of huge gas storage tanks in Ichihara, in the prefecture of Chiba, might never have happened if technical precautions had been properly carried out.
Most people assume that the meticulous Japanese are among the world's most responsible citizens. As an investigative journalist who covered the Hanshin (Kobe) earthquake and the Tokyo subway Sarin gas attack, both in 1995, I beg to differ. Japan is better than elsewhere in organizing official cover-ups.”
For people arriving or waiting to leave at the modern Sendai International Airport, their whole life was like watching it in slow motion being washed away with the tsunami flood waters. As the sages of Judah are today saying, “HaShem is cleansing this planet of evil.
A Smoldering River of Wreckage near the Sendai Airport at the Port of Sendai, revealed its True Carnage
The Tsunami Sea surrounding the Isolated Sendai Airport with Remarkable Video during the Tsunami linked below.
The Port of Sendai, where the abundance of the Japanese economy was exported to the rest of the world was now a wasteland where farther upstream the Japanese landscape became a heaping burial ground of human debris; homes, businesses, cars, ships, and every other imaginable materialistic human possession including no doubt thousands of human bodies whose lives were sniffed out to disappear from human history.
There at the airport, airplanes, cars and a massive down flow of buildings, tankers, ships, and car debris made the Sendai International Airport Terminal like an Island in a Sea of Destruction. Life would never be the same.
The Sendai Port became a Wasteland, Terminals destroyed, Ships sunk, and other boats floating aimlessly around going nowhere.
The foaming wall of the watery Tsunami swept away without remorse everything in its surging power of destruction; dreams, opportunities, material wealth and possessions, and destiny. The water docks along the waterfront near dock terminal created an apocalyptic disaster scene. Giant waves engulfed buildings while carrying floating cars that later crashed and toppled other buildings.

At the Port City of Sendai, BBC's reporter, Damian Grammaticas talked about the hundreds of cars and debris being swept inland of smashed buildings with the devastation of the Sendai harbor described as “truly astonishing”. As he reported:
BBC’s Damian Grammaticas – "Giant shipping containers have been swept inland and smashed against buildings; all around me are trees and rubble. The streets covered in mud that was swept inland. There are dozens and dozens of cars that were carried along, twisted and turned, and crushed by the wave. The gas and water have been cut off, fires are burning, and locals say hundreds of people died in this area."
Japan's NHK TV video footage of homes washed away by the 2011 Tsunami in the Port City of Sendai in the Miyagi Prefecture (state) eastern Japan, after Japan was struck by a magnitude 8.9 earthquake.
Shocked residents in Sendai, the largest city closest to the epicenter of the 9.0 magnitude quake, were once proud, purposeful, and arrogantly proud. They now watched helplessly as their homes and businesses were swept away. Their livelihoods that came from the businesses that gave them their wealth were also swept away, for the businesses they worked at were swept off their foundations by the engulfing waters destroyed into the oblivion of chaos and utter destruction.
They too have been a participant of G-d’s great Plan of Salvation of life, and they too have a collective responsibility to honor the G-d of Israel. As terrifying as this Earthquake was, it is only the “beginning of sorrows” Today’s 9.0 Mw earthquakes will only be like a fading nightmare compared to the judgments left to come.
The G-d of Israel is giving Japan a wake-up-call. “Come to the House of our L-rd” offer the prophets of old for the Ancient Hebrews, Jews or Lost Tribes have touched the lives of the Japanese, of which hundreds of millions have emigrated to the land where conceptual ideals of life and living equality under the stewardship of the Almighty One of Israel is open to all.
On the Island of Japan, as the apocalyptic prophets of Israel have foretold, their history is almost over. Their threats of a nuclear meltdown are only a minor drama of the future when the Ring of Fire begins earnestly to explode all the way around the Rim of the Pacific Ocean, for the “Time of G-d’s Judgment has Come!

Isaiah 24:7-9 – “The New Wine fails, the vines wilt, all the revelers sigh, the happy sound of tambourines ceases, the shouts of merry maker are stilled, the joy of the lyre ends. They no longer drink their (sake) wine, strong liquor tastes bitter to those drinking it.”

For some, they just picked up their family and left!
For others, they stopped in their tracks, but all roads went to nowhere. All the trains stopped on their tracks while four trains disappeared, washed away by the immense force of the tsunami.
Airports were closed so you couldn’t leave the country and even planes were washed away like driftwood on the unstoppable forces of nature swirling around their lives from the sea.
As one of the most advanced nations in electronic technology, Japan’s cars and trains, along with Germany are the wonders of the world. Even so, Japan lost four of its commuter trains that were traveling along the coastline when the tsunami hit and feared engulfed into the waves of annihilation. Two of Japan’s famous “Bullet Trains” also disappeared, one with 400 passengers.

Subway systems were shut down, but then thousands of terrified passengers had to be released from their subterranean tunnels while they feared while waiting that they would be buried alive by collapsing tunnels during a subsequent aftershock quake.
Burning Building in the Industrial Sector of the Port of Sendai
In one of Japan’s bustling coastal seaports at Sendai, utter chaos reigned as flames engulf buildings in an industrial complex at the Sendai Port while nearby the nation was bracing for a possible meltdown at the nuclear reactor.

Nearby the debris began to pile high, as the northeastern coastline became a swampy waste land and cargo So was this an unusual quake? The records do affirm such a fact.
- The 2011 9.0 Mw quake was the largest earthquake in Japanese history.
- It was the first time that a larger quake came as an after-shock to a prior quake, where the latter quake was larger than the first.
- The 9.0 Mw Japanese Sendai Earthquake tied for the 3rd, 4th and 5th place as the most powerful and maybe the most destructive earthquake in history.
