The revelation of transparency and justice is unfolding in Israel. Covenanted to be the guardians of justice, not just in Jerusalem but to the whole world, the Shurat HaDin “Israel Law Center at Ramat Gan in Israel decided in 2007 that it was about time, the Jewish people began to bring true justice to Israel in a way that “holiness” could once again return to the Land of Israel and to the property that the House of G-d will someday return.
Zechariah 8:2-3, 13-14, 16-17 – “Thus said HaShem, Master of Legions: I have become zealous with great zeal on behalf of Zion; I have become zealous with great wrath on its behalf... I have returned to Zion, and I have made My dwelling in the midst of Jerusalem; Jerusalem will be called, “The City of Truth” and the Mountain of HaShem, Master of Legions, “The Holy Mountain.”…
And it will happen that just as you, O House of Judah and House of Israel, had been a curse for the nations, so will I save you and you will be a blessing. Do not fear, and let your hands be strong!...These are the things that you should do; Speak the truth with one another; and in your gates, judge with truth, justice and peace. Do not think evil towards one another in your hearts and do not love false oaths, for all these are what I hate.”
Carved Stones and Rock Debris with Possible First and Second Temple Ruins
In what is recognized as first-of-its-kind private prosecution brought by Shurat HaDin (“strict biblical law”) against the Islamic Waqf ("Trust") in Jerusalem the Israeli Supreme Court gave its decision on the case sitting at the High Court of Justice for three years, since October 11, 2007. Recognizing the Israeli government still allows a radical-anti-Israel authority to govern and oversee the Muslim holy site, including all the Islamic mosques on the Jerusalem holy site, the Shurat HaDin filed charges against the Waqf for continuing to use bulldozers upon the Temple Mount and massive reconstructions. The debris from these excavations included Jewish artifacts from the 1st and the 2nd Temple eras. Yet, the Jerusalem police continued to refuse to site warrants or police to safeguard these ancient relics, so they filed the suit against the Muslim Waqf. As reported by the Shurat HaDin:
Destructive Digging with Bulldozer on the Temple Mount
Shurat HaDin - “On October 11, 2007, we filed a private criminal action against the Islamic Waqf on behalf of more than 150 Israeli citizens, indicting the Waqf members for the illegal bulldozing and destruction of Jewish artifacts. Many of these relics being destroyed date back to the First Temple Period! We accused the Islamic Waqf of seeking to eradicate all evidence of Israel's ancient connection to this holy site and trying to rewrite Jerusalem's history. We argued that it is nothing less than a religious, cultural and archaeological crime against the entire world Jewish community. We were seeking to imprison the Waqf's leaders.
We turned to the High Court (BAGATZ) after the Attorney General (AG) moved in May 2008, to have our indictment dismissed. At that time we were notified by the AG that his office was attempting to halt our private prosecution on the grounds that an issue with such broad public implications and interest cannot be prosecuted by private citizens. In essence, the AG refused, out of fear of the international response, to prosecute these Islamic extremists and he moved to obstruct Shurat HaDin from undertaking the litigation ourselves.”
The Shurat HaDin set their arguments that the Attorney General was biased against the case for he had a “political agenda” and was “too afraid of the Arab states, the European Union, the UN and the US State Department to legally defend Jerusalem.” The attorneys charged that the AG could not make this a “pure legal case”, so he should remove himself from the legal proceedings and that they should be given the legal action independently as provided by the law of Israel.
During the legal proceedings, it was the urging of one of the justices that the case be withdrawn because “the Temple Mount is very emotionally charged”. In response, yes, it was a “charged” atmosphere, but this was the reason for the legal action to begin with, and for Israel, they were in defense of “Judaism’s holiest site.”
This week, the Israeli Supreme High Court of Justice called the BAGATZ (Beit Mishpat Gavoah LeTzedek), refuse to allow the private attorneys of the Shurat HaDin “Israel Law Center at Ramat Gan in Israel to prosecute the law using the Torah rulings of strict biblical law (Shurat HaDin). The Law Center head Attorney Nitzana Darshan-Leitner stated that the High Court ruling in this case “gave the Islamic Wakf a free pass to continue its destruction of Israel's sacred heritage sites. The Supreme Court also failed to order the Attorney General to prosecute the case according to the letter of the law by the State of Israel. Instead, these private attorneys exclaimed;
Shurat HaDin – “The justices held that our efforts to safeguard the ancient First Temple artifacts on behalf of world Jewry could not be done by means of a private prosecution…It is absurd that while the Israeli government is mounting an international campaign against UNESCO to protest its labeling Rachel's Tomb and the Cave of the Macpelah in Hebron as Muslim mosques and denying their Jewish origins, it obstructs Shurat HaDin from acting to safeguard the status of the Jewish people's holiest site. Should world Jewry and Christian Zionists not shout against this blatant sanctioning of vandalizing of the Temple Mount?”
Yet, the days are coming when the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel return and are reunited with their cousins, the Jews of the House of Judah. When that day comes, the full strength of the L-rd of hosts will strengthen His people and destruction and corruption will be cast away from the Holy Land of Israel. G-d’s justice will be vindicated! For the Prophet Zechariah proclaimed;
Zechariah 14:20-21 – “In that day, “HOLINESS TO THE L-RD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses, The pots in the L-rd’s house shall be like the bowls before the alter, Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the L-rd.”
