Celebrating Succot on the Mountains of Samaria as We tabernacle with G-d looking in the Heavens with Thanksgiving
We celebrated Sukkot, this year overlooking the mountains of Samaria. We prayed for a succar as we didn’t have a lot of spare cash and they are expensive to buy here. A friend of ours offered to build a frame for very little and we bought a curtain meant for the purpose. It was erected at the last possible moment so we didn’t know until then if God would supply!!!
Blessings on the Eve of the Festival of Thanksgiving
We invited and dined with a few friends on Erev Sukkot the arrival of the holiday!!! The weather was wonderful and we had friends over to welcome in this festival.
The succar was finished and we remembered the provision and protection of God to our forefathers in the desert so long ago. The succar is like God's arms around us, an embrace of provision and protection. Baruch Hashem
The Joy of Celebrating and Fellowshipping with Friends in G-d’s Holy Land
We celebrated amidst riots in the Old City (Jerusalem) over the redevelopment of City of David project. I sincerely believe it was a plot from the enemy to prevent us from celebrating our appointed feast with our God!!
We are sad that our half brothers have been kidnapped by the enemy and are in the bondage of Islam. Yet we pray for their release as we pray for the sight for our people that God would remove the veil He has placed over our eyes!!
Lighting the Candles at Succot
As we lit the candles we prayed for the coming of Maschiach and the new kingdom!! As I look out today I can still see the fires burning from the rioting. And this year the verse, “He has set a table in the presence of our enemies”, was so real to us.
Teaching a Young Boy about the Lights of Succot
I encourage you all Brothers and Sisters to come and visit the land. If you have no way to come home at the moment, come visit instead. The mountains of Samaria await you all!!
Join us in our fight against injustice and poverty and misinformation!!! Thanks for your prayers for us here,
