“. . . the Simplicity that is in the Messiah.” —2 Corinthians 11:3
Simplicity is the secret to seeing things clearly. Not always does a “saint” or a “chosen one” think clearly until a long time passes, but both of them ought to “see clearly” without any difficulty. You cannot think through spiritual confusion to make things clear; to make things clear, you must obey.
In intellectual matters you can think things out, but when it is time to dwell mentally in the spiritual realms you will only think yourself into further wandering thoughts and more confusion. This is a real concern with Christian Lost Israelites of the House of Israel. When it comes to spiritual dialogue, we hear words like. “I feel this…” or “The Church says that”.
On a personal basis, it is very hard for Western Christians to focus for long periods of time during worship without wandering thoughts and loss of attentiveness. Worship services on weekends are modified entertainment events with small pastoral homilies dealing only with personal counseling problems with a religious twist.
In a world in which the commands of Torah have been “done away” there is no longer any room to come face to face with the judgments of G-d. Church polity is democratically voted upon and religious authority yields to church rulings that are expedient to the masses rather than the will of G-d.
It might be good for the Lost Tribes of Israel living predominately in Northern Europe and North America plus the member countries of the British Commonwealth to consider their Orthodox Jewish cousins, in a world of ethical and religious relativity, that the commands of the L-rd given to the Children of Israel at the mount called Sinai are still binding and true.
On Yom Kippur, the Jews will spend over eight hours in communal reciting of scriptures as they beseech the G-d of Israel to enter their names in the Book of Life for another year. They will pray for the nations of the world of which they stand as a brilliant beacon of their mission as the “Light of the World”.
It’s time to consider that the spiritual leaders of Judah, the Jewish Rabbanim and the Sages of Judaism, have kept spiritual clarity intact for the Jewish believers for over two thousand years. In a world in which Christian Protestants are no longer protesting their apostate Roman Christian roots and Roman Catholicism is crumbling under the cleric curse of sexual depravity, without deep spiritual leaders like the Jewish Rabbanim, connected with the divine roots of Torah living, Christianity will soon disappear as a powerful force in spiritual and ethical behavior. One reason may be that Yahshua HaMaschiah (Jesus Christ) was not a Christian cleric or bishop, but was a Jewish rabbi who as a Hasidic Orthodox Jew lived His life above and beyond the letter of the law.
When it comes to one’s personal life and you feel the “pressure of the Divine”, don’t hesitate and make your personal friends your spiritual counselors. The first thing to do is to “obey” the G-d of Israel in that matter. Bring all your “arguments and . . . every thought into captivity to the obedience of the Messiah” regarding the matter. When you do, everything will become as clear as daylight to you (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Your capacity to reason will only come later, for by reasoning is not how we “see”. We see spiritually as children, trusting that what the Almighty One directs for our lives, He expects us to do. When we try to become wise, we lose our sight and see nothing. (see Matthew 11:25).
When we allow even the smallest parts of our lives not to come under the control of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), this is all that is sufficient to bring to us spiritual confusion. Spending hours allowing our wandering minds to dwell upon it will never bring clarity or clear thinking. Spiritual confusion can only be conquered through obedience to the laws of Torah for they are the “blueprint” of our own creation. As soon as we obey, we will have spiritual discernment.
This may be humiliating to us for we do know that when we are confused, we know that the reason lies in the state of our mind. But when our natural power of spiritual sight is devoted and submitted in obedience to the spiritual manifestation of the Holy One of Israel (Holy Spirit), it becomes the very power by which we perceive God’s will. Why? Let’s keep our entire life in spiritual simplicity. The Holy Spirit is the Holy One of Israel manifested in the spiritual realm as the Messiah is the physical manifestation of the G-d of Israel in the flesh.”
And when the Messiah returns to dwell with man on that future Sukkot, He will again be revealed as YHVH’s Messiah this time again manifested in the flesh for all eternity.
