In the aftermath of the dizzying week with Obama and Netanyahu swinging the political polls of Europe, America and Israel, are we beginning to realize that the populous of those three nations appear to swinging into the final streams of prophetic prophecy? Are they joining and now playing the part of the prime actors on the prophetic drama that the ancient prophets of Israel and Judah stated would happen at the time of the end?
What does that mean? It appears that the Ten Tribes of Israel in Northern Europe, America and the European Commonwealth nations are maneuvering into the final paths as G-d’s chosen people that they were predestined to follow? Here we may begin to the see the rise of the “dry bones” of the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel as ‘All Israel’ appears will soon become united.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu came to America at the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner. In the week prior to his visit, he was preparing how many concessions he would be willing to give up to the American White House whose Oval Office resident was resiliently shifting American foreign policy against the strategic interests of the State of Israel to defend herself against the Islamic lust for her destruction. Before him stood a world uniting again against the Jewish people as country after country lined up to support a unilateral creation of a Palestinian Arab state in September. He also was witnessing the Palestinian leadership rewriting with increasing confidence the obliteration of Jewish and Israelite ancient history
Before his own Knesset, the prime minister gave his most dovish speech since taking office. He was preparing to declare the Rubicon Line in which Israel was not longer willing to cross. He spoke about which of the isolated Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria he was willing to give up in the “settlement blocs” of Shomron and Judea. He insisted on Israel’s long time “military presence” in Jordan, but potentially appeared to be willing to give up Israel’s sovereignty over the strategic plain in the Jordan River Valley that could become an open supply route for weapons of mass destruction if a “New Joseph” were to come into power in a new Palestinian State.
He spoke to the MKs in the Israeli Knesset about the “painful concessions” that Israel may have to make with the hopes to soothe the continuous pressure of the American State Department to wring more promises out of Israel while allowing the Palestinians sit in the bleachers with no intensions to negotiate.
Just as Netanyahu was boarding his plane to head to Washington D.C., President Barak Obama suddenly decided to steal the limelight and preempt Netanyahu in one blind-side speech from the State Department. He was seeking to sweep aside Netanyahu’s predetermined concessions, and adopt the only Palestinian negotiating premise; the State of Israel must accept the future Palestinian on the “indefensible – indeed suicidal – 1949 armistice lines.”
President Barak Obama – “So while the core issues of the conflict must be negotiated, the basis of those negotiations is clear: a viable Palestine, and a secure Israel. The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states. The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.”
The president of the Unites States suddenly was putting future of the State of Israel in a car careening on a one-way trip off the cliff of the Map of Planet Earth. Obama drew the “Line in the Sand” and Netanyahu bravely walked right over it. Where the gauntlet was thrown down, Netanyahu unveiled Obama’s bluff. In the moment of crisis, along came a voice from Israel that cut like a laser; ‘enough was enough’. As Caroline Glick, deputy managing editor of the Jerusalem Post wrote, in the article titled, “Lessons of Netanyahu’s Triumph”, we read;
Caroline Glick – “Netanyahu was no longer going to Washington to explain where Israel will stand aside. He was going to Washington to explain what Israel stands for. Obama threw down the gauntlet. Netanyahu needed to pick it up by rallying both the Israeli people to his side and rallying the American people to Israel's side. Both goals, he realized, could only be accomplished by presenting his vision of what Israel is and what it stands for. And Netanyahu did his job. He did his job brilliantly.”
Just before Netanyahu’s speech, Israel was being demonized around the world. The Lost Tribes of Simeon and Levi who settled in the land of Scotland were banning Israeli books from their public libraries, boycotting Israeli products by putting the “Nazi Yellow Star” on all Israeli produce and goods, while the Tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh in America’s San Francisco was preparing a proposition to ban the oldest Jewish religious ritual, circumcision, with a $1,000.00 fine and up to a year in prison.
Netanyahu also witnessed the British Methodists of the Lost Tribe of Ephraim as they their politicizing their Christian spiritual or humanistic agenda and abandoned the Old Testament because it was “too Jewish”. Christianity has crossed that line before while under the mantle of Roman Orthodox Christian Crusades in the 11th century, they wiped out Jews and “infidel Muslims” alike in a mass genocide under the blood red crossed banner of Jesus Christ.
Here we are seeing today, a spiritual battle for the hearts and souls of everyone on Planet Earth. The forces of heaven are battling the forces of darkness and manifested on earth as the great archetypes of good and evil seeking world dominion.
Then the Lost Tribe of Benjamin, whose descendants settled in the region of the Norway, who are internationally known for their robust anti-Semitism and hatred for the State of Israel. The state radio and TV networks continue to receive active state approval by the Norway Broadcast Council for their anti-Israel bias, supporting frequent calls for Israeli boycotts and widely supported by Lutheran bishops.
The national anti-Semitic stance of Norway recently received international limelight when the “Wall Street Journal” hosted a ‘dialogue’ between the Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, one of Israel’s most eloquent speakers on defense of Israel. Dershowitz charged that who claims that Jonas Gahr Støre’s position that Norway’s philosophy is ‘dialogue’ was illegitimate for three Norwegian universities refused to accept Dershowitz’s offer for free lectures and refused to dialogue about Israel’s role in international relations.
Then Dershowitz turned to the Foreign Minister and stated; “Only once before have I been prevented from lecturing at universities in a country. The other country was apartheid South Africa.” Later Dershowitz wrote, “Hamas and its supporters are invited into the dialogue, but supporters of Israel are excluded by an implicit, yet very real, boycott against pro-Israel views.” So Caroline Glick wrote about Netanyahu in this political environment:
Caroline Glick - “But then Netanyahu arrived in Washington and said, “Enough already, we’ve had quite enough of this dangerous nonsense.” And we felt things we haven’t felt for a long time. We felt empowered. We felt we had a voice. We felt proud. We felt we had a leader. We felt relieved.
The American people, whose overwhelming support for Israel was demonstrated by their representatives in both houses of the Congress on Tuesday, also felt empowered, proud and relieved. Because not only did Netanyahu eloquently remind them of why they stand with Israel, he reminded them of why everyone who truly loves freedom stands with America.
It is true that the American lawmakers who interrupted Netanyahu’s remarks dozens of times to applaud wanted to use his presence in their chamber to send a message of solidarity to the people of Israel. But during the course of his speech, it became apparent that it wasn’t just their desire to show solidarity that made them stand and applaud so many times. Netanyahu managed to relieve them as well.
Since he assumed office, Obama has been traveling the world apologizing for America’s world leadership. He has been lecturing the American people about the need to subordinate America’s national interests to global organizations like the United Nations that are controlled by dictatorships which despise them. Suddenly, here was an allied leader reminding them of why America is a great nation that leads the world by right, not by historical coincidence.
It is not coincidental that many American and Israeli observers have described Netanyahu’s speech as “Churchillian.” Winston Churchill’s leadership was a classic example of democratic leadership. And Netanyahu is Churchill’s most fervent pupil. The democratic leadership model requires a leader to set out his vision of where his country must go and convince the public to follow him. That is what Churchill did. And that is what Netanyahu did this week. And like Churchill in June 1940, Netanyahu’s success this week was dazzling.
Just how dazzling was made clear by a Haaretz poll of the Israeli public conducted after Netanyahu’s speech before the Congress. The poll found that Netanyahu’s approval ratings increased an astounding 13 percentage points, from 38 to 51 percent in one week. Two-thirds of the Israelis who watched his speech said it made them proud.”
As proud as Israel may stand today, the facts on the ground state the obvious. Eitan Friedman was commenting in the Jewish Herald Online from Jerusalem on a recent half-marathan he ran in Israel’s capital city of Jerusalem, as he reflected what being “normal” means in Israel. “Here is how current events resound with me”:
- Time it takes me to run 21 km: 1 hour 56 minutes 11 seconds.
- Time it would take me to run from my workplace to Wednesday’s terrorist bombing: about 3 minutes.
- Time that innocent Israelis had to run for cover when the bomb exploded at the bus-stop: several milliseconds.
- Time that my children and I would have to run into our “safe room” at the sound of an air-raid alarm before a Palestinian missile hit its target: about 2 minutes.
- Time that Jews living in southern cities have to run to their safe rooms after the alarm sounds: several seconds, if the alarm sounds at all.
- Time that Palestinian civilians have to run from their homes after the Israeli military warns them of an attack: several hours/days.
- Time it takes for Palestinian terrorists to run for cover after launching Grad missiles at Israel: They don’t need to – they launch them from the protection of schools, hospital buildings and mosques (where they know that the most ethical military in the world will rarely fire back at such locations).
- Time it takes the monkeys at the U.N. to run to condemn Israel for setting up security check-points to prevent terrorist bombings and defending Israeli cities from missile attacks: no time at all.
How will the Scottish people, the Norwegians, the British, and all other nations feel if they had to live under the threat of destruction in milliseconds by Islamic terrorists? That day may be soon in theirs and our near future. As reflected upon this fact, Prime Minister Netanyahu made these remarks.
Prime Minister Netanyahu - “You know very well, that in the Middle East, the only peace that will hold is a peace you can defend. So peace must be anchored in security. In recent years, Israel withdrew from South Lebanon and Gaza. But we didn't get peace. Instead, we got 12,000 thousand rockets fired from those areas on our cities, on our children, by Hezbollah and Hamas.
The UN peacekeepers in Lebanon failed (refused) to prevent the smuggling of this weaponry. The European observers in Gaza evaporated overnight. So if Israel simply walked out of the territories, the flow of weapons into a future Palestinian state would be unchecked. Missiles fired from it could reach virtually every home in Israel in less than a minute. I want you to think about that too. Imagine that right now we all had less than 60 seconds to find shelter from an incoming rocket. Would you live that way? Would anyone live that way? Well, we aren’t going to live that way either.”
What will the Scottish people, the Norwegians, the British, or any other nations in the world do if they had to live under the threat of destruction in milliseconds to 60 seconds by a terrorist bomb or missile. It’s even more surreal to consider from the eyes of the G-d of the Universe that those that hate Israel and seek and promote her destruction are descendants of the brothers of the forefather of the Jewish people, Judah.
For one moment of time, the world witnessed when one national leader stood up bravely and affirmed where his nation stood as a leader of the free world, where democratic freedom allows a nation to choose a culture of life instead of a culture of death. Here is where the expression of one’s belief in G-d allows the creative exploration of G-d’s universe that has brought more Nobel laureates to the Jewish people than any other race of peoples.
Let us agree that the message of the Prime Minister to the joint Congress of the United States was flawed. As Joel Rosenberg wrote in his blog, “Analysis: Netanyahu goes to Washington to discuss “Epic Battle” in the Epicenter”
Joel Rosenberg – “The Prime Minister's speech to Congress was excellent in many ways. He rightly described the "epic battle" underway in the epicenter. He described a great shaking going on in the Middle East. He rightly warned that Iran and her nuclear program is the greatest threat, that Hamas is the new al Qaeda, and that in all of the Arab world, only Israeli Arabs have true safety, security, and fully protected human and civil rights…
However, it should be noted that Netanyahu never cited the Bible, never called on the name of the Lord, and never called the Jewish people to trust fully and completely in the God of Israel, but rather promised to divide the land of Israel as a concession to the Palestinians, even while promising never to divide Jerusalem. These were mistakes. He wasn't the first Israeli Prime Minister to make them. But he is making them nonetheless. He was right to thank the U.S. for all our help and support of Israel over the years, and he was right to seek continued help and support from the American people and government. But neither he nor Israel should become dependent upon American help because the Bible tells us it won't be there for long.
The Bible is clear: only theLord will save Israel. It is time for Israelis to consider this very carefully. For time is short. "The Day of the Lord is coming; surely it is near." (Joel 2:1)
Now we wait with anticipation and see if Prime Minister Netanyahu like King Josiah of old, leads his people into a spiritual revival to reclaim their chosen status as being G-d’s Mechoqeck, his legal jurors as the guardians of His secrets in the Torah to bring the next era of spiritual enlightenment in the soon to come messianic age of the Maschiah ben Dovid (Messiah son of David).
